Peter Kogler Sans titre, Kunsthaus Bregenz, 2000 Projection of animations made by computer. Galerie & Edition Artelier, Graz.
“ … self-taught Austrian artist Peter Kogler’s work is greatly influenced by the American minimalists. One of his previous models was Andy Warhol. His early works at the start of the 1980s are ‘minimalist object-maps,’ of which Markus Brüderlin describes: 'Kogler combines the speed of drawing (also in relation to the support of the structural qualities of modern communication techniques) with the inertia associated with the bodies of architecture.’ In 1988, Peter Kogler was honored by the jury of the Ars Prix Electronica in the category of computer graphics for the piece “Untitled I”.”
