It’s not extremely rare for cis guys to be under 5′4. The average male height in the US is only 5′9. One of my best friend’s dad’s is 5′4 and no one questions him, one of my other friends is 5′3, cis guy, he’s just short. One of my co workers is 5′2—no one ever bothered him.

Some guys are small. If you room with a cis guy and he gives you crap about being small I would be like hey, my parents aren’t that tall, some guys are short, get over it.

Some guys are 5′1, it’s totally okay. I’m barely 5′6, I wear risers in my shoes too that make me about 5′8-5′9 if I really want to be. If they question you be like Tom Cruise wears risers in his shoes, I can do whatever the fuck I want.

If girls can wear heels, men can wear heels or risers too.

I also encourage people to be open with their roommates, you don’t want to feel like you are hiding a huge part of your life from someone you are living with and you don’t want to live with transphobic people so find out before and avoid a problematic and possible dangerous situation before it starts.
