To everyone playing Overwatch: If you’re feeling ragey, step away from the computer and relax. You never know who’s going to hear or see the words you say/type.
I was playing with someone in Overwatch- they wanted to play with me and they added me, and I found out they’re ten years old. I made sure to be nice and tell them they were good and to keep up the good work. I won’t be keeping them on my friends list because I am an adult, and don’t want to cross any boundaries, but the point is:
There are kids playing this game. You never know who’s on the other side of that screen- be a good sport, don’t swear at people, and try to be patient. I know it’s difficult to NOT get frustrated in games, especially when you’re losing and dying, but try to make it a bit better for the kids if they’re playing!
Of course parents should monitor their kids online, but we as adults should try to make the experience good for them, too. It goes both ways! We shouldn’t teach kids it’s acceptable to swear or be nasty in online games and expose them to good sportsmanship and fun as much as possible!
OH FUCK IM CRYING I WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF WRITING A MILDLY SMUTTY BIT OF THIS NEXT ILLAKS CHAPTER AND I VERY NEARLY JUST SENT THE DOCUMENT TO MY GRANDPARENT’S PRINTER BY ACCIDENT FUCKCKC THAT WAS SO CLOSE U DONT UNDERSTAND
Luke is a great guy. He’s very special, and he really wants to take care of you and make things right for you. You’re incredibly lucky to have him.
If you give this situation half a chance, you might be surprised at how good it can be, how much you like living here, and how comfortable it feels to have someone like Luke you can really depend on.
