This is the ninth anniversary of my life saving surgery.
Despite the horrible things that are going on in the world, I’m still so grateful for all of the extra years I’ve had. I’m very proud to stand behind a small Canadian press that has brought attention to a really good group of artists. I’m happy and fortunate to have Ed Kanerva and Helen Koyama working with me. I have a great group of friends and the best partner one could ask for sharing good and bad times.
As a workaholic, I’ve decided to make a concerted effort to reclaim my weekends to do things I’ve lacked time for, like reading, visiting artists and exploring our ever changing city.
I’m also working on exciting plans for the future that will hopefully involve larger communities if all goes well.
I want to thank everyone who has played a part in my life during the past nine years. I don’t ever take that for granted.
