To the Garden of Wisdom

askrockknight:

After having a discussion about the state of affairs and concern over Rele’s insistence that the best course to take the nation was the course of action, Rock had arranged the Princess’ escort to the large foot prints just south of the rocky valley encompassing (and protecting) the vast Kingdom of Lacroa. The journey there was slower because, well, not everyone has an enormous flagship to ride on, but they still approach the grounds within a day of travel through passageways only they know. He had instructed Cavalier to keep to the rear to make sure no foe or wild beast crept up on them unannounced.

“Do you know why these tunnels were constructed out this way?” Rock inquired without necessarily addressing either human in the party. Just from his tone, it was clear he already knew the answer, but he glanced back at them.

((pardon me as I make assumptions errywhere- totally up to you how Rele wants to travel so I’m using the word escort lightly here X’D;; ))

Cavalier glanced over his shoulder, then towards the princess, before returning to the front, where Rock was. “Not really.” Akir snorted, not sure of the safety of the area, even though he walked amongst the princess and Rock, with his rider on his back.

lacronianprincess:

((The humans have horses, I’m assuming Rock can fly.  Unless he has a horse similar to Entango?))

Rele pushed her hood back, looking up at the stone and trees surrounding her.  Slowing her horse as the party neared the tunnels, she looked to the knight and shook her head.  ”I was under the impression that they were like this in case of a needed evacuation or something similar.”

(( yeah, he’s good with animals but I don’t personally see Lacroa being much of a kingdom of mechs… he’s fine enough flying. Also I totally give up managing quotes, tumblr really wont let me reply to you properly for some reason :T;;))

“Yes, that would be a logical surmisal, mi'lady. However, the Kingdom itself has actually picked up and moved in rare, dangerous times in its long history. The giant which stomped through here not only threatened our ancestors, he destroyed the town and the awful sight of him drove the late King Revil mad.” Rock had been here a few times to escort, so finding the clearing with ancient structures came to no surprise to him.

((also last note: basing all of this on the original Knight SD Gundam series :> ))

Man, Rock was so looking forward to having a chance to go out tomorrow and do absolutely nothing of significance. So much so, he was feeling himself easily get distracted from the paperwork he was currently trying to settle for the night. Things had been an endless roller coaster in the castle lately- between the Princess and King’s antagonistic resolution, Zeong’s defeat, Battle’s bewitching, rebuilding of Lacroa, and the news of Thiesel Thyme rearing his ugly helm again alongside Zero and Shining’s wonderful to-be-arrival… he really needed to just walk away from it and unwind.

Crap, where was he on this page again? He sighed, getting aggravated with himself and started again from the top. The scribe in the office had collected up his own things, leaving the mana crystal lantern lit as she walked over.

“Do you need anything before I leave,” She inquired one last time, knowing he had already spent far more time than usual doing this. He shook his head slowly, trying intently to keep focused on what he was reading. “Alright, I will make sure it gets sent off with carriers tomorrow morning. Have a good night, Sir Rock."

Meeting in the Med Ward

As grateful as he was to have the morphine, it left much to be desired. It slowed his processors, unsettled his purge tank (which is how he even wound up in the position of a starving vampire), and was the least restful kind of recharge imaginable. Rock woke in a slight lull, leaning up a little from the slab to survey his surroundings while propping his right elbow to push himself upward.

askcavalier  asked:

Unbind me

“Do it now Shute.” the knight demanded.

“I can’t….” Shute’s gaze was off somewhere else.

“Get off you blasted head and help me!”

“Cav, if I would,  I could! But I don’t have any magical abilities!” Shute turned his optics on to the other mecha.

The Human knight turned Gundam Knight gave a groan, placing his hands on his hips.

“Danm those grey-faced fools! I must be unbinded from this curse!” he then shook a fist.

The younger boy sighed in sympathy. If only he could help his friend.
