A Splash of Creativity (artisticheather)
Vanellope found herself more than a little bored at present. She couldn’t think of much to do, and since her friends were otherwise occupied at the moment it left her with very little in the means of options. Gobbstopper and Skittle had been left behind once again, as she had thought the two looked a bit unwilling to tag along, and Vanellope decided to wander about near the entrance of the game. She’d quickly tired of this, though, and decided to lean up against a nearby formation of candy. This did little to cure her of her boredom, but it was better than pacing around like she had nowhere better to go.
“What’s a girl gotta do to find something entertaining around here?” she wondered out loud. Sure she could have gone back to the candy cane forest or even to some other haunt of hers, but today she didn’t feel like it. She just wanted to find something new to do. Maybe even someone new to talk to. Vanellope wasn’t sure if she’d find either of those things by hanging around near the entrance of the game, but part of her hoped she would. It was just a matter of waiting to see if anyone came along.
Hazel eyes went up to the rainbow sugar bridge and Vanellope frowned a little. Still no newcomers. It was a little odd for her, seeing as she always seemed to be welcoming people those days, but today nothing was happening and nobody was showing up. Would that change any time soon?
