Another find today was a “used” but new in the box Audio Technica ATR6550 shotgun mic. This won’t compete with a $1500 Rode, but for $40 in trade credit, you definitely cannot beat it! Besides, you can never go wrong with a shotgun mic for not just video production, but for live sound as well. And, cheap and chipper shotgun mic in the hands of an experienced engineer or designer can help a TON in field recording
