Lyrics

Sweep Me Off My Feet
Hey, you, I’m not bold or cool or masculine,
Maybe you’re just waiting for the perfect Latin lover to walk in,
I’m not him.
Between my penis and my chin is Camembert and shame,
I used to be elegantly thin, I’m sorry babe, we both missed that train,
Oh, no, if I follow you all your girlfriends will know,
then i’ll wind up with the other fools waiting,
wasting his time following you ‘round,
another lonely guy with longing in his eye,
but you said your man was bringing you down.

Someone sweep me off my feet,
i am not an angel, i’m barely a man,
I’m lonely but I’m here,
Baby, understand,
Someone sweep me off my feet.

It was a big night for LGBTQ awareness at this year’s ARIA Awards

Troye Sivan dedicated his first ARIA win for Song Of The Year to “every LGBTQ kid in Australia”.

Sivan, renowned for his efforts to represent LGBTQ relationships in his music videos, used the stage to instil hope in the country’s LGBTQ youth.

Sia, who took home Best Female Artist of the Year, nominated Australian Marriage Equality Campaign Ambassador Angie Greene to accept the award on her behalf.

“This award is for every single non-hetero and gender diverse person who can currently not marry the person that they love in this country,” Greene said.

Greene also urged Australia to take a step in the right direction, “You have the opportunity now to not just do a great thing but to do the right thing”.

After Greene accepted the award, the campaign’s founder, Joshua Sasse and fiancé Kylie Minogue took to the stage, also wearing Say I Do Down Under shirts.

“This is more than just a movement, this is people’s lives and we want to say to every single member of the LGBT community: ‘You are not alone. You have a voice’,” the British actor told the crowd.

I was held in chains but now I’m free
I’m hanging in there, don’t you see
In this process of elimination

I’m living with all these Space Australia Tags. So there’s a few music posts about Aliens and their reactions to many human customs and cultures. But music is just such a broad subject???

Like when we’re sad we listen to sad music which only makes our emotions worse and get a good cry out.

When we’re happy, we listen to upbeat songs or even party songs.

When we relax, maybe some soothing music helps you out!

That being said, I’m sure at least some of you has a song that turns you into a hoe. *CoughToxicbyBritneyCough* bc let’s be real there’s always one song that makes you drop it like its hot. Now, stay with me here.

Imagine being on a space craft that typically has soft music but one day they decided to change it up! It’s most been some throwbacks and new ones and the humans are just in general happier. And a happy human is a happy crew. So, just picture this scenario-

A normal cycle, everyone’s working and suddenly Crazy In Love by Beyonce comes on and at least 3 humans go to dancing and my god I didn’t know bodies could go that low and whATS WITH THAT HIP SHAKING?!

*cue flustered aliens by probable mating dancing?!*

Please add some more I suck at stories 😂

Hi! I am an aspiring artist and writer and am currently undertaking year 12. I have wanted to look for a pen pal for a while and it would be lovely to have someone with similar interest as me, which would be literature and studying, I know, what a nerd. I am hoping to become an English teacher for secondary students later on in life and possibly taking up Psychology. I also love music, opera to rock, to pop music. It would be lovely to find someone.

Preferences: I don’t really have any preferences, anyone’s fine really!
