“The people at Marshall amps invited me to play at their "50 Years of Loud” concert at Wembley Arena. Joe Satriani, Yngwie Malmsteen, Zakk Wylde, and Kerry King were also featured. I did my own set with Mike Portnoy on drums, and I also jammed with Joe Satriani with Nick McBrain (from Iron Maiden) on drums. Everyone jammed together to close the show with a massive version of “Smoke on the Water.” The audience was fantastic and of course the Marshall amps rocked the arena like they are built to do. Thank you, Marshall. And thank you, London!“ - Paul Gilbert
Hello from Australia! I’m having an excellent time playing guitar, and am also enjoying lots of passion fruit and mangoes. I’ve been too wiped out from jet lag to do VEs, but my sleep patterns promise to improve soon. In the meantime, I wanted to remind everyone to ROCK.
Tired of playing the same thing over and over again? Yeah, you can learn licks from YouTube or tab, but wouldn’t it be great to finally put it all together and learn how to REALLY play?
Welcome to the Paul Gilbert School of Rock Guitar!
For the first time, Paul breaks down his entire approach to guitar -in order- for beginner, intermediate and advanced players. You get hundreds of streaming lessons and tab to go along with it. Plus you get the ability to show Paul what you’re doing and get personalized feedback designed to take your playing to the next level.
Paul Gilbert made his name with Racer X, solidified it with platinum-selling Mr. Big, and reached new heights on the G3 Tour with John Petrucci and Joe Satriani.
