Choosing an Earth Religion That’s Right for You!

By Da’hou Ungherstahnk

If you are planning on visiting or moving to Earth, you may want to align yourself with a religion* to form a deeper bond with humans. While there are hundreds to choose from, here are some fast facts about the five most dominant religions on Earth.

There are many wacky quirks on Earth, but none are wackier than the concept of “religion.” Instead of distilling a code of ethics through Standard Galactic Protocol or the SovereignQUBE, humans take a more whimsical approach. They instead choose to worship vague ideas or deities as a way of framing the world around them.

who’s who in radfem tumblr!

this is obviously not an exhaustive list and if you’re not on it, i promise it was not purposeful; there’s just so many of us! please shoot me a message if you’d like to be included on the next one i’ll make, and i’ll be sure to put you on it.

not everybody on this list is a radfem – some are lesfems, some are marxist feminists, some are rad-leaning, some are womanists… – and some of these blogs aren’t even political – but we all prioritize women, so we’re all worth a look!

i’m sorry it’s not alphabetical this time, i just really did not feel like going through and alphabetizing all these blogs lol.

enjoy!  – mod alicia

Wait, what's going on with Josh Keaton?

‘aight, so Josh was on an after buzz interview about voltron

of course the topic of shipping came up like it does a lot on that interview show. So Josh talked about how he wouldn’t mind someone with Shiro who is “of a respectable age”  He talked about how he thinks its ok if people make AUs where the paladins are older to have relationships and compared it to genderbent AUs and such. He also mentioned that people who are using the term //pedophile\ as a way to explain these ships need to look up the real definition. which is kind of true, a pedophile is someone who is (disgustingly) attracted to prepubescent people. Which non of the paladins are, but that’s the word people are using to explain the large age gaps. But the crew has said before they like to leave a lot of the ages open for people to interpret how they like so I don’t even know anymore.

basically he talked about everything in a very respectable way and told people to respect each other!

well the anitis saw this and decided to twist his words all around and attack Josh. Calling him a pedophile and everything. One even had the guts to bring his family into it.

the fandom is basically on fire right now and these crazy people who have enough time on their hands to sit on their ass all day and harass people like Josh just piss me off

[TW: Homophobia] [TW: Aniti seminist]  oh dear me. Gal Gadot and Ezra Miller interviewed each other and said things like ‘down to hetero patriarchy!’ and ‘Mysogynist & sexist men, your time is over!’ and guess what? Tons of pathetic DC fanboys (this is an euphemism basically) are fucking calling Ezra a f*gg*t jewish cuck and I’m like? Fuck, why the male DC fandom is the actual worst?

Keep crying with your fragile masculinity that is weaker than my lace panties, while we keep making tons of money (money that y’all dbags actually keep spending with the studios).

The world is changing assholes and soon enough, you’ll either sink or swim :D

Y’all are kinda like Marvel’s Deadpool fanboys who actually paid to see a ‘feminist’ movie about their fave antihero and guess what? DP2 will tackle even more about social issues than the first one, so best regards from Ryan himself

Could you please talk about Richard Henry Lee and slavery?

Richard Henry Lee grew up in Virginia, surrounded by slave and from a large slave owning family. When he was sixteen in 1750, with the death of both his parents, he inherited not only land but property; slaves, fifty to be exact. Known much as a radical man, in his early twenties he denounced slavery as an evil.

In 1758, Lee was elected member of the House of Burgesses, an office that he held most of the rest of his life. Lee’s first speech was against the transportation of slaves to Virginia. “And well am I persuaded, Sir, that if it be so considered, it will appear, both from reason and experience, that the importation of slaves into this Colony has been and will be attended with effects dangerous both to our political and moral interests,” he said. This first bill boldly proposed “to lay so heavy a duty on the importation of slaves as to put an end to that iniquitous and disgraceful traffic within the colony of Virginia.” Africans, he wrote, were “equally entitled to liberty and freedom by the great law of nature.” This marked him in the radical section of the House.

Lee once conducted a public parade in Virginia against the Stamp Act’s “chains of slavery” while literally using his slaves to hold his protest banners.

Originally including a clause prohibiting slavery after 1800 in the Declaration of Independence, written by Thomas Jefferson, the ordinance of the anity-slavery clause failed in passage, with the Virginia delegation, including Lee rejecting the anti-slavery clause. The new ordinance, also embodying prohibitions against slavery, was passed, however, this time with Lee’s support.

Despite this denunciation, at the time of his own death in 1794 the number of his slaves had increased to sixty-three. Lee’s slaves consisted of laborers, house workers and a few skilled craftsmen.

Imagine: Being a Factionless who sneaks into Dauntless as an initiate and being afraid to tell your boyfriend, Peter.

Requested: @writers-block0o0 said “Can you do a Peter Hayes imagine where you’re factionless and you are a secret dauntless anitiate and he falls in love with you and you get together with him but gets confused when you dont tell him where you are from and you finally tell him and he’s actually okay with it? I’m sorry its a long request”

Come on Y/N, just a little further, come on! You run to catch up to the moving train, a boy in blue helps pull you up, and you drop down next to an Abnegation transfer. The Candor next to her judges you by the colour of your clothes, obviously not believing that an Amity transfer could make it in Dauntless -little did she know you weren’t an Amity transfer.

Yo just letting people know a few things:

  • I use dude and babes as gender neutral terms(since that’s I how I see it  but if you’re in any way shape or form uncomfortable with me calling you by those terms let me know and I’ll just hit you up with fam from now on)
  • Anything dealing with religion whether it be headcanons or something I don’t touch with a tenfoot pole, especially christ//anity. My parents didn’t raise me on religion they just let me believe what I wanted within reason and if it wasn’t a cult or something. Plus anything I’ve seen dealing with christ////ianity growing up was never positive and history classes did not make it better so yeah, not trying to offend anyone just letting you know

Gay fanfiction is writing gay relationships into words for the authors and they're personal fetish kink and nothing else. You do nothing to help and are literally hurting gays by making them into objects for your kink.

you fail to think I give a shit about your shitty opinion?

should straight people be then be hurt about all the straight relationships we see on tv???

personally i get a little bit hurt about having NONE asexual relationships in shows/movies and get fucking thrilled we have asexuality in fics but hey maybe that’s just a kink for me too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Edit:

Ahhh so you’re one of those Larry anitis huh? Well dear, you can go on your merry way, we don’t care about your opinion. This generation is (mostly) so open about LGBT and being who you really are (unless it’s kin) and I believe a big part of it is thanks to the representation. Fanfiction is just another form for representation.

Now I really don’t have time for this, gotta go to JBK Horseshow and spend my time looking at some awesome riding.
