Q: Some people say the only reason you got famous was because you were very lucky. How would you respond to that?
Yixing: Then you try getting famous relying on luck for me to see. Haha.

ok but where are all the mlm positivity posts?? the mlm wedding blogs???? the funny, relatable posts that only mlm can relate to?? where is the love and recognition for mlm on this site outside of gay shipping??? or do we not deserve love or positivity unless we can be sexualized, fetishized, or exploited–and fictional??? why don’t we have a thing unless it’s related to fictional gay ships that straight women can sexualize and get off to??????

I was fortunate enough to get tickets to SHN In Conversation with Darren Criss, Lena Hall and Hedwig co-creator, Stephen Trask. I thought it was just going to be a talk, but they treated us to this acoustic “crusty nugget” performance of Sugar Daddy. We weren’t supposed to record, but Adam Savage (the moderator) told everyone to get their phones out for this SO HOW COULD I NOT COMPLY :D

I was happily browsing the book haul tag when I come across a member of the “lifting community”. I had a browse of this persons blog and I definitely feel repulsed. Why the hell would you brag about the things you steal? Things you’ve stolen for fun, just to steal. Not because it’s a necessity you can’t afford. This tag is full of people saying “I need tips to steal from lush because no way am I paying $$ for a moisturiser”. How about you aren’t a piece of dirt and buy things like everyone else does?! This tag has made me feel sick - even more so that there’s a “community” of stealers!

This isn’t news to me but I get angrier about it every single time I see it.

“Darren is the most transformable and thrilling of all the Hedwigs I’ve seen,” says Slaight. “He brings enormous vocal dynamics from rock to ballad, unique and deeply resonant character choices, much heart and extraordinary humor.”

“He just simply has star quality,” agrees Greg MacKellan, co-founder of 42nd Street Moon, “It’s why he took off so quickly on ‘Glee, and why he’s continued to shine in his other performances. Although he has impressive training, you can’t learn star quality.”

Getting to take the wig out of the box in his hometown is the uber fanboy experience.

“This city knows and loves ‘Hedwig’ all too well,” he says, “Once I knew they were going to bring it to San Francisco, I knew it had to be me.

I think what I love most about Laurent and Damen together is that they don’t lose themselves, they become more like themselves instead. They become more like the people they were supposed to be. just because they’ve finally found the person who loves and accepts and sees them for exactly who they are.

We want to make some solo projects and find our way by ourselves, and we don’t know if we’re going to be back one day - even if it’s not a “never again”- .

My hands… most importantly, my RIGHT hand… is just plain tired and just aching enough to keep me from comfortably drawing. I’ve overused the muscles at the base of both thumbs due to keeping tight gripping tension in both hands for a couple hours on Monday.

I am determined to keep hacking away at eagle color studies in Photoshop now that I FINALLY HAVE IT WORKING but, despite my really light hold on the pen, my hand just goes “please leave me alone I’m tired oh I’m sore oh I can’t hold this pen it’s just oh so much to ask of me waaaaaaaaah.” And I’m just disproportionately frustrated that this is the result of the day job. I mean, come on!

I’m not worried about my hand, all it needs is to rest and not grip/do any repetitive motion for more than 12 hours? Maybe? It will be just fine once it’s had time to fully rest.

Why are my muscles so tired lately. What did I do. This is stupid I just want to make progress on things.

*looks at mountain of pressing things that need doing*

Sooooo…. Aequis watercolors tomorrow? It’s the best I can do. (Honestly aside from this achey hand business I’m in an unusually good mood. YAY)

anonymous asked:

I wonder what Neal would think if he could see Rumple now. There was only one thing I liked Neal for and that was how he wouldn't put up with Rumple's shit. He warned Rumple in 3A that he'd spend eternity in Pandora's box if Rumple betrayed him and now Rumple only does something for himself. He doesn't care who he has to hurt to get his way.

I would absolutely agree with all of this if Neal hadn’t been the one to resurrect his damn father. Like the only reason Rumple was able to come back and continue to dick around in everyone’s lives and screw things up was because of Neal. Rumple was gone. Not an issue anymore. And Neal undid all that, got himself killed for him, and then has no unfinished business (like the woman and son he supposedly loved so much, he was willing to bring back the very asshole who he supposed hated so much? Yeeeeah, okay…).

Neal ended up hurting a lot of people by bringing his father back because he didn’t care who got in his way when it came to getting Emma and Henry back… so apple doesn’t fall far from the tree there.

Even as a very young boy, he possessed an extraordinary imagination, significant musical gifts, transformational acting talent and a very bright light behind the eye,” says Craig Slaight, director of ACT’s Young Conservatory. “He compelled attention. And his abundant joy from all of the work was contagious. As he grew, all of this sharpened and deepened.
