Easy Brownie Bottom Cheesecake

I love cheesecakes, and brownies, and I threw them both together in this recipe! Enjoy, xox.

 This is what you need:
- 1 Box Brownie mix [or your favorite brownie recipe from scratch!]
- 500g Cream Cheese [two boxes of most brands]
-2/3 cup of sugar
-3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla
-100g of vanilla or plain yogurt [I used vanilla Activia, Greek yogurt also works well!]

This is what you do:

Preheat the oven to 350.
First, prepare your brownie base. I used Duncan Hines Fudge brownie mix. Pour this into your springform pan, bake for about twenty to twenty-five  minutes.

Beat your cream cheese, sugar, eggs, vanilla and yogurt at medium speed. Pour mixture over brownie base and return the cake to the oven, baking for another fifty minutes, or until set.

Remove cake from the oven and let cool completely before removing from springform pan.

For the drizzle:

Melt half a cup of chocolate chips. You can do this on a stove top or in the microwave, whichever way you prefer.  Add a few drops of vegetable or cooking oil if the melted chocolate is too thick. Spoon into an icing bag and drizzle over the cake.
Or: if you have plastic baggies, spoon chocolate into one, and cut the tip of one side. Twist like you would with an icing bag to move the chocolate to the clipped end, and drizzle this way. (I thought I had an icing bag, but it happened to be broken, so I had to improvise this way!)
