A master’s student is assembling an ATmega16 microcontroller based circuit on a breadboard, for initial testing. The circuit will use a 12-bit digital input from an xPC Target machine and covert it to two channels of pulse-width modulated (PWM) signals, which will in turn provide the input for two stepper motors. The motors are controlling the inclination of the base plane on the “ball-on-a-plate” system.
