As an intrigued member of the Sherlock fandom, I decided it would be a fabulous idea to get a mind palace, also so i could store information for classes. I decided it would be a good idea (ramble ramble ramble)

I found two main tumblr blogs which either helped me create the mind palace or add info for my mind palace.
I highly recommend you look at: anotherboywholived who helped me create my palace. They no longer take questions about the mind palace but has a master post of all the mind place questions
To be a little more Sherlocky, I sought out forensic and science blogs and things. I’ve enjoyed the posts of vanesa who is pretty boss.
I hope I “inspired” or helped you out on a newfound desire to have a mind palace. These two bloggers are fabulous and have a great blog.
Now, if you excuse me, I have to install a library into my mind palace.
So do you think it will be possible to use a mind palace in everyday avtivities? Like studying for a exam perhaps.
Definitely! I tried this out for myself on a couple of physiology lectures, and it worked pretty well, as long as the material was “semantic” in nature (i.e., a list of facts). It would be a lot more effort to use the mind palace for remembering how to derive an equation for a physics exam, though, so the type of material really matters.
I’m sure the mind palace works for every day activities as well! Hanley (anotherboywholived) has a room to hold temporary items, and goes into detail how he uses the mind palace to study for his philosophy exams.
(also, while I am half welsh I was born and raised in england so locationally and culturally I’m arguably more english in many ways but I have a pride in my welsh heritage that I don’t have in my englishness like…at *alllll*)
Yeah for a while I wished I was just hispanic, not proud of my englishness at all, and wished I could get rid of my paleness and blue eyes, but I’ve since started loathing the state of spain on so… many… levels I find I rather prefer I’m not all that xD plus knowing english in spain takes you places haha
Rule 1: Always post the rules. Rule 2: Answer the questions the person that tagged you has written and write 11 new ones. Rule 3: Tag 11 new people and link them to your post. Rule 4: Let them know you've tagged them. Rule 5: In your post, tell everyone who you were tagged by!

Shit, I have to choose?

Flynn Rider aka Eugene Fitzherbert.
5 - Favorite book ever?
It might come as a surprise that my answer isn’t Harry Potter, but The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
6 - Have you ever read the James Potter series; ‘cause I’m obsessed now!
I’ve never heard of it, but I’m looking it up now :D
7 - Where are you sitting right now?
On my bed.
8 - Do you have any brothers or sisters?
An older brother.
9 - Do you like pie?
Pie is amazing.
10 - How long have you been on Tumblr for today?
About two hours. But that’s just because I woke up really late, lol.
11 - Did you ever like Twilight?
Yes, when the first movie came out, I got into the hype of it and I thought it was awesome. Now, I'm completely over it.
My Questions: (I suck at making up questions, sorry.)
1 - Last book you read? 2 - Favorite tv show? 3 - What did you have for breakfast today? 4 - Favorite Harry Potter movie/book? 5 - What movie did you last see in the theaters? 6 - How long have you had a tumblr? 7 - How many songs do you have on your ipod? (Or mp3 or computer?) 8 - Have you ever met a celebrity? If so which celebrity? 9 - How many languages can you speak? 10 - Do you like anime/mange? If so which anime/manga is your favorite? 11 - Favorite Harry Potter character? And why?
I’m going to be utterly immature and take John thinking I’m a girl as proof of his self-denial. Don’t blame me; blame Plato. He’s messing with my brain. I shall see you on the other side of The Republic. Looking forward to it. :)
Yeah, I’m fine! It’s just a semester-long project for my Psych of Child Development class where we use a program to pretend to raise a child, and we have to answer questions about their ~developmental milestones~ and the impact of our parenting styles :)
It’s actually pretty entertaining tbh, though apparently I need to keep better track about the deadlines :P
I mean like- ostensibly it was somewhere in the paperwork that I went through at the first appointment but I didn’t see it and it seems like they should have TOLD ME sometime then, or at least when they called to reschedule that first appointment?
AND I ONLY MISSED THAT FIRST APPOINTMENT BECAUSE THEY CALLED LIKE AN HOUR BEFORE MY PREVIOUS APPOINTMENT BECAUSE THEY SCHEDULED ME WRONG SO THE RESCHEDULED APPOINTMENT WASN’T ON MY RADAR AND I ONLY MISSED THAT SECOND APPOINTMENT BECAUSE I WAS HAVING PANIC ATTACKS AND DEPRESSION AND SHIT, y'KNOW, THE STUFF I WAS GOING TO THEM FOR HELP WITH
AND NOW I CAN’T REGISTER FOR CLASSES UNTIL I PAY THOSE FEES, AND I CAN PROBABLY GET THE MONEY FROM MY PARENTS BUT THAT WOULD MEAN TELLING THEM I’M GOING IN FOR MEDICATION AND STUFF AND THAT’S SO FRUSTRATING
AND I’M OUT OF MY PRESCRIPTIONS AND I’D JUST ASK THEM TO RENEW THEM ONLY I’M PRETTY SURE THEY AREN’T WORKING FOR ME SO I NEED TO TALK WITH THE DOCTOR AND SEE WHAT ALTERNATIVES THERE ARE AND WHY THIS
Conversely I have an obsession with anatomy so while I wouldnt be able to ensure Id framed another (honorableoriginal is a good candidate) I do know the most painful, drawn-out way to ascertain a death.
