As many of you know, and some may not, Sue Klebold LOVES art. She is one of the most beautifully artistic people I’ve ever met, and her ability to capture ever essence of real life is magnificent.
You can see many of her drawings, like these hanging in Denver at the School of Botanical Art and Illustration at the Gardens.
This is a photo of Sue and Christine Hubbell on a trip to the Nature and Science Museum to do some still life sketching.
You guys, I can’t even tell you how obsessed with Yvonne Smink I am right now. THIS.
THIS IS BRILLIANT.
By far some of the most innovative, unique, intriguing, well composed, and still mind-blowingly difficult pole dance work I’ve ever seen. I can only hope to one day be this comfortable on a pole.
And she didn’t even place!! That really says something about the competition system. Sometimes champions (while still effing badass, I mean go watch Olga Trifonova’s routine it’ll blow your head off) aren’t putting the most important work out there. Taking a risk is a big deal in a competition. I super respect that.
