HC’s About Sasuke Finding Out That Itachi Has A Girlfriend and Child:

  • So when Itachi utters his last words, Sasuke immediately knows they’re names. And not just one name, but rather two names. He wouldn’t have thought much of it, but those were his brothers last words, so there has to be something going on. But he honestly doesn’t know where to start, were they names from the past? Were they people Itachi knew currently? It would kind of drive Sasuke bonkers because he’s just stumped on why is brothers final words were two names.
  • He would make it a part of his mission when he leaves the leaf village, as an adult, to find these two people. He would ask the Hokage for the list of all the members in the Akatsuki and start from there. He would quickly go down the list, noting who was dead. But then there is going to be this name at the bottom of the list, it’s going to belong to a female Akatsuki member that he didn’t really recognize. While they were wanted for some heinous crime, she never stuck out like the rest of them, hence why he doesn’t really recognize her. BUT he would recognize the name as one of the two Itachi muttered before he died. The Hokage would inform him that she’s been AWOL for a few years. People have said they’ve seen her around Kumo, but were never really sure.
  • So of course he’s going to start there. If he finds this person, then they may know the second person and the puzzle will be complete and all will be right with the world.
  • He would end up in Kumo, he would ask around, people would be pretty iffy about the information but one common theme is that they all mention a cabin. So what does he do? Go to the cabin.
  • The first person Sasuke meets when he approaches the cabin is not Itachi’s girlfriend, but Itachi’s child. The small person would in the front yard playing around when Sasuke approaches them. He doesn’t think much of it until he sees their face. The hair color would be the girlfriends, but those facial features, those eyes. Those belong to Itachi, it’s unmistakable. Things slowly start to click, but not all the way, he has a hard time believing that Itachi has a child and needs someone to spell it out for him.
  • The child would notice him and call for it’s mother while slowly backing away from Sasuke (he’s not the friendly neighbor type). Now Itachi’s girlfriend knew all of his fears, one of them being that Sasuke would roll up and kill both her and his child. So she sees him, shoves her child inside the house, and prepares to fight Sasuke. (She knows full well she will not win, but she would DIE for her child because it’s her child AND because it’s all she has left of Itachi).
  • Sasuke would ask for her name, she’d hesitate still anticipating for a fight. But she would give it to him nonetheless. He’d then ask for the child’s name and when that’s given to him, he would finally understand.
  • From that point Sasuke is going to feel a lot of emotions. He’s going to be a little shocked because he never figured that Itachi would be the dating or the baby-making type. He thought that Itachi would just stay by himself until the final fight.
  • He’s going to feel like more of an asshole for killing his brother. I don’t think that Sasuke would have not killed Itachi if he knew about his brother’s family, but he might have lightened the blows. He can partially relate to the child about not having a father. Sasuke had Fugaku but he wasn’t really a father in his eyes; Itachi was more of a father to him.
  • Sasuke is going to be jealous of his brothers family and of his brother. He spent the majority of his life training to kill Itachi. He didn’t focus on relationships or friendships (eh, he did, but that wasn’t his top priority), he lost so many people because of what his brother did. And yet here was Itachi, making memories, being loved, creating a family. Sasuke would rather have that life than the one that was given to him. He doesn’t like that there was someone that got his brother’s affection after all these years. It makes Sasuke feel second-rate and he hates that feeling. He doesn’t like the fact that Itachi got to do some good and got to create good memories, it drives him insane. So if Sasuke seems a little harsh to his new family, it’s mostly jealousy.
  • He’s also going to be extremely happy. He does miss Itachi, especially after the truth was revealed about why he killed the Uchiha clan. So he sees his new niece/nephew as a piece of Itachi and feels the need to protect them so Itachi’s legacy does not burn out.  He’s also happy because now the Uchiha legacy is more secure and that the repopulation won’t strictly rely on him.
  • He would end up going into the cabin with Itachi’s lover and talking things over with her. Now that he has a new family, he doesn’t want them in Kumo. He wants them to come back to the Leaf Village where they can stay near him and where he can protect them. This is his chance to rebuild the clan he lost, there’s no way he is risking that by having them staying in a foreign land. He would also want to teach his niece/nephew the ways of the Sharingan and what it really means to be an Uchiha - but hopefully he doesn’t unlock the clans Curse of Hatred.
  • Itachi’s girlfriend would be hesitant because she has a feeling it’s a trap and that she’ll be arrested. But Sasuke swears she will be pardoned for her crimes and he will bend over backwards to make sure she and her child are not separated. She’ll agree, reluctantly, but she’ll agree.
  • Sasuke is going to keep his promise and gets Itachi’s gf pardoned. Now that there’s an Uchiha to be trained, he does come back to the leaf village more frequently and splits his time from bonding with Sarada and his niece/nephew.
  • Itachi’s gf and Sakura become great friends and Sarada and Itachi’s child become super close.

anyone else have the burning desire to deactivate all their social media accounts and book a flight somewhere and just disappear and live a totally anonymous existence where no one bothers you and you don’t bother anyone

dude, i cant get over the image of merle highchurch, deadbeat dad & insecure burn-out cleric, vanishing in a beam of light as his congregation sang a hymn in perfect, beautiful harmony. and right after that the church must’ve walked outside and seen that the hunger disappeared with him, that they were saved

like… dude came down from the sky, protected his followers from the end of the world, then disappeared, taking with him the beast that swallows galaxies. there is no way he didn’t become some sort of saint or demi-god to those people. he’s mushroom jesus now. if they ever go back to that planet there’s gonna be statues of merle all over and he’ll be INSUFFERABLY SMUG about it

It’s all he can see when he looks at you. It’s the color that paints your lips and it’s the only thing he’s been able to think about all night long.

When he picked you up earlier tonight, on your way to a dinner with a group of friends, his eyes had zoomed in on your lips the second you opened the car door to greet him - while you stepped inside and leaned in to say hello, placing a chaste and pert kiss on his cheek, his eyes followed your lips as you came closer.

“What color is that? Crimson? Bright red?” Is what he thinks, the shades of it swirling in his mind. He doesn’t know and he’s tempted to ask you but to do that was to show he’s been paying more attention to you than he’s got the right to and maybe it’d give you the wrong impression - he’s not interested in your lipstick but more on the way the color makes your lips look full and incredibly inviting.

Biting onto his bottom lip after greeting you quickly, his eyes fleet to his rear view mirror, spotting the patch of skin close to his jaw where you had placed your kiss - a lipstick mark remains, the shape of your lips stamped onto his skin in a bright shade of red.

The sight gave him goose bumps and he couldn’t explain why, but when you leaned forward on his front seat, the visor pulled down so you could look in the mirror and make sure your lipstick was not smudged, Harry felt his stomach sink - images of you on your knees, eyes hazy and lips swollen while you suck on his cock with greedy, swollen and red painted lips, leaving a stain on his length, invaded his mind without his permission and he feels his cock twitch in his pants, heat rising underneath his skin.

A Little D for a Big A-hole.

When I was in eighth grade, my middle school French class took a trip to Québec City. My school was in the whitest part of whitest Connecticut and I had moved there a few years before from Atlanta. You can imagine the Izod-style culture shock I went through.

In any case, we were up in Québec City in February, for some awful reason. Probably because the prices were cheapest for hotels, I don’t know. I do remember it was cold and windy and snowed a lot.

I was a pretty geeky kid, unsurprisingly. I read Star Wars expanded universe novels during the morning reading period. I had disappeared into fantasy worlds after my brother died a few years before, just months after we moved to New England. Since my brother had died and I was a new kid, no one really knew how to be my friend. Some people were nice to me for awhile, but most ignored my existence.

One of the few people who took pity on me was the daughter of my church’s minister, who was in the same year as me. She’d invite me to eat lunch with her and her friends, even though I could tell her friends did not want me there.

Despite growing up speaking French, I was placed in introductory French – and never moved, because there was so much going on with my brother’s accident and eventual death that no one really bothered with my education. Thankfully, my French teacher was kind and would let me help lead the spoken French bits in class. This one boy liked to hang out after class and would mock me after I left, pinching his nose and doing his best “make fun of the French” accent. He liked to make my life hell in other ways, like stealing homework, tearing pages out of schoolbooks, or shoving my shoulder whenever he “bumped” me in the hallway. I had dealt with worse bullying before, so I mostly just tried to ignore him. His was never very serious, but it was constant.

In any case, I asked these girls I ate lunch with if I could room with them on this trip. I did not want to be randomly assigned somewhere. They grudgingly agreed to it.

Once we got to Québec, things changed. Our teachers told us we were allowed to explore the city in small groups and we were to use French only when interacting with shopkeepers and the like. Well, the girls I was rooming with quickly realized I was the only student in our class who actually spoke French. I helped my roommates order things at bakeries and make change and navigate around the city. Word quickly spread and by the end of the first day, several classmates came to me for phrases they could use.

On the second day of this trip, we were all supposed to meet up in this square in the old city at a particular time after being allowed to wander for a few hours. My group turned up a few minutes early and a group of boys – with my favorite harasser – was already there. The boys were clearly planning some kind of prank; there was a lot of stifled laughing and looking our way. The harasser came over to our group. He asked me how to say, “Are you my mother?”

Well, for those who don’t know:

“Es-tu ma mère?” means “Are you my mother?”

“Es-tu ma merde?” means “Are you my shit?”

Can you guess which one I told him? He had never paid attention in class, so to his ears (and the ears of our classmates), it sounded right. And no one would ever suspect quiet, mousy, geeky me of any shenanigans.

He went up to a stranger and asked her if she was his shit just as one of our teachers came around the corner. He got hauled by his ears, the teacher apologizing profusely to the woman while simultaneously scolding my harasser. Kid immediately tried to blame it on me but his protestations were immediately dismissed. The teacher did check with everyone, but no one had heard the difference in the language used so backed up my version of events.

He had detention for the rest of the trip and was not allowed to participate in any of the activities. He had to sit on the bus and write an essay.

He was far more cautious about being an a**hole to me in the future.

  • Neoliberal: Marxism is such an outdated way of looking at the world. Classes are disappearing and the future looks brighter than ever! =)
  • The world: *eight people control more wealth than half of humanity and climate change threatens to upend life as we know it*
  • Neoliberal: At least it's not seven people, and Bill Gates will develop something that will save us all =)

I love you. I love you. I love you.

While thinking about how Mashima cried drawing an ending of a character, I doodled this. I imagine that in the end Zeref’s curse will be lifted but he will disappear from this world. Zeref will finally be able to express his love. Till the very end, he holds two people most dear to him in this world, Mavis and Natsu, and says “I love you” over and over again.

The mystery of Aang's blocked Chakra!

I don’t know if this has ever been mentioned or talked about before, but, guys, when Aang is fighting the fire lord he is forced to take refuge in a earth ball protecting him from the firelord if only for a little bit.

This is important. First, it’s literally Aang’s go to defense mechanism. His air ball he rides around on, the air ball he forms in his avatar state and it’s similar to the sphere he was “hiding” for a 100 years.

Think about it the creators are literally ending the story in almost the same way it began. Aang was forced to come out of his frozen airball by Katara and the need of the world. When he comes out Aang is all but still the same kid who ran away from his destiny and “failed” his people all those years ago.

Now he’s facing a man who feels no remorse over the slaughter of his people. Aang is forced back into a ball of protection all the while hearing how his people never even deserved to live and that he was weak. But Aang’s not weak he’s holding his own against Ozai. Everything Ozai is saying to belittle Aang is only filling him with more power even though his rock ball is breaking apart.

When it finally breaks the only element left is air. The element of his people. Aang knows he might’ve failed his people but he will not fail the world. He can’t disappear, he can’t run. He has to end this.

And then boom! Aang hits his back on a rock, directly on his lightning scar and then we get all these flashes of when he was shot down and flashes of all the past avatars. This whole scene stands to remind Aang that he cannot fail, not again.

Maybe it wasn’t significant enough in how he unlocked his chakra but after paying close attention to all the details in this round or rewatching I realized something about Aang’s blocked chakra.

People continue to assume that his chakra is still blocked because he refused to let Katara go, but in Crossroads of Destiny Aang literally blocks himself off from the fight to let Katara go in order to access the avatar state. He had to unblock this chakra to even enter the Avatar state which means letting Katara go wasn’t the reason his chakra was blocked after being struck down. I think the real reason is connected with how Azula struck him down, and the failure that comes with that. He lost that fight, he died. There is no getting around that and in the Awakening when Aang wakes up he feels like he failed the world all over again. This is made more obvious when Katara is treating his back and he is thrown back into the moment he was struck. He was watching the exact moment where he felt like he “failed” the world again.

Now we all know Aang has a major fear of failure and this just adds to it. By letting himself be struck down he let himself fail. Thus this is how his chakra is blocked.

And now in Sozin’s comet Aang is backed up into a wall, trying to avoid the Firelord knowing that if he gives up he fails the world, again. But then he’s thrown into a rock, forced to relive how he failed the world and he resolves deep inside himself that he’s not going to fail again. He forcibly reminds himself of who he is. He is not just the last airbender but he is the Avatar. And he will defeat the Firelord. This is why he finally is able to access the Avatar state in the finale.

And then it’s a big slap in the face to Ozai when Aang comes out of the rock and latches onto his beard and sends him on the run. Because how dare he call the Avatar weak. How dare he call airbenders weak, call Aang’s people weak. In these moments Aang is not only feeling fear of losing the war but also unbelievable rage at Ozai for saying all this things. But this time when Aang enters the avatar state and with the help of the past avatars he can control his emotions and channel them into defeating the Firelord.

Not to mention that the first strike Aang throws at Ozai is a powerful windgust, because even though he’s feeling the power from all four elements, air is rooting him and letting him stay in control of his Avatar state. And this is the reason Aang can stop himself from killing Ozai. Aang is in control and stays true to his people.

And that ladies and gentleman is my reading of Aang and Ozai’s fight. This show means way too much to me.
