No Place Like Home

A solo exhibition held at the RVCA Corner Gallery in Melbourne, June 2015

“No Place Like Home’ explores the idea of leaving, returning to and creating a home. The possibility of what a new environment can hold. The desire for comfort, familiarity and to put down roots.

With this body of work, Octigan continues his use of form, figure, composition, color and texture to represent these ideas. Contrasting realistic rendering with dynamic abstractions to produce larger, compelling, paintings on canvas.’
