*Baking pie for Jelli* Wonder if they like apple pie. Well most do so it’s a safe-ish bet. I hope they don’t think I’m weird for freaking out on them like that. Of course I HAD to get a crush on Jelli right after I MET THEM! Gahh.. what is wrong with me. I never fall in love this easily. *sighs and continues to make apple pie for Jelli.*
On this first Sunday of Fall, let me share with you a delightfully autumnal lunch, whicht treats the traditional roast to seasonal flavours. And besides all that, this
Apple and Spice Caramelized Duck only requires a few ingredients, a minimum prep time, and not even that long in the oven!
Lightly grease a baking dish. Sprinkle duck drumsticks evenly with salt, black pepper, and Pumpkin Pie Spice
on both sides, and rub seasoning in little. Place drumsticks, skin-side up in the baking dish, and place in the warm oven.
Roast at 410°, for 40 minutes. 10 minutes before the end of cooking time, drizzle drumsticks generously with Rosemary Apple Jelly. Return to the oven for the remainder of the time, until beautifully caramelized.
Serve Apple and Spice Caramelized Duck warm, with Roasted Fall Vegetables.
