When in Scotland: Arthur’s Seat

I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while now so I am excited to finally do it (and it’ll be mostly pictures! Hooray!) My favourite thing about our time in Scotland was the ability to walk about 1/2 mile from the flat we were staying in to a huge park area with hiking trails. I don’t really want to call them mountains but I don’t think hills are an adequate term for these large masses of earth so I guess I will call them mountains. Anyway, we spend part of two of our days hiking around with the boys and we were very very impressed with them, especially when we took on the more difficult of the two mountains and climbed up to Arthur’s Seat. Overlooking the city AND the sea was AWESOME (in the traditional sense of the word) and here are the photos:

Yeah, my dorm is at the base of an inactive volcano that is said to be where King Arthur used to sit. 🌋👑 #itscasual #pollockhalls #edinburgh #edinburghexchange #studyabroad #halls #arthursseat #kingarthur #scotland #scotland2k15 #lol #storybook #magical #universityofedinburgh #volcano (at Arthur’s Seat)
