Going to be in court today for a bit so I went for something clean.

First day of spring semester. Ppl are gonna think I am crazy bc of the way I am dressed. But I don’t careeee. The stockings and shorts i distressed myself. I actually altered the jeans myself- they are a working progress. I’m gonna add some patterned pockets.
I am back at work after an awful cold/cough/zero-energy sickness. The best way to describe how I felt yesterday is that gravity was pulling on me 150% more than usual. At 8pm I had a mere 140 walking steps to my name - that’s how little I moved yesterday!! But I wanted fresh air, and hadn’t eaten all day, so I ventured to a grocery store to get food, where I ended the day with 12,000 steps.
On that note, I missed bootcamp yesterday. SAD! As I wanted to have 100% attendance. But y’know… sickness. And am still rocking at least 10,000 steps a day on my Fitbit for 2016.
I also re-signed up for Weight Watchers last week. $186 for 6 months of in-person meetings. I thought that was pretty good. I’m going to a meeting this evening at 5:30, and hoping to see a loss. I weighed 187 this morning, which was awesome, but also probably fake as I’ve been sick. I like the new Oprah WW commercials - that woman speaks directly right to me. Oprah, let’s do this!
Tonight I have my first 2016 Project Sunshine meeting. Project Sunshine (the charity I’m on the board of) is a lot of work, and I’m still debating if I should continue with it this year. We shall see. We shall see. (Also, we will be recruiting soon, so if you’re a twenty-something young professional in Toronto and want to work with a great charity, let me know!).
I had date number two on Monday night. In hindsight I totally should have cancelled as I was quite sick, but it went well. The first few stages of dating is so much work and effort and I just want to skip to the lazy/casual/Netflix stage. Date number three is this Saturday.
I’ve been working on the Budget Template I said I would a few weeks back. Hoping to share the downloadable link today or tomorrow with you. On a related note, my No-Spend-On-Things January is going well. I even went to Anne Taylor and tried on tops, but walked out with nothing. However, I’m counting down the days till the end of January, as I really want to buy a few things (like a day planner!). (Also, I must confess I did buy ballet tickets for later this year… but the Romeo and Juliet tickets were only $68 and for AMAZING seats, so I snapped them up, along with a pair to Le Petit Prince Sunday, June 5… which I am counting the days to. I love the ballet so damn much.)
Also, in all my years of blogging I’ve never actually asked, but is there anything you’d like me to write a post on? My “backlog” of posts consists of: my personal tips for resumes / cover letters. A post on decluttering. A FitBit review post. My trip to Martha’s Vineyard / Cape Cod. But… Is there anything else you can think of? Let me know in the comments/replies what you’d like me to write more about?
