Allah Subhana Wa Taala says in Surah Taha, Ayat 81; “ Eat and drink, but avoid excess”
From an Islamic perspective health is viewed as one of the greatest blessings that God has bestowed on mankind. It should be noted that the greatest blessing after belief is health, as narrated in the following Hadith:
The final messenger of God, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) mounted the pulpit, then wept and said, “Ask Allah (SWT) for forgiveness and health, for after being granted certainty, one is given nothing better than health.” Related in Tirmidhi
Health is indeed a favour that we take for granted. We should express gratitude to God for bestowing us with health, and we should try are up most to look after it. God has entrusted us with our bodies for a predestined period of time. He will hold us to account on how we looked after and utilised our bodies and good health.
Let us all stay healthy for the sake of Allah <3

And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], “uff,” and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, “My Lord, have mercy upon them as they brought me up when I was small." Your Lord is most knowing of what is within yourselves. If you should be righteous [in intention] - then indeed He is ever, to the often returning [to Him], Forgiving.
All praise is due to Allah for keeping us healthy, and allowing us the see the month of Ramadan. May He keep us in good health throughout this month, accept our fasts, and all our forms of worship towards Him. May He also help us utilise the blessings of this month and inshaAllah we become better muslims, even after Ramadan.
Please remember all our Brothers and Sisters who are suffering around the world in your dua’s and remember to take some time to help them in whatever way you can. Donate for the sake of Allah, whether it be from your pockets or your time.
I pray Allah helps us to increase our acts of ibadah this month, and helps us become closer towards Him.
‘I am with my slave when he thinks of Me and I am with him when he mentions Me. For if he mentions Me to himself, I mention him to Myself; and if he mentions Me in a gathering, I mention him in superior gathering. If he approaches Me by a hand’s width, I approach him by an arm’s length, I approach him by two arms length. And if he comes to me walking, I hasten to him swiftly.’
O you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah, witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is Aware of what you do. ~ Surat Al-Mā’idah, Verse 8
