Ultimately, for Obi-Wan Kenobi, halfway through Star Wars, to realize that if he sacrifices himself and makes his own death of his making as much as the person who’s causing his death, he’s making himself more powerful than anybody can imagine.  And it’s witnessed by a third person, that young man.  It’s been in front of everybody for all these years.  But you don’t see Obi-Wan Kenobi everywhere.  You see Darth Vader, you see Yoda, and you see Luke.  But Obi-Wan’s the one who made it all happen.

Casual reminder that both Leia and Rey were captured by extremely dangerous, horrible men and were tortured/probed/interrogated for information, but their strength and mental stamina and fierce determination and perseverance were so powerful that they actually resisted. Casual reminder that Darth Vader and Kylo Ren, two of the most dangerous and ruthless people in the galaxy, were absolutely no match for nineteen year old Leia and Rey.

also i just love these details a lot bc before when kasuga didn’t talk to his family his dad would use the tv as a distraction/way of escape? so that way no one would have to interact with anyone in the family they were all so broken

but now they’ve made up and the tv isn’t on (as seen by their reflection) and they’re happy and it's so great
