Autoptic partners with ChiFouMi for 2015!

Autoptic is pleased to announce its continued partnership with Association ChiFouMi in 2015. ChiFouMi is France’s premier association dedicated to the promotion, propagation and inspiration of new comics forms. It is the driving force behind the experimental collaborative comics residency Pierre Feuille Ciseaux (PFC) held semi-annually in France and the US since 2009. In partnership with Autoptic and the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) ChiFouMi will bring the 5th official iteration of the PFC residency – along with 20 internationally recognized artists and authors – back to Minneapolis to work together in structured, experimental collaboration for ten days leading up to Autoptic on August 8th and 9th. Autoptic wouldn’t be nearly as awesome as it is without this partnership. We couldn’t be happier to be working with them for a second time.

We will be releasing the names of participating audience next week, so stay tuned!

The mad dash to AUTOPTIC begins! If you’re planning on bringing new material to the show, we’d like to feature what you’re debuting at Autoptic on our Tumblr and Twitter feed.

If you’re debuting something (or multiple somethings), please send a description of the debut (title, summary, price - etc.) for each and any images you’d like featured to

Books, comics, prints, experimental felting projects… anything you’ll have at your table you’d like to promote! We will do our best to feature debuts as they are sent in up until the day of the show, for any last-minute projects.

Thanks, and looking forward to seeing you at the show!
