The Mysterious Girl (Loki Laufeyson x Reader)

Request: Hi can a request a fluffy Loki x reader fic where the reader is in a situation where she cannot talk often (maybe her voice causes glass to crack and shatter and people to fall unconscious) instead she uses actions to convey her feelings. when Loki arrives with his brother for redemption he tries to get her to talk by annoying her to no avail. They’re alone one time and the reader snaps telling him to stop; he falls unconscious and she cares for him until he comes to. Please and thank you!!

Loki was not happy. Not happy at all. Why wasn’t he happy? Because he was on Midguard. And what was wrong with being on Midguard? Thor, his brother was there. And he was stuck with him.

“Brother, do not worry. I’m sure that my comrades will not hate you. That much,” Thor comforted, slapping his brother on the back.

Stumbling forward, Loki looked back at his brother and scowled. “Oh, yes. I’m sure those mortals just love me after all that I did.”

Sighing, Thor looked at his brother. “You knew not what you were doing. Besides, you are repentant.”

“Am I?” Loki sassed back, earning a disapproving look from the ‘better’ sibling.

“Well, you will be. At least once they are through with you.”

Rolling his eyes, Loki trudged along beside his brother, looking up at the building. Sure, it was impressive for Midguard standards, but not for Asgard. If that was even his home anymore.

“Welcome, to the Avengers,” Thor announced, pushing open the glass doors with ease.

This will be just great, Loki thought to himself as he followed his oaf of a brother inside.

Well, could be going a lot worse, Loki thought as his brother’s teammates glared down at him.

“Why do we have to keep him here again?” Clint asked through gritted teeth, glaring at Loki. Hand tight on his bow, he never removed his eyes from the god.

“Look, I’m not excited about reindeer games being here either,” Tony grumbled.

“But there is no other option, apparently,” Nat finished the sentence, remembering all too well what she had to do to her best friend to get him out of his head.

“He is my brother,” Thor started, looking them all down. “You will be courteous to him, even if he is deserving of your hatred and spite.”

“He destroyed New York with an alien army,” Steve said, glaring at Loki.

“And tried to take over the world,” Bruce added.

“He’s adopted,” Thor said sheepishly, to which Loki rolled his eyes. Bored, Loki began to look over his foes- allies. Most of them Loki remembered. Some, were new. Like the man with the metal arm, the red man, the girl with glowing-red eyes, and many more. As Loki skimmed over his subjects- friends, his eyes landed on one girl in particular. She was odd, but not in the bad sense. She was odd in the sense that she was quiet, odd in the sense that she distanced herself from others. Curious, Loki continued to look at her, until she noticed and began blushing prominently. Her eyes darted towards Clint, and he saw immediately.

“You stay away from her,” Clint almost growled, moving in front of the odd girl. Loki did not care though. He was intrigued by this girl and wanted to know more. Wanted to know what she liked and disliked, why she was here. One way or another, Loki was going to know that girl.

Two months have passed since Loki arrived at the Avengers compound, and things were a little better. The others were talking to him now, and Loki wasn’t sure if he liked it or not. The company was nice from time to time, when they weren’t glaring at him. Loki always brushed them off though. Some people just don’t understand that he had changed.

Mainly, for her.

Loki had tried everything to talk to the girl. Anytime that he nearly got close to even saying hello, the mother hen swooped in between them.

“No way,” Clint growled one day, standing in front of the girl once more.

“I just want to talk to her, I’m not bad anymore,” Loki had pleaded.

Laughing, Clint shook his head. “Yeah. I’ll believe it when I see it. And good luck talking to her anyway, she-”

But before the mother hen could even finish his sentence, the girl had tapped on his shoulder. The girl had obviously communicated to the arrow man, Loki just did not understand how. She didn’t move her lips, but rather her hands. When Loki first saw this, he thought she was doing magic.

“Are you a sorceress?” Loki had asked in amazement, to which Clint glared him down, offended.

“Out.” He demanded, and Loki quickly made his way out, not wanting to find out what would happen to him if mother hen got any angrier.

So Loki’s quest to talk to the mysterious girl continued, always trying to get close to her. Over the two months that he had been there, he had learned three things about the beautiful and mysterious girl:

1) She did not like mornings. Her face scrunched up in the cutest of ways whenever she was woken up before 9 a.m.

2) Her favorite color was green, or so Loki assumed. She always wore some article of green, whether it be the oversized green sweatshirt she stole from the man with the metal arm or her green shoes, which she wore everywhere.

3) She loved movies, more than life itself apparently. Whenever Loki was looking for her to talk to her (before mother hen showed up), she was sitting in the room with the screen, a different movie on it each time he saw her. Some days it would be little cartoons dancing and singing across the screen, others it would be miniature people falling in love. Without fail though, Loki noticed that every Friday night she watched the same movie, over and over. One with a half fish-half human hybrid and her colorful fish friends.

With each new little tidbit of information about the girl, Loki grew more and more interested. Loki not only thought about her all day, but even dreamed about being able to talk to the beautiful girl, face to face. Just when Loki was about to give up on all hope of ever speaking to the girl, a bit of luck was finally in Loki’s favor.

The heroic team was heading off on a mission, one where they needed almost every member, except for the mysterious girl. Loki, jumping at the opportunity to speak with her, helped pack everyone’s bags that night. To the team, he seemed just a bit too happy.

“Are you sure we can leave him here, Thor?” Steve had asked, glancing at Loki.

“Believe it or not, he is acting a lot better,” Thor commented as he put everyone’s luggage onto the quinjet.

“Yes, but he will be here all alone,” Tony added. The girl, apparently did not like that for she stomped her foot in defiance.

Thor had saw her little foot stomp and smiled. “He will not be alone, (Y/N) will be here.”

Aha! Her name! Loki thought, adding another piece to the puzzle.

Laughing, Clint put his supplies in the quinjet. “Yeah, if anyone can handle him, it's  (Y/N).”

This seemed to have made (Y/N) happy, for she nodded her head in triumph.

“I’ll be good,” Loki started, causing everyone to look at him. “Promise.”

“We shall see, brother,” Thor said, clapping his hand on his brother’s shoulder, causing Loki to lose his footing for a moment. “If not, well, you’ll be in for a shock. (Y/N), take care of him for me. Don’t let him get into too much mischief.”

(Y/N) smiled and nodded at Thor, waving the team goodbye.

“That’s no fair,” Loki grumbled to himself. “I’m the god of mischief. It’s literally what I do.”

As soon as the quinjet had disappeared over the horizon, (Y/N) had went back into the compound. Not wanting to lose her in the maze of halls and corridors, Loki followed right after her.

“So,” Loki started, falling into step with her. “Just you and me.”

All she did was quirk up an eyebrow at him before continuing on her way.

“Right. Silent treatment. Well, that has never stopped me before,” Loki continued as he followed her into the room with the screen. Lighting up at the opportunity, Loki walked over to the shelves full of discs.

“Shall we watch one?” Loki asked, digging through the movies. “I’ve never actually seen one of these ‘movies.’ What do you recommend?”

He was met with silence. Smile faltering a bit, because literally the girl of his dreams would not talk to him, he turned back to the shelf. Finding something somewhat familiar, Loki held out the case to her. “How about this?”

Looking back, her whole face lit up and she nodded enthusiastically, causing Loki to smile. “Okay,” Loki said, looking at the title before putting the disc into the strange contraption. “The Little Mermaid it is.”

Moving towards the couch, Loki sat down next to her. Trying to control his breathing, he constantly found himself looking at (Y/N) throughout the movie, committing every detail of her to memory. Loki did this so often that he ended up missing the movie.

“Wait, why is the fish-girl having problems with her father?” Loki asked. No answer.

“Why is the crab singing to her? Life is not better down where it’s wetter. You’re wet all the time. Plus there are sharks, nasty little creatures. Worst than bildshnipe, I hear. Or at least Thor tells me.” No answer.

“OH NO, A SHARK!” No answer.

“Don’t go near the evil squid lady. Why would you go near the evil squid lady?” No answer.

All this time, (Y/N) never answered. She did seem to be getting more and more annoyed, though.

“Wait, why does she need to kiss the Prince? To get her voice back? That is highly unlikely, magic does not work like-”

“WILL YOU JUST SHUT UP ALREADY?!” The girl shouted. A ringing noise sounded through the room, and before Loki even knew it, he was out cold.

Blinking away the black spots in his vision, Loki was met with a pounding headache. Staring up at the ceiling, Loki started to feel alarmed until he felt something moving through his hair. Looking around, Loki was soon met with the most beautiful pair of (Y/E/C) eyes he had ever seen. What made them even more beautiful was that they were your eyes.

“What happened?” Loki groaned, trying to sit up. He was soon pushed back down by (Y/N) so that his head lay on her lap. She held up a finger as if to say ‘one moment’ and grabbed the nearest notebook and pen she could find. Sprawling out her message with one hand and combing through his hair with the other, she finally had written out her message:

‘Sorry, I didn’t mean to knock you out. I’m an enhanced and my voice knocks people out, especially when I yell. I didn’t mean to make you pass out.’

Reading the message, Loki began to smile. “It’s alright, Love. You didn’t mean to. I’m just glad that we are finally communicating.”

Blushing at his words, she began to write out another message.

‘I get that, now. I mean, who talks during a movie?’

It was Loki’s turn to blush now as he read your note. “Sorry, I am not familiar with proper movie etiquette. But I’d love to learn.”

Smiling, she wrote down her next message.

'I’d love to teach you, if you gave me a chance. Then you can ask all the questions you want, whether about me or the movie.’

“Sounds absolutely, perfect, Love,” Loki said with a smile. The pounding in his head had finally stopped, and Loki was able to sit up now, but he didn’t want to leave her gentle caresses just yet.

'Can you sit back up yet?’ She wrote out, quirking another eyebrow up at him.

“No,” Loki lied. “Not yet. Still hurts.” She nodded at his answer and continued to card her fingers through his black hair, leaving Loki in a bliss. Well, he was the god of mischief, after all. What else was he going to do, except lie a little to stay with the girl of his dreams?

Mistakes of the Past

Pairing: Loki x reader

Warnings: angst, but fluff at the end :)

Summary: One sleepless night you find Loki in tears. And then there is a question

Note: English is not my native language, so sorry for any mistakes! I would love feedback!

(not my gif, found it on google so credit to whoever made this!)

Loki was not easy. His mind was broken after a lot of bad had happened to him. He never trusted anyone, and if he did, it took ages before he REALLY trusted. He was miserable. It felt as if he had forgotten how it feels to be happy. But after getting to know him, he was quite an interesting person. He had so many secrets and stories. He explained how the universe worked in your darkest nights. He showed you Asgard, and comforted you when you needed it the most. He was so giving and loving, that he forgot himself.

The war between our love (Loki x Reader) Chapter Two: This is our lives now..

Note: Arguing, having to pretend to be in love.

Words: 1605

Loki felt something spark behind his eyes, but he refused to give in as he pulled away from the woman before looking to Odin. “The peace between the Bevollions and the Asgardians has been resort!” His voice boomed as the people of the two races smiled to each other. Yet the bride and groom glared to each other, there was no happiness to be celebrated on this occasion. “We will come back in two weeks.” (Y/N)’s father spoke. “I want to see how your love has developed.” He grins as (Y/N) looks to her father with pleading eyes, but he kissed her forehead before turning to Odin. “I shall see you then.” Odin nods as they leave.

Loki looked to the ground clenching his fists when he heard Odin clear his throat. “In two weeks you better be in love, or at least act like it.” He growled before Loki sighed. Thor watched Loki step towards the door as (Y/N) stood there awkwardly not knowing what to do. “Loki, shouldn’t you show your wife to her room.” Thor said as Loki stopped before glaring back to Thor when he nods. “I guess.” He said before walking back over as he offered his arm to her which she hesitantly took. They walked out of the room in silence as she covers her mouth looking away from Loki when he glances over to her noticing tears.

His expression softens seeing the tears sliding down her cheek when he opened the door to his room as she looked around. “This is our room.” He said as they both winced at the ‘our’ part. “I shall have someone bring your belongs here.” He said as she nods numbly. “Yes, well.” He said not looking at her. “Loki, you know we are in the same boat. Right?” She asked finally speaking and much to Loki’s shock his heart… fluttered at the sound. “What do you mean?” He asked. “I don’t want this, you don’t want this. We both don’t want to be married.” She said as Loki nods. “But there is nothing we can do is there?” She asked softly removing her hand from his arm.

“I’m afraid not.” He said gently swallowing what felt like fire itself. “Not unless we want war between our worlds.” She whispered as he nods despite her back being towards him. “This is just great.” She laughed dryly as he looked over to her. “I am forced from my home that I’ve known. Into an unknown land, married to a man who is considered a criminal.” She said as Loki gritted his teeth. “Oh yes, because this is exactly what I wanted. Another woman of a race I’ve never even heard of.” He spat back as she turned around glaring at him. “You have murdered. There is blood on your hands!” She countered back.

“You think I don’t know! You think I haven’t scrubbed my skin raw in hopes that the damn screams will finally give me peace.” He snarled as her eyes widened for a moment. “This is exactly what I knew would happen. No matter what, people will always judge me based on my past.” He huffed feeling hurt when he shook his head. “Get someone to get your belongs. Do whatever you please. We are married, but I shall never love you. Ever.” He growled before storming out of the room as he slammed the door feeling his heart being stabbed. He pushed himself off the door before he walked down the halls of the palace towards the Garden.

He needed to calm down, he needed to breathe. This wasn’t going to get them anywhere if they fight like this constantly. Deep down Loki was relieved that he spoke what his heart needed to let out. The voices of his victims plagued him at night, but he never told a soul until today. It felt like there was a weight lifted off his shoulder when suddenly his body began to tremble. He held himself as he snapped his eyes shut refusing to allow his emotions out in the public. He couldn’t return to his room, because she was there and the look of anger on her face tightened in his chest. He heard movement behind him as he turned around expecting Thor only to see her.

“What do you want?” He spat harshly. “Look, we won’t get anywhere with this marriage if this is how we’re going to act.” She said calmly as Loki turned away. “I am a monster, I could never love someone.” He said standing up. “Your father said in two weeks he’ll come back to see how we’ve progressed. I have a feeling we’ll be at each other’s throats until the end of one of our lives.” He explained as she remained silent. “Our best course of action is to pretend when your father arrives that for a moment I don’t detest you and you don’t detest me so that we don’t cause another war to break out.” He said when she walked over to him standing behind him.

“You are the God of Chaos, I tend to think that you of all people would love war.” She placed a hand onto his back when he jerked away as if her touch burned him. “You think ill of me.” He said gently. His voice was soft, like he wasn’t sure of the words himself before he shook his head. “Leave me.” He said as she frowned. “Loki, I–” She started. “I said leave me.” He hissed watching as she grits her teeth before storming away as he sighed softly covering his face. “Don’t say a word Thor.” Loki spoke up noticing Thor standing in the doorway with his arms crossed. “You are really bad at being a husband.” He said walking over towards him.

Loki rolls his eyes looking back to his brother as Thor sat down next to him. “You aren’t a very good listen. I guess we are both out of luck.” He huffed. “I’m merely saying Brother. I mean this woman was forced to leave everything she’s ever known. She’s afraid, she is only defending what she knows. You are not helping her by attacking back Loki.” Thor explained. “So I am to just allow her to talk down on me. If I wanted that I could have married Odin himself.” Loki spat angrily as Thor placed his hands onto Loki’s shoulder. “That is not what I am saying. Stop twisting my words Brother. I am saying try and get to know her. Show her a new Loki.” He said.

“What if there is no ‘new’ Loki to show?” Loki asked as Thor looks in his eyes. “Then make a new one to show.” He said as Loki remained silent. For once in his brother’s life he actually was making sense as Loki let out a sigh. “Make her stay here comfortable. I mean at least you now have someone right?” Thor offered as Loki’s scowl returned. “Ah yes, because I wanted to be forced to marry someone so I am not alone for the rest of my life.” Loki stood up before walking away as Thor sighed running a hand down his face. Loki walked towards the library, he just needed to clear his mind when realization hit him like a brick wall.

Maybe Thor was right, if it wasn’t for Odin forcing this marriage onto him, maybe he would die alone. Solitude was the only thing he’s ever known and now he doesn’t have that anymore. Was he getting defensive, because he knows nothing else? Was it because he’s afraid to fall in love? His thoughts were stopped when he walked into the library noticing (Y/N) sitting in one of the chairs reading. She looked up to him as her expression softened when he looked down to the floor hoping that it would swallow him. “I’m sorry.” She spoke as he looked up to her. “My actions earlier were uncalled for. I shouldn’t have said it.” She said.

“I did not help the situation, but I am trying to change. It’s harder whenever you try and someone still kicks you while you are down. However, we cannot continue going like this. In the end it will lead to war.” He said as she nods. “It won’t be easy.” She said when a smirk danced across his lips. “No one my darling, ever said it would be.” He said as her face flushes at the term of endearment when she smiled softly. “Let us get acquainted so that this marriage may somehow work. At least around our family.” He said as she nods before gesturing to the chair beside her. “Come sit by me, Husband.” She said before making a face at the word as he walked over to her.

They barely spoke to anyone, much less each other for the rest of the day. At dinner Loki refused to speak to Odin, (Y/N) was too afraid to say anything, because she just wanted to go home. After they washed up they were standing on either side of the bed watching each other in silence. “Good night.” He spoke up moving the covers back as he sat down when she mirrored his movements. “Good night.” She said softly before they both laid down facing away from each other. There was no light in the room, there was nothing but the sounds of their own breathing and despite how tired they felt neither one of them could fall asleep. “This is our life now.” Loki broke the silence.

“You won’t believe the request I got handed today,” Danica said. Maddie looked up at her.

“Yeah? Try me,” she challenged.

Danica told her. Maddie didn’t believe it.

“You have a kid who wants to meet Loki,” Maddie said. “The Loki. Like, New York and aliens Loki, that one?”

“Of course I told them that was off the table,” Danica said. “I mean…obviously. But…god. The little girl - Midge - was just devastated. And I was half thinking, you know, how would I hypothetically make this happen, but that’s just…crazy. We can’t.”

Do Not Anger Her

Requested by @justcallmecinammonMay I have a Loki x reader oneshot with an AU where Loki and Thor are on good terms and he takes Loki with him to visit reader to figure out something difficult for their mission. Her and Thor are good friends and when she meets Loki she’s sweet and openly invites him in. Thor warns Loki beforehand not to mess with her because it’s definitely best not to make her angry, but Loki’s like “I do what I want” and when he does he regrets it. Then afterwards he’s like “… sorry” and she’s okay with him and he falls for her. He learns she loves geckos and snakes and frogs. With a funny and fluffy ending plez? Reader is short and loves Hamilton the Musical. (This sounds like the most random shit ever and I apologize XD I’m getting over a bad cold and I think it went to my brain.) you can decide how he upset her and whether or not she gets quiet when angry or the opposite lol

Here you are, lovely!! I apologize for taking so long. I do not own Loki, Thor, Steve or Tony. They belong to Marvel.

Warnings: slight angst, fluff, mentions of snakes and other reptiles and it’s a bit long (apparently I can’t write a Loki fic less than 1,000 words!)

Pairings: Loki x fem!reader, Thor, Steve Rogers, Tony Stark

I’m the king and you’re the queen and we will stumble through heaven

You had known Loki since you were children, you came from a well off family who just happened to have connections with Odin and Frigga. You had known since you were a child that you had liked Loki but you were young and dumb and figured it would go away with time, like all childhood fascinations.  That was hundreds maybe thousands of years ago, you had lost count by now. One thing you hadn’t lost was your friendship with Loki and his brother.

“Y/n, your father and I have something to tell you.” That was the beginning of the end for you.

If there’s a light at the end, it’s just the sun in your eyes

I know you wanna go to heaven but you’re human tonight.

“You’ve been arranged to marry Thor.” Those were the words that changed your life. As soon as the words left your father’s mouth, you wanted him to take them back. It wasn’t that you and Loki had anything going between the two of you, not really. But you were finally beginning to think something might start. You were finally noticing the look in his eyes and how he watched you when he thought you weren’t looking. Those six words ruined everything for you, you’d never get the chance to see if Loki’s glances ever meant anything. You’d never know what a life with him could be like.

And I’ve been sitting at the bottom of a swimming pool

For a while now, drowning my thoughts out with the sounds

You had been spending the majority of your time in hiding after that night. You didn’t want to face the trickster, not now. You were moved into the palace as soon as you could be but it wasn’t by choice. You would stay in the grounds till your wedding which would occur after Thor’s coronation. On this particular evening, however, you were in the dining hall letting the noises fill your head so you could take your mind off of your troubles.

But do you feel like a young god?

You know the two of us are just young gods

“So, you’re to wed Thor?” Loki asked you. You hadn’t even noticed him take his place next to you.

“I suppose so,” you muttered

“You don’t seem very pleased,” he added

“Should I be?” you asked him “I didn’t exactly want to marry your brother.”

“Had your eyes set on someone else?” the god smirked, gods that smirk.

You sighed “If you only knew.”

“As if I don’t” Loki chuckled “I have something in mind, something that can put all of this off for a bit longer.”

“You always knew just how to save the day,” you smirked, “anything I can do to help?”

“Just stay put and act like you don’t know what’s going on,” he told you

And we’ll be flying through the streets with the people underneath

And they’re running, running, running

“Frost giants,” Odin muttered, and your stomach flipped

You knew Loki had a trick planned, but you had no idea he was going to do this. Part of you was terrified as you watched the brothers and their father race out of the room. The other half of you was glad that this was over, for now, you’d have at least a week of freedom you wouldn’t have had before.

But do you feel like a young god?

You know the two of us are just young gods

And we’ll be flying through the streets with the people underneath

And they’re running, running, running again

You followed the warriors three into the dining hall after hearing the commotion from within.

“Is everything alright?” you asked

“How could it be?” Volstagg ask distraught “your husband has just wasted a great meal!”

“Would be husband,” you corrected passing off you annoyance as a joke

You looked to Loki and watched his discussion with his brother with the others. The idea of going to Jotunheim and making the Giants pay for what they had done was not one you had in mind.

“You’ll get yourself killed,” you said

“We haven’t yet,” Fandral replied

“She’s right,” Loki countered “if you do this alone Asgard won’t have a king.”

“Who said I’m going alone?” Thor questioned

He says, "Oh, baby girl, don’t get cut on my edges

I’m the king of everything and oh, my tongue is a weapon

There’s a light in the crack that’s separating your thighs

And if you wanna go to heaven you should fuck me tonight.”

You didn’t realize how much of a difference that trip would make. Loki came back a different person, and Thor wasn’t allowed back. You still loved Loki, and he seemed to love you still, but it was different. You had to admit that no matter how much you loved the god he was a ruthless leader, and to tell the truth he scared you. It wasn’t enough to change your mind when he asked you to be queen. How could you turn an offer like that down? You finally had everything you wanted.

And I’ve been sitting at the bottom of a swimming pool

For a while now, drowning my thoughts out with the sounds

And then it was ripped from you, he was gone. You couldn’t stand the celebrations that everyone else seemed to partake in after Thor had told you what happened you made it your goal to never see the light of day. Not till you could be with him, maybe he had corrupted you as you had heard the people say on your rare outings. You didn’t care. They wouldn’t understand, how could they? You sat outside the dining hall now, Thor had convinced you to come out of hiding and have a proper meal.

“I thought I’d find you out here,” he said bringing you a plate of food

“How can you stand this?’ you asked, “They’re all so happy, it’s sickening.”

“You’re starting to sound like him,” Thor warned

“Who says that’s a bad thing?” you smirked, “He wasn’t a bad person, you know that.”
“I know,” he sighed “he did so much bad in his last moments, I fear that’s all anyone will ever remember.”

But do you feel like a young god?

You know the two of us are just young gods

And we’ll be flying through the streets with the people underneath

And they’re running, running, running

A/n: I hope you liked this. As an FYI each fic will be a different reader, but They’ll all be Halsey songs. Love you all -G

Thor :)

[I apologize, this sort of wound up a Thor and Loki story.]

Thor and Loki are fighting. (As they so often are.)

They’re probably laying pretty good waste to a city square, raining down masonry and shattering open pavement with their battle. The Aether swirls in its container, which Loki has somehow obtained from the ends of the universe where it was supposed to be hidden. And Loki is snarling at Thor, going off on a somewhat crazed tirade about how Thor could never understand–

And Thor, frustrated, growls back that instead of complaining, Loki should stop this and make him understand.

He regrets the words moments after they leave his lips, as Loki gets that look on his face that says he’s just had an [awful] idea…

And Thor wakes up in a universe where only he and Loki remember things as they should be. Because in this world, Loki is a hero and an Avenger – and Thor is the villain (only he’s not; he’s Thor, but everyone seems to think he’s evil and wants to fight/kill/apprehend him).

Right off the bat, Thor goes after Loki to confront him. Loki goads Thor into attacking him, but manages to stage it in front of the Avengers and makes Thor look like the aggressor. And then of course, Loki hams it up and pretends to be injured and everyone rushes to his defense – and Thor realizes he walked right into that one a minute too late. So he ends up as this fugitive everyone thinks is a brutal berserker and all his friends either hate him or fear him. And poor Thor just doesn’t know how to deal with that. Thor’s always been liked – he’s likable!

After the initial shock and angst wears off, he comes to the conclusion that he has to find a way to a) reverse it, or b) get Loki to reverse it, while c) avoiding authorities of multiple realms convinced he’s the bad guy, and d) not hurting anyone while defending himself, because the last thing he wants to do is hurt his friends. Even if they have no memory of befriending him, and the Avengers are pretty much in attack-on-sight mode.

So he finds Jane, thinking, well, at least Jane will be on his side, right? But she freaks out and Darcy tases him. She and Jane don’t know what to do so they tie him up in the kitchen while he’s out. He comes to and the ropes are flimsy and he’s Thor so he kinda just gives them a tug and they come free. He looks up to see Darcy and Jane staring at him in petrified horror – and he apologizes and says that he’ll hold still and let them re-tie him and not pull the ropes loose if that would make them feel better! He doesn’t mean to cause them distress!

And Jane is staring at him like she’s not sure if she’s lost her mind. Because this is the murderous, berserker force of destruction, Thor, and he’s looking up at her with apologetic puppy eyes (offering to let her tie him up).

Anyway, he eventually manages to sort of win Jane over, and she’s talking about how she thinks he’s not all evil, and maybe there’s hope to redeem him, and he’s just sort of nodding because, yes, okay, good enough, not evil, we’ll settle for that.

Thor figures if he surrenders to the Avengers, there’s a chance that if he comes and turns himself in without aggression, they’ll notice something is off from what the think to be in-character for him and maybe he can get them to listen. Jane is even willing to back him up, but he doesn’t want her near Loki (“Loki? But he’s a good guy, Thor…”

He shows up, unarmed, tells Loki he doesn’t wish to fight, brother – and of course, Loki quickly realizes he can’t attack without looking bad. But Loki’s clever; he puts on a show of being first cautiously hopeful, then overjoyed that his “errant brother Thor” is returning to him (and only Thor sees the glimmer of amusement in his eyes). Loki’s looking like ready to hug it out when the other Avengers step in to hold him back and tell him not to trust Thor, that this is probably some kind of trap.

And oooooooooooh does that hurt.

But, while Thor is having fugitive adventures (and by adventures I mean horrible heart-aching tragedy of being hated and reviled and finding out he doesn’t have Mjolnir because it was taken from him when he was deemed unworthy and never returned) Loki is living it up as an Avenger. And at first, this is 100% about just dicking over Thor, and a great elaborate construction to make Thor experience Loki’s frustrations with the inescapability of his villainy. But then he finds he likes the prestige and the respect and the glory.

And then he starts finding other little things. A child in a plastic horned helmet approaches him and asks for his autograph because he’s her favorite Avenger. People he saves in an Avengers battle thank him with tears in his eyes and embrace him before he can push them back. And he has no idea what to do with this and oh norns he’s having a feeling–

And of course, it all has to fall apart.

Because Loki retconned history – and because he never attacked earth, the Tesseract was never secured in Asgard, and [insert evil forces] have it and then all kinds of hell starts raining down. Loki ends up convincing the avengers to let Thor out of whatever prison they’ve chucked him in to help, with the promise he will be his brother’s keeper (and Thor would find this hilarious if he didn’t currently want to murder Loki, which sadly is what everyone expects him to try to do). But things keep getting worse, to the point the only way to save everyone is to undo this reality.

And dammit, Loki doesn’t want to… this was all just supposed to be one big trick on Thor, not meant to be permanent, but he’s happy. And like so many of Loki’s plans, it’s backfired on him, affecting him more than he planned. He doesn’t want to undo it – but he also doesn’t want to see it all destroyed.

Thor is shouting at him through the melee and the carnage to put it back, and Loki’s growing hysterical. He can’t. He won’t. He won’t be the villain again! (not after he’s had this taste of something sweeter)

Thor looks at him:

“Then be the hero. Put an end to it.”

…And Loki kills the spell.

Reality goes back. He and Thor are alone at the eye of the storm; the only ones to remember. There’s a moment–

– Then it’s gone, as Loki splits to go feel sorry for himself and angst. After all, the one time he does something heroic and selfless, no one will remember it. Thor meanwhile is just so happy not to be hated or feared – and hugs Jane, a lot.

Loki is back to being Loki but now he has a taste of what it’s like to be a hero, and he sort of pines for it. And Thor has a slightly better idea of how inescapable Loki’s situation has to feel from his side of things.

And if later, during breakfast at Avengers tower, Tony mentions how he had the weirdest dream that Loki of all people was an Avenger… Thor just smiles wistfully.

(But not, he finds, without all hope.)

I already loved you.

TITLE: I already loved you.

AUTHOR: Pretty Dead Girl

ORIGINAL IMAGINE: Imagine Loki is planning to confess his love for you on Valentine’s Day, with orchids and a poem he himself wrote. Someone from the Avengers (who has a problem with Loki being in their team now) catches him in preparation and mocks him, saying “Oh, a monster in love, nice.” This gives Loki a pause as he is reminded of his heritage and his past deeds. He throws away the flowers and the poem, telling himself he is a deluded fool to think you’d ever reciprocate his love….Cont.

NOTES/WARNINGS: I loved this imagine so I did this for fun. It isn’t the best, but maybe someone will write one better. ;) Hope you enjoy. (I so wanted to make this smut, but I held back, lmfao)

It was Valentine’s Day and although Loki had never celebrated the Midgard custom he was all too eager to use this day to confess his love for you. Since the day you arrived he had felt a strong pull towards you. He had been pleased when you had been nice to him, even forming a close friendship. He couldn’t remember a time when someone treated him with such kindness and genuinity. He realized some time ago he wanted to claim you as his own, but his own self-doubts got in the way but he had decided today, Valentine’s Day, he would finally admit his feelings for you.

Since they rescued you from Hydra you had jumped at the chance of working with the Avengers, this was your first mission out and you were so excited to finally put your powers to the test. But your once hopefully mood going into the mission was now lost. You only felt bitterness and anger now that the mission was done. Half the team had a few wounds no thanks to Loki. If only the idiot had stayed out of it. But no of course he had to ruin it for you.

Preference - How You Met

You met at one of his parties. Your friend had left you to go dance with some guy she met at the bar so you were by yourself. Tony had been glancing at you every now and then for a while, even when he was sober. Your smile was so bright and he loved it already. As soon as he was drunk he had to courage to go over and talk to you. It was more of a stumble than a walk though. He began complimenting you on the way you looked tonight and he told you how he thought you were beautiful. By the slur of his words you could tell he was drunk and probably didn’t know what he was saying so you got him some water and found him somewhere to lie down. Somehow he had put his number in your phone so you texted him to see how he was doing. He said he was fine and meant every word he said to you last night.

You met when Steve had just woken up from being stuck in the ice. You were assigned to help him become accustomed to modern life as you were there when they took Steve in when he first ran out of the room he was being kept in. Although you had to spend a lot of time together it wasn’t the worst thing you could be doing. You found out that you and Steve had a lot in common actually so it made the time that you spent with each other more enjoyable.

You met when Thor came to visit Jane at her lab. You were a little lost for words when he first spoke to you so you just blushed. He smiled at this. It was almost certain that your first meeting wasn’t as awkward as you thought it was because he would always come and talk to you even if he had better things that he could be doing.

You met when you arrived at SHIELD. Bruce seemed to be working on something that he was having problems solving. It wasn’t really your place to say anything but he had noticed you looking at his board and asked you if you knew what to do. Turns out you did. He was very impressed with your knowledge and the next day you found out that you had been transferred to work in Bruce’s lab with him.

You first met Clint when SHIELD discovered you and your powers. They had sent Clint in to get you and he told you everything was okay and that they could help you. When you were found you were in a state. You had pushed yourself into the farthest corner away from the door so if anyone came in they had time for your to warn them before anything happened. Clint had been warned but he still walked over to you. He was kind and you needed to get control over your powers so you agreed to go back with him to SHIELD.

You met because you were a new recruit. You weren’t special and didn’t have any powers but you were good at hand to hand combat just like her so she took a particular interest in you. She taught you most of the time and you picked up a few of her tricks. With a lot of practice you became one of the best of the new recruits and whenever someone told you that while she was in hearing distance you would see a smug look cross her face as she was proud of what she had taught you.

You met because you were also taken in by Hydra along with her and her brother. Your powers had already begun to work when Hydra found you so they used your DNA set up to mutate Wanda and Pietro. You couldn’t help but feel a little guilty. You and Wanda became like sisters and you helped them both through all the pain and agony of the experiments Hydra performed on you. You were glad that you had them with you otherwise every moment you spent in that tiny glass cell would have been unbearable.

You were a part of the avengers and you had gone to attack a Hydra base when you met. You were running through the trees when a gust of wind and a blur of blue shot past you. Shortly after you were knocked to the ground and a man stood above you smirking. “You didn’t see that coming?” He said and you jumped up before kicking your leg up to hit his head. He look dazed as he recomposed himself from the stumble backwards. “You didn’t see that coming?” You repeated his words and then continued to run and dodge enemy fire.

You met Bucky when you were training to become an avenger. You were sparring against Steve and you were doing really well when he ran in during one of his episodes. Steve was trying to calm him down but it wasn’t really working, he just carried on not knowing who his best friend was. Eventually when he had calmed down he looked shocked at what he had done, embarrassed almost. You gave him a small smile which he gladly returned. Before he left you swore you heard him grumble something about a bad first impression on a girl (or boy if you’re a boy)

You met while you were on Asgard. Loki had been imprisoned due to the events he caused in New York. You were visiting with your sister Jane as she had wanted to see Thor and you begged her to take you as well. You had heard of Loki and his tricks so when you saw him in his cell weak and helpless you found it hard to believe it was the same man. You would often sneak away to see him in his cell and he enjoyed your company, it made him feel included.

Peter Quill

You met on Xandar. You were running through an alley to hide after you had something valuable. You didn’t even know what it was. Anyway, while you were trying to hide you ran into him. You had some sort of an argument with him about watching where he was going but it turned out people were chasing him so you ended up both getting caught and transported to the Kyln with the rest of the soon to be Guardians of the Galaxy.

Loki noticed how different you had become. Your stance, your choice of clothing (you wore Midgardian jeans and a nice fitting shirt). Your hair was also a bit shorter, but the style was good for you. But your eyes were different, holding a variety of emotions, and a new fire was lit in them–one Loki had never noticed before.

Loki x Reader: Your voice

Request @elffrommiddleearth: Can you please write a one shot (Loki x reader/Sif) where reader/Sif is getting hurt and Loki is taking care of her?

Note: Here’s the Loki x Reader! I’m really happy with the result! It’s quite plotless, just fluff going on between them, but I think it’s ended up being quite good! Tell me what you think and thank you for reading ^^

“Rise and shine, Y/N!”

You flinched at the sound and you would have raised your hands to cover your ears, but you were too tired to move any limb. Your eyelids felt terribly heavy when you tried to open your eyes, which you had to close immediately due to de shimmering light that sneaked through the opened curtains.

“Oops, my bad. I’ll close those now, wait.”

You heard his swift footsteps pass through the left side of whatever bed you were lying on, and the noise from the curtains closing. You opened your eyes slowly, although it felt like even your eyelashes hurt. You looked around the room. Velvet crimson blankets covered your body. You could see mahogany furniture around the room –a wardrobe, a desk, a small table with a couple of chairs, a sofa, a vanity, two nightstands, a mirror– all of them highly ornamented in bronze forming gracious shapes. The four walls were covered in a cream coloured paper but the one to your left, where two crimson curtains fell from the ceiling to the floor covering the windows behind them. There was a seemingly fluffy white carpet covering part of the floor. To your right there was a door, which you supposed would lead to the bathroom. Looking upwards you could see a big chandelier that wasn’t offering any light at the moment, not being needed at daylight.

“It’s nice to see that you’ve finally decided to grace us with your presence.”

You cringed. There he was. Sprawled in the sofa –although no one would be able to look so regal by doing so– was Loki Laufeyson, the God of Mischief. And hell did he look like a God. He had his usual smirk plastered on his face, and was tapping his fingers against his knee.

“What happened?”

You could barely remember anything. You were battling a pack –Or was it a herd? A swarm? – of Demons, when you blacked out. How? You couldn’t remember what had happened, but your memory didn’t go farer than that.

“Long story short? A wall fell against you. Quite a pathetic way to lose a fight, if you ask me.”

“I didn’t ask you.”

You glared at him, but it was hard to keep the scowl when he approached nonchalantly in two steps to your bed. He sat to your side, and began randomly playing with your fingers. You pursed your lips trying to hide your smile, but it was difficult with him being so close to you.

“Are the others alright?”

“Safe and sound. Although I can’t tell you much more than that as I really don’t care how they are doing.”

You rolled your eyes at him, but you knew that asking him to get along with the others was a little bit too much for him.

“So, what are you doing here? Have you grown tired of being a God and decided to get into nursing?”

He laughed, a sound you didn’t get to hear often, and your heart skipped a beat. He kept toying with your hand, drawing unknown patterns in your wrist.

“I’ve been told to keep an eye on you until you wake up.”

“And you’ve followed orders? I’m impressed.”

“It is not a particularly unpleasant task, dear.”

You blushed, if it was because of the term he used or because he considered taking care of you ‘not unpleasant’ you didn’t know.

“And how has the task gone until now?”

“You’re alive, aren’t you?”

You hummed in agreement, although you were sure that he had probably done any nursing, but just stayed here, in this room in Asgard and made sure you didn’t stop breathing. But that was way more than what he was willing to do for any other.

“So, now what?” You asked.

“What do you mean?”

“I’m awake. Shouldn’t you be calling the doctors?”

“I probably should.”

You waited, but he didn’t move. He kept looking at you absentmindedly. You glanced around the room, trying to find something interesting in the walls. You were unlucky, so you turned your eyes back at him.

“For God’s sake, you’re insufferable.”

“Oh, but your life would be so boring if I weren’t in it.”

You pursed your lips but said nothing, thinking that it was just the slightest of truths. He was incredibly intelligent, and it was always exciting to talk to someone who would challenge your brain. He was a good conversationalist. You had fun with Thor and Sif and The Warriors Three, but it was a different kind of fun. With Loki, it felt more personal, more intimate. You would never tell him this, of course. You wouldn’t want to give him another reason to make fun of you.

Suddenly, a question popped into your head.

“How much time have I been out?”

“About four days. You snore, did you know?”

“I don’t snore!”

“No, you’re right. It’s not quite like a snore. Actually, it sounds more feline. Like a purr. It’s an endearing sound, if I do say so myself.”

You huffed in disagreement and furrowed your brow while you looked at him outraged. You didn’t purr. But he knew better than anyone how to distract you. The hand that had been playing idly with your fingers had firmly interlaced with your hand. And while you stared at this, you weren’t able to see until you noticed that his other hand had moved to your forehead. Placing his left hand on your cheek, he eased the knot that had formed between your eyebrows gently rubbing on it with his thumb. You gasped, and you couldn’t take yourself to look at him, so you closed your eyes. His hands were cold, but they were surprisingly comforting against your overly hot skin –you probably had gone through some fever while you were knocked out–. You released a shaky breath, and you couldn’t see it, but you’d bet he was smiling crookedly right at you. You tried to breathe evenly, and when you regained your composure you opened your eyes at the same time he removed his hand from your forehead –but he kept his hand interlaced with yours–.

“There. No wrinkles. Way better. Although the nurses would scold me for risking your poor heart’s wellbeing.”

You ignored the last sentence and tried to think of something to say. Something intelligent. What had he said before he almost gave you a stroke? That I purr like a cat. No, not that. That you’ve been out for four days.

“What have you been doing these last four days?”

“Keeping an eye on you?”

“I know that. But doing what?”

“I read to you.”

Your eyes widened, looking at him awed, and he scratched his neck, looking everywhere but at you. He wasn’t one to show affection, and what he had shown to you was way more than what you had expected at the beginning.

“Would you read to me now?”

“You’re not asleep.”

“But I want to fall sleep, I’m tired by now.”

He still looked unsure, so you went to give him what you hoped were cute puppy dog eyes. He looked at you amused. Much to your dismay he stood up and removed his hand from yours, but the wide grin returned when you saw him pick up a book from the table and returned to your side. He sat back next to you, ignoring your Cheshire cat like grin, even if he couldn’t hide his smile himself. He opened the book somewhere in the middle.

“This is where we left it last night.”

You nodded, enjoying way too much the use of that ‘we’. He opened his mouth to read, but you interrupted before he could start. In the future you wouldn’t know where this sudden rush of bravery came from, but you were glad it did.

“I usually need a lot of time to fall asleep. Maybe it’d be better for your poor back’s wellbeing if you lay next to me… ”

You could hear the questioning tone in your voice. He raised an eyebrow, and you smiled sheepishly, like you’d been caught doing something naughty. After a few seconds, he removed the blanket from you and carefully lay next to you. You mentally high fived yourself. He seemed uncomfortable, but today it felt like the right day to push your luck. You got up and tried to rest your head against his chest. He sighed exasperatedly, but to your utter surprise, he moved himself to make it easier for you.

“You shouldn’t be doing this, Y/N. You’re still in pain.”

His tone was stern, not his usual teasing tone; nevertheless, he held your hips firmly until you lowered against his chest. You sighed contently, and his chest rumbled with laughter. He kept one arm resting in your waist while he held the book in his other hand, keeping it still against his flexed knee.

“Wait, what book are you reading me?”

“Sherlock Holmes.”

You nodded against his chest, agreeing with his choice, and he began reading. And you let his voice sway you to sleep.

“You know Loki, it’s nice that your voice is the first thing I heard today, and I’ll be the last thing too.”

And you fell asleep, but you’d bet, you’d have sworn that you felt his lips against your forehead before he went on with his reading. But he would never admit it.

You’re an avenger and you were in love with Loki, but you tried to hide it. Loki has always been afraid of caring for anyone. When you tell Thor about your feelings, he ends up teasing you about it. Unaware that Loki is developing feelings for you, you threaten thanos to leave him alone where he figures out that it would be the best possible way to get to you. You never knew what love was and neither did Loki, He kisses you passionately and he falls for you.. instantly.
Author’s Note: we had a great conversation like a week ago about if Loki is capable of love so this happened and I’m happy it did

Part Two Three

“Thor, are you in love?” You asked him.

He looked at you like it was the most random thing you could ask. It seemed to come out of nowhere.

“What do you mean by that, (Y/N)?” Thor asked you, directing all of his attention your way.

“Like, you love Jane, right?” You asked.

“Of course.” He replied.

“How did you know that you love her?” You continued your questioning. It was a weird thing to ask, especially since currently, you were in Asgard with him, helping with a mission.

Thor laughed a little. “What is with the sudden interest in this feeling?”

You shrugged. “I don’t know what love is.”

“Nonsense!” Thor said. “What about your parents?”

You cocked an eyebrow. “You don’t know how I got into SHEILD, do you?” You asked. Long story short, it had something to do with losing your parents at a young age and being found by a specific agent- Clint Barton- who noticed that you were a special child. A powerful one.

Thor felt bad for asking after he heard you explain it.

“Well, why do you ask?” Thor asked you.

You shrugged, not sure you wanted to explain it. “Oh, come on now.” He laughed a bit.

“I think Thor is making Loki get him a star,” Gwen said as she braided the short strands of Tony’s hair.

Tony winced as the young mermaid tugged a little too hard.

“No way,” Mary Jane retorted. She was on the other side of Tony’s head and trying to braid his hair too. “Not even Loki could get a star.”

“What about a starfish?” Gwen asked.

“A starfish and a star aren’t the same thing.” Mary Jane huffed and let go Tony’s hair. “Your hair sucks.”

“That’s your opinion,” Tony said, thankful to have one mermaid literally out of his hair.

The things he did to get information.

“At least I’m trying to figure out what Thor and Loki could be after.” Gwen gave up on braiding Tony’s hair. Her hands went to her hips. “Do you have any suggestions?”

Mary Jane’s cheeks pinked. “Not yet, but I’ll think of something.”

Gwen didn’t look like she believed Mary Jane. “Maybe we should just go to Loki’s place and look around?”

“No can do,” Tony said. “He’s got a barrier up.”

“Well, maybe there is something outside his house,” Gwen argued. “Yeah,” she cheered, as if registering what she had just said. “Yeah, that’s perfect. Let’s go!” Gwen grabbed Tony’s arm and tried to drag him through the water.

Before Tony could protest, Mary Jane had grabbed him by the other arm and the two mermaids were hauling him through the water, garnering laughter from the adults and children nearby.

At least no one was acting like they suspected him of pumping the children for information.

Before the kids and Tony could get away from the pod though, Fury appeared seemingly out of nowhere and blocked their path. He floated just high enough so he towered over them. He crossed his arms and peered down at the trio. “And where are you three off to?”

AUTHOR: MaliceManaged

ORIGINAL IMAGINE: Imagine being a witch (on Earth) and accidentally summoning Loki. He gets angry and confused, but ends up actually liking your company and teaches you more magic.

NOTES/WARNINGS: ‘Kettling’ means ‘kitten’.

Loki was concentrating all of his willpower into not pacing a hole into the floor of the antechamber in his hall; the reason being that Odin had arrived some three minutes earlier to inform him that Thor would be arriving with Willow shortly and he didn’t want to appear as anxious and restless as he was feeling, though he knew well enough that pretty much everyone who knew of the situation was aware of it by now. Still, that didn’t mean he had to show it.

The doors opened and Thor walked in closely followed by a rather annoyed looking Willow. Loki was about to ask Thor what he’d done to upset her when she walked right up to him and punched his stomach, earning a light grunt that was mostly surprise and an utterly bewildered look.

Anon: One shot where you’re a SHIELD agent that is brought to work on the Tesseract and Loki ends up falling for you and to make sure you’re alright after the collapse of the HQ he gets captured just to see you?

it’s a lot longer than it was meant to..

“Talk to me, Doctors.” Fury called as he entered the chamber. Selvig stood and addressed his boss as you continued to monitor the tesseracts behaviour.

“Director!” Selvig greeted, walking towards the tesseract with Fury on his tail.

“Anything we know for certain?” Fury asked, getting straight to the point.

“The Tesseract is misbehaving.” You spoke up, walking to join the three men. Fury frowned.

“Is that supposed to be funny?”

“No, it’s not funny at all sir. The tesseract is not active, she’s… Behaving.” One of your co-workers attempted to stick a a metal spike inside to get through the edge, but a shot of electricity snapped at his hand, causing him to pull away.

“I assume you pulled the plug?” Fury asked as the three of you began to walk together.

“She’s an energy source.” You replied, beating Selvig to the answer. Eric smiled slightly. You were his apprentice and were already as clever as he was when it came to the tesseract. That only made sense considering you had done nothing but study it for the past year. “We turn off the power she turns it back on. If she reaches peak level- “

“We prepared for this, doctor.” Fury cut you off. “Harnessing energy from space.”

“But we don’t have the harness.” Selvig shrugged, looking at one of his many screens. “My calculations are far from complete. And she’s throwing off interference, radiation. Nothing harmful, low levels of gamma radiation.”

“That can be harmful.” Fury said flatly. You got confused at why he was assuming gamma radiations to be so bad but then you remembered Mr Banner. You had met him a couple of times and he seemed lovely. “Where’s agent Barton?”

“The Hawk?” You answered. You pointed towards the back of the room. “Up in his nest as usual.” Fury spoke in his ear and Barton came down immediately to meet his boss. They spoke for a bit standing in front of the tesseract as you and Selvig tried to calm her.

“Not yet.” Selvig muttered, pressing buttons. You peaked over his shoulder and saw she was just about to reach breaking point. As soon as you saw that, the sound of cracking entered your ears and a bright blue light began to full the room. It was going to blow. The ground began to shake as the energy escaped the tesseract, making you hold onto the table to stop you from falling. Everyone was silent, watching helplessly as the tesseract began do something none of you could have predicted. It spat a line of blue energy, making a circle at the other end. But it wasn’t just a circle – it was a portal. Suddenly, the blue light splattered out and ran past you all before disappearing when it got to the ceiling. You had closed your eyes when the energy went past you and when you opened them again you saw there was something where the portal was. No, it was someone.

You watched terrified as the man raised his head, a sickening smile on his features. He looked around the room, first looking at Clint and Fury, then at Selvig, then at you. His eyes rested on you a little bit longer than anyone else and you shifted uncomfortably under his gaze.  His smile slowly retracted off his face as he continued to stare, the anger and frustration now clear in his face. Everything was silent for a while until your boss spoke up.

“Sir, please put down the spear.” Fury called out strongly. You were amazed at how calm he sounded considering you were absolutely petrified. You hadn’t noticed, but the man was now standing. He looked between Fury and his ‘spear’ almost confused. He raised it up slightly, staring at you and before anyone could stop him, he pulled it back then yanked it forward, causing a bright blue spare to emit from it aiming straight at Fury. Luckily, Clint managed to push him out of the way. You ducked behind your desk, your eyes squeezed closed as you feared of what would happen if you looked at the psychopath in the eye.

You heard gun shots from beside you but nearly as quickly as they started, there was a pained grunt and then they stopped. There were some more gun shots from the opposite side of the room also but they didn’t last more than three seconds. Opening your eyes, you saw the man was only a few meters away from you. Too scared to move, you stood and watched as he defeated people one by one. Once again, he pulled the spear back and launched the blue energy at your co-worker who was still furiously typing away, trying to send a warning but she didn’t manage to send in time.

Clint and two body guards then began to once again shoot at him but you came to realise guns were pointless against him. Somehow, they seemed to simply reflect off of him instead of digging into his skin. Loki shot the energy at them, knocking the guards backwards, however, Clint dived to his left and managed to avoid getting hit. Kicking the man who was running to your aid and making him hit the wall, the maniac looked at his work. A spark flew from the computer just adding to the destruction he had caused.

You couldn’t remember anything else. You blacked out. The next thing you knew you were being carried out of there by two guards, running from a collapsing HQ.

“I don’t understand.” You said to Bruce confused as you both tried to dissect the Sceptre’s power. You had only been working on it for a couple of hours and Bruce was trying to catch you up. You were extremely intelligent so it didn’t take you too long to understand what they had done; you just didn’t understand who this ‘Loki’ man was.

“I thought you were there?” Bruce asked confused, checking the stats on his screen.

“Where?” You asked, watching what he was doing over his shoulder so you can catch up to the last few bits you were behind on.

“The HQ when Loki came through the tesseract.” Bruce said as if it was obvious. You scoffed when you finally realised who Loki was.

That’s Loki?” You asked in pure shock. As if on cue, about ten guards came walking down the corridor outside your room which you were able to see through the glass window. You walked a little bit closer to see why there was so many but that’s when you saw him. The man who had took Clint, who stared at you with murderous eyes. Loki.

He must have sensed you watching him since when he walked past the window, he looked in and connected his eyes with yours. He almost seemed relieved? You gulped as he continued to stare at you until he had walked past completely.

“Too bad he’s fucking insane.” You sighed, turning back to work with Bruce. You spent a few more hours together before Tony decided to show his face. The three of your leant against the windowed wall, eating Tony’s blueberries, when an angry Nick Fury appeared.

“What are you doing, Mr Stark.” He said, marching towards the three of you.

“Uh, kinda been wondering the same thing about you.” Tony replied calmly.

“You’re supposed to locating the tesseract.” The anger was evident in Nick’s voice now so you decided to stick up for one of your best friends.

“We are. The model’s locked and we’re sweeping for the signature now.” Tony pointed to you with a smug look on his face. “When we get a hit, we’ll have the location within half a mile.”

“Yeah, then you get your cube back. No muss, no fuss.” The machine in front of him bleeped grabbing his attention. “What is phase two?” As soon as he stopped talking, a clanking sound of metal against metal was heard. Looking up, you saw the one and only Captain America but he had a look of pure anger written over his features.

“Phase 2 is S.H.I.E.L.D uses the cube to make weapons. Sorry, computer was running a little slow for me.” Steve said, a hint of annoyance behind his usual calm voice. You sighed quietly, knowing another argument was going to occur. You sat listening to it for a bit but when Natasha and Thor came in and joined, you had enough and walked out. Not that they noticed. They were still too busy arguing.

You decided to go for a walk since the only thing you had to do was help Bruce and Tony with their work but they were occupied.

“I hate being the one to bring him food.” You heard a guard say to her friend. “He just glared at me. Like he wants to break each of my bones or something.” You watched as she visibly shook and you remembered: Loki. Turning on your heel, you marched to the only place you could think of that they would be keeping him. The cell they designed for doctor Banner in case he ever got out of control.

Walking into the room, you saw a pacing man in the glass cell. There was no doubt in your mind that this was Loki. His slicked-back black hair, green armour, tall demeanour and, the thing you would never forget, his murderous green eyes. You stood in the doorway, too shocked to move.

“Are you hurt?” He said suddenly, stopping his pacing and watching you. You opened your mouth but nothing came out. “Tell me, Y/N, are you hurt?”

“How do you know my name?” You replied instantly. A sickening smirk emerged onto his lips but he gave no reply. You both stood in silence for a few seconds but you got tired of him simply staring at you. “No I am not hurt. Why?” He stood tall for a moment, satisfied with your answer.

“There is a reason why I did not kill you, Y/N.” His gaze drifted all over you, making you assume it was to make sure you were telling the truth and really weren’t hurt. “You interest me.” You furrowed your eyebrows together, trying to figure out what he meant.

“I… Interest you?” You shook your head slowly. Your stomach felt sick at his answer. Typical how the first handsome man to find you interesting just also happened to a psychotic killer from another planet. Sighing slightly, Loki continued.

“I saw you. When I came to Earth to see…” He trailed off slightly. You assumed he met Thor since you and Barton were assigned to him the first time he came to Earth. “I never forgot.” Your breath hitched in your throat, causing an awkward silence. You both stood, watching each other almost as if daring the other one to speak.

“Agent Y/last/N!” You jumped when you heard your boss’ voice. Loki looked visibly annoyed at this interruption but covered it up quickly. Nick Fury stepped in front of you, blocking your view of the black-haired Asgardian. “Banner and Stark need you back at the lab.” He said, his gaze strong making you look away. Nodding, you turned to join your two friends back at the place you’re supposed to be at anyway. Nick Fury turned and glared at Loki before following you out, not letting the man get to another one of his top agents. He had Barton. He was not going to have you too.

Tasertricks prompt- Darcy Loses a bet with Tony.. she has to wear a iron man girl outfit (the one that the ladies are wearing in iron man 2 maybe the shorts alil shorter) for one day.. which causes Loki to be jealous/Possessive of the attention she's getting..

“C’mon, Lewis, you can’t hide inside all day!”

Darcy emerges from the closet with an expression akin to Grumpy Cat. She struts out into the living room in front of the entire team of Avengers, wearing nothing but the skimpiest golden shorts and a tight, iron-man themed top that causes her already well-endowed breasts to heave up out of the fabric.

The whole team cheers like it’s a fashion show. Everyone except Loki, that is, who is sitting far-removed from the group, reading a book in the corner. He doesn’t interact much with anyone since Thor had brought him aboard.

Darcy throws one hand on her hip as she levels a glare at Tony, “I cannot believe you actually used to make women wear this thing.”

“Hey,” Tony reasons, holding up a hand in protest, “You set the parameters of the bet! And I quote ‘If I lose, I’ll wear one of your degrading iron-girl outfits for a whole day, playboy.’”

Darcy rolls her eyes as the team gets back to the mundanity of their day off. The hours pass by quickly enough, but Darcy can’t help but notice Loki stealing glances at her every time she interacts with any other male member of the team. Finally, at the end of the night, she approaches him as he pours over some documents in his private study.

“Hello, Mister Tall, Dark, and Serious,” Darcy greets him in a faux-masculine tone, complete with a salute.

Loki looks up from his paperwork, very carefully making sure he is looking directly into her eyes, “Miss Lewis.”

“You seem to be in an extra-bad mood today,” She points out, coming over to sit on top of his desk, almost right in front of him, so he has no choice but to pay attention to her, “Now, how is that possible?"

He sighs, looking up at her and leaning back in his chair, “You’ll forgive me if I say that outfit Stark has you wearing is completely ridiculous. No woman should be publicly subjugate to that kind of exposure.”

"You saying you don’t like what you see?” She pouts, and it causes his face to turn a shade of red.

“I said publicly subjugate,” He corrects her in a darker and more seductive tone, “Privately, on the other hand…”

Darcy laughs and the sound comes out a little breathy, “I can’t say I don’t agree with you about the whole outfit thing. In fact, you wanna help me out with a little something?”

"Do tell,” Loki purrs, and she leans down to whisper something in his ear.

His face turns an even darker shade of red as he looks at her with surprise. She presses her forehead against his, looking down into his eyes and saying, “Trust me.”

Loki cups his hand around her chin, pulling her face down so that her lips meet his. Tenderly, he caresses her mouth with his own, his lips softly pushing against hers. When they pull apart, Darcy grins down at him before turning towards the security camera in the corner of the room.

“Suck it, Stark,” She says, flipping off the camera.

She’s laughing as she turns around to face Loki, who is also grinning widely - a rare sight from him.

“So, you made a bet with Stark that you could get me to kiss you by the end of the day?” He asks with amused skepticism, referring to what she had previously whispered in his ear, “And he just lost. What exactly were the losing parameters of this bet?”

Darcy is smirking as she looks from Loki to the door, “Your question should be answered in about three…two…”

Tony flings open the door, a scowl on his face, dressed from head to toe in the exact, body-hugging and revealing iron-girl outfit that Darcy is wearing. He pulls hopelessly down on the shorts as he walks into the room.

“You little shits.”

A/N: Hi everyone! Sorry I was silent for the last few days, this one was quite a challenge to write, but I had losts of fun writing it. Thanks to the person who requested it! And thank you guys for reading my imagines. Mind you, this one is really, really long!!! ^^” Hope you’ll like it anyway!

Whoever knew you could say it was in your genes to be with the bad guys. That’s what you get when your father is at the head of the Brotherhood of mutants, when your godfather is one of the most well-known scientist turned evil on Earth, and when you happen to be a mutant yourself. You were born with wings, a sharp hearing and the ability to manipulate the wind, and ever since your powers were discovered, your father had trained you to control them. Never did he hide the fact he wanted you to join the Brotherhood later. Except you didn’t, nor did you share his opinion on mutants. But you had no one else to turn to, except for Victor, which didn’t change much from your father’s point of view, and nowhere else to go. So for some time you fought by his side, but the moment came where you couldn’t pretend anymore. It was just becoming too much so you simply flew away without any explanation. You had no idea where you’d go, but you thought it was better that way.

* * * *

Fury found you before your father did. His first intent was, as you thought, use you to get informations on the Brotherhood. But you refused. And stood your ground on that. This surprised the leader of SHIELD, who hadn’t expected you to be so stubborn.

“Magneto is your father. He’ll never suspect you.”

“He knew I don’t exactly share his views. He certainly guesses this is the reason why I left without a word, he isn’t stupid.”

“Still, I doubt he would suspect his own daughter.”

“You clearly don’t know him.”

“We could still use her, Fury.” Black Widow interfered. “Someone with her skills… and wings… could be of some help.”

Fury frowned, a thoughtful look on his face.

“I’ll think about it.”

He headed out, but before he left, he whispered to her.

“For now, keep her under surveillance. Close surveillance.”

Agent Romanoff nodded and gestured to you to come with her.

“Where are you taking me?” you asked as you two left the interrogation room.

She didn’t answer. In fact, as soon as Fury had left, she stopped speaking at all. You entered what seemed to be a detention area. The agent led you to a cell that she opened.

“Wait… Am I your prisoner?” you asked, confused.

“Until Fury makes up his mind, I don’t know what your are. You’ll stay here until then.”

You tensed at first, but knew better than to argue. It wouldn’t help convincing them you weren’t on your dad’s side. So you entered the cell without a word, resigned, and sat down on the floor, your back to the wall. It felt odd to end up in a cell when you hadn’t done anything. But at least, neither your father nor Victor would find you here. It reassured you somehow. And you waited. Was it minutes, hours, days, you couldn’t tell. But you waited, sometimes getting up, walking around, stretching your wings as much as the cell allowed you before sitting back down. And suddenly, you heard footsteps coming down the stairs. You rose your head to see a tall man with short light brown hair walking by the cells, his head down as if he was thinking.

“You shouldn’t worry about me. I may have wings but I can’t breach metal bars!”

The man turned his head towards you, surprise in his eyes.

“Excuse me?” he asked.

“They didn’t send you to guard my cell or something?”

“No. Who are you? What are you doing here?”

“Waiting for the big boss to make up his mind about what should become of me.” you shrugged. “They don’t seem to trust me, he and his little friend.”

“'his little friend’? You mean Natasha? Agent Romanoff?”

You nodded. He had started nearing the cell, and you managed to see his eyes, his piercing ice cold blue irises.

“What’s bringing you down here anyway?” you asked.

“Nothing, I just… needed to take a break from all the fuss from up there. Seems like no one will ever reach an agreement on the matter…”

“Yeah, I know the feeling.”

He smirked at you. He now stood in front of the door, only a metre away from you.

“I’m (Y/N) Lehnsherr, by the way.”

“You… You’re the one everybody’s debating over!”

“Yep, sounds like it. Sorry my presence here caused such a fuss, then.”

He laughed, relieved you didn’t take it bad. That’s how you met Steve.

* * * *

[A few months later]

A few days after he found you, Fury had ended up agreeing with Natasha’s original view that you could be of some help to the Avengers. At first, it had scared you a bit: you thought that you’d never feel included, that what you were would keep them away. But it didn’t. And now, even though you weren’t officially a part of the team, it was pretty much the same to you and to them. You would train together every day, go on the field together when they needed an extra set of arms and special abilities, and you would hang out with them whenever you had the occasion. You became the closest of friends. Sometimes, they would ask you about the time where you fought at your father’s sides. In return, you would ask them about their lives before SHIELD and all this. Especially Thor. You loved hearing him talking about Asgaard, about his adventures with his friends, about his childhood games with his brother Loki. And there was Steve. The one who had looked at you as a person rather than Magneto’s daughter or a set of super abilities. As time passed by, you two grew closer to each other, and you were now dating. Being in love was all new to you, and you were thankful that Steve gave you time to fully comprehend what it was that you were feeling for him.

You hadn’t been so much in contact with your father or godfather. You had just sent them a letter saying that you were alright, that you needed time for yourself and that you’d come back whenever the time felt right. You hoped they would understand. Besides, you felt your father needed to let go. You were no longer a child who needed protection, and you had learned how to hid your powers and your wings. Plus, you were doing better being around the Avengers. You were less snappy, more patient, even calmer. And you liked it that way.

But then came the day you weren’t looking forward for at all. You were waiting for Steve, Clint and Natasha to come back from the field when Agent Hill came to you, saying Fury needed you in his office. You raised an eyebrow, curious. Ever since he had released you from that cell, he had never wanted to see you in private, and you hoped he hadn’t changed his mind about you. You hoped in the lift, went up and knocked at his door.

“Come in. Ah, (Y/N), there you are!”

“You asked to see me.”

“Yes. Please, sit down” he said, gesturing to the chair on the other side of his desk.

So you did, still wondering what on Earth could be going on.

“(Y/N), I have a favour to ask you.”

“What kind of favour?”

“I need you to contact Magneto and Dr Doom.”

You froze for a split second. You couldn’t believe your ears, why was he asking such a thing of you? He knew very well what you thought of their ideas and why you had left. You remained silent for a moment, looking for something sensible to say. Freaking out wouldn’t do any good.

“You’d better have a very good reason, Fury.”

“We need their help on something we’re working on.”

“Excuse me?”

“Von Doom is a scientist, I suppose you know that already.”

“Yes. But so is Dr Banner, and you have Stark the genius. Why do you need Victor?”

“Because what we’re working on has to do with a field Von Doom has worked on for years. Stark learns fast, sure, but it wouldn’t give him your godfather’s experience.”

“I see. What about my father?”

Fury didn’t answer to that question. You rolled your eyes and sighed. Of course, he had to keep some secrets…

“Fine. I’ll do it.”

The director nodded and you left the office to get back down. Without a word to anyone, you grab your suit and left the building, taking off through your room’s window. You flew for a few hours before arriving at your dad’s house. As soon as you landed, you heard the door open.

“Ich wusste, du wurdest bald wiederkommen.”

“Hallo papa.” you smiled.

He went to hug you, but then his eyes fell on your suit and the SHIELD logo on it, making him stop. He frowned.

“I also had that feeling you weren’t coming back to us.”

“Could we talk about that another time? That’s not what I came for.”

“Was machst du hier dann?”

“Lass uns drinnen gehen.”

* * * *

Steve had come back half an hour after you had left. After a short debriefing, he went to look for you, but you were nowhere to be found. As he still hadn’t seen you by the end of the day, he started to get more and more worried. He couldn’t get any sleep, spent two hours hitting the punching bag, trying to clear his head, and ended up searching the whole tower from the basement to the rooftop. Nothing. Sun was rising when he took the lift to get down. It was around 6 am, at which time you arrived at the Avengers tower with your dad and godfather. When he saw you arriving, he ran to you and took you in his arms, holding you tight as if you’d been gone for months.

“Where have you been?! I was so worried!”

“I’m sorry. Fury asked me a favour, and you weren’t back yet when I left.”

“A favour? What kind of…”

Only then did he noticed Dr Doom and Magneto standing behind you.

“Fury needs them for something.”

“Yeah, he mentioned having sent someone. I just didn’t though it could be you.”

“I appreciate your trust in me, captain.”

He laughed and turned to the two men.

“Welcome, Dr Doom. I’ll go get director Fury, I suppose you wish to speak to him first.”

“Indeed, I do.” Victor answered. “I’m rather curious of why he needs me for.”

“Then let’s get to business, shall we?” Fury’s voice said as he stepped inside the hall.

Doom shook hands with SHIELD’s director, something you had never thought you’d see one day.

“Let’s make one thing clear first. I’m not working for you. I’m here because my goddaughter asked me to.”

“Of course.”

Your dad turned to you.

“One thing should be clear for us as well. When this is over, I’m back to the Brotherhood. Follow me or not, it’s up to you.”

You had to pinch yourself to make sure you weren’t dreaming. But no, that was real.

“I thought you didn’t agree…”

“Because I don’t agree doesn’t mean I don’t accept.”

You smiled, relieved. It hadn’t been easy to do it, but you had done it. And for the first time, you really felt like you had really done something useful. Like you were one of the Avengers. It was the best feeling.
