anyways sorry if i teased you guys a bit but whatever

Writing is Hard, part 7: The Shower

Summary: Dean doesn’t appreciate the story you write about your first time.

Read Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6

Warning: Smut, awkward sex gone wrong (but it gets fixed!)

Word Count: 3000ish

A/N: This is all written with love for fan fic. I’m teasing, not putting it down in any way. Hope you enjoy! (Sorry, tag list is closed!) XOXO

It’s a little sweaty when you wake up. Dean’s on his stomach with his face turned away from you, snoring a tiny bit, his body sprawling over the king-sized bed and leaving you curled up in one tiny little corner.

He does look good, though. The sunlight can’t get through the curtains, but you left a lamp on, and the muscles of his back are all exposed in the dim light. You lean up to get a better view and appreciate him fully, and instantly groan. Your muscles hurt. Apparently, you’ve been curled up in knots all night, and you desperately need to stretch out.

Green-Eyed Monster (Jughead x Reader Smut)

Prompt: Hey I was wondering can you make a smut one where like jughead gets jealous because you’ve been spending a lot of time with another guy for whatever reason and he confronts you about it ? Thank you so much in advance I’m like in love with your blog ❤️❤️❤️

Hi! Can I have a Jealous!Jughead Jones smut? Maybe Y/N is spending a lot of time with Archie and Jug gets jealous (duh) and shows her who she ‘belongs’ to?

A/N: Jealous Jughead is my life purpose. Hopefully I did okay on this one! Sorry it’s short! Requests are welcome.

Warnings: Jealousy? Light Smut. A few swears?

Green-Eyed Monster (Jughead x Reader)

It all started with Archie asking you to help him with his english paper. It was known around school that you were good at english and had a keen eye for editing so it wasn’t out of the ordinary when your ginger friend asked for your help.

You had already finished and edited your own paper as well as looking over your boyfriend, Jughead’s. So You simply shrugged and told him to meet you at the library.

After the first meeting, Archie asked you to help him with some other stuff so he could keep up his grades for football. You agreed as you’re always happy to help out a friend.

That was Monday.

You told Jughead that Arch needed help with homework and that he was welcome to come as well but he simply shrugged, walking away with a frown on his face.

It’s been a week and your boyfriend has been acting differently since you started hanging out with Archie more. You guys moved your meeting from the Library to Pop’s and Arch always offered to pay as a thank you for helping him.

Modern Amis (and co.) Coming-Out Headcanons

(I don’t even remember how the subject came up but @beatlemaniacinthetardis and I were taking about the Amis getting together at someone’s house and telling each other stories from when they came out of the closet. We stayed up way too late last night coming up with these so we felt the need to share)

Bahorel comes out to his family when he goes downstairs in the rainbowest of rainbow shirts, announces that he’s going to Pride, and just sort of stares at each of them until they understand.

Courfeyrac realizes he’s gay in his preteen years and it takes him like a year to work up the courage to come out to his friends (Enjolras and Combeferre) and family (mom and dad). When he tells them they all just go “sweetie, we know”. Enjolras and Combeferre bake him a confetti cake that says CONGRATS in edible glitter. Courfeyrac cries.

Feuilly doesn’t really have anyone to come out to, since he has no living relations and he went straight into a job at a young age. He kind of…forgets to, to be honest, so he’s not out to his co-workers. They only find out when Bahorel comes to get him from work one day and he kisses Feuilly hello.

Like in canon, Cosette grows up into a pretty girl who loves attention. She’s very meticulous about the way she looks and is like nice when she notices guys checking her out. One day, though, a pretty girl smiles at her and does the checking-out thing and Cosette is like oh no when she feels her heart do the THING. She tells papa later that evening, and he’s amazing and supportive because, well, he’s Jean Valjean. He joins her marching in the Pride parade the following summer.

Enjolras’ coming out doesn’t go so well. He’s pretty much known he likes boys since forever ago, but only tells his parents at the end of high school. His parents are cold and arrange a Nice Girl for him to marry at the age of 25 or whatever. Enjolras fights with them on it, but when they continue to stand firm he decides they don’t deserve to be in his life anyway. He moves in with Combeferre, who he came out to years ago.

Joly and Bossuet, who have basically known each other since birth, come out to each other before anyone else. They then make a pact to come out to their friends and family on the same day. Bossuet’s parents don’t take it so well–his dad is pissed, and his mom tries to push him to go back to church. His friends, too, say “yeah that’s cool” but he can tell every time he says something that even approaches the subject of his sexuality that they’re weird about it. Joly’s, on the other hand, went well. His friends start teasing him like “yeah man I bet you thought you had appendicitis the first time you saw a guy you liked” and stuff, but they’re cool with it. Joly’s family ends up pretty much adopting Bossuet, too. Bossuet’s parents come knocking for him one day and Joly’s four younger siblings work together to slam the door in their face. (Bonus: since those two have a hivemind, they tell each other about being poly the same day.)

The subject of their combined affections, Musichetta, was a total badass about her coming out. She told her parents straight up that she was poly/pan. They were not sold on the idea, but she told them to accept her as she was or she’d leave without a second thought. It takes them a while to get used to the idea, but Chetta answers whatever questions they have. They grow to understand her, and come to love Joly and Bossuet once the three of them start dating.

Jehan has a hard time with it all. They WANT to come out, to family and friends alike, but they want to understand themselves before they try and explain it to anyone else. They tell this to the Amis who are all just like…you don’t have to ever figure it out. It’s alright. No matter who you are or what you do or who you love, we’ll be here to support you. Jehan cries really hard because they’ve been so confused for so long and their found family is saying that it’s okay to be unsure forever because who needs a title anyway? The greatest of group hugs happens that day, Jehan smiling in the centre of it. (Bonus: shortly after that, Jehan asks the Amis to start saying “they/them”. Grantaire buys a ton of neutral-looking clothes with gross flower print that he knows Jehan will LOVE. Enjolras falls in love with R a lil bit more since he knows he doesn’t have all that much money but he spent a bunch of it for Jehan to be happy and comfortable anyway).

Combeferre comes out to all his friends shortly after he meets them, but he never comes out to his family at all. He knows they’re homophobic, and a) he doesn’t like to start fights, and b) he decides that they don’t deserve to know. In an act of silent rebellion, he secretly gets a part-time job as a sales guy at a boot shop for drag queens. Courfeyrac’s the shop’s #1 customer. (Kinky Boots AU someone back me up here)

While Marius is almost entirely on the straight side, but every so often he’ll meet a man who sets his little Pontmercy heart aflutter. Courf is one of those guys and when they end up roommates Marius kind of…”aksdjasgkdhdh Lord save my poor bisexual soul”. But then he meets Cosette. He doesn’t tell her for ages because he’s terrified of what she’ll think, but eventually he works up the courage. She laughs because hey she’s bi too!! From that point on, they point out attractive people of various genders to each other while they’re on dates. (Bonus: one day, Marius and his grandfather get into an argument about politics over dinner. In a moment of passion, Marius stands and yells “LONG LIVE NAPOLEON! ALSO, I SOMETIMES LIKE BOYS!” His grandfather faints into his chair.)

Eponine never really had friends, so she has no frame of reference for what romantic attraction feels like. When she meets Marius, she figures instantly that what she’s feeling is romantic love. Shortly after, she meets Cosette and feels the same way. Now she’s confused. And then she meets the rest of the Amis and feels the same way about ALL of them. It’s very strange to have a crush on everyone, she thinks. With Grantaire and Jehan’s help, she comes to understand that what she’s feeling is, in fact, platonic love. And god, is she relieved to know. The only family members she tells about being aro/ace are Gavroche and Azelma. Azelma is like “I think that might be me too” and Gav is like “sweet, more lovely ladies for me”.

FINALLY, Grantaire. He’s never really given a shit about what gender his lovers were, and never given a shit about who knows about it. He doesn’t know or care whether or not his parents know. But oh, god, then he meets Enjolras, and can no longer imagine loving anyone else of any gender. When the Amis share their coming out stories, he just snorts and says ‘does it count if you’re only attracted to one person?’ and he accidentally stares at Enj as he says it and the Amis collectively suck in a breath because if they didn’t know who he was talking about before, they certainly do now.  (Bonus: Everyone braces themselves when Enj stands up and goes to R, thinking Enj is going to try and start shit, but they start applauding when instead Enjolras grabs Grantaire’s face and kisses the life out of him).

So now you were at home, in your most sexual underwear, ready for Theo to come round.

The Other Side

Based on this adorable kitty;

Hopefully this helps anyone who’s having a bad day or not feeling well!

That damn cat.

That damn, lovable, awesome, badass cat that he was so proud of, that he practically bragged about nearly every single day to his coworkers, was gone.

Poof, right out the window, like the black shadow he was. And Gajeel was close to tearing his hair out just trying to find the cat on his own. Two weeks had passed and he was terrified that Pantherlily was dead, in a shelter, or worse; in a little kid’s bedroom with a pink as fuck bow around his neck. Pink was not the cat’s style, and he was worried that if the cat retaliated, he would end up in a shelter.

Still, it was nerve wracking as the days went by, with not a single hit from the local shelters or anyone calling from the flyers he put up. ’Who even does that anymore anyways?’ He thought, grumbling under his breath as he hooked up the safety line to the building. He should’ve just stuck with Facebook and hoped for the best. But then again, he didn’t use the site as much as some people he knew, and hated when his friends urged him to go on it more. It was a waste of time and energy when he had barely any for a social life, let alone killing time on the net. He was better off doing his own thing, like looking for his cat.

He sighed as he began scaling the building, dragging the sponge and squeegee over the glass panes that overlooked the busy city beneath. Window washing was a part time deal that his uncle had saddled him with, mostly to keep an eye on his idiotic and rather destructive cousin, Natsu. The guy meant well, he supposed, but had far more fun swinging than cleaning, causing more mayhem and shenanigans than they could handle. Thus far, only Gajeel had managed to make the situation slightly less of a hazard for them, mostly by promising him to spar once they were on the ground and off the clock. Which seemed to have worked so far; there were fewer accidents now than then.

Natsu had even helped with the search for his cat, declaring that there was no replacing such a friend like his cat, touching the normally surly man. Yet, another day had passed and there was still no sign of the asshole. He bit his lip as he descended another level, worry beginning to gnaw at the back of his brain. What if he wasn’t alright?

A tap on the glass startled him, making him almost drop his sponge. He cursed as he whipped to the glass, only to nearly drop his jaw.

A girl waved at him from the other side, grinning mischievously as he recovered, scowling at her as he pointed at the ground then shook his finger at her. She ducked her head bashfully, mouthing the word “sorry” as she bit her lip. He shook his head as she turned back to her apartment and whatever she had been doing. He had to admit, he mused as he stared after her retreating figure, that this job had its good days along with the bad days. She was cute, and a bit of a distraction with her short, wild sky blue hair and short petite body. Washing her windows was definitely the highlight of his life, despite the subtle teasing and jabs from others about her.

As cute as she was, he still had to focus on finding his cat. It was getting too depressing at home not seeing the cat or hearing his annoying meows for food. And it was worse at nights when he couldn’t feel the tiny weight curling up on his feet in bed, purring lightly after spending minutes kneading the blankets before settling down. He sighed as he descended another level, almost done with the blue haired girl’s apartment, vaguely registering the black ball of fuzz that stared at him.

He was in the middle of dragging the squeegee across the plane when he did a double take, staring wide eyed at the cat. Sure enough, there was the familiar scar that crossed the cat’s brow and scraggly looking whiskers. This time, his jaw did drop, and indignant rage pooled in his gut as he pointed at the cat.

If his roar didn’t shake the foundation of the building, the verbal spew that erupted from his mouth would have. He cursed, ranted and raved, waving his arms almost comically as the cat sat calmly, watching him in a bemused fashion. Something behind the cat startled him, and he turned to flee as the girl approached the windows again, her eyes wide with curiosity.

Great, just great,’ he thought, snapping his mouth shut and blushing. He pointed at the cat, who looked at him from behind a chair and shouted as loud as he could, “That’s my cat!”

She blinked, confusion crossing her face as she turned to Pantherlily, then back again. He groaned when she whirled and walked to a table, pulling a piece of paper out of a pile nearby. He glared at the cat as it returned to the window, bunting the glass as smugly as you please.

“Just you wait till I get you home, you little butt,” he said, poking the glass. He couldn’t quite believe it, his cat was alive and well. It was somewhat of a shock that he was here of all places, tucked away in the girl’s apartment as if he had planned it. Maybe he had, the cat was far more clever than he appeared. But if the girl had taken him in, then maybe she was worth more than a few wistful stares and waves from the other side of the glass.

She was coming back to the window, paper in hand as she knelt in front of him, stroking the cat’s back. Now that she was closer than before, he could see her better than he ever could hope to. And good god, she was prettier than he expected. She smiled shyly as she held up the paper to the window for him to read. He squinted as he leaned forward, then broke into the biggest grin that he had in two weeks, laughing delightedly as he nodded at her.

I assume that this is your cat, so whenever you’re done, come to 609 so we can talk?’

anonymous asked:

Hiya! Love love love the fics you write! It brings a smile to my face seeing the stories you put out :) If by chance you're still taking prompts, could you do one where Bets and Juggy don't really know each other but Jughead gets a job as the pizza delivery guy and Betty (who has a little crush) ends up ordering pizzas frequently just so she could see him

Thanks! And aww this is cute!
Throwing her head on top of her text book, Betty sighed frustrated. What was she doing wrong? It was calculus, her favorite subject, so why was her brain just a pile of mush tonight?

Her parents were away for three weeks, some journalism conference her mother had dragged her father on. The absence of the constant hovering helped her to relax and she took a deep breathe. She was tired, juggling midterms, extra curriculars, and her part time job at the Riverdale bakery, was really taking its toll and she definitely wasn’t getting enough sleep.

Suddenly the sound of her doorbell ringing snapped her out of her thoughts. Dinner. She grabbed the money off her desk and practically ran to retrieve her pizza. Tripping on a sneaker by the door, she stumbled out bumping right into the boy holding the paper box.
“I am so sorry! I just tripped…” trailing off, her eyes widened when she saw the familiar looking boy at her front door.

Jughead jones, mysteriously dark and handsome as ever. She noticed him nearly everyday, he never payed her any attention, but he never really payed anyone any attention. Ronnie always teased her about the way she stared at him in the halls. He was ridiculously handsome, but he hid it behind crown shaped beanies and headphones. She knew for a fact she wasn’t his type, but that didn’t stop her from admiring him.

“It’s okay, gotta watch out for rogue sneakers.” He was smirking shyly, as he held out the pizza for her. She smiled back apologetically handing him the twenty dollar bill.
“It’s Jughead right? We go to school together! I’m Betty. Betty..”
“Betty Cooper” he cut her off “I know who you are” he said quickly, looking away from her face.

She blushed prettily “oh! Well it’s nice to finally meet you, face to face.”
He nodded, shooting her a genuine smile
“It’s nice to meet you too Betty cooper.”

She giggled “well I better get back inside. This calculus homework is kicking my butt.” She groaned

“It’s Friday?” Jughead said raising an eyebrow and smiling.

“Hey, midterms wait for no one mister!” She scolded gently.

He laughed, stepping off of her porch
“I’ll let you get to it then, have a good night ms.cooper” he tapped his nose, walking back to his delivery van.

“Night juggie!” He turned around at the nickname, raising a brow and smiling curiously.

“What?” Betty giggled “I like it. It’s cute.”

Rolling his eyes he turned away
“Whatever you say… bets.”

She laughed, as she walked back inside. Leaning up against the closed door, she couldn’t help the squeal that came from her lips. She totally had to text Veronica.

Saturday night was spent alone again, leaning over a text book trying desperately to memorize the formulas. It was impossible. This whole damn class was impossible.

The doorbell rang, and she nearly jumped out of her skin. Pizza. Jughead? She reallly hoped so. Adjusting the light yellow tank top, she ran her hands over her bare legs, exposed in her barely there sleep shorts. Alright Betty cooper, here we go.

Opening the door, she couldn’t help the grin that spread across her face when she saw it was him. As soon as he saw her smile, he matched it with his own.

“Two times in two days, to what do I owe the honor?”
She giggled “you owe it to my very hungry stomach.” She reached for the pizza.

“What’s got you all on your own on a Saturday night, figured a girl like you would have plans.”
He asked nonchalantly, weighing the box in his hands.
She raised a brow “a girl like me?”

“Popular, cheerleader, captain of the Riverdale track team?” He shrugged

She laughed “I haven’t gone out on a Saturday since I was thirteen. As you’ve mentioned, I’m a bit busy most of the time. Anyway I’ve gotta master this stupid calculus packet, or I won’t be going anywhere for a very long time.” She sighed, leaning against the door frame.

Suddenly his fingers were reaching for her and she stifled a gasp as he plucked the pencil from out of her hair.

“The packet mr.seas gave us? I just finished that this morning. I could help you if you’d like.” He stuck the pencil in his mouth and stared her in the eyes.

She felt her eyes being pulled down to his mouth, gently chewing on the pencil. She snapped back to reality.

“Really? That would be so great! But don’t you have to finish your shift?” She asked concerned, no way was he getting in trouble over her.

He smiled “you’re my last stop of the day. I’ve just gotta drop off the van, I can be back here in half an hour.”

She was practically a bundle of excited nerves now
“Yes! I mean totally, that would be awesome.”

He laughed

“Alright, it’s a date”

They both stared at each other wide eyed, realizing what he had just said, when she saw his mouth move to take it back, she cut In

“It’s a date.”

He breathed a sigh of relief and turned to walk away

“See ya soon sunshine.”

Long Way Home

Dude this one was so fun to write. Hopefully everyone likes reading it as much as I liked writing it! I honestly wouldn’t be opposed to making this into a series, but I don’t know how realistic that would be. (Also AYEEE ROSIE FIGURED OUT HOW TO ADD GIFS)

Request: can you write something where cal is a nerd, and you’re kinda popular?? lots fluff and just have fun with it !! // Anon! Thanks so much for this one. I hope you love it :)

Title: Long Way Home

Summary: Calum’s been crushing on you for as long as he can remember, but your differences in social status have proven to be a bit of a roadblock. However, things start to change when you approach Calum with a simple proposition.

Words: 2k (WOW this got away from me)

Warnings: None? Maybe a tiny bit of language?

You looked great today. Your hair was impeccable, your outfit was put together perfectly, and as you laughed with your friends across the courtyard, Calum couldn’t help but stare. It sucked, honestly.

He’d been practically in love with you ever since you moved into his neighborhood when you guys were ten. You two were best friends for a while, until middle school, anyway. The problem that presented itself at that point was the fact that you were the cool new girl from another country, causing your popularity to skyrocket. And unfortunately, Calum and his friends were a bit lower on the social pyramid, making any chance of a relationship with you almost unattainable.

“-right, Cal?”

“Huh?” Calum turned to face Michael, blinking out of his reverie. “I mean, uh. Right. Yeah, I agree.”

Michael grinned. “You agree that Mr. Peters is a total babe?”

Michael, Luke, and Ashton all burst out laughing, causing Calum’s face and neck to heat up.

“Pay attention to the conversation next time,” said Ashton around his laughter, “instead of staring at Y/N all day like a creeper.”

“Shut up,” Calum muttered. “What were you asking, anyway?”

“We were asking when you were planning on actually talking to Y/N,” said Luke, and Calum elbowed him.

“Very funny.”

“No, in reality we were just asking if we were on for rehearsal tonight,” Ashton explained. “I asked if we were still all set to have it at your house.”

“Oh, yeah,” Calum nodded. “Sure.”

Suddenly Ashton and Michael, who were seated across from Calum and Luke, went quiet, focusing on something behind them. Calum frowned at his friends. “What—”

Michael suddenly began coughing and Ashton smiled at whatever it was behind Calum. “Hey, Y/N!” Calum’s eyes widened and Michael waggled his eyebrows.

“Hey, Ashton,” came the sound of your voice, and Calum almost groaned in annoyance. Just the sound of your voice gave him butterflies.

“How’s your day been?” Michael asked casually, and you stood at the end of the table so that you could see all of them, pressing your palms to the surface and leaning forward slightly.

“Pretty good, thanks, yours?”

Michael replied with a “Good, thanks,” before you turned to Calum.

“Do you wanna walk home today?”

Calum tried to contain his surprise, simultaneously trying to force a blush from creeping up onto his face. “I… what?” He turned around to glance at your friends, to see if they were staring over here and it was all some sort of prank, but they were all laughing or doing homework as if nothing was off.

You laughed, and once again, Calum’s heart lurched. “Yeah, um, I finished all of my homework and I don’t have soccer today so I figured I’d just head home. I was wondering if you wanted to walk together since we’re neighbors and all.”

“Y-yeah,” Calum stuttered, then cleared his throat. He could feel his friends’ gazes on the two of them, like vultures. “Yeah, I don’t see why not. When were you planning on leaving?”

“Oh, whenever works for you!” you said with another dazzling smile. “I’m up for whenever, but I don’t want to rush you or anything.”

“Actually, we were just finishing up,” Luke chimed in, closing his textbook. The other guys followed his action, packing up their things and clearing the table. Calum wanted to strangle each and every one of them right the and there.

“Perfect,” you said. “I’ll go grab my stuff. Meet you at the main entrance, Cal?” The use of your nickname for him almost made Calum visibly freak out. He was already pretty sure you could hear his heart beating from where you stood.

“Yeah, sounds good,” he said as calmly as possible, and with that, you nodded, flashing another smile and saying goodbye to the other guys, and turned to head back to your table. Calum watched your retreating figure before turning back to his friends.

“Guys, what the fuck.”

“What?” asked Michael innocently.

“‘Just finishing up?’” Calum mocked.

“We were helping you out!” protested Ashton.

“Yeah, you’ve been in love with Y/N for how long now?” Luke added.

“You guys suck,” Calum groaned, packing his own things. “You legitimately suck balls.”

“Only on Tuesdays,” Michael retorted. Calum flipped him off.

“I’ll see you guys later, or something,” he said, heading toward the courtyard exit.

“No detours, Cal-Pal!” Ashton called and Calum shook his head, ignoring his friends and heading toward the school’s entrance to meet you. It was a short walk, so he found you almost immediately. Unfortunately, you were talking with a few of your friends, who were also pretty popular. In all honesty, Calum almost marched straight back into the courtyard because he was afraid he would embarrass you in front of your friends if he tried to talk to you. For all he knew, you were talking to them about how you had to walk home with him and how annoyed you were!

Then Calum’s logic told him that no, you had asked him to walk home together, and you actually weren’t a bitch like some of your friends. So, Calum came to a brilliant solution to his dilemma: ignorance.

Shouldering his backpack and taking a deep breath, he started walking toward the doors, walking straight past you and the people you were talking to. He figured he could act as if he didn’t see you, instead heading outside to wait. And sure enough, almost immediately after he stepped outside into the October air, he heard you call out.

“Cal, wait!”

He turned around to see you rushing in his direction, finally slowing down when you reached him. “Sorry, I didn’t see you,” he said, and you shrugged.

“No worries. I was talking to a few friends so I got caught up, sorry.”

“No worries,” Calum repeated, and you looked up at him with a smile that made his heart flutter.

“So,” you said, “shall we go?”

“We shall,” Calum replied, causing you to giggle, and suddenly he felt bit more confident. This wasn’t so bad. The two of you began walking, and a comfortable silence settled until you broke it.

“Hey, why don’t you play soccer?” you asked randomly, and Calum shrugged.

“You mean football?” he teased, and you rolled your eye, smiling nonetheless. “Dunno,” he continued. “Not my thing, I guess.”

“Um, I cry bullshit,” you replied, and Calum’s eyebrows shot up as he turned to look at you.

“I’ve seen you play, Calum. You’d fit in really well with varsity, trust me. Plus, you were always great when we played as kids.”

“I just didn’t want to, I guess,” he insisted. He didn’t want to admit that he was too shy to try out, considering the boys’ football team was full of pigheaded morons who already probably hated his guts.

You only shook your head, shrugging. “Your choice, I guess. I really shouldn’t be criticizing you for a choice you made.”

“It’s okay.”

Another silence settled, and Calum took the time to look around. A lot of cars were on the street, full of people coming home from day jobs.

“Um, thank you,” you suddenly said. “For walking with me, I mean. I don’t usually walk and you were in the courtyard too, so I just wanted to ask. For old times’ sake, you know?”

Calum smiled at that one. That was one of the reasons he liked you so much; you didn’t care about popularity. You didn’t try to forget or ignore the fact that you two were best friends several years ago. Calum was grateful for that.

“I get it,” Calum said.

“I do wish we talked a bit more,” you continued, and Calum found himself in shock yet again. You wanted to talk to him?

“Me too,” he said honestly. “You friends kinda hate me though, I think.”

“What! No way,” you protested. “They just… they don’t know you, that’s all. You aren’t close with them.”

“It’s alright,” said Calum with a shrug. “I know I’m kind of a dork. I’ve got my friends though, so I’m happy.”

You smiled at that, and it made Calum’s knees weak. “That’s a good way to look at things.”

The two of you continued to walk and talk with one another, and Calum genuinely enjoyed your company. It wasn’t awkward like he thought it would be, and you weren’t patronizing him like he had dreaded you would.

He realized with a start that you guys had almost reached your neighborhood, so he turned left as opposed to right, opting to take the long way instead. Hey, he wanted to spend as much time with you as possible. He wasn’t sure when this would ever happen again.

At that point, the sun was getting lower in the sky. As you pointed out a couple of birds, smiling and laughing as you did so, Calum noticed that you were literally glowing in the fading sunlight. The orange light outlined you like some ethereal halo, illuminating your features and giving your eyes an even more vibrant look than usual. His breath hitched a bit as he marveled at how beautiful you were, but when you turned back to face him, he acted as nonchalant as he could.

Shit, he was so screwed.

Eventually you had reached the neighborhood where you lived, and Calum was both sad and relieved. Sad because his time with you was ending, but relieved for the same reason. He didn’t want to fall for you even more when you were so untouchable and, quite frankly, out of his league. Like, way out of his league.

“Thanks so much, Cal,” you said when you reached the foot of your driveway. “I had a really good time.”

“Yeah, me too,” he said with a smile, a genuine smile. He was ecstatic to hear that you actually enjoyed the time you spent together.

“We should do this again sometime,” you suggested, and Calum had to physically stop himself from jumping for joy.

“Totally,” he agreed. “It was fun.”

“I’ll let you know when the soc-football season ends,” you told him, smiling as you corrected yourself. “We’ll make more of a habit out of this. For old times’ sake, right?”

“I like that idea,” Calum said honestly, and you nodded.

“Well, I’m gonna head inside. Thanks again, Calum, really,” you said, placing a hand on his arm and squeezing a bit before smiling and turning to walk up to your house.

Calum ran a hand down his face, letting it linger over his mouth and jaw. Holy shit, he thought as he watched you enter your house. His hand then found its way into his hair, disheveling the dark curls. Holy shit.

He slowly turned to walk back to his own house, almost directly across the street. He couldn’t wait to shove in his friends’ faces the fact that things went so exceptionally well.

Unbeknownst to Calum, you had made your way up to your bedroom. You watched from the window as your neighbor headed home, and you couldn’t help but smile widely, heart still beating rapidly. So okay, maybe you did have practice today, but the coach loved you and you figured you could just tell her you didn’t feel too well.

And fine, maybe you were kinda, sorta, maybe crushing on Calum.

You could only hope he felt the same way.

Hiii! Would you please write a Clony fic where Tony and Clay get caught making out?!? ❤️;)

Read it on AO3

1 – Ryan Shaver

The first time Clay and Tony get caught making out is unfortunately, by Liberty High’s biggest gossip. It is about a month into sophomore year and so far Clay has managed to avoid being in something scandalous enough to be printed on the pages of the infamous ‘Lost and Found’ zine’, however there was no way he was going to avoid this one. It started about a month ago, this… thing he had with Tony. He couldn’t really put a label on what it was, all he knew was that it was fun and exciting, and Tony sure was a goddamn excellent kisser. So excellent, in fact, that Clay decided that waiting until after school to put his mouth on the other boy was far too long a stretch to go without.

‘I don’t know what he sees in you!’ 'Fatso!’ and 'Ugly!’ were not exactly the comments you were hoping for, but ones you were expecting.

Now That You Mention It

Prompt:  Write-a-Thon day one- AU day

Pairing: Lin-Manuel Miranda x Female!Reader

AU: Highschool AU

Word count: 2,763

Warning: None

Summary: Reader tries out for the school’s next theater production, In The Heights, and unexpectedly gets the role of Vanessa. You’ll never guess who plays Usnavi.

A/N: Yep, here it is, Day one, done. Almost three hours later than I was hoping. But at least I got it out. I hope you guys enjoy!

It all began a month before tryouts for the school’s next musical production would begin. It was during lunch time. You were sitting in the courtyard while everyone ate inside. It was cold, which was a downside, but no one else was out there, meaning it was a quiet area for you to study.

At least it had been, until Lin-Manuel, a good friend of yours, and also your crush, had decided to join you. The only problem had been that you didn’t notice him coming outside, which means you didn’t stop singing under your breath until it was much too late. The cafeteria doors had opened and Lin had started making his way towards you. He was halfway to you before you noticed he was even there.

“Hey, (Y/N)!” Lin greeted as he sat down beside you. “Was that you?” He asked, brow quirked in curiosity. You let out a nervous laugh, determined to deny the accusation at all costs.

“Was what me?” You shot back, crossing your arms. Lin’s expression changed from one of confusion and curiosity to one of amusement

“The singing. That was you wasn’t it?” You frowned, shaking your head. It was obvious you were lying, no one else was even around, but you were still determined to stand your ground.

“Singing??? No, of course not.”

Lin let out a laugh. You both knew you were lying here, but Lin decided to humor you anyway.“Then who was it? There’s no one else out here.”

You froze, trying to think of any of your peers that you could’ve blamed the singing on. No one came to mind. "I dunno, It was just some… dude.”

“Some dude?”

“Yeah, soo, if you’ll excuse me,” You tried to quickly gather your things and go, wanting to escape the situation, but Lin quickly grabbed your arms before you could get too far.

“Why are you trying to hide it? You sounded really good.“

"It wasn’t me I swea- wait, what?” Did Lin, the star of your high school’s theater club, just compliment your singing? You must be dreaming.

Lin gave you a lopsided grin and let go of you, sticking his hands into the pockets of his baggy jeans. “Your voice is really good. Why aren’t you in theater?"

You were flattered by the compliment, but you had to try and hold back a laugh. You? On stage?

"I’m not an actor, Lin. Not really a singer, either. And I’m terrible in front of others. Basically, I’m just unfit to perform to anyone but my bathroom mirror.”

Lin simply smiled and shrugged. “Well, auditions for In The Heights are in a few weeks. I won’t force you, but I’d really like to see you there.” Before walking off, Lin sent you a charming grin, one that made your knees go weak. You hated the effect he had on you.

You seriously considered joining theater that night.

You’d never been too interested in performing before. You thought it always looked fun. Lin, Chris, and the other members always looked like they were having such a good time on that stage.

You though? You on a stage would be a disaster waiting to happen. You were clumsy and you definitely didn’t have as much experience as the others. Your voice wasn’t as trained as the rest of the theater club, neither was your dancing. You’d just make a fool of yourself.

You considered your decision and made up your mind. You weren’t going to try out.

Or, so you thought.

Lin continued to ask you if you thought about joining theater and every time you said yes he’d get this wide grin that would only go away when you told him you decided not to.

It seemed like Lin made it his job to get you to try out for the school’s next production. He constantly told you about trips and events the theater did, more than he usually told you about stuff like that. Chris, both yours and Lin’s close friend, even started talking more about theater around you. You were convinced Lin had persuaded him to do it.

You eventually decided to do it. It was partially because you knew he wouldn’t leave you alone otherwise but it also sounded like a nice experience. If you got in and liked it, you could continue doing this sort of thing. If you didn’t get in, you could just move on to something else.

You told Lin a week before auditions that you decided to try out. He never looked happier.
That’s how you found yourself waiting patiently with the rest of the very talented and experienced students auditioning. You felt completely out of place, to say the least. But the thumbs up you received from Lin and Chris as your name was called was at least a little bit encouraging.

Everything went well enough. You sang a song from the show and you even sounded pretty good. The theater teacher didn’t seem too impressed, however, so you didn’t expect anything to come from it.

You were rather shocked, to say the least, when Chris started dragging you through the halls the next Monday with no explanation other than. “You need to see this.” Where you ended up was in front of the auditorium, behind a large crowd of kids.

“Why am I here, Jackson? School starts in twenty and I still need to study for the test in third-”

“Shhhh! Just come on,” Chris grabbed your wrist, muttering “excuse me” as he pushed through the crowd. Eventually, you found yourself face to face with a casting list and smiled. Putting two and two together, you searched the list, figuring Chris was excited for the part he got. You assumed you were right when you found your best friend’s name, beside it was the name ‘Benny’

“Hey, way to go! You got the part you wanted!” You said, beaming up at him. He rolled his eyes

“No, you dummy, look!” He exclaimed, pointing sharply at the top of the list. Your eyes directed toward his fingers, confused at what he was trying to show you.

Your eyes landed on the second character at the top of the list, Vanessa. As your eyes trailed to the other side of the paper, you felt your skin grow pale.

“You’re kidding. I got the part of Vanessa!?”

“What the hell? But Karen killed it at auditions.”

Chris laughed at you, shrugging. “Well I guess you did better than her.  She’s your understudy.”

“Karen’s my understudy!? Karen’s too good to be my understudy!"

Chris chuckled again, throwing his arm over your shoulders. "And look who got the lead,” Chris said pointing to the name above yours.

You looked to the character above yours, Usnavi, and felt your blood freeze.

“Lin? Lin Is the lead?”

“And your love interest."

"Chris!!” You screeched, pushing him away,  "I can’t do this!“

"Sure you can.”

“Has Lin seen the list yet?”

“Nah, I don’t think he’s here yet.”

You groaned running a hand over your face. “Well… I need to get to the library, Chris. See you in third, and congrats again on your part.”

Chris grinned as you pushed yourself out of the crowd, leaning against the wall. “Thanks, (Y/N)! You too!”

Chris once again laughed as you let out a loud groan. Maybe you shouldn’t have done this after all.
Two weeks into rehearsal and you had to agree, it was a ton of fun. The whole auditorium was full of good people who were great to be around. And you made a whole new group of friends. Your closest friend on stage was Karen, who you were actually terrified for the fist week would hate your guts. She was actually incredibly kind and supportive, and told you on numerous occasions how much you deserved the role instead of her.

“You’re just so talented,” She told you one day after rehearsals, “I can’t believe you never joined theater before."

"Well, I’m not really a performer,” You said with a shrug, zipping up your bag, “This was just kind of a last minute decision thanks to Lin.”

The sly smile that raised the corners of her lips told you nothing good. “That’s right, Lin convinced you to join, didn’t he?”

“Yeah. He even got Chris in on it.”

“He must really like you If he wanted you to join so badly."

You shrugged. "I don’t know. Me and Lin are pretty good friends I guess.”

“Just friends?”

You sighed, rolling your eyes as you slung your backpack over your shoulder. “Not you too. Chris has been teasing me endlessly since the cast list was released.”

“Well, he totally likes you.”

“Yeah, because me and him are just good friends.”

Karen scoffed. It was her turn to roll her eyes. “Oh come on, (Y/N). Don’t pretend Lin is your friend we all know that he looovess youu,” Karen teased, nabbing a line from the show. The blush on your cheeks was bright and hard to hide.

“Karen! Be quiet, isn’t he still here?"

"Hey, (Y/N), Karen”

You let out a gasp at the sudden voice from behind you and turned to see Lin, packed and ready to go. “You guys heading out?”

“U-um, yeah!” You rushed out, hoping he didn’t hear your conversation. “Karen was gonna give me a ride to her place.”

Lin looked suddenly disappointed but hid it quickly. “Oh, alright. You guys have fun then."

"Why do you ask, Lin?” Karen questioned, mischievously, resting her hands on her hips.

“Oh, no reason in particular!” Lin said, fumbling over his words. “I was just going to ask (Y/N) if she wants to come over- work on some lines or whatever.”

“Aw, I’m sorry, Lin. Maybe after rehearsals Thursda-”

“She’d love to Lin!” Karen said, pushing you towards the theater star. “I just remembered i can’t hang out anyway, have to do some stuff for my mom. See you two later!”

“What the hell, Karen?” You muttered under your breath, taking a step back from Lin.

Before you knew it, Karen was gone. You and Lin were alone. “Uh.. That was weird.” Lin said in an attempt to break the tension.

“Yeah, no kidding.”

“You don’t actually have to come over if you don’t want to, you know. It was just a suggestion.”

“No, I’d love to!” You said hurriedly, blushing when you realized how eager you sounded. “Besides, Karen was my ride. And she just ditched me, soo….”

Lin perked up at your words, suddenly excited. “Great! Let’s go!"
Thirty minutes later, Lin was pulling into his driveway. You were slurping down a milkshake that Lin had gotten you on the way, despite your attempts to pay for it yourself. He had insisted.

"Neither of my parents are going to be home yet, and I think Luz is studying at a friends house, so we can be as loud as we want.”

You giggled as he wiggled his eyebrows at you and followed him to the doorstep. “Shut up, Miranda.”

“Make me, (L/N)” He mocked as he put the house key through the lock and opened the door. You stayed silent.

“Do you want anything?” He asked as he slipped into the kitchen. You waited awkwardly by the front door, unsure if you should follow him in.

“Yeah, I want you to let me pay you back for this damn milkshake."

"Not happening, (Y/N). Let me be a gentleman,” his voice argued back before he emerged from the kitchen with a coke. “Now come on, my room is this way.”

The short walk down the hall to his room stirred your nerves and brought butterflies to your stomach.  Not only had your evening plans changed entirely within seconds, they had changed from going to your friend’s house, to practicing lines with your crush.

Lin opened the door to his room, dropping his things beside his bed plopping down on top of it. You dropped your bag beside his door and closed it behind you

“So… Where to start?”

You Practiced a bit of It Won’t Be Long Now, Then he practiced his monologue in Alabanza, which actually had you in tears. You helped him run Hundreds of Stories, acting as Abuela. As the night crawled on and you were about to leave, Lin asked you to run one last song. The one song you were hoping he wouldn’t ask to practice.

“I know it’s getting late but can we do one last song?”

“You raised an eyebrow, but nodded "Yeah, sure. Which one?"

Well, we haven’t done Champagne a lot during rehearsals. Do you mind?"

"Ch-Champagne?” The kissing scene.

“Y-yeah! Sure thing. I mean- that’s a good idea.” You quickly turned away from him so you would shut up and flip through your script to get to the song.

“Cool, cool…”

Script in hand, flipped to the right page, you moved to the opposite side of the room, by his desk. “So, just start at the beginning of the song?” You asked, skimming over the little bit of dialogue before the song starts.

You nodded and stared down at the papers in your hand, realizing your hands were shaking. You read your first few lines before dropping your arms at your sides.  You took a deep breath, cleared your throat and began to sing.

“So I got you a present. I went downtown to get it. Doing anything tonight?”

“Done for the day?”

“No way…”

“Cause we got a date-”

“Okay!” You giggled at how Lin perked up, as if he was really excited at the idea of a date with you.

“Before you board that plane… I owe you a bottle of cold champagne….”

The longer you sang, the less nervous you began to feel. You had stopped shaking, stepping completely into Vanessa’s shoes. The longer the song went on, the less tense you felt, It didn’t feel like you were (Y/N) and Lin. Now you were Vanessa and Usnavi.

“I’m going down to West Forth Street. You can take the A-”

“What are you trying to say?” By now, Lin had stood up from his bed, abandoning his script on the sheets.

“You’re leaving the country and we’re never gonna see you again!” You turned your back to him, feeling actual tears brim in your eyes, actually feeling Vanessa’s pain.

“What are you trying to say?"

"You get everyone addicted to your coffee then off you go!"

"Vanessa, I don’t know why you’re mad at me…” You heard his voice directly behind you now. It startled you enough to turn around and face him again. You were face to face, staring into his dark brown eyes.

“I wish I were mad…” You sang, your voice trailing off. You both knew what came next, though it was always skipped during rehearsals. The kiss.

Your lips were on his before you could stop yourself. Your arms threw themselves around his neck, his wrapped tightly around your waist. And in the midst of the moment, Vanessa faded away and you were (Y/N) again. You were yourself again, and you were kissing your crush.

You felt like you were about to faint.

When you pulled away from him, your voice cracked as you forced out your last line.

“I’m just too… late…."

A grin formed on Lin’s lips as he looked down at you, his hands falling from your waist.

"Good job. You did really good.” He said, smiling nervously.

"The singing part or the kissing part?“

"Well I meant the singing part, but now that you mention it, the kissing wasn’t so bad either."

Your buzzing phone snapped you out of the trance you’d been pulled under. You reached into your back pocket to check who it was. It was you mom, coming to pick you up from Karen’s. You forgot to tell her you went somewhere else.

"Ah, that’s my mom. I should probably call her and tell her I’m not at Karen’s.”

“Alright, no problem. I’ll walk you out?”

You stuffed your script into your back and threw it over your shoulder, allowing Lin to lead you to the front door, hand resting on the small of your back. He opened the front door for you and smiled, gesturing to the outside world. You smiled at him and started to step out, stopping yourself before you left.

“Hey, Lin? This was a lot of fun. Can we do this again sometime?”

Lin raised an eyebrow, leaning against the front door.

“The singing part or the kissing part?” He imitated you from just moments before.

“Well I meant the singing, but now that you mention it…”

[ Last Night ]

“So Columbia, huh?” Lucas smiled, plopping himself down on the sand. The other four were still making their way up the beach when he decided he needed to take a break. Riley sunk down next to him, pulling her knees against her chest. “What was your major?”

“Journalism.” She answered politely, “With a minor in Anthropology.”

“Those seem like two very different things.” He chuckles, “Why Anthropology?”

Riley shrugs, “I don’t know… I guess I like people. I’ve always been a people person.”

A small smile falls on his lips, “Wow.”

“What?” Her face drops, suddenly very self conscious.

“It’s just… that was refreshing.” He laughs, shaking his head. “I’m so used to people being pessimistic y'know? Like everyone is always talking about how people suck and that they hate everyone. It’s just nice to hear.”

“As an eternal optimist I have a lot faith in humanity, sometimes a little too much.” She smiles, glancing at him quickly before looking back down at her hands. “Most people think of it as being naïve.”

“I don’t.” He replies without hesitation. “I think it makes you special.”

The Pine Tree

A/N: Heyyy guys long time no see? Yes, writing this latest chapter was like wresting a rattlesnake while balancing a few ceramic plates on top of my head, but here it is! Plus I already started working on the new one, so hopefully it’ll be out relatively soon. In the meantime, enjoy this small detour before the plot rears its ugly head again.

“Hey, who’s the new guy? He’s kinda cute.”

Dipper tore his eyes away from the book he was reading to stare at Wendy in mute horror. She was glancing from the corner of her eye at Bill, who had taken the opportunity to rearrange all the snow globes on the shelves as a petty way to spite Grunkle Stan. Why they even let Bill into the gift shop was anyone’s guess. So far, all he managed to do was to scare away customers and give everyone a headache. No one recognized him so far, which was a good thing, but most of these people were just passing through the town anyway, and had no idea about the disaster that took place last summer.

Wendy had just come back from a hiking vacation with her family, and since nobody expected her to be back so soon, they had no idea what to do with Bill. Dipper assumed they would have to tell her eventually, seeing how she was a regular employee, and was definitely smart enough to connect the dots by herself at some point. Better to warn her ahead of time than to wait until she dragged in an exorcist or something. Not that Dipper though it would work. At all.

But Hearing his past crush call the devil in disguise “cute” was something vaguely traumatic. And it showed, because Wendy suddenly looked concerned. “Hey Dipper, are you okay? You look like you’ve just seen Stan in his underwear again.”

The Boss’s Daughter

* Request: I was wondering if you could do a John Laurens imagine where you are Washington’s daughter and you rush into one of his meetings without knowing he was in one and you meet John. Then you meet again at the winter ball and it’s like helpless.

A/N: Done! And now proof read. Thanks to everyone who liked it and told me it was good. It was shit. Like the grammatical errors made me cringe. But its all better now! It’s easier to enjoy!

You strolled through your house. You needed to see your father for a moment but you really should’ve thought about things for a minute. There was a war on and your dad was the general. He’d have very important meetings all the time. However, you waltzed right to the door of his office and barged in without even knocking. You froze in the doorway when you realized your father was talking with two young soldiers. “Oh. Sorry.” You squeaked. You knew you should back out of the room but you were frozen in embarrassment.

“Uh, Washington? Who’s that?” The shorter of the two men asked.

“Is that important Hamilton?” He asked the man. Hamilton. Of course. Alexander Hamilton. You heard your dad talk about him a lot. Hell, your dad praised the man as almost as much as he did you. He spoke of him like the son he never had.

“Well, I guess its not important. But Alexander and I are very curious Sir.” The other man spoke up. He was just staring at you with a strange look on his face.

“Seriously, Laurens?” Your dad asked him. John Laurens. Another name you heard a lot. According to your father he was a young soldier with a lot of potential. You thought you can add extremely attractive to the description. He had freckles spotting his face and his hair was full of tight curls. You could only tell because a few strands had fallen free of the pony tail he was sporting.

10/? - Annabeth

The McCall’s couch was comfortable. It was better than the motel bed that Annabeth and Percy had been staying in, anyway. It was soft and long enough for Annabeth to stretch her legs out, and she felt relatively safe there, but she couldn’t sleep.

Percy was lying on a blowup mattress on the floor beside her; she could hear him breathing, a steady rhythm in the otherwise silent lounge. She wanted to check if he was awake, but didn’t want to disturb him if he was asleep.

So Annabeth was stuck lying on her back on the couch, staring up at the ceiling of this strange house and running over everything that she’d learnt over the last day.

Werewolves could be friendly, for one.
