Title: Sweet Treats, Now Gimme The Deets Fandom: Endless Summer Prompt: For the anon who requested “This is girl talk, so leave” (JakexMC) from @choicesimaginesandmore! (I hope this satisfies your request! I had a lot of fun writing it 💖) Word Count: 1282
Summary: Quinn, Michelle, and M/C didn’t know it would lead to this, but somehow a plate of desserts got M/C accidentally sharing her potential interests in a certain pilot.
The sun sets, painting the mysterious
atmosphere of La Huerta glorious shades of purples, pinks, and oranges. A cool breeze sweeps through the abandoned
Celestial, which has recently been taken over by ten college kids, an
oh-so-optimistic tour guide, and a disgruntled pilot. Another day has passed since they’ve landed
on the island, and they have yet to discover any new leads. As the days go by, they grow more tired. Determined,
but still tired.
It’s important to treat yourself after
a long day’s work. Thus, the entire gang
has chosen to hang by the pool – whether they be sipping a beer by the hot tub,
playing water games in the pool, chatting by the bar or lounge chairs, they’re
all having fun forgetting the situation they’re stuck in. They were all enjoying the outdoors, all
“Tell me about it.”
Seated together in the hotel’s
restaurant is you, Quinn, and Michelle, murdering the plate of chocolate-coated
strawberries in front of you that Quinn found in the kitchen. “This is the best thing that has happened to
me since we landed here. Thank you, Quinn,” Michelle moans
through the strawberry she stuffs in her mouth.
“Of course! Everyone can use a little
something sweet.” The redhead says giddily.
“Seriously, though – mmph, these are so good – If I were to die on this
island, I could die happy now.” You join the others in devouring the
“Desserts always make me happy,” Quinn
continues, “I think it’s the best way to treat yourself after a long day of
Michelle gulps down her food quickly,
so she can open her mouth to speak. “I
know that feeling,” She points at Quinn, referring to what she said. “When I spent countless nights applying for
med schools, Sean would occasionally stop by my house with these mini macaroons,
and we’d eat them together while we caught up with each other days.” Her eyes gleam with reminiscence as her mind
wanders off to the memory of her ex-love.
Quinn clears her throat. “How are
you feeling since the breakup, Michelle?
That is – if you don’t mind me asking.
I know it must be hard.”
Michelle’s blonde hair bounces on her
shoulder and she leans back on her seat.
She sighs deeply, and closes her eyes for a short moment. “It still hurts,” She mumbles wearily, “I
regret how it ended, everyday. But –“ She sighs again, this time to clear her
thoughts, “I did what I did. And I have
to face the consequences. Which…is why I
shouldn’t be stopping him – indirectly - from pursuing other people.”
Her eyes shift to you. You return her eye contact for a bit, not
knowing why she’s looking at you that way. Then it hits you.
Um, thanks Michelle.” You give
her a small smile. “But, I’m not
interested in Sean.”
“You’re not?” She raises her eyebrows as you shake your
head, a little surprised.
Quinn pipes up, “I bet I know who M/C likes,” She beams. “It’s the pilot, isn’t it?”
“Quinn, I do not…”
Now you’re beaming back. You don’t want
to admit to your new friends that you’re developing a little crush on Jake
McKenzie, but you don’t want to lie to them either. The thought of being near him, talking to
him, exchanging quick glances with each other, makes your heart flutter.
“Ohmigod, M/C’s totally trying not
to blush right now. Is it Jake?” Michelle lights up excitedly, “It’s Jake,
The three of you spin around to see
the man of the hour, scruffy five’o’clock shadow and all, strolling over to
your table. His dog tags bounce off his
chest each step he takes. “Speak of the
devil…” You mutter underneath your breath.
“Hi Jake,” Quinn gestures to the plate
on the table. “Chocolate-dipped
“Don’t mind if I do,” Jake snatches
one from the platter and pops it in his mouth with no hesitation. “You never answered my question. What’s Jake?”
“Oh, nothing. We were just talking about you.” Michelle
answers coyly. You suppress the urge to
shoot her a look.
“I don’t blame you, there’s plenty
about me to talk about,” The pilot smirks.
“Anyway, I was just wondering if I could steal Princess here for a walk
around the hotel.”
“What makes you think I want to go on
a walk with you?” You raise your eyebrows in retort.
“What makes me think you don’t?”
Jake’s grinning at you, and you can’t
help but grin back. “Touché,” You mindlessly lick your lips. “I’ll join you in a bit. Meet you on the
“Cool.” He’s about to walk away, but
notices the side-eyes and smirks Quinn and Michelle are secretly throwing each
“…Am I interrupting
something? It looks like Pippi and
Maybelline here are trying to eye-fuck each other.”
“We’re not the only ones eye-fucking
each other on the island,” Michelle teases, which she in return gets a giggle
from Quinn, and a nudge from you underneath the table.
“Oh yeah? Care to share the deets?” Jake raises his eyebrows in amusement and
reaches for another strawberry. “This is
one of the calmer days on this island.
If one of you kids is pining over someone, now’s the time to fill me
Quinn shoots you a quick glance,
before resting her head on her hand and smiling innocently at Jake. “We’ll tell you later.”
“Why not now?”
we’re in the middle of Girl Talk™, and somebody
is invading our sesh.” You smile at
the pilot smugly. “So, Jake, this is the part where you leave.”
Jake lets out a little snort and
playfully raises his hands up in defense.
“Alright, alright,” He announces as he takes a few steps
back. He makes eye contact with you, a
look of determination and expectancy. “Meet
you on the benches, Princess.”
As soon as he strides away, you snap
your head back to Michelle and Quinn, who are both biting their lips and raising
their eyebrows at you. “I hate you
both,” You say teasingly. Quinn tries to
stifle a giggle, and you shoot her a look.
“He wants to ravish you so bad.” She responds giddily.
“Oh my god,” You roll your eyes in
denial, but can’t help to smirk at the whole situation that just went
“Oh, he so does,” Michelle sips her glass of water slyly, “And you should
go for it too. Sex with older men is
usually great – and Jake looks like someone who would definitely have you
quivering and moaning so loud the entire hall can – “
“I – okay. This is my cue to leave.” You feel your face growing hot and gently push
yourself up from you seat, “Great talk you guys - but - I have walking duties to
duties,” Quinn airquotes and winks at you.
“Walking duties – without the
You glance at the two of them amusingly - and they return the same look -
once more before turning around. “I’m
gonna go.” You declare and strut away.
“See you later!”
“Make good decisions, M/C!” Quinn chirps. Their giggles grow more faint the
further you walk away from them, and closer to the pilot.
You don’t know this
yet, but that moment of bonding between the three of you will last in your
memories for a lifetime.
“Hey, Princess,” Jake calls out as he
sees you walking out of the Celestial. “You
gonna fill me in on who’s been mentally stripping the other off?”
“Oh, you haven’t noticed?” You tease, “Sean’s been giving you the look ever since we hopped off your plane.”
Jake looks dumbfounded for a
second. “I hope to god you’re joking.”
The last of the LFT lots: The Plaza! I was running low on inspiration for this one so it’s a little basic, haha. Visiting sims can play basketball, chess, breakdance, drink coffee, or just soak up the atmosphere.
With that, La Fiesta Tech is complete! I’ll be continuing the refurbishment of SSU later.
The early morning atmosphere of the LA airport was quiet, and not nearly as busy as it had been when when we arrived. It’s nearing 6:30 in the morning as the boys walk with me to my gate. I’ll be leaving a good two hours before them, my bag along with Tai have already been loaded on the belt to be put on the plane.
I hold Mark’s hand as we walk, and Bam Bam is on he other side of me with the rest of the boys around us. It’s quiet, like the airport. It seems as if it’s too early to hold any proper conversation and I don’t want this moment to end. The last week has been so wonderful… Even though Bam Bam seems to know just how to grate my nerves, I will miss him tremendously. And Mark… I hate having to say goodbye to him, especially now that we just got together. I’ll miss the rest of the boys, too…
We stop at my gate. There’s ten minutes until it closes so I don’t have all the time in the world. I glance around at the boys with a sad expression, and Mark let’s go of my hand as Yugyeom steps up to hug me.
“I’m glad you got to come,” he tells me.
I laugh, hugging him back. “Me too. Thanks for playing with me, I had a lot of fun.”
“Me too!” He grins as he leans back. “Make sure to change my name in your phone!” He winks to me.
Youngjae hugs me next, promising to send me updated photos of Coco. Jinyoung is after him, and he promises me that he’ll keep Bam Bam in line while I’m not there. Jaebum steps up next, a huge grin on his face and I have a feeling that he’s going to tease me, but instead he just says, “have a nice flight, Little Sis.” Jackson is crying dramatically by the time he hugs me. He has me in a tight grip and rocks us back and forth.
“Jacks,” I manage to wheeze out with a laugh. “You’re hugging me too tight!”
“I’m going to miss you so much!” He cries even more dramatically. “I’ll make sure to keep sending you embarrassing pics of Bam Bam,” he whispers in my ear before leaning back and kissing my cheek.
I turn to Bam Bam, who seems to be pouting and hold out my arms to him. “Come on, Bam Bam,” I grin at him.
He sighs before hugging me tightly. “I’m gonna miss you, Pebbles.”
“I’m going to miss you, too,” I tell him honestly. Being a twin is so strange, I’m not sure if the pain I’m feeling is mine, Bam’s, or both of ours together.
“Make sure you tell Mom that I love her and I’ll call soon,” he tells me. “And you had best call whenever you land, too!” He tells me sternly.
“I will,” I promise with a smile.
We finally depart and then there’s only one left… Mark holds out his hand to me and I take it as I step closer to him. He turns his face and raises his eyebrow and as I follow his gaze I see Jackson standing just a few feet away from us, his eyes wide and a huge grin on his face.
“Do you mind?” Mark asks.
“What?” Jackson just continues to grin as he looks back and forth between us. “Go ahead!”
Bam Bam sighs loudly, and grabs Jackson’s wrists, forcing him to follow the others as they go wait for their gate to open.
I giggle softly as I listen to Jackson whine, but Bam Bam isn’t letting him go and I appreciate that.
“I hope your flight goes well,” Mark tells me.
“Yours too,” I say. “I think you guys will land an hour before I will,” I tell him with a pout. It really wasn’t fair… I was leaving first but they would still land before me.
“Well I like it, that way I’ll be able to take your call when you call me,” he smiles.
I smile back, but I can’t help but feel so sad… “I don’t want to tell you goodbye,” I whisper. After this week with him, I don’t want to be away from him…
“You don’t have to tell me goodbye,” Mark wraps me up in a hug. “You can just tell me, ‘see you later’, because we’ll see each other soon.”
“I hope so…” I mumbled.
“Hey now… we got Skype, and phone calls and texts, there won’t be a day that I’m not talking to you… Plus, I think everyone is suppose to meet up like Christmas like we did that one year.”
I can’t help but beam at that, my excitement growing. Christmas is still a good few months away, but at least I’ll have a date to countdown to.
An announcement rings up above that my gate is about to close and Mark sighs, his grip tightening on me slightly. He kisses me, just as soft as he did the other night but there’s more passion in this one, like he’s trying to make the kiss last until we see each other again.
We pull away with sad smiles and I can feel him watching me as I turn to walk onto my gate. My heart is still thudding from the kiss but it also feels so heavy… Christmas cannot come soon enough…
One Year Later
I giggle as I watch the boys antics on the VLive app. The boys had just started it a few minutes ago, and it was mostly just them being silly. My eyes couldn’t help but focus on Mark as he sits on a chair next to Jaebum and laughs at something Youngjae says. I glance up, happy to see that I’ve made it at the right destination. Taking a deep breath to calm my nerves, I reach up and give the door a few knocks. I can hear the echo of them on the app.
“Who’s here?” Jackson asks.
“Mark Hyung, you answer it,” Bam Bam tells him.
“Why do I have to get it?” Mark mutters and I can’t help but grin. Oh, if only he knew who was on the other side…
“Cause you’re the closes,” Jaebum tells him. “Just get it…”
“Fine,” Mark grumbles, starting to stand up and my stomach starts to knot as he walks closer. Any second now he’ll open the door and I’ll see him for the first time in months!
I hear the doorknob start to move and I put my phone up as I wait… Mark opens the door and it takes him a few seconds to realize it’s me. His eyes widen as his gaps, “Little One…?”
I can hear Bam Bam and Jaebum giggling loudly at everyone’s surprised faces. They were the only ones I told about my arrival.
“Hi!” I raise my hand and wave. “I’m Y/N, and I just moved into an apartment a few blocks down the street. I don’t really know my way around here, would you mind helping me?”
“YOU MOVED HERE?!” Jackson was screeching, squeezing as close as he could beside Mark.
“Yes,” I chuckle, glancing up at Mark. “I live here in Korea now, too… Surprise!”
A huge smile breaks across his face, and it’s just a few seconds later that he has me in his arms. “I’m so happy!”
“I have a feeling that it’s about to get a lot more interesting around here…” Bam Bam told the VLive app with a huge grin.
Yugyeom snickers, “this is gonna be fun…”
“We got to go out now!” Jinyoung announces. “It’s a celebration!”
“Yes,” Mark nods happily, resting his forehead against mine. “We’ve definitely got to celebrate.”
“Here,” Bam Bam gives the phone to Youngjae before he runs to Mark and me and squeezes between us. “I’ve missed you too, Pebs! Did everything get moved in, okay? Sorry I couldn’t come to help.”
“Yep! Everything went smoothly,” I tell Bam. “And you actually kept me moving here a secret, I’m quite surprised,” I tease.
“Hey!” He pouts before throwing an arm around my shoulders as Mark wraps one of his arms around my waists. “Are we going out or not?”
“Yeah, yeah,” Jaebum nods. “Let’s get going.”
“Y/N, I’m so happy you’re here now,” Jackson was bouncing in excitement. “It’s going to be so much fun! We’re going to have so many sleepovers and-”
I can’t help but laugh as Jackson continues to go on in excitement with Yugyeom and Bam Bam cutting in. I lean against Mark as I hear Youngjae laughing as he finished the VLive. “Thanks for hanging out with us. That’s all from us for now. See you next time!”
“You’ll have to show me your apartment soon,” Mark leans down to whisper to me.
I grin up at him, “I say we ditch the guys later on tonight and then I can give you a private tour.”
“I like the sound of that,” he chuckles as we start to leave.
A/N: I just want to say thank you to everyone who followed this series and everyone who enjoyed reading it as much as I did writing it! I’ve had this idea in my head for sometime now, though it was a lot different before I got serious about writing it. Thanks for sticking through to the end with me… I’ll have plenty more stories coming up so I hope to see you guys there too!
The meeting with my label went pretty smoothly, they mostly just wanted to know when I want to start touring and try to convince me to move to either LA or New York, and then I recorded a couple new songs I’ve been working on. They think it would be good for me to be seen going out more and being in the public eye. It’s definitely going to take some getting used to, but I’m excited and I’ll do just about anything to jump start my career. When they mention hooking me up with a celebrity to get the pap’s attention I have to put my foot down. I don’t want to be that girl that is accused of dating someone for their name, especially if that’s exactly what I’m doing. My manager saves the day by claiming I have a real love interest back home that I don’t want to jeopardize. There is a relationship I don’t want to jeopardize, but it’s not back home. I don’t know what’s going to happen with Sebastian, it could end up being nothing. But I’ve been crushing on him for way too long to throw it away because of what my record label thinks would be best for me. I do, however, agree to look deeper into moving out of Wisconsin. It’s going to be really hard to leave my family and my home. But it’s the best thing for my career, and flying back home semi-regularly shouldn’t be a problem.
