Fall is here.
Life of late has been bursting from the seams with joy, so much so that I’ve found myself going for weeks (months) without taking even one glance at this blog.
My days have consisted of music, dancing, poetry books, scribbled handwriting within journal pages, puppy snuggles, long hikes outdoors, even longer shifts at work, smiles, laughter, tears, self-reflection, healing, growth. And love. So much love.
It’s remarkable how some people slip into your life, ever so softly, increasing in significance so gradually that it almost goes unnoticed… and then one day it suddenly occurs to you that you can’t imagine life without them. That they are as integral to your existence as oxygen is to your lungs.
(He brings the sunlight.)
It’s October, it’s autumn. And I find myself in love with the crisp air, the fiery leaves, the crackling fireplaces, the cozy pajamas. In love with life, in love with each breath, each stubborn heartbeat; in love with a beautiful boy who speaks the language of my soul.
