When really we’re just two broken people trying to learn to love again.
‘Listen to me,’ cried Syme with extraordinary emphasis. 'Shall I tell you the secret of the whole world? It is that we have only known the back of the world. We see everything from behind, and it looks brutal. That is not a tree, but the back if a tree. That is not a cloud, but the back of a cloud. Cannot you see that everything is stooping and hiding a face? If we could only get around in front -’
Hey guys, just letting you know that we’re almost wrapped up on our first episode of Nerdy Opinions. It will either drop tomorrow or on Saturday, so keep an eye out for that! This has been a very experimental process for us, and we learned a lot in the making of it. We’d love to make this an ongoing series and really take the opportunity to improve upon the format based on what we’ve learned.
idk I just love how we Young People Today use ~improper~ punctuation/grammar in actually really defined ways to express tone without having to explicitly state tone like that’s just really fucking cool, like
rape being used as a weapon of war is so heart wrenching. it was used during the partition of india, the french used it in algeria, serbians used it against bosnian women, it’s being used right now in syria and what’s so heart breaking is the fact that women choose to commit suicide because of the possibility of being raped. humanity never learns, we really have failed.
I know I said NO SU spoilers here but this thing have been floating in my mind a good while…
WARNING: SPOILERS BELLOW
I know people is complaining about “Rose shattered Pink Diamond but then told Bismuth and her weapon to gtfo!” and yeah I am as mad as everyone for bubbling Bismuth but…
In this bomb we met other Quartzes, aka: other soldiers, people who would have REALLY been in the war, and we learn that they are not inherently bad.
They are afraid of their superiors and because of that they follow their orders, using Bismuth’s weapon would’ve imply shattering many soldiers like those Quartzes, innocent gems that are just too scared of the ones upon them.
Because let’s be real, the possibilities of many of the “higher” gems going to battle is really low, since they are more “important”. Like in The Answer where Ruby acknowledges her presence in Homeworld is irrelevant, but Sapphire is important, because of that they where commanded to protect her.
Rose tried to not harm innocent gems, but the only way to “free them” was killing their dictator.
Every single kpop group in the industry deserves a win to be honest. They all work their asses off despite all the adversities they face, and they sacrifice so much, even when there’s such a slim chance of even reaching success. It’s admirable really, and we can all learn from them.
The robbery really scared us, but it was a learning experience. We are now more aware that flaunting how disgustingly rich we are might be inviting the wrong type of attention. From now on, the family we will only be showing pictures of themselves in reasonably priced clothing and in homes that appear to be assisted living or less. I, however just received some custom-made Balmain pieces that I can’t wait to show you guys as soon as my new closet is remodeled in my suite.
wow I can’t believe it’s going to be a year without the starman. bowie seemed like an ethereal being, like he was something infinite and divine. which is also why I still can’t manage to wrap my head around the fact that he’s not present on this earth anymore. wherever he is, I hope he’s doing well. I hope he knows that a lot of us miss him very much.
the reason i want Lance to be the black paladin is because it would be so good for him, and not JUST Lance, but the rest of the team too. say what you want about Allura being a better candidate, and while it would be logical to have her lead, she already has her leader traits fleshed out. but something she and the rest of the team really need to learn, is supporting each other.
we all know Lance is really insecure about himself, and suddenly being thrusted into the role of a leader would be very overwhelming for him. he will need support from his teammates to help him get through this and have him learn to believe in himself. this means the team will have no choice but to learn to support Lance and accept him as a leader figure. they will have no choice but to start taking him seriously and not brushing him off. they will have to learn to respect him more than the teammate that cracks jokes and flirts around with aliens. they will have to learn to respect his choices and follow his lead. everyone will have character development if Lance becomes the black paladin. he is the best option, he can make a wonderful leader if people would give him a chance and the time to develop.
• Do a lot of research. Books are probably your best bet for learning astrology - the best astrologers have written books filled with information you probably won’t be able to find online.
• Take it one at a time. Don’t mix different parts of astrology together until you’ve mastered one part first. Signs > planets > houses > aspects is how I learned.
• Incorporate it in your daily life. Practice on your friends. Practice predictions on yourself.
• Keep a note journal/write notes in your phone. I do this because I usually find myself having random astrology related epiphanies throughout my day and forget them later. Keeping a log of how you feel under certain moon phases/signs is useful too.
• It’s okay if you need to google something when answering a question, doing an interpretation or if you just forget. No one really knows everything about astrology. We are all still learning. Don’t feel bad if you need to fall back into a resource, we all do sometimes.
Gravity Falls Fandom:
Yeah, and there's this one character, one of the main ones, whose name we never learn! The creator might tell us at some point but for now we don't know that one character's first name
Obviously ppl attacking Vilde have only seen s3, because my girl Vilde only means we’ll she’s just really inappropriate at times. And we know she only ever learns and grows from her mistakes. She cares so deeply, and always means well. Vilde is a great character. Stop attacking her for being ignorant and give her a chance to learn like she ways does.
