and who knows where next season

From an Interview with Charlie Bean...

This was from an interview released just today, Charlie Bean, director of Tron Uprising, just directed a lego movie and was asked about Uprising during the interview…

People really loved Tron: Uprising and wished it would have gone on longer. It had some great storytelling that explored some really interesting and thought-provoking themes. Had you planned out where another season of the show would have gone next, if it had been able to continue?

BEAN: Oh, yeah, we had a whole other storyline that was in the second season, that we had planned. The first season ended on a cliffhanger, and we had hoped to do more. Who knows? Someday, maybe. It was a really great experience. A lot of the people that I worked with on that show ended up working on Ninjago. The designers who worked on the design of Tron helped design the robots.

Where would you have taken the story?

BEAN: I’d have to dig back into my brain. I’ve been so deep in LEGO for the last four years. Clu was coming to town. Where we wanted to take it was to meet up with where the film starts.

“We had hoped to do more. Who knows? Someday, maybe.”

“Clu was coming to town. Where we wanted to take it was to meet up with where the film starts.“

It also bums me out that of course he has to be as vague as possible about what could have happened since Disney would probably be on him in a second if he dropped details   T__T

Bon Voyage S2 EP.6 - Hoseok & Namjoon's conversation

(re-translated by request)

Hoseok: I haven’t gone on a real trip before, not even once. The Bon Voyage trip was my first…
Namjoon: For me, the fact that we can stay together until the end of the trip… (shakes hands) Since I couldn’t stay till the end last time.
Hoseok: How was last time?
Namjoon: Last time?
Hoseok: After you left first.
Namjoon: I couldn’t go anywhere other than the convenience store, for real. And my studio. I wrote a song in tears, you know. That song was one of the only 2 songs that got confirmed among the songs I sent in one year. Among all the songs I wrote in one year.
Hoseok: Really?
Namjoon: That song was one of those 2.
Hoseok: Seems like you make quite a lot of songs.
Namjoon: No, it’s not that many, I just take a lot of time working on one.
Hoseok: Oh, really?
Namjoon: Yeah, it takes longer than you think.
Hoseok: I’m writing a song recently too…
Namjoon: You should release it, it’s time.
Hoseok: I should.

Hoseok: I always feel this but I envy you.
Namjoon: I envy you. (laughs)
Hoseok: Why do you envy me?
Namjoon: You’re always… You’re the most professional-like in our team. You’re stable and I think that’s how a celebrity should be. I like that. Suga-hyung always jokes “Let’s do a rap line concert”, you know. But it can’t come true right away, it’s hard. I don’t have that many songs. There’s only a few thing I can do. I was only able to write 1 song while in America. I always find it hard to connect the verse and the hook.
Hoseok: Yeah.
Namjoon: When I first make the beat. Suga-hyung is incredible. I feel that sometimes when I listen to ‘Dead Leaves’ or ‘Tomorrow’.
Hoseok: Right.
Namjoon: I really respect Suga-hyung for writing songs for Bangtan. When it comes to writing Bangtan songs…
Hoseok: Right, it’s hard.
Namjoon: I have always wanted to talk about this with you.

Namjoon: People say this. “Taehyung and Jimin look very close, but Hoseok and Namjoon, one is in charge of dancing and one is in charge of rapping”…
Hoseok: Actually we talked a lot more than they think.
Namjoon: No, we talked a lot from time to time.
Hoseok: We talked a lot. I always came look for you when I had a slump in music.
Namjoon: I don’t know about you but, it’s true that you play a very big role of an axle to our mood, in another direction from me. And to be honest, I think you also help fulfilling what I can’t as a leader in the team, mentally.
Hoseok: No…
Namjoon: I’m serious. I’m all about external affairs.*

(*Namjoon means that while he takes care of the more professional matters of the tean like representing them in front of the outer world, Hoseok takes care of the team’s atmosphere and mood.)

Hoseok: Hey, thank you.
Namjoon: Me too.
Hoseok: For real.
Namjoon: No. You know what I think it’s dramatic? I heard you wrote that during Bon Voyage season 1.
Hoseok: They asked in the interview, “Where do you want to go?”, I said “Me? Shouldn’t I want to go to Hawaii at least once?”. The next question was “If you were to go with the members, who do you want to go with?” and I answered, “I want to go with Rap Monster, my same-aged friend”…
Namjoon: Wow.
Hoseok: We didn’t get that kind of chance often, you know.
Namjoon: I was wrong. I shouldn’t asked Hobi to go grab a cup of beer, I should have asked to go grab a cup of peppermint tea.
Hoseok: My favorite tea?
Namjoon: Yeah, you like peppermint tea, don’t you. I can’t understand people who drink peppermint tea.

Hoseok: We actually talk a lot. We talk a lot but it’s just that my character and his character on camera don’t coincide that much and we don’t have many in common, so people might think like that, but in reality, if I were to pick whom I talk with the most, I would pick this friend here.
Namjoon: We talk about trivial stuffs and also serious stuffs, thanks to that.

15 more ideas for your BOS!

Since our last list went down so well, we thought we would put our heads together and think of 15 more ideas for your book!

Let’s get started, in no particular order:

1.       Something to protect your book, I can’t believe this was not on our previous list! Bless your book/protective sigils, something to protect from wandering or prying eyes.

2.       Update your path page (if you have one, or start one) basically saying what your path is, and what is important to you – know this was in the other list, but we believe our practice changes from one year to the next so keep it updated.

3.       Do you have an altar? If so how about a section dedicated to it? How you set it up for ritual, for each sabbat/season (if it changes), life events, for offerings! Keep all that info together, and add pictures and photos.

4.       An ancestor page, where are your ancestors from? Is there anyone you would like to honour? Anyone who has really shaped who you are as a person? Write about them.

5.       Familiars, do you have one? What do you know about them? Have you had one in the past? Write about it.

6.       Tools. Write a list of the tools that are in your practice and how you use them, keep it updated.

7.       Rites/rituals/blessings/recipes that mean something to you and your practice, or ones that you have done, and how they went.

8.       A list of any active charges, wards, sigils that you have running at the moment.

9.       How you meditate

10.   How you ground yourself

11.   How you centre yourself

12.   How you create a sigil

13.   Have you had experience with spirits, done any spirit work? Write about it?

14.   Have you got experience with binding? Or banishing? Write about them.

15.   Draw/paint/be creative.

16.   Bonus! Have you picked up any witchy life hacks? Or little witchy tips? Write them all down in one place.

The Mother Dearest Theory

I almost named this theory “Return of the Mother of all Theories” but I thought “The Mother Dearest Theory” would probably be more fitting considering what this is going to be about. If you haven’t caught on by now with the name, let me fill you in… This theory is going to outline why I think Mary Drake is possibly the new A.D.

I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW “But Rachel, what about Melissa/Twin/Any other possible character?” Simply because… There are too many things that point to Mary that I just can’t ignore anymore, and in true PLL fashion there is possibly Hitchcock involved. From the very beginning when Mary was introduced, she rubbed me the wrong way, something about the way she talks and carries herself screams psychopath to me (and trust me… I’ve spent most of my life researching them.) What she says doesn’t necessarily coincide with what she does, and things have been gradually building up to the point I can’t ignore the signs anymore.

So, let’s start at the beginning so to speak… I’m going to talk about the twins from the Halloween story. We all know how it goes, one twin gets jealous of what the other twin had and then one twin stabs the other. Mary stabbed Jessica, Mary went to Radley, Mary met Pastor Ted and had Charlotte, Mary pretended to be Jessica, Mary got pregnant with Spencer by pretending to be Jessica with Peter (which is the huge secret Jessica and Peter had that they had a deal with), and Mary is batshit fucking crazy.

Also let me ask this question, did we all just up and fucking forget this happened?

How the hell did we forget that Mary dressed up as her dead sister to scare Alison (AND PUT HER IN THE HOSPITAL) and for that matter… How in the bloody hell did Mary know what Jessica was buried in if she wasn’t there burying herself. And for that matter, it would mean she ways the one who not only buried her- but she was there when Alison was buried as well. If you remember in season 5 when Alison came back to rosewood and Jessica’s body was found, Alison got a video of her mother being buried with a text attached saying “I buried her the same way I watched her bury you.”

To be fairly truthful whether Mary stabbed Jessica doesn’t matter, the facts are that Mary spent a lot of time in Radley where (like I’ve outlined multiple times in other theories and it actually comes into play later…) Mary assumes Jessica’s identity which confirms not only that she was the mother Bethany was talking about and the “is it like mother like daughter?” Was referring to Mary and Charlotte and not Jessica and Alison, which is confirmed by the flashback of Jessica screaming at Alison that Cece was at Radley calling herself Alison.

Now to my favorite part… The Hitchcock aspect. Does everyone remember that scene where Hanna was being tortured in the barn and she hallucinates that’s Spencer is there stroking her hair and singing a song? (The same song and scene that they recreated with Mary and Spencer in the 7x10)

Yeah that’s not a coincidence, look at Mary’s history… She assumes Jessica’s identity, she assumes Charlottes identity as A.D., she’s now assuming Spencer’s identity. Yes, my friends… PLL is pulling a reverse Psycho where Mother assumes the role of Norman instead of the other way around. Think about it, what’s the FIRST thing she does? Buy the lost woods, just as Norman Bates did with his mother and the bates motel. And just as Norman Bates assumed the identity of his mother, Mary seems to take the personality of her daughters on- becoming A.D. As Charlotte was A, and now becoming more caring, calm, and subdued like Spencer… Also people have been passing around this photo:

I’d like you to notice something, look at the make-up and body language of both the scene where Spencer’s with Hanna and this scene compared to Mary’s tea cup scene… That ISN’T Spencer in there… That’s Mary. Confirmed by the fact Andrea was wearing the EXACT dress she was wearing.

Also, since we know for sure Mary and Archer we’re working together (and that she was helping torture Alison) guess who the only other person was who knew about the barn? Yep. Mary. And what just happened last episode? Hanna getting locked in like she was back in the barn, considering Archer is dead… There’s really only one other person who knew. Mary.

Mary seems to have a pattern of assuming the identities of people she’s close with, so naturally that next step would be Spencer. Mary showed up before Charlotte died and A.D. Was introduced just as Charlotte appeared once Mona lost the game as A after season 2.

Mary bought the Lost Woods where Hanna was kidnapped and tortured. And for that very matter how in the living fresh hell did she get that money in the first place? Mary was known to be working with Archer and we know for a fact whoever A.D. Is not only worked with Archer but knows the girls killed him.

We know for a fact that Mary was involved with everything because she LITERALLY SAYS TORTURING ALISON IS WHAT CHARLOTTE WOULD HAVE WANTED. Just like some antagonist I know of who seems to be targeting the girls because they think they had something to do with Charlotte’s death.

We also know Jessica had some sore of heart condition and trouble getting to sleep (as per her prescriptions) that I don’t know… Would probably coincide with a devastating childhood trauma involving her twin sister? Which would only make Mary hate Jessica even MORE causing her to assume Jessica’s identity. “But she was in Radley!” Doesn’t it seem odd to anyone how the twin story was put in chronological order to where oddly a Radley sanitarium car shows up at the house the exact DAY the twin story is told?

This would also mean Charlotte, Mary, and Bethany were all in Radley at the same time and if that doesn’t scream trouble incoming I don’t know what does. This also brings me to the obvious blatant lie that Mary and Charlotte didn’t know each other. She literally called herself Cece Drake. The same last name. And Mary says with quite confidence “You’re the only man my daughter truly ever loved”

Side-note, whoever is revealed as Jessica’s killer could’ve possibly made the mistake of thinking they were killing Mary instead of Jessica, in which case you’d think it would throw the theory off course- but it actually doesn’t. It could’ve been Charlotte and she lied about it, it could’ve been someone who thought Jessica was Mary by mistake, it could’ve been Mary herself. But the signs point to Mary as being her killer, or at least being there as Jessica was being buried per her clothes a la zombie Jessica in 6x20.

Now as per why… Simple answer, Mary wants everything that she feels was taken from her. She wants the life that she feels was taken from her. She wants revenge for the daughter she lost. She wants revenge on the families who had what she always wanted.

As for Charlotte’s killer (If she’s dead at all…) I will tell you that you’d do well to watch Mona. Or even possibly someone who appears to be Mona. They’re going to bring in Melissa and Wren to make it appear as though they have something to do with it, revealing things that we’ve wondered about them for a long time…

And Melissa’s luggage bag handle may have been missing but I would like to remind you… Who paid off the mechanic and drove the huge truck that nearly ran over Emily to get it back?

I hope the theory was well worth the wait, it was good to get back in the theory game again.

Don’t worry, we all go a little mad sometimes.

new theory as to what is going to happen next:

Isak is desperate to learn who Mikael is and what he knows about Even - what his connection is to Even.

I am so certain that the next clip we are going to get is Isak making a deal with Sana to help her raise the money she needs for the russbuss, only if she talks to Mikael and finds out everything she can about his connection to Even and bakka

Just like another parallel to where Isak’s story started in season 3 when Sana blackmailed Isak into going to kosegruppa. She brought Even into Isak’s story

Isak will bring Mikael into Sana’s

It 👏🏻  is 👏🏻 all 👏🏻 happening!👏🏻

anonymous asked:

After reading Just Hold On I was wondering what your thoughts are on Victor never calling Yuuri after the banquet in canon? If it was reversed like in your fic I would understand it since Yuuri is so insecure and harsh on himself but there wasn't really a reason for Victor not to call Yuuri again? Do you think he was scared of rejection? Do you think he assumed Yuuri didn't want him, hence making the Eros routine about the seducer throwing his lover away after a one night stand?

Hi, Nonny, I seriously doubt you wanted a whole character/motivation analysis in response to this question, but… I’m a perfectionist and obsessed with YOI, so here you go. Also, thanks so much for reading and enjoying my fic.

Upon initial viewing of YOI, I definitely thought the banquet reveal was cool as a narrative twist, but also somewhat unrealistic. You’re telling me Viktor Nikiforov, international superstar and sap, didn’t have the resources or motivation to find Katsuki Yuuri and confess his undying love?

WHOO BOY, here we go. I think Viktor not contacting Yuuri after the banquet is actually justified, which I’ll summarize:

1. Viktor is a romantic optimist

2. Both Viktor and Yuuri view themselves as ‘the pursued’ and not ‘the pursuer’ in the Eros story

3. Rejection is possibly the most immense vulnerability Viktor has

1.      Viktor is a romantic optimist

This has been heavily discussed on Tumblr, but I’m going to throw in my two cents. Let’s discuss Eros and Agape: Viktor’s two possible programs for the next season. Assuming these are about Yuuri, I’m going to propose a weird idea that this means Viktor has prepared two plans: one for if Yuuri contacts him before next season, and one for if he doesn’t.

Plan A, Agape: Yuuri contacts Viktor. Viktor skates to a program about unconditional love. In the show they talk about Agape like it’s about someone who ‘doesn’t know what love is yet.’ The someone is Viktor, and I could easily see this as his program for a season where he’s just started to experience Life and Love in a relationship with Yuuri.

Plan B, Eros: Yuuri doesn’t contact Viktor. Viktor skates to a program that seduces the entire world’s pants off. He would’ve dominated every competition, and won a mountain of gold medals; basically, he’d seduce Yuuri until the other man came back.

Note that there are only two plans here: start to experience unconditional love with Yuuri, or seduce the crap out of him until returns to Viktor. There is no third plan titled ‘Viktor Nikiforov Moves On.’ It’s get Katsuki Yuuri or bust, because Viktor is a romantic optimist.

Naturally, Yuuri throws a surprise wrench in all of Viktor’s plans by not making it to Worlds and breaking it off with Celestino, and then moving back to Hasetsu. Suddenly, Yuuri’s not his competitor; he needs a coach, just like he told Viktor in Sochi.

Even if you don’t agree with my particular strange interpretation, we know that Viktor is a romantic optimist because he fell in love with a drunkard over the course of a night and proceeded to move his entire life halfway across the world for him. All Yuuri had to do was make a romantic gesture with that viral video, from Viktor’s POV, and Viktor shoved his apartment into boxes and left Russia so fast Yakov got whiplash from watching him go.

Viktor wants that love story, but he approaches it in a roundabout way. Viktor is probably a tiny bit socially inept (again, there’s a lot of Tumblr discourse on this so I’m not going to go into it) from being a skating celebrity rather than an average human being, and he also loves grand gestures. Expressing his love through skating is THE WAY TO GO, right?? SURELY Yuuri will GET IT?

So why didn’t he just call Yuuri up, rather than waiting? What I wrote above probably contributed to his decision not to contact Yuuri, but the main reason he didn’t lies more in points two and three; I just had to establish Viktor as a romantic optimist.

2.      Both Viktor and Yuuri view themselves as ‘the pursued’ and not ‘the pursuer’ in the Eros story

Firstly, we can all appreciate that Viktuuri is a relationship which doesn’t rely on negative queer stereotypes of one person dominating the relationship, or on traditional gender roles. Viktor and Yuuri take the lead in different aspects of their relationship, and it’s incredibly healthy.

That being said, we all know that Yuuri views himself as the abandoned beautiful woman in the story of Eros… but we discover in episode 10 that Viktor also identifies that way. God, I love this show.

As far as Viktor knows, Yuuri is this unstoppable force who can royally screw up the GPF and then give Viktor the most magical, fun night the very next day. Yuuri is someone who blows Japanese nationals, loses his coach, and responds by virally owning the frickin program that holds the World Record in an extremely public and romantic display. Meanwhile, Yuuri thinks he’s an anxious, mediocre skater. In Yuuri’s head, he is the beautiful woman who initially rejects the playboy because she knows he’s going to leave her; in Viktor’s head Yuuri is the playboy who wrecks hearts and whole towns just by showing up.

Comparing their views is hilarious. Yuuri thinks Viktor is a playboy, untouchable and bound to leave him. Viktor thinks Yuuri is a playboy that’s already wooed and subsequently rejected him, which I’ll dive into in the next section. When Yuuri says he’s underconfident, that he can’t skate Eros, and panics at competitions, Viktor’s initial response is just ????????? But you are this whirlwind force of nature???? Everyone loves you????? How do I help you?????

Frankly, Viktor’s view of Yuuri doesn’t allow him to understand that this man, who seems so bold and capable of pursuing what he wants, is restricted both by his anxiety and also his lack of knowledge about the banquet. Yuuri isn’t calling Viktor? Well, Viktor’s easy to find—he’s a major presence. If Yuuri wanted him, he’d come and get him, and that’s Viktor initial conceptualization of the situation. Yuuri’s not pursuing Viktor, so he must not want him.

Another recent discourse on Tumblr I’ve seen is the idea that it’s Yuuri’s fantasy to be pursued. He wants to be attractive and irresistible and catch Viktor’s attention; of course, he simultaneously thinks he’s too average to ever do so. Yuuri thinks he’s been chasing Viktor his whole life and will never catch up; he wants to be the one chased in the end. On the flip side, Viktor is the first one to pursue: he approaches a drunk Yuuri, he takes pictures, he starts to dance with him. He likes him.

But his crush is cemented when Yuuri demands and commands his attention, essentially pursuing him. Viktor likes to be desired, likes to skate for an audience, probably is turned on by the idea that Yuuri is his fan and has always wanted him. We all know he’s the jealous type (ahem: Chihoko) and needs Yuuri’s attention in return.

Basically: both of them are Extra, and after the banquet Viktor thinks it is Yuuri’s place to pursue, wants Yuuri to pursue him, sees himself as hopelessly and attracted and wants Yuuri to signal that he likes him in return. When the viral video comes out, both of them hilariously still think the other is ‘the pursuer,’ because in Yuuri’s POV Viktor just shows up and announces his position as coach, whereas in Viktor’s POV Yuuri has (finally) put out the siren call that Viktor has been waiting for. Both of them are helplessly crushing on each other in a miscommunication of epic proportions.

Anyway. The idea of Viktor wanting to be pursued, and feeling like he’s the abandoned ‘beautiful woman’ so he doesn’t call Yuuri, leads straight into what I think is the greatest motivator for Viktor lack of contact: rejection.

3.      Rejection is Viktor’s vulnerability

Viktor is a man whose entire life, from the time he was a teenager, has been based off of seeking people’s approval. Which people? Everyone: judges, the ISU, probably his parents, Yakov, the media, the frickin whole of Russia. Viktor’s career and his existence mostly relies on approval; we all know he fears becoming someone unable to surprise, someone unable to win and gain approval from those around him. Viktor dances around the things he really wants—there’s been so much Tumblr discourse about this that I’m just going to point out the ocean scene vaguely. Rather than straight-up telling Yuuri that he wants to be his boyfriend, he proposes it flippantly and as an open question. This is how you try to avoid rejection, friends.

Anyway, going back to the main point.

This is something that I haven’t seen discussed a lot, but you have to remember that Viktor and Yuuri’s actual first interaction was Yuuri rejecting him and walking away. It’s not unreasonable for Viktor to think Yuuri is going to reject him: Yuuri does it multiple times throughout the show, though it’s likely never for the reasons Viktor thinks it is. Viktor does not cope well with rejection. He goes and gets drunkenly smashed every time he’s rejected in the show (this is more popular Tumblr discourse, so I’m not going to get into it here).

If you think Viktor has never met a fan in real-life and disappointed them before or failed to meet their expectations, you are dead wrong. He’s been an international celebrity for… what, 10 years? I’m sure at least one person, probably multiple, have rejected him upon actually meeting him because he wasn’t what they envisioned. Yuuri is a fan, and Viktor is a superstar, and while we may think it’s on Viktor to reach out and express his interest because he’s a celebrity, it’s also on Yuuri to express that he is interested in the real Viktor, the guy he danced with at the banquet.

If Viktor contacts Yuuri and is rejected—by the first person that’s really made him feel inspired and excited in the longest time—it’s all over, and in a heartbreaking way. Viktor likes to hold onto hope (optimist!), and is terrified of rejection. Note that the second Yuuri “contacts him” with the video, and seems to accept and reciprocate Viktor’s feelings, Viktor has zero reservations about going to him. Of course, when he gets there Yuuri basically rebuffs him, which is why he cries and gets savagely aggravated in the first few episodes. Alas, Viktor is still a romantic optimist (see part 1) so he sticks around and tries to feel Yuuri out. You like me, right? Look, I am sexy and I can make all your dreams come true, look at me, please don’t reject me?

Even the fact that Viktor shows up and immediately frames himself as Yuuri’s coach, something Yuuri clearly needs, asked for, and is less likely to reject, something Viktor feels qualified for, is very telling. Rather than saying I’ve been in love with you since the banquet, I’m here to give this a shot it’s I’m going to be your coach!

Just because Viktor doesn’t have anxiety doesn’t make him any less prone to fear of rejection. Fear of rejection is a human thing that we all experience. So… he doesn’t call.

One of my favorite things about their relationship is the way Yuuri handles this fear, and essentially says: I’m not going to reject you if you’re not exactly who I want you to be. You, yourself, are what I want: just be real with me.

Yuri on Ice is a beautiful thing.

To conclude this very long rant, I’ll relate this back to my fic quickly (spoiler alert, by the way) and just say the way JHO (WGH) flips this and makes it… more angsty, rather than what happened for canon Viktor, is by relying on:

·        Yuuri is an anxious pessimist. Yuuri worries that Viktor will leave him, that this time will be just like the banquet, which is completely understandable. Viktor is a superstar and, in Yuuri’s head, he is a nobody that served as Viktor’s drunken fling for a night.

·        Yakov serving as the matchmaker, rather than Viktor calling for Yuuri. Unlike canon, Yuuri has no indication that Viktor wants him in Russia, has no idea that Yuuri is literally there for Viktor (well, not just for him, clearly he is a great skater, but that’s a major reason why Yakov took Yuuri on). This only fuels his anxiety and pessimism further.

Basically, I write angsty fluff and overthink things. Also all of this is conjecture, so please don’t hate me.

Again, thanks so much for your questions and your interest! Sorry I responded with a three page character analysis rather than being a normal person.

Yuri!!! On Ice Season 2 - Possible Release Date Being Announced This Weekend

For those of you who don’t know, this weekend Mitsurou Kubo, aka creator of Yuri!!! On Ice, and the directors, artists and voice actors of the show will be hosting an event known as Yuri!!! On Stage. Usually at events these kinds of events, big information is revealed, and that could mean we could be getting some information of the highly anticipated season 2.

Season 2 is already in the works, as animators have already begun working. News has revealed that Kubo should have the script for the next season before the end of this year. Staff members have also been making trips around the world, visiting St. Petersburg and Moscow on more than one occasion. So, this can confirm that season 2 will be taking place in Russia, with Yuuri training with Viktor for the upcoming FS season. (where season 1 left off)

Will we get a trailer this weekend? Who knows if we will. Fans who have been following the writers and staff of the show are highly anticipating one. And the staff is very aware of how badly the fans want their second season. Director Yamamoto stated in an interview that she has plenty of ideas that she wants to put into the next installment, and she came up with these brilliant ideas when she was editing episode 10 of season 1. (When Yuuri and Viktor exchanged rings).

This may hint to something happening between Viktor and Yuuri (wedding), but then again, I’m just assuming things and jumping straight to conclusions. Will we get a wedding in the second season? Again, it is unclear as to right now, but I would keep it in mind. (I sure hope we get it, tbh)

I will be keeping you all posted by giving you updates. If any of you have any questions, please feel free to leave one in my asks box and I’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

Yeah, I think it’s kind of hard to see that not happening. When we were shooting Season 1 and no one had seen the show yet, we were in Malta. Back then, there was not a lot of secrecy because nobody was paying attention, and George R.R. Martin came to visit and he was being quite open about his plans. He said something: That it really is all about Dany and Jon. I was surprised because at the time, you know, I thought, well Robb Stark’s going to be king next, probably. And who knows where this story’s going? But it was absolutely clear to him that within this sprawling scale the whole story was coming down to this partnership.

So yes, we’ve seen them take a big step in my episode. And I love this moment between them where you can sort of see it welling up for Dany, and it was great job by Emilia [the actress Emilia Clarke] of sort of feeling it and almost falling into it and drawing back from it. But yeah, it’s gonna happen.

Notes: Firstly I’m sorry this is out later than planned, I’ve been teasing this piece for way too long. Secondly I stuggled a bit getting into Jughead’s POV style. I think this just gives me an excuse to rewatch the season again and pick up on his narration style. Finally if you have any suggestions on where you think this should go let me know, I have the next 2 parts planned but I am intrigued to see where you think it will go. Collabing is my fave! Anyway, enjoy.

Jughead’s POV

Southside High was certainly rough around the edges. Riverdale was a beauty in comparison.

The metal detectors were new to me, I’d never been searched to go to class before. It was a sign of the times, I guess. Just another new thing to get used to. I headed to my locker, headphones on and eyes to the ground. I was still the new kid after all. I took out my math textbook and a copy of ‘Of Mice And Men’ for English, luckily I’d read it at Riverdale so I wouldn’t be unprepared. I checked my phone, killing time before first period. Betty had already text me twice, despite us being on the phone only twenty minutes before.

Betty: Riverdale feels weird without you Jug. I miss you :( xx

Betty: I can’t wait to see you again. Friday can’t come quick enough xx

Me: I miss you too Bets. Being the new kid is strange. Friday is going to get me through though. Can’t wait to see you x x

At Riverdale, I may have been the outcast but I had Betty Cooper by side. Betty was the strongest person I had ever known, I knew if anyone could handle this distance it was her. I had moved here to keep her safe, I just hoped she wouldn’t get herself into trouble. Considering the current state of affairs that was the town of Riverdale however, trouble could be anywhere we turned.

As a matter of fact, I do!

+ Yuri is obsessed with the movie Twister. He saw it when it was on TV and then begged his grandpa to buy the actual DVD–which he brought with him on so many competitions that it became too scratched for the DVD player to even recognize. It’s his go-to movie when he needs to unwind, when he’s sick, when he’s lonely, but never when he’s bored (because Twister is a masterpiece that should never be associated with boredom). He owns three copies of the blu-ray and digital downloads on iTunes and Amazon (just in case). Pretty Little Chess Game

There are many game analogies in Pretty Little Liars. The torture of the girls by A is known as the A Game. When Marlene talks about the show she refers to Endgame frequently. It is evident that A views his/her psychological torture of the liars as a game.

There have been many instances where A, as well as other characters, have referenced a game

When CeCe reveals herself as A (although I don’t think she was A, but was taking the fall for someone else) she says, “Game Over.

Have you ever noticed that a chess board is prominently displayed on the table in Ezra’s apartment?

Aria and Ezra play chess in 5x04 and a few episodes later Spencer gets a text from A that says “Check mate.”

We know A likes games, there were several in the Dollhouse playroom.

Chess pieces in order of strength/value:

  • 1 King
  • 1 Queen
  • 2 Rooks/Castles
  • 2 Bishops
  • 2 Knights
  • 8 Pawns

In chess, the king is the most important piece. The object of the game is to threaten the opponent’s king in such a way that escape is not possible (checkmate). If a player’s king is threatened with capture, it is in check and the player must remove the threat of capture on the next move. If this cannot be done, the king is said to be in checkmate, resulting in a loss for that player.

I don’t believe that Mona or CeCe was ever Uber A/A.D.  Their King was in check so they took the fall by taking the King out of check. How did they do that? Mona said she was A and was admitted to Radley and CeCe said she was A and was admitted to Welby.

In both of these instances, the cops stopped looking for A, because they thought there was no longer a threat. In order for the game to continue, they sacrificed themselves to protect the King.

So who is the King? = A.D / Uber A.

  • I believe this has been the same person throughout the entire show.
  • The two people I believe could be represented as the King are:
  • Wren Kingston
    • King is in his name
  • Ezra Fitz
    • The chess board is in is apartment
    • He was spying on the girls for YEARS (I have written in great lengths about why I think Ezra is A in other posts so I am not going into details here)
  • Charles wore a tuxedo in the Dollhouse. Uber A is a MAN. If it was CeCe, who claims she always wanted to be a girl, she would not have dressed as a man.

In chess, although the king is the most important piece, it is usually the weakest piece in the game until a later phase, the endgame. Players cannot make any move that places the king in check.

A is the most important, but because he needs to protect his identity at all costs, he is the weakest.

The queen is the most powerful piece in the game of chess, able to move any number of squares vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Each player starts the game with one queen, placed next to the king. Because of the value of a queen, it is sometimes used as bait to lure an opponent into a trap by a queen sacrifice. Another tactic is to use the queen to threaten the opponent’s queen, to either retreat or to exchange the queen (losing both of them) to reduce the game to less powerful pieces. The queen is often used in conjunction with another piece, such as teamed with a bishop or rook, where the pieces could guard each other while threatening the opponent pieces.

So who is the Queen? = Red Coat

  • The Queen is the King’s right hand
  • The two people I believe could be represented as the Queen are:
    • Melissa Hastings (if the King is Wren)

She is Red Coat, Wren was coloring a picture of her. This is his dream of his future family.

I think she was the one in the Queen of Hearts costume

And she is most likely Black Veil/Widow ((Her husband Ian died, she is actually a widow))

    • But my #1 pick for the Queen is Aria Montgomery (if the King is Ezra)

We have seen Aria in a Red Coat:

The Queen is the most powerful piece because it can move anywhere on the board. Aria is fooling everyone by making herself look like a victim. But in fact she is the Queen. The analogy can be used that Aria can “move anywhere on the board” because she is best friends with the Liars and always knows what they are planning/thinking. She has infiltrated the ‘enemy.’ She can see everything first hand, go anywhere and it won’t look suspicious, because the Liars think she is on their side.

In chess, one team has White pieces, and the other has Black pieces. For this situation, Ezra and Aria are the evil black pieces (A), and Ali & the Liars are the good white pieces (B).

Ezra is using his Queen, Aria, to threaten the opponents Queen, Ali.

Aria is Queen A

Ali is Queen B

Look at this A message to Ali that was written in the newspaper:

Aria can be seen as the Black -evil- Queen (A), while Ali can be seen as the White -good- Queen, (B).

In the Christmas episode, when Mona is ‘murdered,’ Marlene tweeted:

In Chess, sometimes the Queen is sacrificed. Ezra wanted the White Queen Ali in the Dollhouse, but he decided to settle for Mona. He had Mona dress up as Ali and pretend to be her in the Dollhouse.

Mona is the newborn white PROM queen

Meanwhile, what is our Evil Queen Aria wearing?

Castling is an important goal in Chess, because it serves two valuable purposes: it moves the king into a safer position away from the center of the board, and it moves the rook to a more active position in the center of the board. There are 2 Rooks.

Who are the Rooks? = CeCe Drake & Mona Vanderwaal

As I explained earlier, they both took the fall to protect the King.

Mona pretended to be A to and was put into Radley and CeCe pretended to be Charles and was institutionalized into Welby for 5 years.

Each player begins the game with two bishops. One starts between the king’s knight and the king, the other between the queen’s knight and the queen. The bishop has no restrictions in distance for each move, but is limited to diagonal movement. Bishops, like all other pieces except the knight, cannot jump over other pieces. A bishop captures by occupying the square on which an enemy piece sits. As a consequence of its diagonal movement, each bishop always remains on either the white or black squares, and so it is also common to refer to them as light-squared or dark-squared bishops.

Who are the Bishops? = Jenna Marshall & Noel Kahn

While they aren’t as powerful in the A Game as the others, they have significant roles.

Noel and Jenna are working together.

  • Him and Mona dated and worked together
  • It’s possible he murdered Sara Harvey
  • Maya was last seen at his Lake House
  • He has snooped on the Liars many times
  • Is possibly Varjack
  • Noel helped psychologically torture the girls in the Dollhouse
  • He had Mary’s Radley file in a lockbox in the hotel.

Jenna has plenty of reasons to hate the Liars and work against them

  • They blinded her by throwing the smoke bomb into her shed
  • Ali blackmailed her with her knowledge of Jenna and Toby’s weird relationship
  • Had something to do with the Cabin Fire
  • She was working with CeCe and Archer in Welby

A knight is resented by a horse’s head and neck. Each player starts with two knights. The knight move is unusual among chess pieces. When it moves, it can move to a square that is two squares horizontally and one square vertically, or two squares vertically and one square horizontally. The complete move therefore looks like the letter L. Unlike all other standard chess pieces, the knight can ‘jump over’ all other pieces (of either color) to its destination square. A knight should always be close to where the action is, meaning it is best used on areas of the board where the opponent’s pieces are clustered or close together.

It is interesting to note that the finale of Season 7 next week is titled “The Darkest Knight.”

Who are the Knights? = Lucas Gottesman and Darren Wilden

We know Lucas has been part of the game.

  • Ali bullied him constantly, calling him Hermie.
  • He was the one wearing the gloves who gave Emily the massage.
  • Emily and Hanna are conveniently living in his ‘smart’ apartment.

There was always something up with Darren Wilden

  • He was on the Halloween train dressed as the second Queen of Hearts
  • He was always hounding the girls for information on Ali. He really wanted to find her, and I think it is because he was working for A.
  • He had a connection with CeCe

The pawn is the most numerous piece in the game of chess, and in most circumstances, also the weakest. Unlike the other pieces, pawns may not move backwards. Normally a pawn moves by advancing a single square, but the first time a pawn is moved, it has the option of advancing two squares. Pawns may not use the initial two-square advance to jump over an occupied square, or to capture. Any piece directly in front of a pawn, friend or foe, blocks its advance.

Who are the White (good) Pawns? Emily, Spencer, Hannah, Caleb, & Toby, with Ali as the White Queen B.

This next pic is hard to see. It says: “Once you know what someone cares about it’s easy to beat them, to separate them. Just like in chess. I lure each one and I isolate each of them, and knock them off the board. I’m almost grateful that Mona so unwittingly attempted to play me, because now all the pieces are mine. And when I crush them, and I will, that’s checkmate for all of them.”

Absolute favorite theory I have written!!!  Thanks for reading! xox

🔥 Aku

He looks so terribly off-model in season 5 every time he appeared on screen I experienced physical pain

^^^ cute, pleasant to look at, flowy boy who is at least somewhat coherent

^^^ a disgusting plank of wood who can’t keep the same proportions for like, 2 frames

Don’t get me wrong, the older season had some major animation fuck ups as well but they sorta TRIED to stay on model??? Or in the very least KNEW how to??

With the new season every new shot of Aku ad me cringing like “Oh god, please let this next scene have him look good-NOPE”, and I’m not kidding, in the whole season there are maybe 3 SHOTS where he was drawn decently.

I’ve drawn this boy for a long time so I know from experience if you get a single particle of his face slightly off he instantly looks WRONG and I’ll give the animators that, but,,, LOOK AT THIS SHIT??? DID THEY EVEN TRY? DID THEY PAY THEM ENOUGH?? I HATE LOOKING AT THIS

V Route Theory and A Look in the RFA Orientation Guide Book

Okay okay okay I’m super hyped about the upcoming V Route that Cheritz has kindly promised to release in August. Honestly? V was my favorite for a very long time, probably since I played the Secret Endings (so you can imagine what I felt when… you know… V… RFA’s gonna need a new blue boy…)

As you can see from the Jumin and Saeyoung Routes, the boys and the MC have lived in the same home for a few days. MC checked in on Jumin after Elly went missing and helped de-stress him while Jumin wanted to un-dress her. Then with Saeyoung, he saved the MC from “Unknown” (or AKA: Saeran) and lived in Rika’s apartment for a few days with her. Even with Zen’s Route, the MC visited his home to check in on him. And in all of those routes, some, ahem, romance happens.

I’ve heard my fair share of V Route theories. The MC playing as Rika for one, then there’s the debate if it’s romantic or platonic. Either way I’m thrilled to see more of V, and probably see more of Rika and Saeran. But I got to thinking, Saeyoung’s pretty strict on security. He has a CCTV in Rika’s hallways and he has a password for his house in Arabic. When the information about the bomb in the apartment gets out… because, you know, in pretty much all of the routes the bomb is mentioned. Seeing the common theme of MC going to one of the boy’s houses (or them coming to her) it wouldn’t be a stretch to say in the V Route for the MC to go to V’s apartment for security reasons. I mean, in a Route for him, he’d probably be in the RFA chats more often. Maybe often enough to see MC kinda panicking about the bomb (honestly, who wouldn’t? One wrong typo on Saeyoung’s part and the whole apartment complex would fucking explode before he could say “oops”. Not that I doubt the child genius but… mistakes can happen) and invite her to stay with him. V often a time wants to take the burden on himself so since he technically owns the apartment, he knows the address and could easily go get MC or have MC come to him. But most likely go to MC, I mean for security reasons she shouldn’t wander off when Unknown is after her and the bomb could go off…

But yeah, and seeing how V doesn’t go on the chatroom very often it would be believable for most of the Route to be a visual novel, spare MC in the chatrooms. Since Cheritz confirmed it was an eleven day Route, I’m sure it follows the standard.

But something that gets to me is the “Another Story” title of the Route; it could really mean anything. Maybe an alternate universe, maybe in the past making the MC a past girlfriend before the RFA, or maybe even the MC playing as Rika (though I really doubt it, the fandom would throw their phone into hell before they play as Rika for the most part). Basically meaning, the title makes it even more curious and most of the fandom is craving to know what’s gonna happen. I’m dying to know how the V Route is gonna play out, but I hope my theory is true. It’d be nice to see how living with V is and how his description matches his living style. In the RFA Orientation Guide Book: For VIPs found in the RFA VIP Package, you can see he lives very simply. His hobby is art collecting, his favorite food is “simple and convenient pain de champagne”, he doesn’t really have a least favorite food, and his most used app is his photo album. Even his favorite quote is “The bud of our love will swell up during the summer wind, and blossom into a beautiful flower next time we meet” (also, in the 1 Year special chat with V, he said that “our relationship began during the season with the most bountiful sunlight”: probably summer. “The bud of our love will swell up during the SUMMER WIND”, was I the only one who noticed this btw? “And blossom into a beautiful flower next time we meet”: the next time the MC resets and meets V again, probably. Maybe Cheritz has been foreshadowing for months? Who knows)

Anyways, off track-slightly-and basically saying that living with V for a few days would be killer fun. You don’t hear anything about his family, except in the Christmas DLC where Jumin mentions something bad about his mother, and even the Guide guessed about his height. It said “179cm… Probably?”, he is a very mysterious character indeed. He has no desired items, his username is a pen name for his art, in the Guide his most recent problems are just labeled as “-”, and he maybe has ten inputs in the RFA chatrooms on average. It’s pretty cool to imagine learning more about him. Plus he has cool, brightly colored hair that I now want.

It yeah, my theory right or wrong, I’ll take it as I can get it. Cheritz is already blessing us with a V Route so what more can you hope for? Probably a Saeran Route, but we’ll have to see about that.

Now, I would like to talk about the Q&A V got in the RFA Guide.

The fourth question he was asked was about what he would do if he got involved in a love triangle. “I don’t want to imagine such a question. I’m sorry.” He isn’t interested in a love triangle, or rather he wants nothing to do with one, which is understand. V wants everyone to be happy and he wants to protect everyone, let it be two people all over him he’d probably feel horrible the entire time. Or maybe him having feelings for a person someone else has eyes for, he’d probably let the other person have them. Well… Jumin… Rika… well… I don’t think he knew Jumin had the hots for Rika…

The sixth question asked for his ideal type, he said that he just wanted someone to connect with, but that he doesn’t think he’ll meet another person like that. Well, the MC in the good endings usually are as empathetic as they can get and connects to the RFA members with ease. BAM! Ideal type. I believe that a reason that V is so attached to Rika and unwilling to give her up is because he doesn’t think he’ll find anyone like her. He’s attached to the idea of a “true love” so I doubt he had many, or for that matter any, ex girlfriends. He doubts that he can find someone else, which is terrible because he was in an abusive relationship and bent to Rika’s every will, which wasn’t good for either of them. Everyone who has ever been or is currently in an abusive relationship deserves to have a happy and healthy companionship. V’s philosophical and probably spent a lot of time analyzing and studying Rika, everyone knows the pain of losing something you spent so long working on be it a book series, a school assignment, a job, or anything like that. It’s frustrating and you want to hold onto it as tightly as you can because you don’t want to let it go. Rika and V held the first RFA party four years ago, they’ve probably been together for longer. They took in Saeran while he was still a teenager and met Saeyoung at an even younger age. They’ve been with each other for a very long time and it’s hard to let go of someone like that because you’ve already invested so much time into them and so many memories. It’s tough, I couldn’t even imagine how heart wrenching it was for him. I’ve stayed with most of my childhood friends and I haven’t delved into a long term relationship in a long time, and even then it was only for a year or so. V and Rika have been together for easily 6-7 years, V was invested from the beginning and it’s depressing to even think about him thinking all that time, energy, and emotions is lost if he loses Rika. Which ended up having Rika and the RFA lose him.

(Also wondering, the Guide said he has a sister and his parents, why weren’t they at his funeral? All of the RFA members (spare MC) shared a eulogy at the funeral while his family wasn’t even mentioned, if was even said that they lived abroad but certainly they would go down for their son and brother’s funeral? Just a thought)

V also said in question ten that he looks for a girl’s heart that he’s interested in. V’s a very sweet man and like I’ve said many, many times; I’m uber excited for a V Route.

Anyway, considering the fact V has terrible handwriting (Rika made him type letters instead of writing them because of it ;-;) it’d be nice for the MC to embrace his terrible handwriting and for V to be surprised. He’d probably be grateful and notice the difference between the MC and Rika (unlike Yoosung haha) because of it. While Rika wants to change V, the MC wants V to evolve into the best, happiest version of himself. That’s what the MC does in the good endings, she makes the RFA members happy and evolves them into something great rather than someone they’re not.

Now, in the Top Secret book from the VIP Package, you get to see concept V (a total cutie) and his backstory.

“We developed V as someone who truly achieves philosophical love. Because he had to be Jumin’s childhood friend and the leader at the same time, we wanted him to be soft but infallible.”

This is V’s character. He “truly achieves philosophical love” and he’s “soft but infallible”. Infallible basically means he can do no wrong, which isn’t really true to him. But another meaning is to knowing the truth with certainty, which relates to him more. He knew that Mint Eye was a bad idea and he knew Rika wouldn’t feel real joy from it. V knew the truth about most everything, and that represents his character. He kept things from the RFA, which was bad, yeah, but he knew the truth but instead of seeing help, he was “soft” and wanted to keep the RFA out of danger. Does that make sense to you guys? Sometimes translating things from my brain to typing it is a, uh, rough translation.

As a kind soul, it’s easy to grow deep bonds with his type of character. A lot of people from the fandom have fallen in love with his character and his personality. I can’t blame them, for me at least he reminds me of my dad who I love dearly and acts as a role model to me and it’s nice to imagine a relationship with a person who reminds you of half of yourself. It’s easy to relate and such, which I find beautiful about his character. I could honestly swoon and gush about his character for days if I had the opportunity. People usually love Saeyoung the most (popularity polls) and find his character complex. Which it is, but I find V’s character even more fascinating. Sorry, Saeyoung, but V’s my favorite.

That basically concludes this, I hope I made sense to you guys, and what do you guys think? Is it a possibility for MC to live with V in the Route? What did you think on my character analysis? Do you agree or disagree? Anyways, I hope this at least made you guys entertained lol.

This post was meant to go up yesterday, but Tumblr ate it. I’m stubborn though, so here we are now.

I’m not vocal in the HTTYD fandom. I’m not vocal in many fandoms, actually. I’m always worried about backlash, so I keep quiet. I can’t do that this time, and maybe that’s enough to say how important this is to me.

I took the photos above yesterday morning. When I saw the Tweet… my heart dropped. Fans, please tell me we’re not bombarding this man for a release date for season five.

Now, asking the question once isn’t bad. Ask it once, accept the answer, say thanks. Good job! But, if one were to ask the same question over, and over, and over, and over again… Not cool.

On one hand, I get it. I get why we ask, why some would ask repeatedly. We’re excited! Season four was a roller coaster! The volcano exploded! What happens to the Edge? We want to know! I understand that. I understand the excitement and wanting to know what happens next. I want to know what happens next.

On the other hand, I’ve been on the receiving side of this. In the past, I had a job where I had to answer people’s questions, concerns, etc. I was pretty good at it, actually. But there were some people who asked the same question over, and over, and over, and over again. It’s tiring. It’s so tiring to get that one question so repeatedly, when it’s already been answered somewhere else. It’s frustrating and draining, and eventually led to me resigning from the position, because I couldn’t handle it.

Most people ask nicely. They’re happy! They’re eager to know more! That’s great! Others…don’t. They get impatient or word it rudely. Part of me thinks it’s because they think whomever they’re asking won’t see it.

We see it.

To clarify, I don’t have details on what happened on Twitter. I don’t know how long this has been going on, I don’t know how many people are asking him “When will RTTE season five come out?” I don’t know. I just happened to see the tweet, and the tweet was enough information for me to come out of my hole and say something, because if he takes the time to write that tweet, after nearly six months since the previous season came out, it means he’s being flooded with The Question.

I’m not sure what’s going to happen. Maybe after some fans see his tweet above, they’ll accept the answer and give him some peace. Maybe some will keep asking. If you ask, I beg you, send in your question once, have it written respectfully, and accept whatever answer you get.

And maybe some of us can start theorizing the release date and its announcement more. I know @tarched has been doing that, and honestly, it’s really fun to watch. It’s fun to watch, it’s fun to think about, it keeps everyone excited without spamming any creators, and I think that’s great.

Normally, I let things slide off, but having been on the side John Tellegen has been on, I felt the need to voice how stressful being on that side can be. I don’t know how this post is going be received. For all I know, I either helped or I’m going to accidentally offend someone. If I do hurt you in some way, I apologize. This post is meant to help bring awareness to someone in Tellegen’s position.

To those of you who stuck around to read this in full, thank you for taking the time to read this. Even if you don’t acknowledge this post, it means a lot to me that you read it.

That’s all, fellow dragon riders! Bye!
