What is the most important thing we’ve learned in Africa is that :
Although we looked very different to one another,
Some of us are dressed, some of us are naked,
Some of us are painted, some of us are scarified,
Some of us are lip plated, some veiled,
We actually all the same human beings.
We’re similar human emotions and human needs.
Understanding each other cultures,
Celebrating our similarities,
And absorbing our differences,
And embracing the old world as we entered the new,
We’re feeling not only essential to the enrichment of human life,
But also paramount to the pursued of world peace.
