Arachnopeziza aurelia is a species of ascomycete relatively common in Europe, but difficult to locate because of its small size and birth semi-hidden by plant debris. It is a tiny but beautiful saprophytic ascomycete, easily determined in the field by its appearance and red-orange color [source].
