  • Canada: Hey, Alfred. How’s 2017 going for you?
  • America: It’s going fine.
  • Narrator: Of course, in this case, ‘fine’ is only meant to reassure. He had never been less fine, nor was he fine in the first place. Here, the word ‘fine’ could be defined as 'I am actually slowly dying on the inside, but I don’t wish for anyone to worry.’
Romano's characterization for you ☆

I hope it will help you with writing imagines with Romano!

So, the thing that is really important about him (and a lot of people forget about it) is the fact that he is mean and rude only towards men. But he is extremally friendly towards women. Fanfic writers forget about it a lot and write stories where Romano is rude to a female reader. Himaruya also mentioned that Romano protects women from the bad guys. It probably comes from the fact that male countries had always wanted to lay their hands on him and they were usually the ones who wanted to get rid of him.

It is also good to mention that he is even more of a coward than his brother, Feliciano. The only times he isn’t like it are the moments where he defends women in trouble. He is really confident when put in this situation.

It may also be surprising but as I read in 2011 Christmas Event, he is shown to be somewhat a hard worker even though he used to be lazier before it. Even Germany and Prussia complimented him.

It is also very surprising that Romano gets along with America very well.

He’s picky about his food (he won’t eat anything foreign, especially cheese or potatoes)

In Just 2 Minutes You Can Grasp the Exterior of the European Economy, Romano is shown to hate his mafia. They really influenced his character and may have ruined his view of the world. And due to him being a coward, he doesn’t usually talks badly about mafia.

He basically acts like “I don’t fucking care what you think.

A very important thing is also the fact that he is jealous of his brother. Because Romano was always in the shadow of Veneziano. It is especially show in strips with Chibi!Romano and Boss Spain. Romano thinks he lacks talent and is much worse than Vene.

Also, Romano’s clumsiness comes from his choreia. He had it as a child but Spain helped him overcome it.

Good luck!

@imaginehetaliadorks I love you, darling that is so perfect! Thank you, I hope that now I can write imagines for Romano

anonymous asked:

How would Romano, England, Romania, and Spain feel about dating an artist?

Romano: He loves art. Maybe he’s not as talented as his brother, but he loves to look at it. Therefore, he’d love to date an artist.

England: He likes art - even though he himself is more focused on literature, but I mean, theoretically a poet is an artist. He’d encourage them and everything, so he’d be happy to date an artist.

Romania: Even though his country isn’t necessarily known for art, he has a great interest in it. He’d love to observe them working on their art, so he’d think dating an artist is interesting.

Spain: Very similar to Romano, he loves art - he has a Thing for paintings of landscapes, for some reason. But he loves art in general, so he’d LOVE to date an artist.

Introverted Feeling (Fi): Russia’s usually pretty emotionally reserved, and yet frequently acts on his own inner feelings. He’s quick to express his opinion/personal feelings on just about anything. He’s really interested in determining the value of something, usually based on his personal connection to it or summation of worth. He desperately wants friends and companionship, and is constantly having his emotions stepped on. He’s often self-conscious of his reputation and wants to save face. His Fi is also pretty negative in many ways, manifesting in ignoring the needs of those around him and simply doing what he wants, regardless. Nonetheless, at is best he’s very affectionate, even-tempered and surprisingly friendly. According to the notes, he’s reserved around those he doesn’t consider friends, but as he considers everyone his friend, this isn’t seen as much in-series.

Extroverted Intuition (Ne): He gets some strong enjoyment out of imagining what will happen in the future, about what could be rather than what is. He’s quick to question, to see alternative possibilities (“What are you going to be doing, America?”); he’s often analyzing the events going on around him, asking ‘why is this happening’. He’s often not particularly observant of what’s going on around him, living more in his own world of imagination and plans. While he does consider the future, he doesn’t make many concrete plans or act on them.

Introverted Sensing (Si): He seeks to follow the most reliable, tried-and-true method of getting things done; he calls into France’s radio show in order to figure out how to make friends. He wears the scarf Ukraine gave him as a child at all times do to the memories attached to it. He frequently compares things to how they were before, looking over history to form some kind of conclusion. He usually looks to flashbacks to try and figure out how he got to where he is now, and his memories may be rather subjective at times.

Extroverted Thinking (Te): Russia likes to be in control, to have things organized and laid out. He usually employs pretty straight-forward methods to achieve his goals and get what he wants. He can be demanding and authoritative when dealing with others. He’ll often take the quick and easy road to fix some problem (i.e. ripping off Latvia’s head to make him stop shaking, jumping without a parachute because there’s snow.)

NOTE: Russia’s pretty difficult to type, since most of his functions tend to express themselves in negative ways, and a lot of negative/scary behaviors aren’t really identifiable with any one function. Hopefully I got as close as I could for now.

Could i request Turkey and his sister cuddling scenario? Thanks!

Young men’s sacrifice

Some day, in 1915

She watched her brother enter the house. He looked tense. “Is something wrong, Sadiq?” He laughed: “No, no of course not!” “You’re a talented liar, but I’m your sister. What is wrong?”
‘Should I tell her..?’
“Remember that there’s this big, huge war waging?” He asked. “Of Course, it’s all that People talk about. What happened, brother?” “It’s… different to any war I’ve ever seen. Listen, the English landed in Gallipoli. Their people are dying, but so are ours.” He sat down next to her and buried his face in his hands: “For every meter, ten lives are lost. It’s senseless, really. Mostly, their just Boys with guns.. they’re no soldiers. All you hear is boys calling for their mother.” His sister took his hand: “It’s not your fault humanity wages war.” Her voice shook. Turkey hugged her tightly: “Don’t always search for someone to blame. We all are. A war isn’t started by one alone. When I saw These Boys dead in front of me, there weren’t foes. They were boys. That’s the truth of war” “…Will we win?” She asked quietly. “The campain, most likely. The war? The war was lost when it started.” They sat there, quietly, hugging each other. Knowing that their people will have to pay the price for every mile they hold.

While rummaging through a box he found in the attic, England uncovers some old photos, along with old memories.

(These took so long to make, I hope you guys like them! I was trying to put subtle stuff in the photos to try and tell a story, I’ve never done it before so it was good practice! I might end up writing something for this if I decide to stop being lazy.)
