april solicits

Oh yeah, if you missed it, Ian Flynn is confirmed to be returning as IDW’s lead Sonic writer, which is very exciting news! Tyson Hesse will seemingly be involved in some capacity, too, since he provided some promo art for IDW. Whether he’s penciling or just doing some covers or what, though, we’ll have to wait and see

It’s also confirmed to be a new continuity, which isn’t surprising at all, but still no word on if it’ll be based more directly on the games or if Sally and friends will be back or if they’ll introduce a new cast or what

The first four issues of the new series are all launching in April, though, and solicits for those issues should show up several months ahead of time. We don’t have that long to wait before we find out what IDW has in store

Yo-kai Watch: THE COMIC BOOK!

Holy Yo-kai Butlers, Batman!

Discovered by “succubusdicks” on the Yo-kai Watch subreddit, Yo-kai Watch is getting a comic book in April 2017!

http://www.cbr.com/idw-publishing-solicitations-for-april-2017/

I used to be big into comic books as a kid, then as a man-kid I tried to get back into them with My Little Pony and The Powerpuff Girls, but I eventually couldn’t afford the drive to the comic store and back along with the prices, so I’ll be trying to find a way to subscribe online this time … or just buy each issue individually, since that’s likely easier.

I didn't see Avengers Assemble on the April solicitations. Is it over? :(

It is indeed.

Ellis wants me to tell you he “murdered it with special English curse magics,” but in truth the book fulfilled its mandate, so it’s done with issue 25.
