Snow was not something that sat well with Siegfried. Having grown up for a good portion of his life in warmer places, the cold stuff was an annoyance to him. If Luciana didn’t insist on staying in this town, he never would have considered it a suitable place to live. And so, he found himself walking home as quickly as possible and praying the weather wouldn’t worsen before he got there.
The man had taken a shortcut through the park and was about to make the turn that would lead to his road when his body suddenly tensed. There was some behind him that hadn’t been there before. He wouldn’t even say they’d snuck up on him so much as just… appeared. Stopping in his tracks, he turned to face the newcomer. What could they possibly want?
