When 2,600 years old you reach, look as good, you will not. This is Antjau, son of Ankhhor and his wife Tjesnitperet. He lived some 2,600 years ago between 715-525 BC in the late period of Ancient Egypt. I guess he does have a kind of afterlife as an exhibit at the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. I wonder what he would have said if he had known I’d be taking his picture on the other side of the world so long after his death. Shot this on 3 January, 2014.
