“Hands All Over Me” by Tamaryn // Cranekiss (Out 8.28.15 via Mexican Summer)
I managed to miss posting this earlier in the week when it was officially released, but being a bright and sunny Sunday morning, what better time to share Tamaryn’s shimmering new synth pop jam. “Hand All Over Me” certainly feels like a big shift from the artist’s previous work in soaring, widescreen dream pop and shoegaze vistas - and that’s just fine once you hear what she has in store for the future. Working with producer Jorge Elbrecht (Violens, Ariel Pink) and Shaun Durkan (Weekend), Tamaryn has dove deep into 80′s indebted synth pop that still maintains a little of her previous works’ dreamy, psych pop influences. It’s an absolutely killer track. Mark August 28th down as that’s the release of her new full length, Cranekiss, which hopefully carries a lot more of this excellence!
