Healing Chakra Imbalances

10 Crystals For Empaths

Crystals have been used for thousands of years to protect and enhance personal energy. They have the ability to focus energy and generate minute electrical currents that interact with the currents in the human body and environment. Crystals are an amazing way to cleanse, amplify, and protect one’s energy.

As a highly sensitive empath, I absorb energy from everything. Not only am I affected by the emotions and attitudes of other people, but I’m extremely sensitive to things like geopathic stress and electromagnetic stress. This often leads to exhaustion, irritability, and overwhelm.

Geopathic stress: Stress created by electromagnetic radiation, ley lines, and underground water. It’s also present in “sick building syndrome”. Injurious to health, it can affect the immune system as well as the body’s innate psychic protection and may attract ghosts or hold impressions of previous events.

Electromagnetic stress: Disharmony caused by the subtle emanations of electrical, microwave, computer, phone and radio frequencies, as well as power lines.

The following list features 10 of my favorite crystals that have been the most beneficial in managing sensitivities and raising my vibration:

Labradorite

Known as one of the most protective stones, labradorite creates an interface around the aura that filters out energies that are not beneficial and enhances spiritual connection. It allows one to be aware of other’s feelings and emotions without being overwhelmed by them. Labradorite enhances physic abilities, aligns physical and subtle bodies, and strengthens the aura.

Tip: If you’re prone to nightmares and restless sleep, try holding a labradorite palm stone at bedtime. I sleep with one every night and it has helped me immensely. Just remember to cleanse it in-between uses!

Stones with similar vibrational qualities: rainbow moonstone, black moonstone, spectrolite

Celestine

Also known as celestite, this high vibrational stone links one to higher realms and stimulates spiritual insights. It facilitates inner peace, helps to disperse anxieties and calm the emotions while promoting clarity of mind. This beautiful crystal heals the aura, assists in conflict resolution, and helps maintain a harmonious atmosphere in times of stress.

Tip: Try meditating with one of these stones and record any insights you might have in a journal afterwards. I’ve been amazed at some of the profound breakthroughs I’ve had while spending time with this amazing crystal.

Stones with similar vibrational qualities: blue lace agate, angelite, phantom quartz, apophyllite

Lithium Quartz

This variety of quartz is a natural antidepressant. Its powerful healing energies gently lift the conditions underlying the depression to the surface, neutralizing ancient anger and grief. It can reach back into past lives to dissolve the roots of emotional dis-ease that is pervading the present life. Lithium quartz is an excellent cleanser for the body’s energy centers and is extremely useful as a healer for plants and animals.

Tip: If feeling lethargic or low on energy, carry a small lithium quartz point with you in your pocket. Lithium quartz can function like an emotional battery for those that are sensitive to the vibration of this stone.

Stones with similar vibrational qualities: quartz with hematite, elestial quartz, vanadinite, zeolite

Black Tourmaline

Black tourmaline, also known as schorl; protects agains cell phones, electromagnetic smog, radiation, ill wishing, and negative energies of all kinds. Black tourmaline is the most effective block to psychic attack and is extremely efficient at absorbing negative energy. It helps one adopt a positive attitude regardless of the circumstances.

Tip: Black tourmaline is super effective as a gem elixir that can be added to cleansing sprays and used to purify the aura.

Stones with similar vibrational qualities: shungite, black kyanite, jet, tourmalinated quartz

Rose Quartz

Known as the stone of unconditional love and forgiveness, gentle rose quartz opens the heart and transforms negative emotions into positive ones. It’s an excellent stone to use during crisis or trauma, as it quickly brings peace. It transmutes negative emotional conditioning and supports positive affirmations. It purifies and opens the heart at all levels and brings deep inner healing and self-love.

Tip: Wear a rose quartz pendant over your heart to promote self-love, tranquility, and emotional healing.

Stones with similar vibrational qualities: rhodochrosite, pink danburite, rhodonite, pink petalite, pink kunzite

Fluorite

A strongly protective stone, especially against electromagnetic and geopathic pollution, as well as psychic attack. Fluorite stabilizes energy and shuts off mental manipulation. This stone cleanses and stabilizes the aura. Fluorite grounds and integrates spiritual energies and assists in dissolving illusions and negative mental patterning. Emotionally, fluorite has a grounding effect.

Tip: Place a piece of fluorite on a computer or between yourself and the source of electromagnetic fog.

Stones with similar vibrational qualities: amazonite, green aventurine, bloodstone

Smoky Quartz

Smoky quartz is one of the most efficient grounding and anchoring stones. It helps alleviate fears, soothes an active mind, and promotes emotional calmness. This protective stone gently neutralizes negative vibrations, absorbs electromagnetic smog, and blocks geopathic stress. Smoky quartz is a powerful antidote to stress and assists in tolerating difficult times while bringing in positive energy.

Tip: To dispel stress, place a stone in each hand and sit quietly for a few moments. Cleanse the stones thoroughly between uses.

Stones with similar vibrational qualities: hematite, smoky elestial quartz, apache tear obsidian

Amethyst

Amethyst is an extremely powerful and protective stone with a high vibration. It guards against psychic attack, transmuting energy into love. A natural tranquilizer, amethyst blocks against geopathic stress and negative environmental energies. Its serenity enhances higher states of consciousness. Amethyst has strong healing and cleansing powers, and enhances spiritual awareness.

Tip: Place a cleansed amethyst point towards you to draw in positive energy, and point one away from you to dispel negative energy.

Stones with similar vibrational qualities: ametrine, lepidolite, rutilated quartz, lilac kunzite, purple fluorite

Selenite

Selenite is a high vibrational stone that is said to occupy the space between light and matter. It’s an excellent crystal for repairing and re-energizing the aura. Selenite is a calming stone that instils deep peace and is excellent for spiritual work and meditation. Selenite does not allow outside influences to penetrate. A large piece within the house promotes a peaceful atmosphere.

Tip: Place other crystals, talismans, and pendants on a piece of selenite overnight for cleansing.

Stones with similar vibrational qualities: dessert rose selenite, peach moonstone, himalayan rock salt

Carnelian

An excellent stone for grounding one in present reality, carnelian is one of the oldest known healing stones. It energizes and restores vitality to the immune system. Carnelian promotes positive life choices and immense motivation, and assists one in trusting perceptions. This is a useful stone for overcoming negative emotional or mental conditioning. It calms anger and assists in banishing emotional negativity, while sharpening concentration. Mentally, carnelian improves analytic abilities and clarifies perception.

Tip: Carnelian placed near the front door of a home invokes protection and invites abundance.

Stones with similar vibrational qualities: citrine, tigers eye, golden calcite,  orang-brown selenite, amber

I hope you find these crystals as beneficial as I do. Enjoy!

CRYSTAL GRIMOIRE: PART 2 💎💎💎💎

The latest set of pages in my crystal grimoire! I decided to make a new post as if I kept adding to the first one it will end up way too long by the time I’m done. I still have lots more to do and I’m always adding to my collection so maybe I’ll never be done 😁

Crystal Sachet for Money

Looking to bring abundance, wealth, and prosperity into your life? Considering making a crystal sachet for money!

What you’ll need:

  • Green Aventurine
  • Citrine
  • Blue Apatite
  • Coins (or bills)
  • Moon water (optional)
  • A small pouch or bag (even a ziploc bag will work)

Green Aventurine attracts luck, success, and abundance. It also helps you focus and find creative solutions, which could be useful for helping you find ways to spend less or to make more money.

Citrine is known as the Success Stone, and is wonderful for acquiring and maintaining wealth. It’s a great stone for sales people to have.

Blue Apatite is the stone of manifestation and results. It also brings harmony which can reduce any frustrations you have about your current financial situation.

After asking and thanking your crystals for their help, place them and your coins/bills in a small bag. The coins or bills are symbolic of what you want to come into your life. Keep the bag in your wallet, purse or pocket. Keeping it in your purse or wallet is very effective in helping you to refrain from spending money, as it reminds you of your goals each time you go to grab cash or your credit card to buy something (especially if it’s something silly you don’t really need).

If you feel the sachet isn’t working after a couple weeks, recharge it and really focus on your intention. It may not be that you win $1,000 on a lottery ticket, but perhaps you think of an idea to make money, or you work on creating a budget for yourself/your family, or you start clipping coupons, or a number of other ideas start to come to you on how to attract or keep money. The magic is inside of you, not just the crystals 😉

Charms & Talismans (II)

For Luck

  • Butterfly charms - They are considered to be omens of luck. The gentle fluttering of a butterfly is good fortune. It is a symbol of freedom and perfection in nature. Just as a butterfly is not born, but is metamorphosised into a perfectly symmetrical creature, one’s ill fate can be transformed into good fortune. Butterflies have been associated with wandering, free souls in many different cultures.
  • Acorn - It is said to be an emblem of luck, and is believed to give the gift of youth to the wearer.
  • Astrological talismans - These type of talismans are usually very effective when prescribed according to the specifics of one’s horoscope. It corresponds to a favourably or unfavourably placed planet in the horoscope of the concerned person, and can be acquired to either strengthen or reduce that planet’s effects
  • Feathers - An ancient charm for luck and represents the journey of the soul to the other realm.

  • Cord charms - Intended to decay, they are put around a child’s wrist or neck, and by the time they wear off, the child is said to be old enough to withstand the “eye”.
  • Rabbit foot - The left hind foot of a rabbit is considered lucky, and the bearer has to rub it to activate the luck. In some sources, it is also said to be good for protection magic, in addition to bringing good fortune.
  • Mano Cornuto - “mano” meaning “hand” and “cornuto” meaning “horn”, the charm represents a hand gesture in which the index and little fingers are extended while the middle and ring fingers are curled into the palm. The reference is to the horned head of an animal. It is used for magical protection against the evil eye.
  • Abracadabra - Created in biblical times for the benefit and well-being of all humankind by the elite holy men known to history as the Magiits proven ability to compel negative situations to diminish and vanish is legendary.

Anatomy of a spell

When it comes down to spellcasting, I’ve seen a vast number of ways. There are as many types of witchcraft as there are witches, and there are twice as many ways to cast a spell as there are types of witchcraft. Which means a lot.

So when I wanted to write it down into my Book, I knew I had to find some common ground. I am not going to write a book on it, I just want a note in my journal! That is how I came down to the very basics behind building spells, the very fundaments, the bare bones. The anatomy of a spell.

It does not only help those who write their own spells, but also those who use shared spells - you will be able to know exactly what to expect, what you can alter, and most importantly, how to alter it so it meets your needs.

Because a spell is made out of three things: the what, the how and the who.

What you need to figure out before even starting to think about a spell is what you need it for. Just a “prosperity spell” doesn’t mean too much, does it? Yes, you can make general spells, but the more general it is, the more fuzzy the effect will be.

The what is the intent, and it will determine the ingredients. That’s where correspondences come in, because correspondences are like spirit pictograms, metaphysical sign language. By pulling out cinnamon, basil and pennies, you’re telling the world “I’m going to be talking about prosperity, wealth and success here”. Be mindful that many ingredients have a certain feel next to their correspondence. Both black pepper and eggshells are corresponding with protection, but black pepper is also used in banishings and energy spells - it’s more of a “I’m punching you so go away” protection, while eggshells are more like saying “stay away”. Keep in mind what exactly  you want the world to hear when you communicate in witch-speak.

Then you need to know how you want it to happen. What is it that needs to be done, what kind of spell it’s gonna be. “Prosperity spell” usually means “dragging in prosperity”, but you could also drive prosperity away and the “what” of the spell would still be prosperity.

That’s where you choose how you’re going to speak about things, because just as a question mark at the end of a sentence and intonation can make or break communication (”You’re sure.” vs “You’re sure?”) , so can the way you deal with a spell. Here’s some witchy punctation I’ve gathered so far:

  • candles-> invoking, releasing (activating/setting free), banishing
  • jars-> containing/restraining, prolonging and keeping, attracting continuoesly (better for things that run out and you need to replenish them)
  • charms/enchantments-> invoking, conjuring, keeping (better as gifts, because portable)
  • sigils-> marking as/with, attracting, invoking
  • knots-> binding and uncrossing, attracting and keeping (better for things that are stable and don’t need ‘recharging’)
  • potions/oils-> (type of charm, really)  invoking, conjuring, keeping

Then there is the who, meaning the target. usually spells are either general in target (to whoever stumbles upon the spell), personal, or targeted - that’s where taglocks like poppets, photos or belongings.

So, back to the example I made. After re-inspecting, it’s not a “prosperity spell” that I need, it’s a “spell to attract money to my home". You choose a jar spell, because you need to attract and keep attracting, because money runs out, and gather the proper ingredients: pennies, green aventurine and some cedar. The spell will be in your home, so no need for a taglock. But how do you put it together now?

Actions that make a spell out of all the parts are also important, because they’re the tonation of the witch speak, and they go hand-in-hand with the type of the spell.

  • To ADD what you speak of-> carve, bathe in, mix, rub, fill
  • To REMOVE-> cut, rip, burn, throw away, sweep
  • To KEEP-> bury, hide, seal, burn (activate), use as intended

So since I want to “ADD AND KEEP” money in my house, I can mix the ingredients, fill the jar with the ingredients, and then seal it and hide in a cabinet. Or I could anoint a candle with cedar oil (rub) and carve a prosperity sigil on it, then burn it to activate the intention, then bury the remains in my yard (keep). Or maybe I could make a potion out of the ingredients (mix), and then drink it (use as intended).

Doesn’t this make spell-writing hella easier? Because for me, getting a crash-course in witch-speak explained a couple things.
