Here’s just a few of the highlights from my tour of the Lingenfelter Collection near Detroit last weekend. It’s a really interesting and diverse collection, with a ton of unique, rare, and historically significant cars. Checking a Vector and a Lamborghini Reventon off my “cars to point a camera at” list felt like an accmplishment. They open things up a few times a year for charity events, but ordinarily this is a closed collection. And of course, the cars outside made for a nice little separate show.
This is one of the most extreme custom Corvettes I’ve ever seen. Suspension components are sourced from Corvette C7.R parts and the aftermarket, and a monstrously tuned 427 provides the motivation. It’s a great example of pro-touring style custom muscle.
