anyway he has a gr8 face

when i first saw s02e08 i must admit shiros reaction was kinda off?? i mean he just watches keith fight those guys. he doesnt even move at first. id expected him to at least grip the edge of the table and lean in a bit, showing his helplessness and frustration!!! but he doesnt!!! the fuck!!!

ahh i disagree? first of all… there is… no table for him to grip onto. what would he be leaning into.

i think the problem here is that in the relationship between keith and shiro, we tend to fixate on how dedicated keith is to shiro. with good reason, too (the boy is HOPELESSLY dedicated to him). but i think something that gets overlooked is how much shiro respects keith, and how much he trusts him. if their situations had been flipped, would keith have run in to interfere with the trial guns-a-blazing? maybe. probably. but just because shiro doesn’t do the same doesn’t mean he cares any less.

shiro’s immense respect for and trust in keith is something that’s thrown in our faces continually throughout the series, even from the very first episode. just a couple of examples:

this one might be my favorite:

he is not happy that keith wants to do this. shiro is aware that infiltrating zarkon’s base is dangerous and that keith could be risking his life. he is visibly upset by this, but steels himself and agrees to support him because he TRUSTS keith. it’s a recurring theme. he may not like that this is what keith is doing, but the only thing he can do once keith’s made up his mind is support him. i probably sound like a broken record at this point but i can’t emphasize how much he trusts keith’s judgement and is willing to support him through it all.

“Show Me!”  ~  Remus x reader

“Could you do a oneshot where a muggle reader has been dating remus lupin for a little while and he’s nervous to tell her that he’s a wizard and everything, and then when he does, she kinda freaks out (but, like, in a good way) ;) thanks pal u r gr8″ ~ Anon

Thank you for the request! I loved it!!!! I’m sorry for taking a few days to write it. I’ve been a bit busy with theatre and cleaning. Anyway, I hope you enjoy! And thank you!😊

Summer was finally here. Remus found himself in the muggle world once again, knocking on the door of a very familiar house. A smile appeared on his face. He was happy to finally see his girlfriend for the first time since Christmas.

A woman opened the door. “Remus!” she exclaimed. “Please, do come in!”

“Is y/n here?” he asked.

“She’s up in her room.”

He nodded and headed up the stairs. He knew this house very well now. He’d been dating y/n for quite some time. Her bedroom door was open, but he still knocked. It was polite.

Y/n jumped up, startled by the knocking noise. “Remus!” She ran to him with her arms open wide. “I missed you!”

Remus chuckled. “I missed you, too, Love.” He gave her a peck on the lips and smiled fondly at her. “So,” he continued. “what do you want to do today?”

Y/n shrugged. “I don’t know. We could go to the village shoppes, the cinema, lunch…”

“Lunch sounds good.”

“It does.” she giggled.

He intertwined his gingers with hers. “Then let’s go.”

They raced down the stairs together and headed for the door. “We’re going out for lunch, mum!” y/n called out.

The lady called from the kitchen. “Okay, dear. Be careful.”

“We will.”

Remus and y/n arrived at their usual lunch spot. They took a booth by a window.

“So how was your school year?” Remus questioned.

“It was great!” y/n replied. “Except for writing papers for my literature class.”

“I understand that all to well, but for History and Po- Chemistry.”

Y/n gazed at him. “How was yours?”

He reached his hand across the table and placed it over hers. “It would have been better with you.”

She pouted her lip at him. “Awww! You’re the sweetest.”

He rolled his eyes and chuckled nervously with a smile.

“You should have written to me.” She bit her lip flirtatiously. “My mailbox was rather empty.”

Remus did the same. “I’m sorry…”

The waiter came to the table and took their orders. It didn’t take long for their food to arrive. They gazed at each other as they ate. No words were needed. Soon, they were on their way back to y/n’s house.

Y/n sat down on the side of her bed.

Remus shut the door. “I need to tell you something.”

Y/n drew concerned. “What is it?”

He sighed nervously. “I- uhhhh…”

Y/n listened.

“There’s a reason I didn’t write.” He sat down beside her.

“Remus! Are you brea-”

He grabbed her hand. “No! No no no!”

“Then what is it?”

Taking a deep breath, he answered. “I’m a wizard.”

Her eyes widened. “What?”

A big grin appeared on y/n’s face. “Really?”

Remus didn’t expect that reaction from her. He nodded his head. “I’ve wanted to tell you for a long time. I just… I was too nervous. I didn’t want you to leave.”

She wrapped her arms around him. “Me? Leave? Never.”

He placed his lips on hers, twirling her hair in his fingers as he kissed her. He pulled away slowly, but lingered.

“Can you show me?” she asked in a whisper, her lips still touching his.

“I can.” He backed away a bit more. “But, only because I’m 17 now.” He pulled his wand out from the pocket on the inside of his jacket and pointed it into the air, standing up doing so. “Expecto patronum.”

Y/n watched a wisp of white mist form into a wolf in her ver own bedroom. It was intriguing. It ‘danced’ around the room for a minute or so, then dispersed into this air. She clapped.

“Thank you!” Remus joked.

She stood up and hugged him amorously once more. “That was wonderful.”

He chuckled. “One more thing.” Playing with her hair some more, he went on. “If you receive post from an owl, it’s from me.” He smiled and gave her another quick kiss. “I’ll try to make it arrive on a Sunday.”
