Grappa is a pomace brandy, which means it’s a liquor made from what’s left after the grapes are crushed for wine. The EU takes Grappa very seriously and has 3 criteria: Has to be made in Italy, the Italian part of Switzerland or San Marino, Must be made from pomace, & fermentation and distillation must occur on the pomace — no added water. It is commonly served as a digestive or after-dinner drink to aid digestion.
Really my only comment here is if you get a flaming drink, know how to drink it before you put your lips up to something on fire. I didn’t think you needed to warn people, but after seeing a couple of clip shows I feel it’s worth putting out there. Blow that shit out!
