at least she had a good

Aftermath ~ Huma One-Shot

Uma didn’t know how she ended up back on the shores of the Isle. The barrier kept everything out, nothing goes in and nothing goes out, that’s how she’s always known it. Maybe that’s only the case for the good things, they can’t come in and the bad things, they can’t escape it.

Uma had never had freedom until tonight. She reveled in it! Of course they were ulterior motives but still, it was like nothing she’d ever experienced before. And losing it hurt more than she’d like to admit. Her plan may not have been very well thought out but still. She had failed the other lost kids tonight, not once, but twice.

She was a failure. Defeat was not a feeling she enjoyed.

She lied there, on the black sand of the Isle, sopping wet and out of breath from swimming so hard. Tears burned her eyes but she refused to let them fall.

When she cried, which was rare, she felt weak. Uma hated feeling weak.

Instead she got up and moved to find the clothes she kept stashed behind one of the pillars that held the Isle up. She was in the water way too often to not have back up clothes hidden around here. She slipped the dress off before throwing it back into the sea. Slowly but surely she put on the rest of her captain’s uniform.

She reached for the hat but stopped herself.

It was a captain’s hat. She wondered is she even deserved to wear it anymore. How could she? Knowing that she had led her crew into a battle they didn’t win.

She was stupid to think she could’ve bested Mal at something. She never had been able to beat her before. What made her think that she could now?

Mal managed to have everything Uma ever wanted. She had Auradon and if she wanted, she could have the Isle to.

She was the ‘bad’ girl with a secret heart of gold. The thought of it made Uma sick to her stomach.

Mal was always the best and Uma was left to live in her shadow. No matter how hard she fought, how evil she forced herself to be, how hardened and emotionless she made herself, it was no use.

She couldn’t win.

Mal was Maleficent’s daughter of all.

No one even remembered Ursula’s name.

Anger filled Uma and before she could stop them , the tears started to flow. And they didn’t stop, they just kept coming and coming and Uma felt powerless. She collapsed on the sand as the rush of emotions flew out of her.

Weakness crept up on her like a deadly spider and now that’s all she could feel.

She was weak.

Completely and utterly powerless in this cruel, cruel world.

“There you are Captain, the whole crew’s been looking for you for hour-Uma?”

She froze at the sound of Harry’s voice.

“Uma, are you alright?”

She kept her head down, not responding. She just hoped he take the hint and leave her to wallow in self pity alone.

He didn’t.

“Uma, are you alright?” His tone was stronger this time, accent thicker.

She sighed before looking up at him through red eyes. She expected him to take one look a her, knees buried in the sand, a captain’s hat she didn’t deserve on the ground in front of her, tear streaks on her face and laugh. To call the whole crew over so that they could ridicule her in the most public way possible. To uuse her vulnerability against and then to take her position of power right from under her. Banishing her from the crew.

She expected him  to kick her while she was down, like they had been taught to. People here had to be rotten in order to survive and move up the ladder. That’s what she expected and she was ready for whatever kind of punishment. She deserved it, at least that’s what she thought.

But Harry didn’t, he didn’t even crack a smile at her weakened state. Instead he looked at her, looked through her, his face like stone and eyes full of concern. She watched as he walked towards her and kneeled down.

He reached up and she flinched involuntarily, he stopped for a moment before taking the clip from her hair, undoing the now messy bun, letting her braids fall down her back. He pushed a few stray ones, behind her ear gently.

He looked down before grabbing the hat and placing it on her head.

She was confused, beyond confused actually. Mind racing a thousands thoughts per second as she stare up at him. A small smile crept on to his lips at the sight of her.

“All better now Captain, all better.”

She nodded as he stood up and held his hand out. Hesitantly, as if she was awaiting some kind of sick twist to his kindness, she took it and let him pull her back up.

“Let’s get back to the ship, okay.”

Her eyes widened, she wasn’t ready to face her crew yet. Not like this.

Harry sensed it by the way her hand went rigid against his.

“Don’t worry, the crew’s not there. They’ve probably given up looking for you by now.” He assured her and Uma relaxed.

Together they made their way back to the Lost Revenge, hand in hand.

The ship was a ghost town and Uma was grateful fr that. She didn’t feel like going to the captain’s quarters right now so she made her way up the steps and to the upper deck and sat down. Harry followed.

The one good thing about the Isle was the view it had of the stars. It was beautiful.

They sat in silence for a moment, until Uma spoke up.

“Why are you here Hook? You could’ve ratted me out and took control of the ship and my crew. Why didn’t you?”

Her voice was more fragile then she wanted it to be but she didn’t dwell. Harry had proven she could trust him.

She watched as he took a deep breath, eyes never leaving the stars above.

“Ever since I was a young lad my father has wanted me to be a part of a crew. And now I am, thanks to you. And besides, once my sister’s got their own ships, their own crew, I could see the toll it takes on them. To be a captain and all. It’s hardens them, makes them responsible for others. I know better than to think that I’m cut out for it. But you are Uma.”

He took his eyes off the sky and turned to face her.

“You’re a good a captain, one of the best the Isle has ever known. And so what is one plan didn’t work out, knowing you, they’ll be others. I’m your first mate captain, I’d follow you into the dark if you asked me to.”

Uma smiled and for a moment the world didn’t seem so cruel. Life didn’t suck as much, it was good, in that moment at least.

And so she did something people did in those moments.

She kissed him.

And sure they had kissed before, but not like this. The others were always quick and heated, always during their lonely lustful encounters. Whenever the Isle became too much and they couldn’t take it, when they needed a distraction.

But this wasn’t a distraction.

This was different, this actually meant something. It was soft and gentle.

Probably the most vulnerable either one of them had been in a long time.

They fell asleep in the bed of the captain’s quarters. And no it wasn’t after meaningless sex, in fact they hadn’t had sex. Kissed a few times, talked, stayed together, but no sex.

And somehow tonight, meant more than any of those other nights combined.

Uma didn’t want to sleep alone, and neither did Harry.

They wouldn’t sleep alone for many nights to come.

Rek: “…So when I woke up, I was totally naked ‘cept for a pair of panties stretched over my lekku, my left kidney was missing, and the Nightsister was never heard from again!”

Hes: “Duuude, that’s crazy! I can top it, though—so one time I met this Harch arms dealer on Garel, and man was she handsy. I mean, she had me totally off the ground at one point, with one arm waaay up in my…”

Tales of (mis)adventure and sexploits aside, here’s the final product of a collab I did with the wonderful @rekkingcrew! He sketched these two out, and he was kind enough to let me do the lines and colors! Not only did it all end up looking great, but it was super fun to bring Rek and Hes’ unique brand of competitive vulgarity to life—thanks so much for doing this with me! :D

Presque Vu    Chapter 18

t/w: bondage, chicanery

Raina was a little disappointed that she didn’t hear from Shannon again that week.  She thought he had been lighthearted and joking when he left her Monday night, she thought they had parted on a good note. But when he didn’t call and didn’t respond to the texts she sent him on Wednesday, she began to think opening up to him at all had been a mistake.  He’d probably had a chance to sit down and think about things and in all likelihood had decided to steer well clear of her. She was sad but couldn’t say she blamed him.  At least it would make things easier with Jared.

As soon as the nurses wiped her down a little, they laid the new light of your life on your bare chest. They continued to wipe her down, coaxing a few piercing cries from your newborn daughter. The nurses continued to work around the two of you and you were incredibly grateful for the small reprieve to enjoy the sight of your whole world in a tiny little package.

“She’s got so much hair!” You said with a watery laugh, tears running down your face as you smoothed over the soft tufts of dark hair.

Her eyes were still shut as she wailed every so often. You smiled as your boyfriend’s large hand came into view, resting over her back with the barest of touches. You looked up at Sam with the same adoring smile but in that moment he only had eyes for her and, honestly, you couldn’t really blame him either. He pressed a shaky kiss to your forehead and you used your free hand to wipe away the tears collecting at the corners of his eyes.

I haven’t messaged her all day, and I think she was supposed to have baseball practice today…..

“make the princess speak and you will have the crown of kings.”

my knees hurt, as usual, from scrubbing. technically i’m too high of Maid Station to help out with these things, but i like seeing what happens when you clean. the development of things. how a lot of effort can make something. i like learning and trying and working hard to get towards something.

and i’ve seen them, from the back of pillars, from behind cracked doors, from beside her (on the best days) the way they talk to her. oh beautiful won’t you just look at me. oh darling. if you speak i’ll be your prince. if you speak i’ll be your king.

the princess, i know, finds the lines of suitors boring. it’s in the way her hands are always moving. she hides yawns, leaves early, we make her apologies. once, a man comes and tries to startle her into screaming. she rolls her eyes and looks directly at me. i have to hide my smile behind my sleeve. he is taken away while still screaming.

by accident, i find her once, crying. when we imagine princesses, they always cry daintily. hers is hoarse, angry, and something in it breaks me. in my station i should apologize and bow and leave. instead i am frozen, watching her shoulders heaving.

she looks up and spots me, her cheeks ruddy. i know i should go but instead i make a big show. i act as one of her princes. i make grand gestures and speak in deep voices. i frantically offer her handkerchiefs and trip over my own two feet. a smile crawls up over her, slowly. i dab my sweat away and offer her the used rag. i feign a fluster, turn a terrible cartwheel, make shadow puppets. the sound of her laugh, raw and rusty, sends shivers through me.

for a while, i do not see her after this. but then i am called to her chambers. she is crying again. i offer silly gifts, pebbles and dusting rags and a candlestick from her own kitchen, pretend to steal it, use it as a hat, rock it as a babe. she laughs more easily this time, gladly, and when she laughs i am taken by more important maids, thereby officially Excused.

it goes like this for months. the winter comes. i rarely see her. i spend my week thinking about ways to please her. i knick interesting cookies, show her shiny buttons, learn to cartwheel in a full skirt, and then promptly how to make it look foolish again. i learn how to juggle hot bread and dance as a man would, i learn how to balance on a ball and how to fall down without hurting myself, how to fake a fight with my own body, which colors she likes and which don’t please her.

i show up on a cold eve with a knotted line of scarves hidden down my sleeve, worried and breathless, wondering why she’s been crying. the door opens and she is sitting there, happy. at first i’m confused, but she waves me in. next to her is her small dessert, in two containers. i’m not sure how to respond, so i fake a fall to hear her laugh, and then sit at her feet. she gives me ice cream - so rare a treat. i know what went into making it - the hours of shaking. it’s smooth and tasty. i don’t feign my reaction, but she laughs anyway, kindly.

it goes like this. i see her more frequently. she likes giving me new things, watching me discover i hate kiwi and love oranges and would die if it made her laugh breathlessly. i’ve made her keel over with cackling and she’s put a fire in me. sometimes we just sit there, quietly, enjoying each other’s company.

it’s in her hands, always moving. little things i thought were just her, fidgeting. here’s how she says she’s thirsty, this is what her hands do when she needs a second to think, here’s how she shows she’s happy. this is how i learn to speak back to her. around her i spend much of my time smiling. i feel every visit is a gift. a new part to unravel. i find out she doesn’t respond to spoken things, that she needs to be looking in order to know you were speaking. sometimes she has me talk and she holds her hands to the base of my throat, her eyes wide and wondering. sometimes she just looks at me and i forget that i’m her jester in chief. i get caught up in her eyes, in how expressive they are when she’s happy, in how when she’s sad i feel like i’m drowning.

i never see the king or queen, but i know when she’s had a visit with them, because she never comes back happy. two winters i have known her, two winters and now we dine frequently. i am often called to stand beside her, to whisper translations of her desires into the ears of someone more important than i, someone who gets to be the voice of royalty. i can’t decide if i’m her friend or her plaything, but i don’t know i care much of the distinction. every moment i’m near her is a moment free of friction. i take stock of suitors and curtsy to them in daylight only to mock them in the candle’s eye later.

she asks me one night to stay. it has been a bad day. it’s completely not okay. i cannot say no but i cannot, by my station, stay. but she begs with her eyes and her hands and i know i’ll take the punishment.

we lie beside each other. i make sure to turn to her when i speak. in the dark she can’t see me, so i move my hands in the way i’m learning. she asks if i am ever lonely. i cannot tell her that i am always lonely without her beside me, so instead i say i think all people are very lonely and just are pretending. she laughs a little at that and says she thinks her parents are the two most lonely people that ever met. her mother was like her; broke a fairy curse and talked, just once, although nobody knows what she said. well, excepting her father, who was the only one around, and who won her hand in marriage.

from her mother she learned the art of hands, of speaking without words - from her father she learned that who she was included a curse. that she just wanted someone who would make her open like a rose - someone who could fix her. how she stared out into the royal garden and wished on flowers to be what her kingdom needs.

she fell asleep pressed against me. i couldn’t breathe. i was still awake in the morning.

the punishment never came. we spent nights like this. the handmaidens had grown to know me. whenever their princess was stubborn, i worked magic and made her lovely.

it was a terrible thing. i did too good a job, i think. the princess glowed too much or shone too brightly - or at least, i saw it that way, so who knows what the truth is. every day it felt like we were being rushed with princes.

her father’s temper at hosting failed. it was the day before her twenty-first birthday and first time i’d ever seen him. he stormed in at the end of the session. “just speak!” he said, “it’s not that hard! do for others what your mother did!”

“tomorrow is your last day of this,” he warned her, “either you pick a prince or i pick for you. i’m done with it.”

he stormed off. she was left shellshocked and trembling. that night she didn’t ask me to come, but i waited outside, just in case she changed her mind. i understood why she needed space. either she’d speak and be married tomorrow or she’d be married shortly. i heard her crying and it took everything in my power not to rush in and hold her, cradle her gently. but i cannot come into a room of a royal person without being invited. i stayed there, tears in my own eyes, thinking of treason.

the next day was a huge festival. what had been a birthday celebration was turned into a day about princes. i watched her shake her head. i tried to cheer her up. i tried everything. i frequently came inches from causing public humiliation, toed the line of mocking and failing to acknowledge my station. she wouldn’t smile. not once. not even for anything.

the day was long. the bonfire wore down. i watched her crumple into herself. i was out of ideas. i knelt at her feet. her eyes barely looked at me. just wait, i said to her with my hands, i’ll be right back. i took off running.

the price of stealing is losing my hands. these things that i spoke to her with. these things that mattered so much to me, that helped with my comedy and cleaning.

i didn’t think of them. i bloodied my fingers when i ripped the royal roses from their stems. and then i ran, as fast as i could, back to her feet. i picked them to show you, i said, as she gasped, looking at my treason, they’re beautiful and nobody told them to open to reveal their secrets to the bees. they are unbroken. as you are. as you always will be.

she fell off her throne and for a second i was beyond speaking, worried something had happened, or she’d fainted, or i’d said the wrong thing. but then she was on her knees, her arms around me, and i heard it. i heard the soft croak of her speaking. just one word, and it sent shivers down me. my name, in her voice, awkward and unwieldy, but full of love and passion, burning fire through me.

i felt a hand on my shoulder. i was pulled away from her. they already had me in handcuffs while i struggled to get back to her, to tell her i loved her, to beg her to run off with me or maybe just hold me around her, maybe just have her for a moment, because i couldn’t live without her for a moment longer.

they put me in the cells. i rotted in there, for a while or for no time at all, i’m not sure. the thorns scarred my palms. i watched the scabs build up and flake off. every time someone came down, i flinched, wondering if i would be the next to be taken and chopped into bits.

but one day the light was different. not the smoky torch of the jailer, instead a bright light in a lantern. at first when i saw her, my breath caught in my throat, mistaking her for my princess.

but she was my queen. at first we stood in silence. and slowly, i moved my hands to speak. is she married? is what came out, even though i should be more worried about me myself and me.

she is not. she bit her father on the arm when he tried to make her. then she fought him. and then ran away. it took us a bit to find her, i’m afraid. she threatened her own life and the life of everyone in this place. the queen was smiling. i was told there was a young woman who could make the princess speak, whom she would die to save, who brought roses to her feet. someone in a cell, rotting. are you her?

the memory of her voice rang through me. i’m she.

yes, her hands said, for even now, aren’t you speaking to the silent Queen?

she opened the door. come, she said, let’s get you cleaned up for the ceremony.

the crown of kings. when she wraps her arms around my neck and laughs next to me, i am royalty. when she smiles or makes a joke or asks to see my cartwheel again, i’m lost in her. i kiss her whenever i can, which is often. we have roses in a vase at the base of our bed, and for all of the kingdom, i’d give my hands if it would keep her laughing.

the next time she spoke was just once, at our wedding, where she said the two words i do to bind us for eternity. she had learned from me, from holding her hands over my voicebox, the way i learned from her how to use hands to speak. sometimes at night she says my name, just because she likes what it does to me.

i’m more blessed than a king. every day i spend with her is a day i spend happily.

Summary: The Ladyblog catches a private moment and Marinette is furious.

This story can also be found on FF.net and AO3.

The video was uploaded sometime after midnight early Saturday morning.

As was usually the case after an akuma attack, Alya Cesaire had been running on a caffeine rush and adrenaline high that made sleep impossible.  The dedicated blogger would not see the back of her eyes until her copy was written, her files rendered, and her newest masterpiece was live for the entire world to see.

Or at least the majority of Paris.  She was young yet.

Fortunately for the aspiring journalist, the Ladyblog’s wide and devoted readership ensured that the hits would rack up quickly regardless of the time of posting.

What no one could have anticipated, however, was just how quickly.

It started with the local news.

Nadja Chamack’s bright-eyed good morning Paris grin punctuated the more somber news of floods, akumas, and politics with the light-hearted clip.  The segment usually reserved for heartwarming fluff pieces about eye-seeing dogs and neighborhood bake sales was instead taken over by the city’s most reliable ratings machine.

Ladybug and Chat Noir were television gold.

From there the clip hit the major news networks and was being broadcast to the whole of France. Then came the talk shows, the copycat blogs, the online articles, Buzzfeed, and more.  When the video hit the front page of Reddit there was no stopping the infection.

By the time Monday morning rolled around, less than three days after the akuma attack and the video going live, Chat Noir had become the laughing stock of Paris, the Internet, and the world.

And Marinette Dupain-Cheng was absolutely furious.

Summary: Remember that girl? Who didnt believe Tom was Spidey? Yeah? Well she sure as hell does now.

Tom sighed as he slammed his temporary locker shut before slinging his backpack over his shoulder and stalking off. He couldn’t wait for this day to be over,  it would be his last time setting foot in this school. The last time he’d be publicly embarrassed in front of at least thirty science wiz kids. He’d finally be free.

It had been a joke when he suggested to Marvel that he spend sometime in a High School, since he was British and had no clue how High Schools worked. Apparently Marvel thought that it would be a good idea and so three weeks  later the British actor found himself outside the Bronx School of Science with a fake name,a  backpack and a pencil case.

His time at the school hadn’t been a complete nightmare. There was this one girl, who coincidentally was in all of the classes Tom had to attend. She had these, mesmerising (eye colour) eyes that complimented her soft (skin colour) skin, along with a smile that could light up an entire room. She was incredibly sweet and so smart that Tom would’ve been lying if he said that it wasn’t a turn on. Tom had remembered her name to be (Y/N) and he’d heard that she’d been practically guaranteed a place at Harvard University in the future.

The bell rung above the young actors head, signalling  the final period of the day. With a huff Tom made his way to class, praying that  time would pass quickly.

Tom couldn’t help himself from staring she was just so… beautiful. He was transfixed with the way  she bit her bottom lip as she concentrated on solving the equation written out on the board. The way her hair would fall over her face as she worked, and how she would constantly have to brush behind her ears to prevent the luscious (hair colour) locks from obstructing her vision.

God, she was perfect.

Tom rested his face in the palms of his hands, his elbows resting on the desk for support. He gazed at her dreamily, wondering what’d be like to kiss those pretty pink lips, he bet they were soft and tasted of vanilla. He wondered what it’d be like to spend a Sunday afternoon with her, cuddling up in tons of blankets. He wondered-

“Mr Wilson, are you with us?”

At first Tom didn’t respond, still not used to being called by his fake name.  The professor standing at the head of the classroom called out again, attempting to gain Tom’s attention. All the while is brown hues were kept trained on her. “Sam Wilson?”

It wasn’t until she had turned her head to stare at Tom curiously that he realised he was been called. Sam Wilson. How ironic, marvel seriously couldn’t think of a better fake name.  He swore Anthony Mackey hated him anyways. Tom shook his head quickly, breaking out of his reverie and turning his attention to the teacher. “Ah-uh-um…y-yes sir?” Tom replied with a stammer, crumbling under the pressure of her intrigued gaze.

(Y/N) had her head turned to face the boy, an eyebrow quirked with interest. A smirk played at her pink lips as she eyed Tom, a mischievous glint in her       (eye colour) eyes. “Do you know the answer Mr Wilson?”

Tom’s head immediately snapped in the direction of the teacher’s voice, he glanced down at his worksheet only to see it completely blank. Damn physics. Damn (Y/N) for being so god damn attractive. And distracting. He looked back up at the teacher and shook his head with a blush, feeling 30 pairs of eyes trained on him. “Maybe if he stopped staring at (L/N) like that, he’d actually be able to get something right!”  A kid called out, sending the class intro streams of laughter.

Tom bowed his head, slightly embarrassed. Out of his peripheral vision, he could see the (hair coloured) girl, turn away from him to flip off the other student. “Why don’t you shut up Alexander?” She snapped fiercely. “Let him stare! At least he knows he’s good enough to get some”.

The class was sent into fits of laughter, as Alexander ducked his head. (Y/N) turned back to look at Tom, a grin gracing her supple lips as she winked at him, he only nodded sheepishly in response before her attention was stolen by the teacher, who was attempting to silence the class.

After a few minutes of the teacher blabbing on about half-lives and the life cycle of a star, (Y/N) turned to face the British boy sitting next to her, doodling in his notebook. “Hey man” she called out, gaining Tom’s attention, their eyes met and she could see that Tom’s brown hues had a hit of nervousness in them. “What’s your deal?”

Tom’s mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water. This was the first time that she had talked to him directly and being the stupid teenage boy he was, Tom desperately wanted her to like him. He could make up some kind of lie? But then that would totally backfire on him since he’s a terrible liar. He could also tell the truth? I mean who wouldn’t find playing spiderman awesome? Not to mention the fact that honesty is the best policy.

“You wanna know what my secret is?” Tom blurted out before his brain could catch up. The girl beside him, only nodded. The boy sighed, before looking her directly in the eye. “I’m Spiderman”

Silence.

“My name isn’t Sam Wilson, it’s actually Tom Holland” the boy continued, in hopes of impressing the intelligent girl beside him. He quickly dropped the fake American accent to continue. “I’m British and I’ve been sent here undercover by Marvel for the past 3 days”

(Y/N) eyed him with a curious look before bursting out into fits of giggles, Tom watched her incredulously. She sure was gorgeous when she laughed, the way her smile reached her eyes where they would crinkle at the corner and- But she didn’t believe him?

“You’re-ha-so…funny!” The girl said between hushed giggles, leaning on the palm of her hand, smiling at Tom. He shook his head, a blush rising on his cheeks as the bell rung, signalling the end of class. (Y/N) briefly looked up, before leaning over her desk to wink at Tom.

She stood, picking up her bag and packing away her belongings before slinging the bag over her shoulder. Tom mimicked her actions, now standing opposite her awkwardly. “You’re a great lab partner” she said, grinning at him.

“T-thanks”. Tom stuttered “you are too”

She smiled, looking down at her feet. With a blush she looked up at Tom, moving to walk out of the class room as it cleared up. “I hope you have a nice weekend, ‘Tom Holland” she whispered sweetly, air quoting ‘Tom Holland’. “I’ll see ya on Monday? Yeah?”

Tom smiled at her sadly. “Yeah Monday…”

(Y/N) smiled as she stepped off the plane in Atlanta. The warm breeze, weaved its way through her lose (hair coloured) locks, causing it to gently sway in the breeze. She happily hopped down the steps , excited at the thought of exploring the state.

It was to be (Y/N)’s first time in Atlanta and she would be visiting her favourite person in the whole world. Her cousin, Laura Harrier.

(Y/N) and Laura had been extremely close since they were young, they did everything together and were practically like sisters. Although there were a good  six years between the two girls, they were almost identically alike.

The girl patiently waited for her luggage at the conveyer belt, her mind absently drifting of all the things she could do and explore in Atlanta. Her flower patterned suitcase went round the conveyer belt around at least five times before it was taken off by someone near by.

“I believe this belongs to you madam” the voice called out, grasping hold of the girl’s attention. (Y/N) turned, her (hair colour) locks bouncing as she did so. As she did, she was met with the beaming and radiant face of her cousin, Laura. The two girls squealed as they pulled each other on for a long and comforting hug. When they pulled away, Laura held her younger cousin at arms length, before giving her a twirl, causing the young girl’s sun dress to spin around with her.

“Laura!” (Y/N) chirped, quickly hugging her cousin again. “It’s so good to see you! I missed you so much!”

The older brunette, held her cousin at arms length, admiring her features. “I’ve missed you too! Look at how much you’ve grown!” Laura gushed, smiling down at her shorter relative. (Y/N) pouted playfully, softly smacking Laura on her arm.

“You make me sound like a baby” (Y/N) whined in a playful manner. Laura laughed at her, a mischievous glint in her brown doe eyes.

“That’s because you are a baby

“I’m only six years younger than you”

Laura smirked, wiggling her eyebrows teasingly. “Exactly”

The pair begun to walk out of the airport, sunglasses pulled down over their eyes avoid the paparazzi. They managed to make their way to Laura’s sleek black car, where her driver loaded in the luggage and opened the door for the pair. “So I was thinking-” the twenty seven year old actress begun. “That we grab a bite to eat at this adorable little corner cafe downtown before we drop your bags off at the hotel and-”

“Sounds like you’ve got this all planned out” the (hair colour) girl grinned, an eyebrow quirked at her cousin. Laura rolled her eyes in response, before digging in her purse as her phone rung. She gave (Y/N) an apologetic smile, before answering the call with a hushed whisper. The younger cousin let out a hushed laugh, looking out the window as she did so, admiring the streets of the state she’d never been to before. The sun reflected of the roofs of cars, creating a glare with an array of colours. The sky was as clear as day, only small fragments of clouds dotting the pale blue abyss or disappearing into small wisps of white.

“Sorry about that” Laura’s voice pulled the younger girl out of her thoughts . “Tom managed to mess up a scene at the studio and they want me to come in to shoot it again”

Wait?” (Y/N) called out in shock, causing the driver to hit the breaks.  The pair of cousins were launched forward by the force, almost colliding with the backs of the chairs. “Scene? as in movie scene?

Laura laughed, slapping her cousin on the leg. “Well duh? I’m an actress! Silly!”

“I know that!” (Y/N) exclaimed, an expression of shock displayed on her soft features. “But you got a new role! Congratulations girl!”

The older brunette blushed bashfully, smiling a bit. The driver revved up the engine, moving along with the traffic and making a left for the studios. “I was going to surprise you, since you’re such a big marvel fan…”

Laura trailed off, winking at her cousin. (Y/N)’s jaw dropped, her (eye colour) doe eyes widening. This only meant one thing. “You’re in a Marvel movie?!”

It took all of the young woman’s will power not to scream in the car. All the while her older cousin and best friend sat there grinning. The younger cousin waved her hands about excitedly, having been a fan of the comics all her life and having a cousin in the newest movie was a big deal to her. She was proud of her cousin and was so excited to see how she would perform. Although (Y/N) was never really into the movies, she’d definitely be seeing this one in support of her elder cousin. “Yes! This is crazy right?” Laura gushed, grasping her cousin’s hands.

“So crazy!” (Y/N) grinned. “This is all so exciting!”

“Just wait until you meet the cast” the twenty-seven year old actress stated, absentmindedly, leaning over to point the driver in the right direction.

“The cast?!”

Let’s just say, (Y/N) almost deafened Laura and the driver.

After dropping off (Y/N)’s luggage at Laura’s trailer, the pair headed over to the lunch trailer to grab something to eat. The two cousins made their way up the steps together, Laura was chatting excitedly about the friends she had made a few months into shooting whilst her younger cousin absentmindedly day dreamed. She was about to meet the cast of a marvel movie. Right on the other side of the door could be stars like Robert Downey junior, or even Chris Evans!

They made their way through the door, opening it up to find an arguing  group of actors and actresses roughly their age. “One hundred percent Gryffindor student!” A male voice called out, as if his opinion wasn’t obvious enough. “I mean who’s gonna go 'Yeah I wanna be in Hufflepuff!’”

“A lot of people actually” a female voice interjected. “Eddie Redmayne in fact.”

(Y/N) rolled your eyes at the conversation. Any Harry Potter fan would know that Hufflepuff was J.K Rowling’s favourite house.  She looked to Laura who was already shaking her head with a knowing look. “I know what you’re thinking, and honestly they’re not that bad. Not everyone is a Harry Potter nerd like you” the older woman chuckled. (Y/N) grinned, taking hold of her cousin’s hand before heading further into the trailer. The pair headed straight for the snack table, gaining the attention of the cast.

“Hey guys!” Laura chirped, causing heads to turn in her direction. Three pairs of eyes connected with the two cousins.

Laura!” The group chorused, attacking her with hugs.

“What are you doing back here girl?” A voice she recognised to be Zendaya’s, questioned. “I thought you had the rest of the day off.

I did“ Laura giggled, with a smirk, her gaze drifting lazily over to a brunette haired male. “But someone, managed to mess up a scene. So I had to come back”

Of course” Zendaya laughed, her hair bouncing around as she playfully shook her head. Her brown eyes shifted to the figure standing behind the twenty-seven year old. “And who’s this cutie?”

At this point everyone had gathered by the table. Laura stepped aside, revealing her cousin to her friends. “Everyone, this is my younger cousin, (Y/N)”  Laura babbled sweetly. “She’s visiting from the Bronx!”

“Hey everyone” she whispered shyly.

As soon as the name was uttered, Tom’s eyes flickered up. That was a  name he hadn’t heard for years. He was certain that he’d misheard his co-star. As far as he was concerned, he’d seen the last of that girl after his time in high school. One of Tom’s biggest regrets was not giving her his number. If he had a pound for every time he’d thought of her, he’d be filthy rich, or even more.

The British actor swallowed the lump in his throat as he watched Laura and her  younger cousin make rounds, meeting everyone. She’d already met Zendaya, and was now talking with Jacob. 'This couldn’t be her, no way.’ He thought, it was highly unlikely, it was virtually impossible, it was-

You?!” She shrieked, her (eye colour) doe eyes widening as she dropped her bag. Tom’s mouth dropped open. It really was her.

(Y/N) (L/N). The girl he constantly thought about for the last 3 years. All the while, the three remaining actors eyed the pair curiously.

“Do you two…know each other?” Jacob asked. A small blush rose on Tom’s cheeks as he tried to make eye contact with the girl opposite him. He noticed how her eyebrows were still raised in shock and how her eyes shined with recognition.

“Yeah…” (Y/N) spoke cautiously, reaching down to pick up her bag, sadness etched into her voice “Sam went to my high school for about three days, he disappeared and I never saw him again.”

Zendaya, Laura and Jacob eyed each other weirdly, before looking back at the confused pair. “Sam?” Zendaya laughed. “That’s Tom sweet cheeks”

Tom grimaced, as (Y/N)’s expression twisted from one of shock to one of confusion. The atmosphere was tense, you could cut the tension with a knife in there. A small, pink blush dusted her cheeks, as she tried to piece together the situation. “But I-but-he-we”

So this was the girl Tom talked about in his interviews” Jacob teased with a wink. “The pretty girl who didn’t believe he was Spidey, the one who called him crazy?”

Laura looked at (Y/N), shocked. “You’re that girl?”

(Y/N) stood opposite Tom, blushing hard. She had no idea what was going on, or how to wrap her head around the situation. Sam was Tom. Tom was Sam. There was no Sam. The cute nerdy boy from her physics class was Tom Holland. The Tom Holland. An actor.

Before anyone had a chance to speak, a stage hand came in to ask for the young actors. Laura was needed in hair and makeup so she could re-shoot her scene. Zendaya and Jacob were also needed as they had a couple lines in the scene. Tom had to reshoot his part a bit later as he had to put on the suit.

“Make sure she doesn’t die!” Laura called out as she left, causing both Jacob and Zendaya  to laugh out loud. They soon exited , leaving Tom and (Y/N) alone. Since it was a nice day out, Tom offered to take the younger girl on a tour of the sets. They explored the prop rooms and costume areas, they also talked about the movie. Tom did is best to make sure he didn’t tell (Y/N) any spoilers. He loved seeing how her eyes lit up as they walked between sets and admired different props. He loved the way her small fingers trailed over the costumes carefully, as if she was afraid to damage them.

Suddenly, the weather changed from sunny to dark and dreary. The grey clouds chucking down buckets of rain. The pair growing cold and soaked, ran quickly back to Tom’s trailer to seek shelter. Once inside, they shed their jackets that clung to their skin and Tom quickly changed his shirt (not that (Y/N) minded, she liked the way Tom’s abs looked). He timidly offered (Y/N) a spare shirt of his own and was waiting for her to come out of the bathroom.

The girl stepped out of the cramped space, her now wet clothes folded into a neat pile as she let Tom’s white shirt flow over her body. Her bare feet padded over the carpeted floor, as she made her way to Tom’s leather couch on the far side of his trailer.

He was scrolling through his phone, replying to fan’s tweets and liking Instagram fan art. He barely noticed (Y/N) sitting down beside him. She drew her knees up to her chest, resting her arms on them before propping her chin up. The       (skin toned) girl coughed lightly, capturing Tom’s attention.

“So, Monday huh?” She whispered, with a light chuckle, remembering their last conversation. At this point, Tom had slipped his phone into his back pocket.

“Yeah...Monday

They both laughed, it was almost as if they were reliving the conversation. There was a silence that swept over the pair, the only sounds coming from the rain beating on the roof of the trailer. “You know, I didn’t think I’d ever see you again” Tom spoke after a little while. (Y/N) looked up at him, taking in his soaked and adorable appearance. The way his hair fell over his soft brown eyes. God he was cute.

She let out a small laugh. “Don’t you think I should be the one saying that?” Tom let a small smile grace his lips as she talked. “I mean, I was looking forward to seeing you that next Monday, I came back to find out you had gone, gotta say, I was heart broken. Mr Wilson

Tom laughed at his fake name, before shifting fully to face her . “I’m sorry I left without saying goodbye”

“You better be sorry” (Y/N) scolded playfully, slyly grinning at the young actor. “I had just worked up the courage to ask you out, I really liked you, y'know?”

It was Tom’s turn to be surprised, he couldn’t believe the girl he was crushing on liked him back. “Y-y-yo-you liked me?” He stuttered, his hand reaching to rub the back of his neck . (Y/N) nodded bashfully, smiling at Tom.

“Don’t think I didn’t notice the way you stared at me, I thought it was cute!”

Tom couldn’t help but hide his face in a pillow, when (Y/N) laughed at his cuteness he chucked the cushion at her, hitting her square in the face. She squealed, trying to push herself away from him as the British boy launched himself at her, his fingers attacking her sides.

“Puh-pah-please Tom!” She begged between breathless giggles as he tickled her some more. Eventually, when her laughs turned to wheezes, Tom ceased his tickling. It was only then that they realised the position they were in, her back was to the sofa and Tom was laying between her legs, their faces pressed close and his hands by her sides.

(Y/N) looked Tom directly in the eyes, admiring the little flecks of black in his brown hues. “I can’t believe I didn’t notice that you were actually Tom Holland”

Tom smiled gently. “And I can’t believe I didn’t ask you  out sooner”

(Y/N) noticed how the air in the room had become scarce, and how hot her body felt pressed up beneath Tom’s. She thought back to how hard she’d been crushing on him during her senior year and how much she’d thought about letting him get away. Even after all these years, her feelings for him were still strong. She let her (eye colour) hues flick between his own and his lips.

At the same time, Tom thought about all the months he regretted not trying to stay in contact, he thought about all the times he wished she could’ve been his. And here she was, wrapped up in his arms, close to him. Before the British actor could even process what he was doing, his eyes had fluttered closed and he was pressing his lips to hers.

The kiss was sweet and full of so many unspoken emotions. The girls soft lips melded perfectly with Tom’s as they captured one another. (Y/N) let her small hands travel to the nape of the boy’s neck, her fingers twisting in the small hairs that resided there. The British actor snaked his hands around her waist, pulling her closer. The bare skin of her smooth thighs creating a burn on his arms as he lifted her. When they pulled away, (Y/N)’s eyes were still closed. Tom grinned, pressing a small kiss to her nose, causing her to open them. She smiled up at him.

“Wow” she breathed, causing the man above her to nod in agreement. “I guess we better thank Marvel, for sending you to my school or otherwise this wouldn’t have happened”

Tom gave the girl in his arms a toothy smile as she lazily gazed up at  him, her soft fingers tracing patterns on the bare skin of his arms. “And I guess I have a new story to tell in my interviews”

“You do?”  She smirked. “What’s it about?”

“It’s about how I get the girl that didn’t believe me and how head over heels I am for her” Tom murmured, leaning in for another kiss. (Y/N) sighed, contented.

“Is that your way of asking me out Mr Holland?” (Y/N) teased causing the actor to roll his eyes.

“And  what if it was? What would you say?”

The young girl pretended to ponder for a second, before leaning up to Tom’s ear. “I’d say, 'you’re nuts dude’” she whispered “do you know what I’d say next?”

“What would you say next?” The brunette boy whispered back, leaning down, so that their lips were almost touching.

“I’d say…hell yes”

The field trip was boring, to say the least. It was an art museum, and although you loved looking at art, you had been to this museum more times than you could count. Peter had, too.

But still, you feigned interest in the same pieces you had seen before. They used to amaze you, but now they simply bored you. The class had been organized into groups of ten when you got off the bus, and somehow, you had ended up in the same group as Peter and Ned. You weren’t sure if this was a good thing or a bad thing. At least you had Michelle with you, but she was never much of a talker.

As your group made their way through the museum, occasionally bumping into other groups along the way, you began to zone out. You thought of a world where you and Peter could end up together, where he felt the same way about you that you felt about him.

You thought about holding his hand while walking down the halls at school, about going to the next homecoming dance together. You thought about him kissing you goodbye at the end of the night before he webbed across buildings to get back to his apartment.

You wished it were real, so badly. And maybe it could be, one day, but you knew it was unrealistic. You were sure that Peter was still hung up on Liz, even after all these months. But maybe after he got over her, there was that chance, that he would see what he was missing. Maybe he would see that he was missing you.

A siren went off, breaking you out of your thoughts. You frantically looked around with wide eyes, and you noticed the rest of your group was doing the same. The speakers of the museum crackled overhead, signaling someone was about to speak.

“The museum is on lockdown. I repeat, the museum is on lockdown. There is an active assault outside of the museum. Please stay calm and stay where you are.”

A few gasps sounded from your classmates, but you simply stood there with wide eyes, finding it hard to breathe. You had been in too many dangerous situations in the past month for your liking. You began to think of being trapped under the shelves, not being able to move and screaming for help.

Your shoulders hunched, almost as if you were caving in on yourself. You looked down at the ground, trying to control your breathing before it got out of hand. You wanted to go home. You should’ve stayed home.

“Alright, kids,” you heard the slightly panicked voice of your chaperone say, “let’s all move into the corner.”

“But the person said to stay where you are!” A random kid shouted out.

“They meant stay in the room. Just move into the corner,” the chaperone said, motioning to you guys to move.

The ten of you cluttered into the corner, five leaning against each wall with the chaperone standing in front of you, his back to you guys. You ended up squished between Peter and Michelle, and although you desperately wanted to lean into your best friend for comfort, you found yourself leaning towards Michelle instead.

“Stay quiet,” your chaperone added, his back still facing the ten of you.

You glanced around at your classmates quickly, noticing they were just as afraid as you were. They were shaking, and some were darting their eyes around the room frantically while others clenched their eyes shut. Even Michelle looked unsettled.

You took a quick look at Peter from the corner of your eye to see him not looking scared nor fine, but antsy. You knew it was because he wanted to pull his suit on and run out of the museum to apprehend the attacker, but he couldn’t, not while trapped in this room. He couldn’t leave. You were thankful for it, not wanting one more thing to freak out about in this moment.

You faced your head back down, closing your eyes and leaning your forehead against your knees. You breathed deeply, evening your breaths to stay calm. You wouldn’t think of all the possible things that could go wrong. You wouldn’t.

(You were thinking about all the possible things that could go wrong.)

“Hey,” you heard a whisper from next to you. You looked up, opening your eyes again and looking at Peter. His eyebrows were furrowed—a frequent look on him—and he was staring at you intently.

“What?” You whispered, staring at him back.

“Are you okay?” He asked.

So he had noticed something was wrong.

“Yeah,” you gave him a tight smile and looked down at your lap. You knew that if he could analyze your face, he would see that something is wrong.

Apparently he could tell anyways, because he leaned closer to your ear, saying, “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing’s wrong, Pete, I’m fine,” you stayed looking at your lap, knowing that if you turned your head, his face would be right in front of you. That was a dangerous position to be in.

“I don’t believe you,” he said, still speaking into your ear. “I know you, (Y/N). Something is wrong.”

You sighed deeply. You hated him in that moment, as he told you how well he knew you and how he could so easily tell something was wrong. But no, you didn’t, because you loved him, you loved him, you loved him.

You wouldn’t lie to yourself. You loved how well he knew you.

“Just nervous. Something bad could happen,” you said. You turned your head to look at him, and sucked in a quick breath of air when you noticed the very small amount of space between your faces.

“You don’t have to be nervous,” Peter said, not moving back. His eyes stared into yours. You almost didn’t hear his words, the thoughts in your mind screaming too loudly. You love him, you love him, you love him.

His nose nearly touched yours, and you could see every detail on his face being this close to him. You wanted to lean closer, lean that smallest bit forward, but you wouldn’t. You couldn’t.

“I’ll protect you,” he finished, and your heart leapt in your chest at the words.

It was moments like this when you would think about if that world that existed somewhere, where you and Peter ended up together, could be this world.

“Yeah,” was the only thing you could manage as you found yourself admiring his eyes, his nose, his face.

He was beautiful, and in that moment, you were so sure that you were in love with him.

You weren’t doubting that you did before, but now, in such a close proximity to him as he whispered words to you that meant so much more than he could ever know, you loved him.

You thought you would always love him.

Peter finally looked away, leaning back and directing his eyes to look down at his lap. You looked away, too, down at your lap as well, biting your lip to keep a smile from breaking out on your face.

But then you looked up, remembering where you were, in lockdown at a museum, hoping for an assaulter to not make it through the front doors. You stiffened immediately, your sudden movement brushing your shoulder against Peter’s.

You felt a hand clasp around yours, and you looked down to your side to see Peter gently linking his hand with your hand, placing his fingers in between yours. He didn’t look at you, nor you at him, but as he squeezed your hand lightly, you tightened your grip on his hand.

He’ll protect you. He’ll protect you. He’ll protect you.

And with an ounce of hope in your heart, you let yourself think, Maybe that was his way of saying ‘I love you.’

“So, are you gonna tell him or should I do the deed?”

The sound of Steve’s voice snapped Y/N back to reality. She hastily tore her gaze away from the screen of her laptop, allowing it travel across the room to where the blonde super soldier was attempting to clean his shield, not even looking at her.

They were the only people in the room so he couldn’t have been talking to anyone else. Despite this, Steve’s eyes were elsewhere and his tone was so nonchalant Y/N could almost pretend she didn’t know what he meant. But she did.

She cleared her throat, lifting her laptop from her lap and pulling her legs underneath her. She balanced the device on the arm rest instead and attempted to act as though she had no clue what Steve was talking about.

“Tell who, what?” She murmured, pretending her focus was solely on the screen of her laptop even though she could already feel her heart speeding up.

“You know damn well what I’m talking about.”

Y/N watched from the corner of her eye as Steve examined the now clean shield and propped it against the side of the sofa. He proceeded to throw his arm over the many cushions piled next to him and finally looked towards her.

When Y/N didn’t answer, Steve narrowed his eyes in nothing but annoyance. Y/N was being so damn stubborn it was slowly driving him insane.

“You’ve been avoiding him for weeks, Y/N. Every time he enters the room, you turn tomato red and make up some lame excuse about how you have to go. It’s getting kind of tiring,” Steve argued and Y/N sighed. Steve had been pestering her about her crush on Bucky for at least a month now; ever since she drunkedly told him about her feelings, he’s been urging her to confess to Bucky. The only problem was, Y/N didn’t exactly feel like making the first move. So, until the time Bucky would maybe develop a crush on her; or maybe until the time Y/N finally gained some courage, she’d stay away from him and try to repress her annoying feelings. It was a good plan and so far she’d been pretty successful at sticking to it.

“I mean, come on,” Steve continued. “He came to my room a few nights ago to ask if you were alright. He even considered the option of you being mad at him, but then he realised there was nothing he had done wrong.”

Y/N huffed in annoyance. “Just drop it, Steve.”

“I’m not gonna drop it until you finally tell him.” Steve crossed his arms over his chest, cocked one brow and looked at her expectantly.

In response, Y/N shut her laptop closed and stared back at him venomously.

“What the hell do you expect me to say to him, huh? It’s not that simple if you haven’t noticed.”

Oh my god! You’re in love with him, Y/N! It’s pretty fucking simple. You say three words, you kiss him, and it’s done. Dusted.”

Y/N was up on her feet in under a second.

“Are you out of your fucking mind?”

Before Steve could register what was happening, Y/N was tackling him on the sofa and clamping her hand over his mouth. Steve was mumbling something about watching her language into her palm and trying to fight her off, but Y/N had him pinned down. She wouldn’t have done it if it weren’t for the sound of footsteps coming from down the hall and she wasn’t exactly thrilled with the idea of the whole team knowing about her silly little crush.

“Who’s out of their mind?”

She rolled off of Steve and pretended nothing had happened. Bruce was now in the room, and behind him was Nat and Buck. They had clearly just returned from the city; bags of purchases in their hands and Nat was explaining something to Bucky until Bruce had interrupted.

“Steve, but that’s not news to anyone,” Y/N rolled her eyes and Steve scoffed behind her. He pushed himself up and sent Y/N a warning look before walking over to Bruce.

“What did you guys do?”

He curled his finger around the top of one of the bags Bruce had set down on the chaise lounge and glanced inside. Y/N looked towards Bucky.

“A lot, lot of shopping,” Bruce answered. “We’ve been so busy lately we completely forgot to prepare for our vacation next week.”

Steve nodded in understanding.

“There’s still a bunch of bags in the trunk. Wanna help me out?” The blonde soldier nodded and followed Bruce towards the exit.

“I’ll take my bags to my room and I’ll be right down!” Nat called after them. She gave Y/N a small smile, turned on her heel and headed in the opposite direction.

It was just Y/N and Bucky.

A moment of awkward silence ensued.

“So, what did Steve do?” Bucky asked after a while, toying with the set of keys in his hands. He was wearing jeans and a sweater, no shoes. He probably ran into Bruce and Nat in the hallway upon their return because there was no sign of shopping bags in his hands and he honestly looked like he had just woken up from a nap.

“Steve’s just… being his annoying self,” she answered with a shrug of her shoulders. Y/N slowly pushed herself up from the sofa, walked back to her previous spot and picked up her laptop. She was just about to head back to her room when Bucky’s voice stopped her.

“You’re leaving already?”

She swallowed loudly. “I guess so.”

“Come on, Y/N,” Bucky looked at her pleadingly. “We haven’t hung out in what feels like forever. You’ve been avoiding me for weeks and we haven’t spoken for longer than a minute in, what, two months?”

“I’ve just been… busy.”

Sure,” he responded, and Y/N could tell he didn’t believe her. It wasn’t a surprise. Her lie wasn’t in the least bit convincing.

“I miss you, you know?” He told her in a voice so soft it made her insides hurt. “I miss you coming into my room at midnight to talk and just, like, watching movies and stuff. Steve hates slasher films and you know I don’t like watching them alone.”

Y/N felt the corner of her lips curling up into an amused little grin. Steve really did hate slasher movies and every time he’d walk in on Y/N and Buck watching one, he’d groan and leave the room as fast as he had entered it.

“There we go,” Bucky chuckled. “Did I enter an alternate universe or did you really just crack a smile for me?”

Y/N hugged the laptop to her chest and rolled her eyes playfully.

“Oh, shut up,” she laughed, and Bucky did, too. “I don’t know, Buck. I don’t really have time for anyone lately. I’m all over the place.”

Buck’s brows knitted together and he shifted his weight from one leg to the other.

“Really?” He asked. “Because it seems to me you have plenty of time for everyone, just not me.”

Y/N released a nervous little sigh. “It’s… complicated.”

She watched as Bucky threw the keys Nat had previously handed him onto the shelf and walked around the sofa to collapse onto it. Y/N didn’t say anything and neither did Bucky for a while. Not until she turned to leave again.

“You know, I’ve seen the way you look at me when you think I don’t notice.”

Y/N stopped dead in her tracks and turned her head to look at Bucky over her shoulder. He was already staring back at her, his arms draped over the back of the sofa on either side of him, and a satisfied grin across his lips. He had her full attention and he was more than happy with that.

A second passed before Y/N turned around to face him fully. She was doing everything in her power to keep her expression neutral.

“I’ve no idea what you’re talking about,” she muttered, but she was clearly avoiding his gaze, her eyes glued to the shopping bags scattered across the floor.

“I think you do,” Bucky smirked knowingly and Y/N almost gulped. Damn, maybe she wasn’t as good at this whole repressing and hiding thing as she had initially thought. Maybe it was time to come up with a different strategy.

“You like me,” the brunette stated matter-of-factly and Y/N tried to look shocked at his assumption, she really did, but some time between Buck chuckling and her trying to gasp, failing, and ending up coughing, she only ended up looking silly.

“No, I don’t,” she lied pathetically and Bucky laughed again. It wasn’t a mocking sort of laughter; more of a “I can’t believe how bad you are at lying” sort of laughter and Y/N felt like she had been punched in the gut.

“Yes, you do. Steve confirmed this for me, and now I know he was right.”

Y/N pretended to look annoyed. “Steve is an idiot.”

“Damn right, he is. But you like me,” he argued, and Y/N wanted to groan out loud. Her cheeks were burning red and she wanted to hide in a dark room somewhere where no one could find her.

“Shut up,” she told him, trying her best to be serious, but her pink cheeks had Bucky laughing even more. He thought she was cute, and even though Y/N tried to seem tough, with Bucky it wasn’t all that easy.

“I won’t,” Bucky challenged. “I won’t unless you come over here and make me.”

Y/N stood her ground. “I’m not coming anywhere near you because you’re a fucking imbecile.”

“An imbecile, you say? Is that what you should call the guy you’re in love with?” His left brow was cocked and the amused grin across his face was so infuriating Y/N wanted nothing more than to wipe it off of that smug little face of his. But she remained quiet and after a while Bucky stood up again. He walked towards her, and sent her a cheeky little smile.

He was just about to walk past her and leave when her voice stopped him.

“You’re not gonna let me live this down, are you?”

Bucky laughed, and the sound was both endearing and irritating at the same time.

“Not until you find the courage to ask me out on a date,” he answered casually, his left eye dropping into a teasing wink. “I’ll be in my room when you do.”

Do you have any other hcs for the squip squad swimming? That rich one was so adorable.

-Chloe has a really cute old fashioned style two piece, with like, the high waisted bottoms. She spends the entire time lounging in a pool ring with big huge glasses
-Rich n Jake & Michael n Jeremy play chicken. The winner plays Brooke n Jenna.
-Jenna has a really huge, really cute sun hat that she never fails to bring to the pool.
-Rich and Jeremy both burn really really easily. Christine constantly reminds them to put sunblock on. Jeremy is pretty good at remembering, but Rich Always Gets Burned.
-Swimming feels really good on Jake’s legs so he loves to do it. If he gets tired though, he floats around with like, 5 pool noodles supporting him.
-Michael will snatch pool noodles from under Jake and smack people on the head with them.
-Brooke and Jake both get really light freckles on their cheeks after being in the sun for a really long time that you can only see if you get really close.
-Rich is tiny but makes the biggest splash with his cannonball.
-One time someone pushed Jenna into the water without realizing she had her phone, and before she fell in, she tossed the phone to the side and saved it. No one tries to push her in anymore but everyone is surprised by her reflexes.
-Jeremy picks everyone up in the water. “Look, Brooke, Im finally strong enough to carry you!!”
-Christine scoops Jake up a lot.
-Jake, Michael, Jenna, and Christine dont really burn, just tan. It probably also helps that they’re all Really Good at remembering sunblock.
-While Rich spits pool water at everyone through his tooth gap, Christine and Brooke are the best at splashing people when they least expect it. They team up and ambush their friends.
-Rich jumped into the pool once while holding Jake bridal style and they clonked their heads together really hard and had big bruises on their foreheads the next day but couldn’t stop laughing about it when they came up for air.
-Jenna was on dive team when she was younger and knows a lot of intricate dives. She tries to show her friends, and Brooke catches on the best. Rich is pretty good at them too.
-Jake can’t go up on the diving board because of his legs, but he always yells scores out after his friends dive. He gave Michael a 5 once, and Michael splashed water up his nose.
-POOL NOODLE FIGHTS!!!!!! They get fucking wild.
-They see how many of them they can fit on one of those big turtle floaties. One time, they successfully all squish onto it…for like, 5 seconds.

A/N: I have been really sentimental today and have also been lying through my teeth about when I would upload this. Thank you all for being on this journey with me. I may or may not have sobbed while writing this. And I may or may not be willing to write an epilogue. Thank you for the past 7 months of support you’ve shown this series. I hope the ending doesn’t disappoint.

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8 Part 9 Part 10 Final

“I can’t believe you’re actually here!” Momo almost screeches as you step out of the front seat of Mina’s car.

“Thank god,” you retort as you smooth your hands over your irritated stomach, “I don’t think anyone’s driving has ever made that car sick before.”

“Hey!” Mina protests as she pulls your bags out of the backseat, “I got us here over an hour earlier than the GPS predicted.”

Momo snorts as you shoot a glance at your speed demon best friend, “I think I have some ginger tea somewhere in my apartment. We can make you some to settle your stomach.”

“You don’t. The only thing you have in this apartment is potato chips and pig’s feet,” Sana teases as she joins all of you on the driveway of Momo’s complex.

“I’ve missed you,” you admit as you wrap your arms around your two best friends, “Please don’t leave me alone with her for that long.”

“I heard that,” Mina hisses as the car door beeps as it locks.

Sana doesn’t let go of your shoulders as all four of you proceed into Momo’s apartment, “It seems like we have a lot to catch up, but do you want to shower first? You smell.”

You sniff you armpits, “I do not!”

“That’s because you can’t smell yourself,” she gently pats your back as she barely shows your around the apartment before she is shoving you into the bathroom and turning on the shower, “We can go to dinner once you’re ready.”

nerd!jimin + unknown territory (pt3)

Jimin stared at the larvae sitting across from him, warily, it was currently trying to eat spaghetti with a knife. He should probably stop it, but that meant touching the thing and then he would—

“Stop looking at my kid like that.” You roll your eyes before replacing her knife with a fork and watching a happy little grin stretch across her face.

“Like what?” Jimin clears his throat.

“Like you’re having an entire internal monologue listing all the reasons you’ll never have kids.” You mutter, using a napkin to wipe stray sauce from Mina’s face.

“I’m not doing that.” He says and he shrinks when you pin him with a hard stare, “What? I’m not! I did that on the drive over here – now I’m just watching in mild fascination at the eating habits of—”

“Oh my God.”

“I’m kidding! I’m kidding!” He laughs when you move to get up, he tugs you back down by the wrist and you ignore the butterflies erupting your chest when he takes a second too long to remove his hand, “Will you relax already? You’ve barely spoken to me since we’ve ordered. Tell me about yourself, how have you been how did all of this happen?”

“It’s not exactly exciting.” You sigh, “It’s actually a very long story.”

“Let’s start with the basics then – are you still with her father?” Jimin lowers his voice, sparing Mina a glance.

“He left about as soon as I took the pregnancy test so no.” You laugh bitterly, picking up your own slice of pizza to dig in.

You watch helplessly as Mina nearly swipes her pasta off the table but Jimin is on top of it, grabbing her bowl before it makes its crash landing and sending the little girl a stern look before handing her back her fork. She grins unabashedly.

“Do I know him?” Jimin queries, keeping a careful eye on the brat now that she’s decided to make toys out of the cutlery. He sighs but waves over the waitress, “Do you guys have like one of those coloring sheets for kids or something?”

“Sorry sir.” The waitress sends an apologetic smile before moving to refill everyone’s water. Jimin glares but begrudgingly unlocks his phone before opening one of the few games he has stored.

“She’ll crack your phone.” You say mildly, watching in only half amusement as Jimin glares at your daughter when she keeps pressing buttons.

“I’ll buy a new one.” He snaps before he remembers he supposed to be wooing you.

It was too easy, too easy to fall back into the pattern of your old friendship.

You had begrudgingly agreed to dinner with him, only because in turn he allowed you to pick the restaurant, a quaint little mom and pop pizza parlor not too far from your office that you frequented. It wasn’t anything he was used to, at least not in light of recent events and his acquisition of millions, but it was good. One of those places that hand made their crust, they were popular and bustling with business but still managed to find a seat for you. Jimin took quick notice of the warm, familiar smiles sent your way from the old man working the front of house, going as far to boop the little girl you were toting, on one cherub cheek.

He was scared someone might break into his car in this neighborhood and you could only roll your eyes because this place was a suburban dream compared to where you stayed.

“No you don’t know him.” You say when you find your heart doing weird floppy things at the sight of your daughter and Jimin interacting so causally – it was something you wanted to erase from your memory because it hurt. “He was some guy I met at college, well before I dropped out to take care of Mina.”

“And your parents?” He asks, a frown marring his face at the thought.

“Disowned me when I wouldn’t abort her.” You shrug as though the words didn’t feel like nails clawing their way up your throat – an old wound re-opened but you feigned indifference pretty well now a days. Even you almost believed your lies.

“So who helps you? You don’t get child support or—”

“Jimin.” You say softly, because it’s in your nature to treat him with kid gloves on, even if he is overstepping, “I’ve been doing this for a while now. It’s tough but I manage. I’m fine – we’re fine. Now can we talk about something less, I don’t know, depressing.”

Jimin lets out a long suffering sigh but he relents with a curt nod, you don’t miss the way the muscle in his jaw jumps – and what a chiseled jaw it’s become over time. You nearly lose track staring at it.

“Where do you work at now?” He asks, momentarily distracted by a piece of cheese hanging from his chin. He lets out an expletive before wincing at Mina.

You stifle a grin because it’s so much like the old Jimin you couldn’t help the elation that bubbled over in your chest. Instead you choose to rest your chin in your palm while watching him.

“I sale time shares at a realty office, though I’m sure you already know that since you tracked me down and sent me gifts.” You murmur dryly when he smiles, “It was very Tony Stark of you.”

“That’s the nicest thing anyone’s said to me.” Jimin says honestly, putting a hand over his heart.

“Mmm.” You hum sarcastically, “So how are your parents, living lavish at the hands of their millionaire son I assume?”

“Living lavish.” He scoffs, “You’ve met my parents. My mom barely let me renovate our old house and only did so because I threw a bitch fit that she wouldn’t accept the beachside bungalow I had lined up for them.”

You grin at the thought of a very stern and self sufficient Mrs. Park arguing with her mogul son, because she probably won… but still you making tsking noise anyway.

“Well, in her defense you can be a bit… frivolous with your spending.” You say, nodding towards the bag of gifts seated next to him.

“I work damn hard to be frivolous. You two always did love ganging up on me.” He glared, “You’re so much like her it’s scary.”

“It’s why she loved me.” You tease back. “I’m her favorite child, even Jihyunnie has accepted it.”

Something changes in his face and his expression is softening. You scramble to change the topic because you knew how easy it was to get caught up in the old days, where things were much easier and there was less pressure on you, less weighing on your mind.

“How is he now?” You ask suddenly and Jimin’s features shutter closed – back to the calm, cool and collected Jimin that had picked you up.

“He’s doing good. He’ll graduate in a year.” He says mildly, “He’s still a brat and beating me up on visits.”

“I would hope so. You need someone to keep you grounded, remind you where you came from.” You harrumph.

“They miss you, you know.” Jimin says quietly, suddenly unable to meet your gaze. He’s taken to staring at Mina who was currently taking about a thousand pictures with his front camera. “My mom misses you. You know how she always complained about being the only woman in the house.”

He looks up at you and it’s your turn to look away. Because you had shoved back so many memories that were associated with him, but now sitting here at dinner, reminiscing it was easy to remember the bond you shared with the elder Park. It was something you also couldn’t have back and again, it hurt knowing that.

“I’m sure she’d love to see you again—love to meet Mina too.” He says softly.

“Jimin.” You say curtly and he returns your tone.

“____.”

“I don’t think that's—”

“You think too much is the problem.” He sighs, before signaling the waitress for the check, “Just because you… because we ended on rough terms… I know it’s a lot to ask but, I hope you don’t hold that against my parents. You were great to have around and they miss you. I’ve never gotten so much shit over something in my life—you would think that we were actually dating.”

You averted your gaze for the millionth time that night because it was true. Though there was no official label between the two of you, you were caught in an open limbo between more than friends but not quite dating. Even if Jimin couldn’t admit a lot of things to himself he was forced to acknowledge that things had been almost domestic between the two of you – between the sheer amount of time you spent over at each other’s places, or in his bed, lazing around doing nothing. When his parents would ask for his whereabouts it was always the same—

“____.” He says quietly, before handing his credit card off to the server, “Think about what I said, yeah?”

“I will.” You reply with a stiff smile.

The silence that was once comfortable between the two of you had some how shifted to a stilted, and unwelcome one at the mention of the past. You find yourself fidgeting in your seat at the weight of his words, because despite it all it was something that you desperately wanted as well.

“Tell me more about your job,” Jimin says, returning the topic to a lighter subject, it didn’t take a genius to notice how tense you’d gotten at the mention of seeing his family again.

“I’m sure it’s not as exciting as being a billionaire.” You say off handedly, going to sip at your wine.

Millionaire.” Jimin corrects and you scoff at him, “But being rich isn’t as exciting as you’d expect either.”

“How very modest of you,” you roll your eyes before sucking at your teeth, “I would kill for middle class these days.”

“I could help you get there.” He says lightly with a shrug and your spine straightens, “Not a hand out, a job, ____. I looked into your company the other day—”

“You did what?” You ask, indignantly.

And just like that the switch had been flipped again and you were on your guard.

“Is this really a surprise, you knew I was looking for you, it only makes sense that I would check the companies shares and stocks while I was at it. I know you don’t believe me, but we’re friends and I wanted to make sure that you were doing okay for yourself.”

“No Jimin, we were friends ten years ago.” You correct, ears turning pink at his audacity, “And I know you’re out of practice but friends ask friends how they’re doing, they don’t run a financial background check on them.”

“Hey, I didn’t run a financial background check on you,” he scoffs, “I didn’t even peek at your credit score even though it was right their in front of me.”

You threw your napkin down on the table before narrowing your eyes at him, “You’re a real ass you know that?”

“That may be true but you know as well as I do that you wouldn’t be half as defensive if it weren’t for the fact that the companies going
bankrupt.” He says calmly but his knuckles going white around his grip on the table cloth, “They’re going under and you have—”

“Five maybe six months left there, I’m well aware.” You scowl, “but that doesn’t give you the right to invade my privacy like this. And besides, a job? Let me guess you want me to be your assistant so you can bend me over and —”

You chance a look at Mina, who’s still well engrossed with the apps on Jimin’s phone and let out an exasperated sigh.

“You’re lucky if you have four months there.” He says mildly, “Looking at their financial statements I can tell they barely have enough to pay you minimum wage, so let me guess you’ve been working there for going on six years and you’ve yet to get a pay increase am I right?”

“God, you’re so condescending.” You laugh bitterly.

“Only when I’m right.” He says, “And for the record, you wouldn’t be working for me. If you think I stand chance getting any work done while you’re around you’d be delusional. I have a friend who owns a small law firm, he’s looking for a secretary and you’ve had more than enough experience doing clerical work.”

“Your head must be impossibly thick if I have to say this again but I don’t need your help,” you glare.

“Think about Mina.” He argues.

“I am thinking about Mina,” you say, much louder than you intend. You clear your throat before lowering your voice, “She’s the only thing I think about and you don’t get to bulldoze in ten years later and try to pick up where things left off. We’re not in high school anymore. This is real life, it’s my life.”

“You’re right, we’re not in high school anymore but things sure haven’t changed, have they?” He spat, “You still have to be in control of everything.”

“Of my life? Yes! Of my daughters life? You bet your ass.” You scowl.

“Fine. You’re coming across loud and clear, you don’t need or want my help.” He says, pinching the bridge of his nose, “But at least—”

He stops mid sentence when the shrill ring of your phone pierces through the otherwise comfortably quiet restaurant and you’re shuffling through your purse for your phone. You look up at him before sighing, “It’s work. I have to take this.”

“Hello? Yes, hi Mr. Kim.” You’re already rising to your feet when one chubby hand comes up to clutch your shirt.

“Momma,” Mina calls and it garners both your attention, “It was an accident.”

“Oh no.” You sigh, a frown marring your face as you go to your knees to collect the remainder of spaghetti off the floor, the rest found their way all down the front of her little tank top and you groan, “I’m sorry not you sir, I just—yes I understand the severity of this contract I…. yes sir I'm—”

“Go.” Jimin mouths, before shooing you away with the flick of his wrist. You stare up at him wide eyed, phone still pressed to your ear and an indecisive look marring your face.

Jimin sighs but rises to his feet, lifting you with him and all but pushing you in the direction of the exit before he’s turning to Mina. You send a curt nod of gratitude at him before bustling out and attempting to placate your boss on the phone.

Jimin has never carried a child before. He has especially never carried one covered nearly head to toe in an Italian red sauce delicacy. He had however carried a sack of potatoes and gauging the insufferable little brats weight, she was about the same size. So he applies all the knowledge he’s accumulated in twenty some years of carrying groceries into the house for his mother and keeps the little girl at a giggling arm’s length from his body while he fast walks into the men’s room.

He’s already had her set down on the porcelain countertop before his gaze catches on something in the mirror. A man maybe in his mid twenties is staring at him from the urinal. Jimin’s brows slash down at the inquisitive look before sending him a nod, “What? You’ve never seen a kid before?”

The man is a flurry of movement, zipping up his jeans before sending an apologetic bow at Jimin and shuffling out of the room.

Jimin sighs at the sweet smile Mina’s sending his way, an adorable dimple winking at him, before he rolls his eyes and swipes at her glasses lens where a stray splatter of meat sauce has found its way. He sends her a stern look, “Yah. I bet that smiles gotten you out of a lot of trouble. It won’t work on me.”

You pinch the bridge of your nose in exasperation as you try and explain to your boss for maybe the millionth time (that night) why the Henderson case you got handed a week ago wasn’t moving as quickly as he’d like it.

For all it was worth your boss wasn’t a bad guy, and the company you worked for didn’t cheat you out of money the way Jimin had made it sound. Now, did you deserve a raise after all the time and hours you had put in? Did you need it? Hell yes. But things weren’t always black and white, in fact your entire life seemed to be sat in one huge area of gray.

The company you worked for was family owned and every person in it was sweet, soft hearted, and genuine and all things considered those were good traits to have—except when you were working in the realty field. It was cut throat and competitive. More than once you had seen your boss caught up with loan sharks, renting out time shares at a discounted price to homeless shelters. And then there was the fact that he was just a tad dimwitted, but your heart had gone soft for the old man that had taken both you and Mina under his wing. So you owed him that. You couldn’t give him much but loyalty anyway.

When you returned to the restaurant with a headache you hadn’t had five minutes ago, you look for Jimin to apologize but your footsteps stutter and your heart drops to your belly when you see the two seats still vacant. You turn to the hostess and nearly fall into hysteria when she tells you they left.

Your phone chimes.

Unknown [7:23:45]: meet us at Fro-zone

“What did I say?” Jimin scowls, “One scoop.”

“But Jiminnie,”

“Your moms gonna kick my ass if I—”

“Jimin.” You call out, hair wind blown from the jog over here and when you meet his gaze he tips his head up at you in acknowledgement.

He was hunched over a whining Mina who had shed her white tank top in place of a pink shirt with a sparkling heart in the middle. He was looking at her sternly and if you weren’t careful you would mistake Mina for one of his business associates with the way he was carefully explaining to her why she couldn’t have more than a handful of sugar before bed—it involved you and him in an oiled up cage match which he would inevitably lose.

You took that as your cue to step in.

“Momma!” She cried gleefully, “Where’d you go?”

“Where did you go?” You retort, poking a finger at her protruding belly and making her jump back with a giggle, “I like your shirt.”

“Jiminnie picked it out!” she grins proudly and Jimin sends a dry look your direction.

“It was either this or the neon pink sweater with seven bows on it and a giant pop up unicorn head—I don’t care how old your kid is, not even she could pull off something so ridiculous.”

“She likes pink.” You shrug but Jimin spots the mirth in your eyes.

“Jiminnie knows a lot of bad words.” Mina tattles and Jimin glares at the little demon. “He owes like ten dollars to the swear jar.”

“The fee’s twenty five scents a swear word just how much did you cuss with my kid?” You cock a brow.

“Is that the only way you’re accepting money?” He retorts with a snarky expression, “Let me stick around after you put Mina to bed and I’ll give you enough material for her college fund.”

You grin but don’t say anything as he leads you to his car.

It isn’t all that much later when he pulls up to your car in the parking garage. A glance back in his rearview tells you that Mina is out cold and you sigh with the thought that she is way too big to be getting carried anymore. You turn in your seat to wake her up but Jimin shakes his head at you before opening his car door and heading to the back.

It’s probably the fact that a man hasn’t carried Mina since she was born that attributes more to the pain in your chest than it is that it’s Jimin. Jimin of all people putting a sturdy hand on the back of your daughters head and tucking her tiny glasses in his hand so she doesn’t hurt her face. He waits for you to unlock the door to your car before setting her down in her car seat and leaving you to buckle her in.

He’s still holding her specs when you turn back to him, fiddling with a small scratch on one of the lenses before handing them back to you.

You can’t quite put a finger on the atmosphere that resonates in the otherwise abandoned parking garage—nonetheless words find their way to your lips that you had no intent of sharing with him.

“I’ll take you up on your offer.” You utter.

“The job?” He brightens at your words and you wince.

“No,” you say quietly. “I… maybe if me and Mina have time we’ll stop by your parents sometime. I’m sure your Mom would love to meet her.”

His expression doesn’t dull at your words, if anything it only gets that much brighter at he mention of his parents and for the briefest of moments your caught up in your old feelings, because this was too much like the old Jimin. The one who wore his heart on his sleeve, and was never sly or cool or charming in a way that wasn’t dorky.

“You really mean that?”

“It couldn’t hurt to rekindle that relationship.” You shrug.

Could it?

the saga of is it a fic or are they headcanons continues.  parts one, TWO (this one!), three, four, five, six.

  • so michelle starts to get buddy buddy with ned and peter, ish.
  • she starts to actually kind of like ned, even if he sometimes puts his foot in his mouth sometimes. but they argue about the merits of comic books as a form of literature and he teaches her some words in tagalog and she learns how to call peter a son of a bitch so she’s pretty entertained.
  • but the weird things just keep piling up with peter.
  • he rushes off at random times, freezes whenever she asks him where he’s going, shows up to school with cuts and bruises looking like he’s been fighting in an underground boxing ring. she even saw him go into the chemistry lab the other day at lunch time even though they both took chemistry last year and he’s taking biology now.
  • he just does really weird things sometimes and michelle can’t help but notice.
  • michelle also can’t help but notice that spiderman is becoming more and more popular. people sell t-shrits, masks, shot glasses, tote bags. everything, basically. and maybe one day michelle might spend a little too much time looking at a t-shirt with a picture of spiderman in all his toned, muscly glory. but she just shakes her head and keeps moving.
  • she gets curious about him, though. where did he come from? who is he? why is he doing this? why did he sound oddly familiar in DC when he saved her friends?
  • and then one day she’s walking home from school after academic decathlon and she missed the bus which is totally her fault for staying later after practice to chat with peter and ned about the upcoming weekend and how their plans to construct a lego version of the starship enterprise were so utterly boring she could barely stand to listen to them. (and weren’t people supposed to choose star wars or star trek? was that not a thing? not that she cares about things peter likes. well, peter AND ned. anyway.)
  • she’s turning a corner when she sees someone out of the corner of her eyes. there is a man on the opposite side of the street walking several yards back from here. it could be nothing. but she’s also been taught to always be on high alert. so she grips her backpack to her body a bit tighter and walks a little faster down the street, cursing herself for not taking the more populated albeit slightly longer route home.
  • she continues down the street when she notices the man cross the street so that he’s on the same side of the road as she and at that point she just starts running. better that he thinks she’s odd if he isn’t following her than be caught if he is trying to catch her. she sprints down the street and turns another corner as she looks back to check if the man is following her and then bam. she’s on the ground, gripping the shoulder that practically crashed into a brick wall.
  • “oh my goodness, are you okay?” she sighs and looks at the owner of the panicked voice and she is left speechless. it’s…well, it’s spiderman.

~Dean tries to go all chick-flick on you but fails miserably~

Dean x Reader, Sam

2,464 Words

Warnings: Gratuitous Fluff. Smidge of Smut (Barely)

A/N: This is for @lizmalfoywayland who sent me the amazing idea this morning. And for @bringmesomepie56 in trade for Sammy (we’re even now)

~Feedback is the Crack that keeps the writing coming back!~

“So any big plans for tonight?” Sam asked his brother as they both reached for the coffee pot at the same time.

Dean beat him to it and let out a victorious chuckle. “I don’t know what you’re referring to,” he lied; a mischievous sparkle overtaking his green eyes.

“Good morning!” Y/N appeared in the archway, bouncing into the kitchen and running to Dean. Careful to avoid the hot mug of joe in his hands, she leaned up on her toes to kiss him hello. Dean closed his eyes as her lips distracted him, so much so that he didn’t notice Y/N had stolen his coffee until she pulled back and took a sip.

“Hey!”

Y/N cringed. “You forgot the milk.”

“I did not. That was mine,” Dean laughed, watching her float over to the fridge with a smile. She was adorable, even right out of bed, especially right out of bed. Her hair was a mess of tangles and unruly slept-on waves, her eyes were bright but sleepy, and her voice was crackly and low. Also didn’t hurt that she looked hot as hell in his old t-shirt that hung down to her thighs, almost completely covering the tiny sleep shorts she wore.

“I would have thought you’d at least make me coffee this morning, Dean.” Y/N poured a splash of milk into the mug and turned to give Dean a chance to defend himself.

The RFA guys + V + Saeran reacting to MC having a daddy kink

yes hello it’s me, the submissive little shit back at it again with more dominance from our faves (i won’t do baehee in this as i can’t really imagine her having a mommy kink, so she would most likely kink shame you tbh)

((my first headcanon in months and it’s daddy smut, i’m not even sorry))

~jane

Yoosung

  • This boy is a switch, okay
  • It’s basically canon that he is often very submissive, but as soon as he gets jealous he gets super possessive and in my humble opinion dominant
  • Which means rough sex, including pinning you to the closest surface, hickies all over and the occasional spanking if he really needed to teach you a lesson
  • He needed to study for his final exams when Zen invited the RFA to see his newest musical, and therefore couldn’t join you there
  • He did however check his phone while taking a break and saw a selfie of you and Zen all over his feed, with crazy fans shipping the two of you
  • Taken over by jealousy, he had you pinned against the front door almost before you could even close it, attacking your neck with love bites as he muttered how you were only his
  • Seeing this side of your usually shy boyfriend always made you a stuttering mess, and before you had even realized it, you moaned out “daddy”
  • For just a moment he gave you his confused puppy look, before fully realizing what you said and blushed, his eyes darkening with lust
  • “That’s right baby girl, I am your daddy. No one else. Now go to the bedroom and be undressed in two minutes, daddy will make sure you remember that you’re his”
  • can you tell how much of a slut i am for dom!yoosung
  • After you were done he would be a blushing mess, as he didn’t even know he was into that
  • Although he would take control more often, he won’t be your daddy every time - but when he is, he takes very good care of his baby girl

Zen

  • Zen had gotten a role in a musical a few cities away but you were too busy to come with him, so he stayed alone at a hotel for two weeks while doing it
  • Even though the two of you made a point to call each other at least once every day, he missed you when you hung up to take a shower and decided to scroll through tumblr while he waited for you to come back
  • He knew you had a fan account on there and while he didn’t follow you because he didn’t want the spam from all your fandoms on his feed, he did check your account now and then
  • Totally not to see you fangirl over him, pff no
  • He scrolled quickly past the things he didn’t care/know about, a small smile on his face as he found it cute that you were so passionate about everything
  • That is until he saw a reblogged post saying “reblog if zen is is the reason you have a daddy kink - i would kill for him to call me princess and tie me up”
  • Flustered, he accidently dropped his phone on the floor and scrambled to pick it up
  • “Zenny? What happened, did you drop your phone again?”
  • You were obviously back from the shower, and the image of you naked and wet in addition to the idea of you calling him daddy made the beast within him groan with lust
  • “Princess, why are you keeping things like this from me?”
  • “What do you mean? What have I done?”
  • “You haven’t told daddy just how much you like being his little baby girl”
  • “I-I… I’m sorry daddy, I won’t keep things like that from you again”
  • “Hmm… Should I believe you? I think you should send daddy a picture of you to show him how sorry you are. Show me your apologetic look”
  • You tried your best to take a doe eyed selfie that showed how much he made you blush, making sure to show your clevage as well
  • “I don’t really think you’re all that sorry, princess. You should send me more pictures like that”
  • You heard his strict tone become a bit more relaxed as he started breathing heavy, and you hoped he was touching himself
  • You did as he said, trying harder to look innocent and sexy at the same time, and heard him downright moan when he recieved the picture
  • “Baby girl, facetime me now. You need to help daddy with something”
  • With that he hung up, leaving you kind of flustered as he had found out your ultimate kink, before you facetimed him and picked up where you left of

Jumin

  • You were trying to read a book and listen to some music while Jumin did some work in his home office, but Elizabeth kept playing with the cord on your headset
  • “No Elizabeth, stop it! Do I really have to go and tell daddy what a bad girl you are? Leave the cord alone!”
  • As you were listening to music and busy trying to distract the cat, you didn’t notice Jumin standing in the door until he chuckled
  • “Daddy, huh? i prefer that over ‘cat mom’, at least”
  • You blushed when you realized he had heard the nickname you used for him only around Elizabeth, and tried to play it off by lifting her up and talking in a baby voice, pretending to voice her
  • “But daddy, she is no fun! Your little kitten wants attention, and daddy was too busy to play. But I will be a good girl from now, I promise”
  • “Don’t make promises you can’t keep, kitten”
  • Jumin shaked his head in faked annoyance, but as he stepped closer you realized he wasn’t looking at the cat
  • You let go of Elizabeth and she walked away, leaving you alone with Jumin towering over you
  • “Good girls don’t blame others, my love. You’re the one who wanted attention, right? You’re the one who wanted daddy to play with her?”
  • You nodded and blushed more, trying not to show how much his words affected you
  • He caressed your cheek before gripping your chin and lifting your gaze up to meet his, wanting to know if you found this as hot as he did
  • “Let’s go get your favorite toys, then. Daddy will make sure his kitten won’t be bored for the next few hours”

707

  • He had been working for two days straight and you hadn’t even seen him leave the computer, except from the occasional toilet break
  • You were needy and wanted his attention, but he kept telling you off because he “just needed a few more minutes, then he would be done”
  • After a few more hours of this, you’d had enough and just plopped down in his lap, ignoring his furious typing
  • “MC, not now, I’m almost finished”
  • “But daddy, I’m lonely… Can you please play with me?”
  • His typing stopped and you could swear you saw his glasses shine mischievously for a moment
  • “Well… If my little princess is lonely, I guess I have no other choice but to play with her. Too bad you have been such a bad girl today, trying to distract daddy. How should you be punished, baby girl? Maybe some spanks on your cute little ass?”
  • You nodded shamefully, pulled your pants and panties down and repositioned so you were laying on your stomach over his lap, presenting him with your bare ass
  • You could only whimper when he smacked your ass without warning, before rubbing his hand over it soothingly
  • “Such a shame that daddy has to punish his pretty little girl… What do I have to do to make you listen, hm?”
  • He spanked you again and again with no mercy, until you were a whiny mess and tried to squirm free of his tight grip on your hips to save yourself from the bruises you knew would come
  • “Will you behave now, princess?”
  • As soon as he saw you nod, he picked you up bridal style and carried you to bed for your reward for being a good girl
  • fuck me up fam, he would be such a good daddy
  • When you woke up in his arms the morning after, he would already be awake and looking at you with heart eyes until your stomach growled, which would make him laugh
  • “Shut up, I’m hungry!”
  • “Hi hungry, I’m daddy”
  • Yes, he would use this as an excuse to say dad jokes

V

  • All he wanted was to edit a few photos of the two of you he had taken to make a card for your anniversary, but as he couldn’t find his laptop, he decided to borrow yours while you were out with some friends
  • However, as soon as he opened it up, he was greeted by the sound of obnoxious moaning and the sound of skin slapping
  • He quickly shut the computer again and hid his face in his hands, mortified that he stumbled upon the porn you were obviously watching
  • Deciding to respect your privacy, he really did try his best to find his own laptop, but he couldn’t find it anywhere
  • He eventually gave up and realized he had to use yours to get the pictures done, so with a deep breath he opened your laptop again, ready to click the porn away and focus on what he needed to do
  • The sounds started again and he paused the video, but as he waited for the editing program to open, he saw the title of what you were watching
  • “Daddy takes care of his princess..?”
  • Intrigued by the idea of you having a daddy kink he resumed the video, growing harder when he imagined the girl with the baby pink lingerine was you
  • A thought crossed his mind; he had the perfect idea as of what to give you for your anniversary
  • When the morning of the big day came around a few weeks later your blue haired boyfriend was already awake, presenting you with your gift as soon as you muttered a “good morning”
  • You opened the card expecting to find a cute message like he usually wrote on your anniversaries, but you were only met with “Daddy saw something that reminded him of his little girl and couldn’t resist getting you something special. Happy anniversary, my princess”
  • He was too shy to meet your shocked eyes, which only widened more when you opened the gift and saw the pink babydoll dress and vibrator
  • “Was it too much..?”
  • Obviously anxious that he assumed too much, you reassured him by pecking his cheek and resting your hand on his hardening croth, suprised by how much even the idea of being called daddy worked up your supposedly vanilla boyfriend
  • “I love it, daddy! Thank you so much!”
  • He smiled relieved as you changed from your sleepwear to your new set, gaining a boost of confidence when he realized he knew your body well enough to get you the perfect size
  • “You’re such a good girl, princess. Now lay back and let daddy give you your real present”

Saeran

  • “Harder, daddy…”
  • He was woken up by your needy moans and the feeling of your hips moving against his, grinding your ass against his crotch as he was spooning you
  • As he was half asleep he didn’t realize what you had said, the only thing he realized was how hard you’d made him and how badly he wanted you that exact moment
  • After hesitating for a few moments he let his hand travel down your belly before pulling your panties to the side, feeling how you were already soaking wet
  • This earned him another moan from you, which only got louder when he circled your clit with two fingers
  • “Saeran, I need you so badly… Please daddy”
  • Hearing his baby girl beg for him made him ever harder, and he couldn’t resist gently biting your shoulder
  • You woke up with a gasp as he pushed a finger inside of you, giving you some much needed satisfaction
  • “Were you dreaming about daddy’s cock, princess?” he groaned in your ear as he pushed it further in, crooking it to find your sweet spot
  • When your only response was a whimper, he pressed his crotch against your backside, letting you feel him
  • “I asked you a question baby, I expect an answer”
  • You nodded and wiggled your hips, trying to get him to shove another finger into you
  • “Tsk tsk tsk, such an impatient little girl. Daddy will take care of you, don’t you worry your pretty little head with that”
  • With that he rolled you over so he was hovering above you, before kissing his way down to where you needed him the most
  • fuck me up again, another good daddy

Each avenger goes through a simulation in which they try and play the role of a super villain as the others try to defeat them. Tony wipes the floor with them with simulation Ironman Suit access and without. Maybe they try to warn people and Fury is like, yeah we knew that ages ago... you guys are thanking him and stuff, right? And they've all gone very pale :)

Fury stared at the sad pile of humans that used to be an assortment of his best agents with Expressionless Face #34, also known as I-am-not-impressed-and-neither-would-you-be-if-you-saw-how-pathetic-you-look-right-now.

“Stark destroyed you again,” he eventually said matter-of-fact. There was no doubt about it. He didn’t even know if he’d expected anything else.

“He did not destroy us!” Steve Rogers groaned, prideful to the end. And clearly in denial.

Fury eyed the glassy look in Barton’s eyes speculatively. He was gonna have to invest in new psychologists, he just knew it. Fucking Stark.

“He fucking obliterated you.” Fury snorted when the statement was greeted with a telling silence.

He just wished he could get his hand on the simulation data, but Stark had a habit of wiping it clean before they’d even left the room and Fury sure as hell wasn’t going to ask for it. He could probably keep Stark’s damn AI out of the simulator, but Fury didn’t get into the position he holds by fighting losing battles.

“Permission to go to medical?” Rogers gasped, and well. When Rogers asked, that’s when you knew Stark had pulled out the big guns.

“Fuck off,” Fury snapped. Professionalism was wasted on these half-conscious morons with more stubbornness than their sanity could bear anyways.

Romanoff was the only one who lingered.

“Sir?” she asked and though her composure was much better, her left thumb twitched in a way that told Fury better than words how unnerved she really was. At least she didn’t beat around the bush. “I’m concerned about Stark.”

Fury barks a laugh that is anything but friendly.

“Get in line, Romanoff.”

[And, when she’s almost reached the door: “If you ever manage to get on his good side, you might wanna stay there.”

It’s as close to admitting even he doesn’t know how real the threat Stark poses is, as Fury will ever allow himself to get.]
