Cat Town, Japan.

Listen up, y’all. I’m about to tell you guys about the #1 cat lady destination in Japan: Yanaka.

Yanaka is a neighborhood in Taitō Ward, Tokyo. It’s a super traditional part of town filled with winding alleys, shrines and meticulously maintained temples. It’s a lovely place, but today we’re here to focus on the thing that makes Yanaka a magnet for nerds like me: good good kitties.

You see, Yanaka is a neighborhood with a butt-ton of stray cats. This makes sense, since it’s basically cat heaven. The streets and alleys of Yanaka are essentially just a series of hidey holes and ideal sunning spots that happen to have humans running around. Thankfully these humans are quite appreciative of their feline overlords, which is why part of Yanaka has essentially just become cat themed. It’s honestly like the neighborhood has just agreed that this is their thing now.

The first cat-themed establishment we visited in Yanaka was Nekoemon, a café with a scant 13 seats that’s covered in cat decor. The special thing about this place is that they offer a set (for roughly $15USD) that includes a cat-shaped cookie, a coffee drink of your choice and a little unfinished maneki neko figurine. Why the figurine? ‘Cause you’re about to customize yourself a neko, my friend.

The owner asked customers to choose between figurines to attract either luck or money. We picked luck and got our maneki neko along with a full assortment of markers. The owner even set out a few already painted figurines to provide inspiration.

Aside from the novel figurine offer, the café also had genuinely delicious lunch sets. They weren’t cat themed (though they had plenty of dessert options that were), but it was healthy and extremely tasty. I honestly recommend Nekoemon on all fronts.

Here’s my finished maneki neko. Followers of the blog may recognize him.

Nekoemon is great, but it isn’t even at the center of the cat madness. No, for that we’re headed to the shopping area: Yanaka Ginza.

Even if you don’t care about cats (in which case I’ve got to ask… why did you read this far?) this street is lovely. There are shops for handcrafted items, souveniers, sweets, savory foods and a lot more.

If you aren’t all sugared up from Nekoemon, you can always stop by Yanaka Shippoya, a shop that sells cat tail donuts. The donuts are named as cats would be rather than for their flavors, and they’re honestly very nice. We had a sesame camembert one that was lovely and not too sweet.

Donuts not your bag? You can always satisfy your sweet tooth with some maneki neko shaped taiyaki from Maneki-ya. Fluffy outside, rich and creamy inside. We got the matcha custard and red bean flavor and it did not disappoint.

Okay, so you’ve had enough sugar to last you a lifetime. Know what has no calories? Cat accessories. Yanaka Ginza has a bunch of shops that specialize in just… cat stuff. Cat jewelry? Check. Cat kitchenware? Check. Cat bento? Check. Cat bags? Dear heavenly lord, check. There’s even a store that specializes in making custom cat stamps. Seriously.

That’s just one tiny corner of just one shop. We visited 3, but saw more. Most of the shops had signs asking visitors to refrain from taking photos, so we kept the camera packed away. Honestly, I get it. These are shops best explored in person. It’s fun to see how the owner of each shop has a unique aesthetic and stocks totally different items (though there is certainly some overlap). You can tell these stores are curated by cat lovers.

Oh, and of course we can’t forget the feline residents themselves. When we first hit the area we saw zero cats. None. I was honestly really disappointed, but it turns out they were all hiding from the rain that started shortly after. Those kitty instincts served them well and kept them dry, and once the rain passed we suddenly saw little cat faces poking out all over.

This sweet girl roamed the cemetery and was the first kitty we met.

Shortly after we met a pair of housecats that chirped at us quite enthusiastically.

This orange boy said goodbye to us just before we left the area.

In conclusion: if you love fluffbutts and toe beans and are near Tokyo, get thee to Yanaka. It’s a fantastic weekend day trip that isn’t crowded to the brim with tourists, the whole neighborhood has a relaxed and peaceful vibe, and you can come home decked out in cat stuff and filled with sugar. What more could you even want?

I’ve been seeing a man in my backyard for the past two nights

Story by reddit user Opinionson

To start I need to give some background:

I am a male who lives in relatively nice neighborhood

It’s your average small town run of the mill suburbs area with not a lot of people.

I am a college kid who’s home on break while my parents have gone away which doesn’t help at all.

I have a two story house

I do not have gun nor do I have any real weapons other than kitchen knives

I am not on any medication and I have no record of schizophrenia or any other mental illnesses

I barely have any relationships with my neighbors most of whom are elderly and the rest I have minimal contact with

I do not have any people in my neighborhood (that I know of) who have reasons to attack or harm me

Now, let’s get into what has been happening. About two nights ago I woke up very late in the night and I went to the bathroom to go take a shit. Now, my second story bathroom has a window that can see the entirety of my backyard. Directly behind it is a cul de sac which you can see directly into. There is a group of trees and pile of rocks and mulch that divides it. Usually I can see everything in my backroom without turning on my because lights from my neighbor’s house dimly lights the room.

Why did you guys stop talking? You seem to be in love with eachother!

I’ve been asking myself that same question all this time. The only thing that felt weird during graduation and high school was that he suddenly became distant. I just… I don’t know what went wrong, especially after that summer break we spent together after junior year.

I thought that maybe, like me, he too felt—

I just… I thought we got better, but I guess it was dumb of me to assume such because when school hit, he made me feel like I never existed… again.

But enough of that, this stream is becoming sort of a therapy session, don’t you guys think? Haha, sorry! Um, are there any other questions-???

Summary: Reader and Daveed are best friends who are secretly pining for each other blah blah blah, they’re at one of Rafa’s parties one day and make a bet over a game of Flip Cup. Loser has to give the winner a lap dance.

Parties at Rafa’s place were always the best; the drinks were great, the music was amazing, the atmosphere was never dull, but the best part about them were the incredible people that made up each one; you were never bored. There was always something to do whether you were talking to people, dancing, playing drinking games, or just drinking in general. And that’s why whenever you were told that there was going to be a party at Rafael Casal’s apartment, you never turned it down…even if you ended up showing up late.

“Well, look at who finally decided to show up.” You heard a familiar voice say as you walked through the door to Rafa’s place. Daveed grinned widely at you before he slid an arm around your shoulders, pulling you close to him as you walked deeper into the apartment. “My favorite!”

Stitch up My Heart

Pairing - Parrish x Reader, Derek x Reader

Word Count- 1758

Request - Can u do an imagine with Where y/n and Derek had been best friends since they were little and when he leaves beacon hills she’s devestated and ends up dating Parrish and u can decide what to do from there. Thanks.

You and Derek were the best of best friends, you met back in the playground when neither of you were older than four. You had been pushed off the swing and into the concrete, you were close to tears when Derek came over and defended you and flashed his eyes at the mean kids, the two of you had been completely inseparable since then and you had loved him from the third grade.

Of course he was unaware of this, you always too scared to tell him, scared of his reaction, scared of rejection.

You had finally managed to work up the courage to do so before he and the pack headed to Mexico to save Scott and Kira, a trip you weren’t aloud to attend ‘for your own safety’ they had said.

Derek never came home. He went off to god knows where with Braeden, after you had finally told him how you felt.

You cried for days, he had left you so easily, had your friendship not meant anything to him? Because it sure as hell meant a whole lot to you.

“What wrong with me” you whispered to yourself as you sat on your couch, your tears were all cried out from the past few days, you had just sat, staring at the walls emotionlessly.

Your thoughts were interrupted by a loud and fast knock on your apartment door, again and again. “I’m coming, I’m coming” you yelled, tugging your blanket around you and shuffling to the door.

“Parrish got himself into a little trouble” Scott groaned, the weight of the rather beat up looking deputy proving a little to heavy for him to carry on his own, despite Stiles 'helping’.

Your apartment had become a usual place for them to come when someone needed fixed up, you worked mostly in the hospital but often helped Deaton in the animal clinic.

They had gotten used to going there with Derek and you fixing them up until they healed so it was natural instinct for them to head there when they needed you.

“Come in, come in” you ushered, taking Parrish’s arm from Stiles and wrapping it around your shoulder, helping Scott get him to the kitchen, “Stiles, clear the table and get me the First aid kit” you ordered. Stiles did as told, you and Scott laid Parrish on the table.

“Okay boys, he’ll heal but I’ll stitch him up, it’ll speed up the process, I think I have so leftover pizza, take that and eat it in the living room, I need to concentrate” you told them, they complied and took the pizza away.

“Tangled with The beast, huh” you mumbled, grabbing a sterilised needle from the box. “Hey, Jordan, can you hear me” you cooed , softly tapping his cheek. He groaned “uh huh”, you sighed softly in response, beginning to clean up his wounds.

“This might hurt” you whispered, more to yourself than to him as you cleaned his cuts, once you finished that, you wrapped them in gauze and put a gauze pad over a wound on his stomach.

With the help of the boys, you managed to move him into your bed, after you insisted Parrish would have your bed so he could heal and you would crash on the couch.

Half way through your uncomfortable sleep, you felt yourself be lifted from the bed and into a pair of arms. “Jordan” you mumbled, confusion laced in your voice. “You should be resting and healing” you insisted groggily, to which he answered with a smile. “I’m all healed and in your own home you should have not have to sleep on the sofa” he replied softly as he opened the bedroom door, placing you gently into it.

“But what if I like the couch” you mumbled into the pillows he just lay you on as you turned around, watching him pull on his tattered t-shirt. “Hey no! You need to heal properly, I can see you wincing and if I were to take off that pad then I would see the same cut” you scolded, you voice slightly muffled by the bed he had dropped you onto. “I will not take your bed in your own house Y/n, no way” he  said, shaking his head.

“Fine, we can share”

And that was the start of something beautiful.

Something so beautiful you didn’t even know you could have it. Something so amazing that you felt you didn’t even deserve it. After having your heart so broken by Derek, you didn’t really know how your love life was going to pan out, but when you and Parrish spent the night together, talking over the movies and falling asleep in his arms.

“Jordan” you squeaked as he spun you around, kissing your lips softly when he put you down. “I brought you dinner” you said with a large smile on your face, holding up the bag with the takeaway food in it. “Smell’s amazing babe, come on, let’s eat together” he smiled, grabbing your hand and going through to him office.

“So when I was babysitting for a family friend today, her little boy said he’s in love with me and that he wants to marry me, their other kid, sister is planning the wedding already, how do you feel about that” you joked, putting your paper plate and plastic fork in the little bin in Jordan’s office, taking his too. “Well, I’m not surprised, but he can’t do this” he smirked, leaning forward and catching your lips in yet another sensational kiss, just like every other kiss. His soft lips moving perfectly in sync with yours, his hand reaching over to cup your cheek.

“Now eat your cupcake Jordan, we baked them today and I promised them I’d give one to my officer boyfriend” you giggled, tucking into your own cupcake.

“You have icing on your cheek” Jordan chuckled, his eyes crinkling as they always do when he laughs. You began trying to wipe it, failing to find the pink buttercream that your boyfriend has pointing out. “Here, I’ll get it” he said softly, wiping over you cheeks with his thumb, then sucking the icing off his thumb. You giggled and he jumped to his own defence. “It’s good icing” he shrugged, admiration shining in his bright green eyes as he looked lovingly at you, you didn’t often get to do this, your busy shifts at the hospital mixed with Jordan’s crazy shifts here at the station didn’t give you too much time together, though it did make you appreciate the time you did spend together.

He leaned over once again, just about to join his lips to your when someone opened his door.

You both jumped apart, not because your relationship was secret or anything like that, but because it had been unexpected. Thursday night’s were never busy.

“We have a visitor, he wants to see Y/n” Deputy Clark said,  an awkward smile on her face. “I’ll be right out, Sorry Clark” you said, your cheeks burning red as you followed her out. “Call if you need me” Parrish called after you, rolling over to his desk on his chair, a cheeky smile on his lips as he got back to paperwork.

“He's a good one” Clark laughed, your cheeks flushing even more. “Yeah, I’m a lucky girl” you said, closing the door reading ’ JORDAN PARRISH’, hearing him shout, “NOT AS LUCKY AS ME”

“Who’s my visitor” you asked, no one had ever come to the station and request you, considering you didn’t work there. “A guy, he didn’t tell me his name, just said he was looking for you” she shrugged, opening the door that led out to the front desk.

He was facing away but you knew full well who it was.

You had spent almost a year getting over him and now he had just waltzed back.

He turned around and had the audacity to smile at you. Now, if he had done this before you had met Jordan, you would’ve ran to him and forgiven him.

But he was here now standing infront of you, his smile faltering as you glared at him, you loved Jordan more than you had ever loved Derek. Jordan loved you back ,Derek left you all alone.

"Y/n, I’m so happy to see you" he beamed. “The feelings not mutual” you grumbled, trying to keep your tears at bay. “Wha…Why” he asked, his eyebrows furrowing as he looked at you in confusion, having thought you would’ve been happy to see him.

“You left me Derek, you didn’t even bother to text, I loved you!” you raised your voice, tears dripping down your cheeks. “Loved?” Derek pressed, trying to get you to expand on the reason you used past tense. “Yeah Derek. Loved, not love. I’ve moved on. Moved on to someone who would never leave me, who lets me know just how loved I am"  you said, standing tall and strong.

Derek was too stunned to go any further, so he turned on his heal and protected his pride by walking off.

It really did kill him to see you laugh at Parrish’s lame jokes, watching Jordan kiss the ice cream off your nose and tuck your hair behind your ear, being all lovey like couples are.

"I didn’t know how else to do this but I knew I had to do it now.” Jordan said one day, holding your hands in his larger ones. “I, in now way, am trying to say that you do but I just wanted to know, if you have any feelings at all left for Derek, because if you do, I don’t want to hold you back, I love you and all I want is for you to be happy.” he asked you softly, running his thumbs over the top of your hands.

“No feelings J, none at all, they left the moment we kissed, I love you more than anything in the world” you told him, kissing his lips in a sensational kiss, as most of your kisses were. “Phew! I don’t know what I’d do if I lost you” he admitted, pulling you into his arms for a tight hug. “Neither!” you exclaimed. “Plus, who’d protect me from weird parascientists and massive beasts on a killing spree” you added, watching him playfully roll his eyes at you. “God I love you”

Derek left your heart broken and that night, after you stitched up Jordan Parrish’s wounds, he began to stitch up your heart.

He had wondered, when the letter had arrived for his daughter. Oh, she had indeed been applying to myriad schools, but neither of them had even heard of the school before. The letter had seemingly come out of nowhere. Then too, there was the name, Elsewhere. It was exactly the sort of word They favoured, the kind that said everything and nothing at once. The sort that spoke nothing of the truth, and yet nothing but truth.

But it was her decision, and he wouldn’t interfere so when she accepted the offer he agreed to accompany her to the applicants day. And just in case, he braided the old runestones into his slate-gray hair, the tiny discs of hammered iron. He soaked his clothes in the sea the day before and let them dry in the sun.

The signs were strange. There was no greeting, no céad míle fáilte or welcome. It simply stated, in a gothic script ‘Elsewhere University’ next to the seal of a man with a stylized elks head. It wasn’t until he passed the sign that he knew for certain. One never forgot the feel of Them. The stink of Them. Already he could almost feel their bindings on him and his hackles rose.

The RA who was to show him and his daughter around introduced herself as Rogue.

“Cairn.” He growled in response, and his daughter looked up at him.
“We… don’t use real names here…” The RA started, and he cut her off.
“That isn’t mine.” There was something in his voice, she thought. A bit like some of the upperclassmen, the ones who’d had dealings with the Gentry. Who’d come back themselves, but not entirely the same.

She became even more convinced of this as the tour continued. He didn’t question any of the traditions, not the nicknames, or the salt and iron she gave them to carry. He nodded approvingly the first time they crossed the stream where a sprinklers flow overran the path; His look when she suggested they settle for only touring the entrance to library was knowing. But it was his reaction when they met one of the Good Neighbours that made her absolutely certain.

He stepped sideways off the path; she didn’t think it an accident that his feet were planted in a trickle of flowing water. His muscles tensed, and he kept his eyes where he could be sure of the whereabouts of the Gentry without meeting that worthy’s gaze. The Fey strode past, then stopped and looked back.

“Who are you?” It asked, and the visitor almost growled.

“No one of consequence.”

“You were ours.” It was not a question.

“No more.” It was a simple statement. “We will be on our way.” Another simple statement, and a gutsy one. After a moment, the Gentry nodded, and the trio continued on their way.

She asked the same question, when the tour was done and she had led them safely beyond the railway tracks and the road. He gave the same answer. The daughter would indeed study at Elsewhere, and she would arrive with clothes saturated in seawater and iron wardrunes bound into her hair. She would be safer than most, for her father had had dealings with the Gentry on their own terms and walked away his own man, and he made sure she Knew.
An Unexpected Visit

You meet by chance an stranger man in red and black when he breaks in your house through your window.

The previous situation isn’t worth telling. It really doesn’t matter who Deadpool was fighting, nor how he ended up being catapulted against an apartment block. The important thing is that he fell on your living room, after a harsh landing where he broke your window.

Not that you cared anyways.

Wade Wilson was slightly confused to hear a faint giggle. He looked up. There was crystal scattered around him; he was thankful he only had a few cuts, for they would heal quickly. Wade was inside someone’s house, painted in cream colours, which seemingly was in dismantling process. It was your own apartment.

Another giggle. He stood up and turned around to the source of the sound. And there you were, now laughing way louder.

He wasn’t a man easily impressed. Yet the last thing he expected was a person in a torn wedding dress with a bottle of whiskey in one hand and a piece of cake in the other. Your eyes were fixed on him and his ridiculous attire, and he just did the same.

“Wow, man. You’re like a Spiderman on steroids.” You managed to say between hysteric laughs. In a normal occasion you would have freaked out at the stranger… however the whiskey had made it too hilarous for you to take it seriously.

Wade took a liking to you and decided that he could hide a while there.

“May I take a seat?” He said and laid his arse on the couch, right next to you.

You took a gulp from the bottle and handed it to him. Wade doubted, but at last he moved away the mask from his jaw and let the liquid wet his lips. It pleased him that you seemed to ignore his skin full of scars.

Shifting on your seat, you faced him.

“Why are you here?” You asked your visitor, with a goofy- and, why not, lovely- grin upon your face. Wade left the whiskey on the table and smirked.

“You see, I was fighting this really fucking annoying guy…”

“What are you? A superhero?” The cake you stuffed in your mouth muffled your voice.

“Oh, no. Shit. I’m just a really cool dick who kicks other dick’s asses.” You nodded. “Then that bastard threw me to the sky… from several streets away. I don’t think he’d know where I am at the moment.”

“That’s nice. You can stay and eat cake then!” Your words were spoken with happiness. But Deadpool was curious.

At first he thought you were plainly drunk. Later he discovered a sad sparkle in your eyes; despite your intoxication he was sure you knew what was happening. And it was very abnormal that his presence didn’t agitated you at all. Unless something had happened and you took in the absurdity of the situation to forget it.

One way or another, nuts or not, he wanted to know more about you.

“What about you? Were you waiting for our wedding night too much?” You could swear you could see his eyebrows wiggling through the mask.

“The dress.” You stated, not knowing what to answer next. Sincerity was what you found. “An asshole left me standing at the altar. He was fucking a bridesmaid in the bathroom meanwhile.” You drank again.

“What the fuck!”

“That’s what I said this morning.”

“Is that your wedding cake then?”

“Yes. I took it all. It’s one of the bright sides, like not being married to a cheater impotent.”

He laughed and so did you.

“You know, thank you.” You continued. “You are the only one who has stuck around me for more than five minutes today. I would offer you something to eat, but I was in the middle of a move… Obviously cancelled.”

“The cake is great.” You kept on eating and drinking.

At some point he told you he was a mercenary and some aspects of his life you didn’t expect. He told you about a certain woman called Vanessa, a heartbreaking story. You didn’t know if he did to make you feel better or more comfortable around him, but you welcomed the newfound confidence. Your conversation soon dyed of love.

“Damn, girl. At least you’ll get to meet another guy. A soulmate or something worse.”

“My love records has always been really deficient. I’m not very hopeful. But who cares, love is not everything… eh… Wait, what’s your name?”

“Deadpool.”

“I heard that name on TV. You were right about being a dick.” Your smile as sweet as sugar.

“I told you. Call me Wade, though. Unless you want to hire my services to scare the shit out of that fucker of ex you have.”

“No, no. I punched him, but I didn’t feel better. It’s not worth it. My name is [Y/N], by the way.”

“You punched him! [Y/N], I like you more and more by the minute.” He touched his face and realised his mask was still up. He felt self conscious. Even though you didn’t give him any signal of repugnance, Wade thought you were just being polite. The truth was you didn’t care how he looked like; he was an insane and pleasant visitor, one who drew you to him.

“Wade. Haven’t you moved from Vanessa?”

“What do you mean?”

“You said that I’d meet somebody else. You will too.” The liquor was finished, and you felt bold. This stranger caused you fascination and once you found something out, you seeked more knowledge.

“Oh, my dear [Y/N]. I won’t.”

You tilted your head to a side, confused.

“Why? I like you and I just met you.”

“You are drunk and you just met me, that’s why.”

You laughed, and made an offended expression. His smirk was now permanent, sometimes wider, sometimes smaller, as if pastered on him. Nevertheless, melancholy and harm were shown in some of his gestures.

“I’m not that drunk.” You placed your gaze on his mouth. When you spotted some cream on the side of his face, you tried to reach it.

Wade suddenly took your wrist, but let it go. You slide your finger across his coarse skin. Then, you put your finger against your tongue and licked the rests of the sugary mix.

His heart skipped a beat.

“Besides, there’s always someone who would not care about your attitude.” You ended your sentence.

“It’s not about my attitude. I’m fucking awesome. It’s about my face.” He lowered the tissue over his mouth once again. “I look like a rotten avocado.”

“You’re saying you are ugly?”

“Worse.”

“Well, your mouth was nice.” It was a lighthearted comment, but it stired Wade’s deepest feelings.

“What? Did you see the skin around it?”

“Do you think I’m ugly?” You simply asked, hoping to prove a point.

“No. Of course not.”

“I have skin too, you know.”

“It’s not the same.”

Silence. And eventually he took his mask off.

You were surprised. You didn’t think he’d have the guts to do so, regarding how low his self-esteem was. Therefore, acting on impulse you pecked his lips. Then you froze and opened your eyes. Your drunkenness evaporated instantly.

“Sorry.” You spoke. He didn’t say anything. “I-I didn’t want to… I  mean, I wanted to but maybe you didn’t… I should have asked…”

“Shut up.” Was all he could say.

Wade was utterly unprepared for your actions. Yet he found himself leaning in for another kiss. You didn’t move, and welcomed his mouth on yours. It was slow and chaste, just a kiss between two broken souls. He caressed your cheek, and you smiled into the kiss.

You parted from him, and he whispered.

“Are you a dream?”

“No, are you?” You teased.

“You are too good for me…”

“Says the one who fell from the sky like an angel and made me forget I got dumped on an altar.”

“You’re unfucking my life.”

“That’s not even a word.”

“You’re intelligent too?”

“Wade…”

“How about a second date? I promise I won’t try to get on your pants yet.”

“Yes.” You wanted to see him again. Definitely.

You weren’t aware of the insanity that had just entered your life. However, just like the broken window, you didn’t care. Everytime you saw Wade Wilson you felt happy and alive. So, even though it was a challenge, you couldn’t enjoy more the adventures he always brought. He, on the other hand, just loved how he could sleep in your arms without any worries.

Fate sometimes is a kind bitch, as Wade once said.

I'm sorry how what was a what's what now??

I used to work at a museum and I have SO MANY fuck customers (well visitors) as well as bless visitors stories but I thought I’d share the weirdest question I ever got because it still makes me giggle and it might cheer someone up!

So yeah I had been working at the museum for a few months now and you usually have tidbits of information memorised, like how old this mummy is or where was this T Rex skeleton was discovered and if a visitor asks something we don’t know we have iPads/tablets to find out.

Well I’m in the prehistoric exhibit with the T Rex skeleton and it’s pretty quiet and I hear this young (admittedly cool looking) couple not arguing but like there is a debate going on and then the guy spots me.

I ask them if I can help and they explain that they have a query about T Rex’s in general. Now I’m trying guess what they’re about to ask like “were they fast runners?” “where were the bones discovered” all questions I automatically knew the answers to. Not this one though. And thank god there were no children around.

“How big would a t rex’s dick have been?”

I think it goes without saying that I had to pull out of the iPad for this one.

TL;DR hipster couple ask me about dinosaur genitals. Oh and in case you were wondering; 1. It’s an ongoing debate, a lot of scientists say up to 45 miles an hour and some believe that they couldn’t run at all 2. South Dakota. 3. possibly anywhere from 10 inches to a foot long.

The first warning yip was followed by a low, burring growl that warned the intruder to stay where he was, on pain of instant dismemberment. I rose and stuck my head out of the office door, to see whether Father Balmain might be braving the peril of the demon once more, in pursuit of his sacramental duties. But the figure outlined against the huge stained-glass window of the entry hall was not the spare form of the junior priest. It was a tall figure, whose silhouetted kilts swayed gracefully around his legs as he drew back from the small, toothed animal at his feet.

Jamie blinked, brought up short by the assault. Shading his eyes against the dazzle from the window, he peered down into the shadows.

“Oh, hallo there, wee dog,” he said politely, and took a step forward, knuckles stretched out. Bouton raised the growl a few decibels, and he took a step back.

“Oh, like that, is it?” Jamie said. He eyed the dog narrowly.

“Think it over, laddie,” he advised, squinting down his long, straight nose. “I’m a damn sight bigger than you. I wouldna undertake any rash ventures, if I were you.”

Bouton shifted his ground slightly, still making a noise like a distant Fokker.

“Faster, too,” said Jamie, making a feint to one side. Bouton’s teeth snapped together a few inches from Jamie’s calf, and he stepped back hastily. Leaning back against the wall, he folded his arms and nodded down at the dog.

“Well, you’ve a point there, I’ll admit. When it comes to teeth, ye’ve the edge on me, and no mistake.” Bouton cocked an ear suspiciously at this gracious speech, but went back to the low-pitched growl.

Jamie hooked one foot over the other, like one prepared to pass the time of day indefinitely. The multicolored light from the window washed his face with blue, making him look like one of the chilly marble statues in the cathedral next door.

“Surely you’ve better things to do than harry innocent visitors?” he asked, conversationally. “I’ve heard of you—you’re the famous fellow that sniffs out sickness, no? Weel, then, why are they wastin’ ye on silly things like door-guarding, when ye might be makin’ yourself useful smelling gouty toes and pustulant arseholes? Answer me that, if ye will!”

A sharp bark in response to his uncrossing his feet was the only answer. There was a stir of robes behind me as Mother Hildegarde entered from the inner office.

“What is it?” she asked, seeing me peering round the corner. “Have we visitors?”

“Bouton seems to be having a difference of opinion with my husband,” I said.

“I don’t have to put up wi’ this, ye ken,” Jamie was threatening. One hand was stealing toward the brooch that held his plaid at the shoulder. “One quick spring wi’ my plaid, and I’ll have ye trussed like a—oh, bonjour, Madame!” he said, changing swiftly to French at sight of Mother Hildegarde.

A/N: I found it rather amusing to write this because Jensen fits the caring father role for someone that isn’t his biological daughter. I hope you enjoy!

You were lucky to have the next couple of days off to relax from filming. You had invited your friends from the Vancouver area to your trailer for drinks. No one on set knew about this because majority of the cast and set members were American so they still believed that the legal age is twenty-one. Understandable given how they didn’t think about the age now due to the large gap of ages.

“Kid, get some sleep.” Jensen said pulling you into a side hug, “We want to take you out for breakfast tomorrow.”

“Sure!” You grinned feeling Jensen pressed a kiss into your hair. You played his on-screen daughter on the show.

“Bright and early.” Jared grinned as you collected what you had brought, “We’re staying in our trailers tonight so we can leave quick.”

“Okay!” You smiled before striding to your trailer that was on the far end of the lot.

Jensen and you had gotten very close since you joined the cast four years ago when you were still sixteen. You had wanted to get away from your large and intrusive family, they had wanted to since your father went to jail for countless charges of indecent exposure to young children. Slowly Jensen became the father figure you had always lacked.

“The gang is bringing the alcohol, I have snack in the trailer and everything it cleaned up inside.” You muttered to yourself while biting your lip.

You had planned to get together with your friends and had asked for visitor passes for them to hang for awhile. The set people had thought it would only females but you hadn’t corrected them because majority would be female.

“You’re a lucky kid.” Misha chuckled as you strolled past him, “I may join you for breakfast tomorrow. Have a good sleep.”

“Thanks!” You grinned as you entered your nice size trailer.

You quickly showered before climbing into a nice pair of shorts and a t-shirt while braiding your hair to get the wetness out of you face. You had just put the board games out when your trailer door opened. In came your friends Alice, Lexi, and Rachel followed by your male friends Larson, Astral, Liam and Luke.

“Got the drinks?” You asked as they all laughed before falling into the seats. Larson chuckled as he nodded before he stretched out his legs.

“You know it.”

“What should we start out with? Poker? Board game?” Rachel asked going through the games on the table.

“We did strip poker last time and I’m not prepared to bare myself again.” Alice laughed pointedly staring at her legs, “Forgot to buy more razor cartilages.

“You guys want to be Never Have I Ever or Truth or Dare?” Astral asked.

“Let’s have some fun. A little truth or dare never hurt anyone.” You laughed at the eyebrow wiggling Liam was doing at the group.

Cracking open a couple cans of your preference of alcohol you sat in a circle following the rules for the childlike game. The rule was that you would have to chug a beer if you opted out of doing a dare as told by Lexi.

“Alice…truth or dare?” Astral smirked.

“Truth.” Alice grinned.

“Have you ever wanted to hook up with a female in the room?”

“Honestly? When I first met Y/N but then I got to know her.” Alice shrugged as she popped an M &M into her mouth. You laughed pushing her in the side, “What! Your hot and I’m into girls!”

“Nice to know you wanted to jump my bones.” You cried as you drank more of your beer.

“Astral…truth or dare?”

“Dare.”

“Makeout with Rachel.”

“What are you twelve?” Astral let out a deep chuckle before he pulled Rachel into a deep kiss that turned heated very soon.

“Okay! Moving on!” You exclaimed.

                                                          〰️〰️〰️
You were an hour into the game and a lot of you were majorly tipsy already that you were getting more and more daring. You weren’t backing down from any question or dare but you seriously were enjoying the alcohol that you weren’t served at cast parties as Jensen didn’t want you drinking.

“Y/N…I dare you to wear a thong for the next twenty-four hours…starting now.” Lexi hiccuped.

“I don’t have any.” You frowned. You hated thongs with a passion but drunk you didn’t give a shit.

“I just got some yesterday!” Rachel squealed, “Here.”

Rachel swiftly pulled out a package of the them making you curious as to why she was carrying thongs around with her. You burped as you stumbled into the corner where you discarded the panties you were wearing and pulled the thong on. You could feel the heated gaze of Larson staring at you more than the others.

“Okay.” You giggled as you nearly fell over as you sat down.

You moved on from Truth or Dare into board games that had you all laughing your asses off but what really go the party going was when you were having a heavy make-out session with Larson on your bed. It wasn’t something that was new, you and Larson flirted but never passed the line.

“Y/N?” A knock on your tailer door didn’t pull you apart nor did you hear it over the music. You did however feel from when Larson was roughly pulled away from you.

“What the hell?” Larson exclaimed before backing off at the height of Jared and the pissed Jensen, “Invite only.”

“Get the fuck out of this trailer. NOW!” Jensen roared watching as everyone got their stuff and ran out of the trailer. You winced feeling the pain in your head before you saw Jared give you an advil and water.

“Do you know what time it is?” Jared said as he crossed his arms at you.

“It’s SEVEN IN THE MORNING!” Jensen roared, “Have you been drinking all night?”

“Maybe.” You grunted.

“You’re not legal.” Jensen huffed.

“I’m nineteen. I’m legal in Canada.” You groaned before Jensen huffed as you were still tipsy.

“Well your not in my eyes!”

“Jensen I was having fun!”

“Having fun drinking the night away and having sex with a stranger?” Jensen retorted, “Do you know how easily it is to forget a major detail of protection when you’re wasted?”

“Dude. I didn’t have sex.”

“Y/N you’re like a daughter to me. I don’t want to see you ruining your life like this. It’s one thing to have a drink or two but getting wasted isn’t acceptable especially when people are still working on set.”

“I’m sorry.” You pouted feeling yourself sober up, “I’m so-orry Dad.”

Jensen was stunned at what you called him before you passed out in his arms with no shirt on. He swiftly yanked the shirt you had stolen from him over you and placed you into your bed still thinking of what he was called. Jared and him quickly cleaned everything up before opening a window to air out the stench of alcohol.

“Wow.” Jared whispered, “She called you-“

“I know.” Jensen said awed. He really did see you as a daughter and could careless if you called him anything but he knew you saw him as a father.

You know, thongs aren’t so uncomfortable after all.” You mumbled in your sleep. Jared and Jensen scrunched their noses up before they fought for the door.

“That’s my cue to leave.” Jensen said he left his non biological daughter sleeping her way back to being sober.

CONFIDE  — JUGHEAD JONES & ARCHIE ANDREWS

author’s note: hiya! here is a jughead and archie imagine i came up with out of the blue. enjoy!

pairing: reader x jughead x archie (platonic)

YOU SAT ALONE IN THE RED LEATHER BOOTH, scooping the whip cream from your second chocolate milkshake with the tip of your finger. Groups of teenagers entered the diner one after another, laughter escaping their mouths as they all crammed into the empty booths surrounding the one you occupied. You sighed softly to yourself, becoming jealous of how happy the group of friends looked, and wishing yours could act the same.

For a split second your memory brought back to the night before, placing you in front of Archie again and forcing you to relive everything that happened in that moment. A wave of emotions quickly crashed down on you, thrusting you out of your thoughts and back into reality.

“Hey-” Pop called out to you as he continued to clean the glass in his hands, “You look a bit distracted tonight. Everything okay?”

You looked up to see the diner’s owner staring at you with a concerned expression overcoming his face. Pop had become the father-figure to the many teens who visited the Chock’lit Shoppe, always taking the time out of his day to ask each and every visitor how their day is going, and in this circumstance checking up on those who seemed to be having a rough night.

A small smile crept up on your face, “I’m good, thank you. Just… exhausted I guess you could say.” You leaned forward to take a sip of your milkshake, watching as Pop set the now-cleaned glass on the counter.

“With Jason’s death and all I can see why. You going to the game tonight?” Suddenly the thought of Jughead popped in your mind, and how you’d completely forgotten the plans you had to meet up with him at the game. You agreed earlier in the week to help him out with his investigation into Dilton for the school newspaper, as Jughead strongly believed he was lying about what he was doing at SweetWater River the night Jason was killed. While excited to help him, you also dreaded the idea of having to go to the game.

“Actually yeah, I am.” Your smile had faded as the thought of having to see Archie at the football game also entered your mind. You sat back in the booth, your eyes falling low while the argument from last night replayed like a movie in your memory, forcing you to revisit all the hurt you’d felt in that very exact moment.
