The “Team” is at it again !!! Chicken Wings two ways….Lemon Pepper Wings and spices with Fresh Squeezed Lemons. Accompanied with Spicy Asian Sauce Wings and fresh Cilantro. Sweet Jasmine cooked in Coconut Milk, Lemon Grass and Ginger was served as a side. We ate this meal Balinese Style….no utensils.

Daal Baati Churma - traditional Rajasthani dish !! made with multi-grain flour & olive oil, cooked on charcoal grill, served with mixed panchmel daal, fire-roasted aloo bharta, smoked green chillies, cilantro & mint chutney.

Ingredients

  • 150g pack medium egg noodles
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (I used olive oil)
  • 1 pound shrimp
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Small piece of fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • ½ large carrot, cubed
  • ½ green pepper, cubed
  • Other vegetables if you choose (I added mushrooms, zucchini and red pepper)
  • 2 scallions, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • ½ tsp sesame oil (optional)
  • 1 tsp Sriracha sauce (optional)

Preparation

  • Cook the noodles according to package instructions.
  • Meanwhile, add 1 tbsp of olive oil into a frying pan. Add shrimp, lemon juice and 2 chopped cloves of garlic. Cook until shrimp are pink and cooked through. Set aside.
  • Heat the oil in a large frying pan, then stir-fry the ginger, garlic, scallions, carrot, pepper and other vegetables for 2-3 mins until cooked.
  • Drain the noodles thoroughly and add to the pan. Stir-fry for 2 mins.
  • Add the soy sauce, sesame oil and shrimp, stir into the pan, and cook for an additional 1-2 min.
  • Top with Sriracha sauce if desired.
