Katsuki Bakugou was going to hate this summer.

He thought he’d hate it because he was being forced to leave home and work for his mother’s friend in a small, seaside town. He thought he’d hate it cause he was being punished for burning his room to a crisp. He thought he’d hate it because he hated change.

But it turns out, he hated the Supernatural Turfwar between four species that shouldn’t exist but do a whole lot more….

The one where Katsuki is forced to move in with Inko for the summer and finds himself falling for a particular bloodsucker….

stars and feathered wings

midoriya is always watching the stars on the roof of the dorms at night, so shouto naturally ends up partaking in this remarkable habit with him.

after all, they both have a lot to talk about.

The first time Shouto saw him on the roof of the dorms, it was as though a spell had been cast to leave him instantly entranced.

Though he was surprised to see anyone up there at all, the fact that it was Midoriya made him do a double take. On instinct, Shouto stilled completely, keeping himself hidden as he stared at the other boy. His heart pounded hard in his chest, gradually slowing with each grounding breath.

Reblog If...
  • If you’re a fan of something but the fandom is problemaitc
  • If you love a series but are unable or too lazy to follow every detail of it
  • If you love a series but are sick the fuck tired of discourse
  • If you’ve had to step away from a series due to the fandom sucking ass
  • If you’re tired of seeing inappropriate fanart of underaged characters
  • If you’re tired of the creators of a series being bullied by members of a fandom
  • If you’re so late into a fandom there’s no one your age who likes it
  • If you’ve ever felt like the only person in the world who loves a series
  • If you love an abandoned series
  • If you’ve ever made an OC(original character) for a series but not include anything of the main cast/plot.
  • If you have a self insert character and you’re not ashamed of it
  • If you’re fed up with shipping being more important than story

If you think fandoms should calm the fuck down and just enjoy a series instead of feeling as though they’re entitled to it or own it

It still makes me laugh at how shocked my high school students are when I know things

“You mean Yamcha? If there was one character I’d be okay with not wishing back with the dragonballs it would be him. But Vegeta kicks ass.” - me overhearing students talking about dragonball z and not knowing the name of said character.

“Dumbledore!”– me when students start the “snape, snape, severus snape” from puppet pals.

Me: sings and acts out “You’re Welcome” from Moana when students start singing it in class.

Me–Discusses the differences between marvel movies and the comics at length after over hearing students discussing comic books when they had no clue I knew comic books.

“Hugh Jackman’s character is the showman. I am not sure if that pun was intentional or not…let’s say, intention.” - me when discussing The Prestige with students who I know loved The Greatest Showman.

“I love your backpack, I love Fullmetal Alchemist brotherhood.”– me commenting on a student’s backpack with flamel emblem.

“I love that book,  I am so excited for the last book to be released.  Have you read the author’s A Court of Thorns and Roses series?”– me to a student who I notice reading the Throne of Glass series while subbing

Me– sings the entire Pokemon theme song from memory when bet by a student that I couldn’t.

Me– annihilating my students in Disney trivia…the whole class challenged me together and still couldn’t take me down.

Me– who knows about fanfiction? You will all be writing it for a creative writing assignment.

Me–I am going to show you a Dan and Phil video that discusses shipping and fandom in fanfiction to help give you an idea.

Me– uses Doctor Who and Sherlock (BBC) to teach genre in creative writing.

“I got front row seats! Its going to be so awesome! I can’t wait!” – me overhearing students discuss Dan and Phil’s new tour (the same happened for the first one)

Me– runs into a student at The Amazing Tour is Not on Fire.

The number of times I’ve come up behind a student who was reading manga online instead of working and specifically been able to tell them, “You can read…(insert title here) later,” and been able to know exactly which title to name is ridiculous…bleach and naruto are popular, but the titles are diverse and varied.

Me– butts into a discussion on which characters students think are the best from naruto with specific details on my own thoughts.  Just the fact that I know characters beyond team 7 seems to shock students.

“Your piece is not from A Very Potter Musical so please don’t read it like Professor Snape.”– me when students try to get away with dramatizing a piece and suddenly keep adding in AVPM quotes.

Student— “Ms. O, are you humming the Sailor Moon theme song?”

Me– “Yes, I’ve had it in my head all day.”

Me– chaperons every dance and dances the entire dance to Nsync’s “Bye Bye Bye”

Students (its gotten to the point students request the song before I get the chance just to see it):

Me– maliciously enjoys rubbing my Hamilton tickets in my students faces.

Me– teaches students how to play the pokemon card game when not a single one who collects the cards knows how to play.

Me– gets into the habit of telling kids, “you know nothing Jon Snow,” when I disagree with them.

Here’s to the newbies just starting out, the ones discovering their ability to twist and bend plots, characters and places to their will for the first time,

To the old faithfuls, who have kids at home and a full-time job but somehow still find the time to make us forget for a while,

To the students who publish one-shots and sagas in-between study sessions,

To the ones who posted that one fic years ago and have since moved on, but whose story meant (and still means) so much to so many readers,

To those of you who publish short, little things that pack the emotional punch of a freight train,

To the ones who update faithfully, and to the ones who don’t,

To the ones who weave lyrics into their stories, and the ones who deal in nothing but angst,

To those who don’t write in their native language,

To the brave ones who do it despite their fear of rejection or criticism,

To the ones who like to write with their friends, and the ones who do it alone because their friends wouldn’t understand,

To the ones who spend hours researching in order to to make their world as real as possible,

To to the poets and novelists and essayists and dreamers:

Every single one of you is precious.

You, along with all the other fandom artists and creators, lift us up and give us hope.  You make us laugh, you make us cry, you make us think and question and wonder.  You help us escape, sometimes, when we need it most.  You bring the unimaginable to life, you translate lofty words into ones we can smell, hear and taste, and you continually encourage and inspire us.  You’re wonderful and powerful and courageous and so, so loved, even if we aren’t always the best at letting you know it.  So this is for those of you with empty comment sections, with a concerning lack of kudos/likes/favs/bookmarks. Your stories make a difference, and they always will.

So, from all of us to you:

Thank you.

“You’re afraid to be happy” - Kakashi Hatake x Reader

Summary : Kakashi is in love with you…But pushes you away because he’s too afraid of loosing you, as every single persons he ever cared about died or left/betrayed him.

Some more love for Kakashi, because I’ve been binge watching Naruto Shippuden and I’m kind of in love with him (also, I received requests for fics about Luffy and Zorro from One Piece, and characters from FMA and more Naruto, so expect to see more anime around here), hope you’ll like it ! :

(My masterlist blog here :

It wasn’t often, that the famous Copy Ninja, Kakashi Hatake, talked about his feelings. Hell, it was so rare some would say he never does.

But Yamato, one of his only remaining friend, knew better.

Sometimes, when they were both very drunk, they’d talk. They wouldn’t always remember what about, but they’d talk.

About their lives. What they like, don’t like, what make them happy, what brings them down…Your name often appears on Kakashi’s lips during those times.

Like today, or rather, tonight, while Kakashi helps Yamato to walk home. Or was it Yamato that helped Kakashi ? They were kind of slumped against each other’s, walking with difficulties, cheeks red because of the alcohol.

After the scarecrow pronounced your name for the tenth time that night, Yamato finally dared to ask :

-So, you love her ?

-Who ?

-Who could I talk about ?

-(Y/N) ?

Yamato nods. Or, tries to nod, because every movement that are a bit too vigorous makes him want to throw up.

-Yes I do.

-…I am confused, Kakashi-senpai.

-What are you confused about, Tenzou ?

-Don’t call me like that please.

-Don’t call me “senpai” then. What are you confused about ?

-Well, if you’re in love with her, and she is in love with you…why don’t you two just date ?

-Because if we do, she’ll die.

-…I’m even more confused now. Maybe I’m too drunk. Or you’re too drunk.

-I’m definitely drunk, but I can still think straight.

-I don’t get it. I don’t get you. She’s obviously madly in love with you ! And she’s beautiful, kind, caring, nice, extremely funny…

-I know all of that Yamato. But I can’t.

-But…Why ?

-Because everyone I ever loved either died or betrayed me that’s why ! She has to stay away, or something will happen ! It’s simple really !
