Hoodie Sewing Tutorial Supplies: 2 ½ yards of your main fabric 1 yard of accent fabric (for the hood and pocket liner) Thread (a direct or close match to the fabric you’ll be sewing) Zipper at a length of your choice Measuring tape Scissors Pins Drawn pattern with measurements you’ll be using
**Cutting board note** Cutting boards with marked measurements are great. Color coding measurements helps even more by making measuring more accurate, and cutting down on time. Instead of counting inches and/or aligning your chalk lines by number, you can align them by color. It’s easy to miss-measure by an inch, if you’re not careful, but coloring your measurement lines really makes accuracy much easier.
