and what was up with the end of this scene
'Riverdale' Star Lili Reinhart on Bughead's 'Passionate' Future and Filming Intimate Scenes With Cole Sprouse
ET sat down exclusively with star Lili Reinhart during this week's after-show episode of 'Sweetwater Secrets,' and she revealed things will be getting "really romantic" in Bughead's relationship.

But when we pointed out that distance also makes the heart grow fonder, the 21-year-old actress was quick to agree. “Totally! It totally does and it definitely makes them appreciate one another more when they’re kind of being pulled apart by going to different schools,” she spilled. “So when they do get to see each other it is really romantic and passionate.”

Riverdale is certainly taking their romantic scenes to a whole new level in season two! After that oh-so steamy Varchie shower scene in the season two premiere, we were curious to know how Reinhart feels as an actress when she has to film those more intimate moments with co-star Cole Sprouse.

“I feel like it’s very comfortable at this point. I mean, it’s The CW you’re not going to get too crazy. It’s just like kissing and hugging,” Reinhart said before adding that the Veronica and Archie shower scene was “definitely pretty spicy.”

“I think we’re all so comfortable with one another that it’s not even really a thing,” Reinhart said of her co-stars. “If we have a kissing scene, it’s fine. We don’t really think twice about it. When new characters have to kiss, it’s a little different and you’re like, ‘Oh, OK! What this?’”

“But it’s easy, we’re all friends,” the blonde beauty continued. “It would be more nerve-wracking if you had to make out with someone that you didn’t know. So if by chance we do end up having to kiss each other, it’s fine and it doesn’t feel weird.”

Plus, there’s no denying that Reinhart and Sprouse have some seriously sweet on-screen chemistry. “We get along quite well,” Reinhart said coyly. “We’re doing good.”

xsilvermoonlightx  asked:

Where was bbrae confirmed in 2011 can you explain that please?

I was referring to the comics, specifically the run prior to the N52 reboot. Basically, this is their final scene together before the end of Teen Titans, so what I mean to say is, BBRae ended canon by 2011 (after all the messy break-ups and hook-ups, this is how it finalized), and when the N52 reboot happened, it was all scrapped.

Has been ever since, with the exception of some hints and flirtations perpetuated by DC to string fans along (all of which went nowhere).

Asuka’s synchronization rate was 2%? Even now, in that scene? What the… That doesn’t quite add up! Look at Shinji’s score, though. What a trooper!

Also, the scenes from here advanced the same. Gendo asked to be patched through to Shinji, and he told his son he did a good job. Ahh, Gendo…

I haven’t considered it much, really, but… End of Evangelion did kind of reveal that he wanted to be close to Shinji, but was afraid to try. A Hedgehog’s dilemma of his very own… Still, I’m not going to ever stop calling him a shitty father. ‘Cause he’s a pretty dang shitty father.

Later that night… I know what scene this is.

How curious. In the show, it was framed as Asuka groggily using the restroom, then accidentally laying down in Shinji’s bed by mistake.

But this time… This time, she’s wide awake and doing this on purpose. That’s… very interesting…

So after a conversation with @charr-salad and seeing her inktober of Mel I ended up drowning in Heart of Thorns feels again oops

A while back it was discussed that Briar and Mel would be separated from each other in the chaos that was the Pact Fleet’s failed assault. Briar would then have spent days trying to track Mel down, helping other soldiers on the way, but continuing on to look for her, trying to travel mostly at night but still risking heat exhaustion. I’ve had this scene in my mind ever since it was suggested briar finally find Mel as she’s being attacked by a vinetooth. It’s not perfect, barely more than scribbles, and it’s really only from Briar’s point of view, but i just had to get it all down on paper as it were. Maybe someday i’ll get to refine it XD

EDIT: Also here’s the track that helped to inspire this
Riverdale: Everyone Is Useless Except Betty – The Queue – Medium
Season 2, Episode 2
By Lily Herman

J and V?

What is this Veronica and Jughead chat? It reminds me of that episode of How I Met Your Mother episode where Marshall and Robin go out to dinner to prove that they are really friends despite never hanging out one-on-one together. Veronica and Jughead kinda like complimentary colors on opposite sides of the color wheel. Now I’m just praying they don’t end up dating during season four of this show because you know that’s coming.

Riverdale Review 02X02 !!

Is it just me or did it feel like we had to wait a long ass time for the second episode 😂😂. I think it’s cause last ep was left on a Cliff hanger so ep 2 felt like a thousand years away but whatever 😂😂. This is my whole summary of the episode .

. Archie has a gun now… 🙃👁 I know this circus will only end badly cause he almost beat up reggie (who was stupid to arrive in a ski mask btw like…the fuck) so I have a terrible feeling the idiot is gonna ‘accidently’ shoot someone and get arrested or something 😂😂 it’s madness…BUT if it means his gonna protect himself ok then.

. Betty is a straight B.O.S.S 😎😎 seeing as Cheryl was on some stupid shit to her last season. Betty decided that she ain’t gonna b a pushover anymore and said what’s up 😂😂 loved that scene!

. Speaking of…why was Cheryl wearing a sexy bra and panties under her school clothes like….where is she even going 😂😂 I’m not complaint but 😍 chill lmao.

. Hermione was one of my fav parents next to Fred last season cause she seemed the less crazy and problematic but I found out that is not the case…Hiram makes her so fucking stupid and don’t see sense I’m GLAD Fred didn’t stay with her. She’s a a bitch and deffo on my shit list…

. I’m happy hiram is trying to build bridges with Veronica again…but then he continues to lie to her and it’s just….I dunno. He just seems so fricking shady. I’m glad Veronica has her gang cause if I was her I would go crazy in that mad house.

. New Reggie is AMAZING!! 😍😫 he is exactly ! Like the new comic book reggie with his hair, looks, aura and every glorious fuck boi about him is amazing (don’t get me wrong I love and miss old Reggie) but this is suits the part like a glove…I bet all those losers that said 'not my reggie’ look so fucking stupid rn 😂😂

. Also WHY DID THEY KILL KEVIN EX?! Like why?? I loved him! I mean we saw him in the pilot so he was the real OG…poor Kevin. He was a really good guy….it’s gonna f him up big time

. Also WHERE TF WAS VALERIE PLEASE?!?! 'Stomach virus?!’ By do the writers hate her so much that she is now not featured in episodes ?! 😫😫😫😫 I’m done.

. Alice needs to get up off her high horse about the serpents cause she was one and (theory) I think she is salty cause fp did something to break her heart or something that’s why she is acting all high and mighty but it needs to stop 😂😂😂😂🙃🙃

Overall! And ok episode I HOPE! Non of the pussycats are next or the main cast (especially Reggie cause he was the one who is a drug dealer so I hope that don’t make him a target 😫😫😫😫) and finally (even though knowing my luck it would b near the end of the season) I WANT TO SEE PAST ALICE AND FP PLS 😂😂😂 and the new serpents! Like come on!! Lol.

Catching up on Elementary: rewatch: s1, ep23

Irene the sexy art thief flirting with Sherlock in London sure is a fascinating scene.

I’m so happy I’m watching this now, knowing what I know. When I first watched this, I think I was rather annoyed about this whole “let’s make Irene a broken bird for Sherlock to mourn and rage over.” Thankfully I watched the finale rather quickly, so I wasn’t annoyed for long.

This, like the reveal/twist at the end of Person of Interest’s first season, is absolutely exquisite … and not something you can TELL anyone about to convince them to watch the show if they’re considering it. It’s as wonderful as it is frustrating.

This incident occurred shortly after school was let out this afternoon.

The vice principal was coordinating traffic when all of the sudden he heard students screaming his name in front of a pizzeria down the street from the high school.

He ran over to this scene, an officer throwing down and striking two teenaged twin sisters. Naturally, he told the officers “I’m a vice principal at the high school, these are my students. What’s going on here?” to which he was told “Mind your fucking business and back up, we’re not on school grounds.”

He repeatedly pleaded with the offending officer to stop assaulting these two girls, and tell him what the problem was. At this point the officer pushed him away from the scene and punched him in the face before arresting him, as well as both girls. He was later released without being charged, the girls were released as well but I’m not sure if they ended up receiving any charges.

that’s all the setup for this video.

Please, share this with everyone you can. This was totally uncalled for and needs to be seen by as many as possible.

Cop throws and assaults 16 year old girls, then punches and arrests their high school vice principal for questioning officer and trying to stop the violence.

This is going to go viral

There was a serious lack of Bones in St:ID. Please have some Jim wandering off AMA and having to be retrieved  in the ONE YEAR POST DEATH THAT THE FILM GLOSSED OVER. (I’m having some very random st:id feels rn)

You worked with Tupac Shakur a few years after that on Gridlock’d.What was your impression of him?

Tim Roth: I adored him. I initially didn’t want him for the role – it just shows my white ignorance. I was just this pasty-faced London boy who didn’t know who he was, despite the fact that he’d gone double platinum by that point, I think. But what happened was, I was attached to the project and we had another actor who was interested in the role, then backed out at the last minute. So we suddenly found ourselves without a second lead. Tupac’s name came up – “He’s a rapper, he’s a really interesting guy and he’s really up for doing this” – and I just said, “Can you get me an actual actor, for fuck’s sake? Please?” I had no idea he was an actor before he was a musician, that he’d gone to the Fame school in Baltimore, none of that.

While this was going on and they were looking for someone else, I got nominated for Rob Roy. And during one of those silly party things you have to go to while it’s Oscar season, Quincy Jones came up to me and said, “Hey, Tupac, you should really give him a chance.” And it’s like, Aw, fuck, okay. Quincy is vouching for him. Let’s set up a meeting.

So the director Vonde [Curtis-Hall] and I are sitting in this restaurant I used to go to, waiting to meet him, and in comes a security team. sweeps the place and then they go out. Then a group of women enter; they go and sit at this table in the corner. And then in comes ‘Pac, who sits down, politely says, “Hi, how are you?” At which point, he proceeded to totally lay out the character. He had it down. And I’m just thinking, This guy is fucking amazing! I want to work with this guy! What do we need to do to get him in the movie? Meanwhile, Vonde is sitting there with a Cheshire Cat grin on his face, just going “I told you so…”.

I had two issues with him. One was the fact that he was writing, he was directing and starring in music videos and recording an album. He’d show up on set exhausted, and I just told him, I need you for five weeks. Let’s make this together, concentrate on this and then you can back to doing the other things. Which he did, and he was really cool about it.

The other thing was guns. We were sitting on the back of a truck, waiting to do a scene in Downtown L.A., and I said to him, “What’s with all the guns, why is there all this drama, what have you got yourself into?” And he very calmly explained to me the world he was living in at that moment, then said, “I think there’s a bullet out there with my name on it, man.” He and I were supposed to hang out the day after he ended up getting shot; we were really excited because he was coming back to L.A. and I really missed him a lot. The joke was that he had to re-record some dialogue for the film, and since I’d already been in the Death Row Studios with him and we’d recorded stuff, it was like, “Okay, 'Pac, you’re in my territory now!” And then, you know, we got the word he was in the hospital, and then a few days after that, he had died. I still miss him.

so a traveling shakespeare troupe came to my school today and performed romeo and juliet and it was just so good and

-the actor playing romeo was hella short and the actor playing benvolio was hella tall. at several points he just picked romeo up and moved him around the stage/out of his way.

-when the nurse delivered juliet’s letter they played it up like she was flirting with mercutio but mercutio just looked at her, wrapped his arm around benvolio, and more or less gave her an expression that said “i’m gay”

-when mercutio and benvolio were making fun of romeo for being Heterosexual™ (aka for loving juliet), benvolio picked him up and mercutio gave him a purple nurple

-juliet wore no shoes throughout the entire show except during the wedding when she wore these giant sparkly pink pumps with platform heels

-when mercutio gave the queen mab speech they had benvolio stand behind him and click castanets and go “ooooooooh” every time he dropped a dramatic line

-they had friar lawerance and the nurse say the prologue and the end lines and like…..that changed the impact of the lines and their character significantly. i’ve made a post or two about this before but i personally interpret romeo and juliet as a story about two kids too afraid to come to their parents with a problem because they’re afraid of repercussions. but what about the adults in their life that DID try to help with them with their problems, but still ended up failing them? let’s just say it hit hard and was very telling when the friar and the nurse choked out the last lines of the play while sobbing.

-whenever there was a fight scene, mercutio and benvolio were constantly trying to keep romeo away from the action, as if he was their younger brother who they didn’t want to get hurt in a brawl. during mercutio’s fight with tybalt, benvolio was shielding romeo with his body and physically picked him up and held him back at times. that really changed the dynamic of the three of them and made it even funnier when ben and merc were teasing romeo about his crush on juliet.

-romeo killed paris by hitting him on the head with a flashlight

-the apothecary that sold romeo poison was dressed up as your typical TV drug dealer and he acted like one as well

-while benvolio more or less disappears from the written play after romeo is banished, they kept him around this time and he followed romeo around to make sure he was okay but didn’t say anything. it was implied he didn’t talk because he was still grieving mercutio. (he also wasn’t there when romeo killed himself)

-i was watching it with a bunch of freshmen who hadn’t read the play before but when juliet killed herself nearly half the room started screaming because they were so shocked

honestly this cast was just so good. i’ve also seen them perform julius caesar set in a modern politician’s world and m*cbeth in a post-apocalyptic setting. i absolutely loved this production and i hope i can see more of their work soon

Anyone out there bashing the idea of Keith being autistic in canon esp when autistic people see themselves in him and he stims in the vlog like…why does the idea of Keith being autistic bother you so much you feel the need to type up a post about how it isn’t really canon?

Just because Keith doesn’t walk around telling everyone he’s autistic doesn’t mean he isn’t. You can watch the show and see some traits that commonly come with being autistic.

Actually I’ll outline them right now why not

1. Attention to detail and organization skills

  • His “conspiracy board” is really just an organized way of laying the information he was gathering out so he could see it all together. Might be a visual learner.

  • Recognized that the lines on Hunk’s chart matched the nearby mountains exactly

  • Didn’t understand what Lance was trying to tell him with his gestures in Return to the Balmera but looked around and figured out what Lance was thinking by looking at the layout of the cave.

2. Social cues

  • Not understanding the team cheer, and going back and analyzing it trying to figure it out but it still not clicking. Him being frustrated over this is very relatable.

  • The whole Lance advice scene, Keith really has trouble picking up on Lance’s cues. Or just doesn’t know what to do with them. In the end Keith’s face screamed nailed it and lance leaves like ): and it’s hilarious but I’ll save that for another post

  • While he’s awkward with people, he views himself as way worse at it than he actually is. It’s hard to tell how good you’re doing when you have a hard time picking up on it in the first place. Sometimes it feels like you’re stumbling around in the dark.

3. Thinking literally

  • Thinking in pretty literal terms. When they are trying to form Voltron in Some Assembly Required Keith suggests they “literally form voltron” by stacking the lions on top of eachother.

I could pull out more but I think you get my point by now. All of this isn’t a miraculous coincidence.

Even if a character doesn’t show “signs” of autism, who are you to tell autistic people they can’t have an autistic hero?

When do we ever get a badass autistic hero? Heroes that aren’t looked down on for it or made autism the sole aspect of their “personality” or character arcs?? Especially in a show for kids??? I’ve never seen a character I saw myself in as much as I see myself in Keith. Him being autistic really isn’t a long shot, you guys claim to love rep.. so where’s the love?

To anyone out there trying to “disprove” that Keith is autistic: I urge you to really reflect on why you’re trying to disprove it in the first place.

Lighting in The Last Jedi trailer and that scene we are all talking about.

Like many of you that last bit of the trailer had me screaming at the tv. After the initial freak out phase had passed, I began to slowly shift into the what if phase, meaning– are they baiting me? Now there are several theories out there about who Kylo is holding his hand out too. Some say its Leia and not Rey. What if I told you the proof is in the shot itself?

I am about to give you a quick lesson in lighting, visual storytelling, and cinematography.

Let’s go back to The Force Awakens as a reference guide. The lighting on Starkiller base bridge you know that scene where he kills his dad?

Lighting was something they made sure to get right in this scene. Notice how Kylo’s face is half hidden in shadow and the other in light. Signifying his split.

JJ says this  “ And you see the light go away. And now they’re in this darkness. And darkness takes over.”

The play with light was even more apparent when Kylo and Rey face off against the edge of the cliff.

Now I’m about to throw some cited literary sources about Film and Lighting just so it’s importance is established.

“In visual storytelling, few elements are as effective and as powerful as light and color. They have the ability to reach the viewers at a purely emotional gut level”(Brown, 2012, p. 8).

Light becomes mood that gives its tone to a film. It calls upon our memory to react to physical phenomena such as cold, rain, fog, sun, or dryness, and come up with psychological equivalents such as annoyance, sadness, mystery, fear, anguish, comfort, joy, gaiety, etc. As these effects produce immediate impressions in viewers, the cinematographer is able to obtain psychological reactions out of mere technical means (Geuens, 2000, p. 153).

Architecture and Film both use perceptual psychology to get people to see spaces in a certain way. Architecture lighting designers skillfully illuminate buildings and rooms with psychological intentions.

Lighting designers think about a psychological response and how behavior is affected by lighting. Some examples are:

1. Visibility of vertical and horizontal junctions aids orientation.

2. People follow the brightest path.

3. Brightness can focus attention.

4. Facing wall luminance is a preference.

5. Lighting can affect body position (Ginthner, accessed April, 2013 p.2).

Just as lighting designers light spaces to stimulate human mood and behavior, Cinematographers light the space inside a movie frame with the intent to persuade a viewer’s perception. The way objects are lit in the frame will focus the viewer’s attention, the amount of shadows cast will limit perception, and changing lights can indicate a change in a character or opportunity (Brown, 2012).

However, unlike film, architecture has had a psychological study on how different light in a physical space effect human arousal, concentration, memory, work productivity, and Mood.

If you take any type of filmmaking class, this is one of the first things you learn. Nothing is a mistake in these films everything is as designed to serve a purpose.

So let’s dive into the scene in question.

First of all, let us talk about how these two shots are framed. They are close up only showing the faces of our characters.

Close up shots typically contain just the face and shoulders of a subject, with a little headroom above. This prevents ‘floating head syndrome’ as the shoulders suggest to the brain that there is a body below! These shots are the most common of all as they can convey a real sense of emotion and help the audience to connect with the subject.

Second, let’s talk about the choice of lighting

They are both in a warm fiery glow.

You can judge the quality of light in a film scene through the hardness or softness of its shadows. Hard quality light has dark shadows with sharp edges and often feels more raw than soft quality light. Soft lighting, often used in older films, has lighter, diffused shadows and tends to feel more sentimental.

And with advances in film technology, sharp shadows can also be quite romantic. Case in point, this still from the end of the 2005 version of Pride and Prejudice:

Third, let’s talk color

Color temperature is one of the first things to note when studying the lighting in a romantic scene. Is it orange? Bluish? White? Most often, warm colors add to an inviting, romantic atmosphere. For example, the warm light in the sunset scene in Titanic draws the audience in, unlike the cold, blue lighting later in the movie, after things get dire.

Forth let’s talk context

This is not the same scene with Kylo. Rey is still wearing her resistance clothing. This is the beginning of the film.

The context matters especially in this scene where Rey is talking about needing someone to show her where she belongs. Is this romantic? The answer is, no. Is it intimate? Yes. The scene can be set up this way without any romantic implications. But it is definitely meant to be intimate. Rey is vulnerable at this moment and is speaking from her heart to Luke. Please show me what to do with myself.

Now let’s move to Kylo’s scene which is no doubt at the end of the movie (because his scar is healed.)

Our big bad villain is bathed in nearly the exact same lighting and color as Rey’s shot, even the framing is the same. In no other shot ever has Kylo Ren been depicted in these colors. Not in the teaser and not in TFA. Kylo is always in red or dark. The context of this shot is very very important. He is reaching out palm up as to take someone’s hand. He does this slow and gentle. His face is soft with what I would say a plea.

Yes, this is a call back to Darth Vader asking Luke to join him on the Darkside in Empire Strikes Back. But if you go back and watch that scene it is intimately framed (remember context matters), but the colors are pale. Lukes’ face is in agony. Vader extends his hand it’s rigid and forced.

Before I get into more examples, I want to point out that yes trailers are meant to give you an idea, and intrigue you but they are also meant to misdirect.

Trailer Misdirects/Visual Storytelling and Dialogue

The misdirect of this scene is to make you believe Rey might join the dark side with Kylo or at least first glance. General Audience viewers casual fans who do not give it any second deep thought will accept this and move on. However, more dedicated fans will step in and try to dissect the scene by looking at the image and not the overall meaning behind everything we discussed above. The trailer isn’t designed to give anything away. Which leads me to say this is very smart editing on Rian’s behalf. While it doesn’t give us the answer of will, she or won’t she? It provides us with the question that we will inevitably discuss in length until the movie is released.

I would also like to point out there is a visual storytelling aspect of this trailer when it comes to the dialogue.

One example of this not related to the scene in question comes from Poe Dameron.  He states “We have the spark that will ignite the fire to bring the First Order down.” The next scene we get is Finn. It is pretty clear that bit of dialogue was meant for Finn. He will no doubt help bring the FO down as other Stormtroopers defect as he did. Finn is that spark for the rebellion. Now let’s talk about the Rey/Kylo scene. The same thing happens here. Her dialogue coincides with the next shot of Kylo. Also, notice (scroll up if you need to) how their faces are opposite each other Rey is looking slightly to our left while Kylo is looking slightly to the right. Their positions are mirrored which is a recurring theme in the TFA (see the snow fight). This is beautiful visual storytelling. TFA was full of the same imagery lighting and storytelling. I have a post about it HERE

I went through and found scenes that mimic that of what we saw in the trailer, down to color, lighting, and frame.  I also chose male and female characters. Guess what, all of them were romantic.

I chose this because of the flares in the background and the close-up framing of their faces. Notice yes the color is blue because they are parting (remember CONTEXT).

Next, we have a scene from Pride and Prejudice, but beyond the romance aspect, I want you to watch the light change of this scene. Elizabeth is bathed in blue until she accepts Darcy, taking his hand. The sunlight beams between them warming the scene.  Skip to 3:10

Here is an oldie but a goody. I chose this due to the color. Now remember this film is old, lighting techniques have come a long way since the 1930s, but their choice of color is important, along with the shadows on their faces.

Ah, Jon and Dany. This is very romantic (even tho its incest lol) But take a look at the lighting between them also this part is (NSFW) if you are gonna watch till the end. You were warned.

And now for the grand finale TFA cliff scene. Oh, I chose this little diddy to drive home a point. Kylo and Reys’ faces are framed intimately (which signified they would have a more profound connection later and at that moment they were finding the Force together) But also notice their faces are bathed in mostly pale colors due to it being cold. Yes, the lightsabers flicker red and blue onto them. Yes, that holds meaning as well, the fight between the dark and the light. But the overall pallet is pale frigid colors. Also, the context -- there’s that word again– of this scene is they are enemies fighting. Kylo does want to teach her, but he’s aggressive and forceful, to say the least. It is a stark contrast to what we see in TLJ trailer. Where he is calm relaxed and in warm, inviting lighting. No aggressive posture, no forceful plea.

If you want to contrast another couple, please refer to Pride and Prejudice again. I can’t upload it here, but this is the link. This is where Darcy says he loves Elizabeth, but she rejects him. They have close-ups, but the color and lighting are not intimate. Its pale lighter and blue. All things that are associated with sadness rejection etc. You get the point.

So in conclusion. It is my opinion based on all information gathered on cinematography, that yes the relationship between Kylo Ren or perhaps Ben Solo at this point has drastically changed. It is no longer one of animosity or hate. Judging by the warm colors, and the soft shadows and above all else the context of the gesture/posture/facial expression of Ben it is romantic or at the very least (for the skeptics) a special relationship– Remember Rey and Ben are similar in Force power according to Luke- this gives them a bridge to each other one that will take them to understanding and COMPASSION. I am not saying they kiss, I am not saying they are a couple at the end of this movie. I am saying that it’s possible that it will move in this direction. They no longer hate each other. How did we get to this point? Well, we have a whole Act 1 and 2 to get through for that answer.

I will stress that I believe that yes Ben/Kylo is holding his hand out to Rey. And no, it is not out of malice or deception. He is not asking her to join him on the Darkside… He is asking her to go with him and for acceptance.

I made a follow-up post to this because this was so long! Please click here to see more examples and extra information

Obi-Wan as a cat Jedi. Specifically a talking, lightsaber-wielding cat species, with the physical capabilities of Puss in Boots - can swordfight, wear clothes, walk upright, speaks fluent basic. Generally underestimated due to his size, but it doesn't make him any less the Negotiator or Anakin's Master. Also, like every cat, he's not too fond of water, and there's plenty of cat body language such as rubbing your head against someone you like etc. Everyone else is still their original species.

Trying not to smile, Qui-Gon pointedly ignored the light rubbing by his elbow as he continued reading the newsfeed they had missed since they had been gone from the temple, his lips twitching when the rubbing became more insistent until a furry little head popped between his side and his elbow, quickly followed by the body that belonged to the head.

“Obi-Wan.” Qui-Gon chuckled quietly while trying to sound scolding, lifting his arm only for the feline to quickly take advantage, laying himself out over Qui-Gon’s thigh to rest his head on his master’s thigh. “Little one I was reading.”

“Then you’re sitting still and I can lay here.” His padawan countered smartly, settling with the sun shining down on him.

Weak for those large green eyes, Qui-Gon only sighed then reached in and scratched the soft ears carefully, smiling when instant purring filled the air. “Oh fine, you can stay there little one.” He teased quietly only to receive a happy meow in return.

Setting the pad aside, he focused on his ginger tabby of an apprentice, knowing how important social interactions were for Obi-Wan’s species, using his fingers at the others ears while rubbing along his spine, feeling the light arches of the slender body resting on him.

Not many of Obi-Wan’s species became Jedi, mostly because parents were reluctant to give up their kits to the temple, option to have them Force trained on the planet. Obi-Wan’s parents however had given up theirs, citing it a great honor as Jedi are peace keepers of the galaxy.

Or so the report Qui-Gon had read about his padawan cited.

Servalos kept their own council and did not share it with the Jedi, but Qui-Gon was grateful for his pawed and furry padawan who brought light into his world. So he wasn’t going to dig for information he was not welcome to.

“…Come on, lets go to the gardens, the sun is better there.” He chuckled quietly, sliding his arm beneath his padawan and standing with him them, moving towards the doors. “You can see if you can’t hunt a bird.”

Warm laughter filled their quarters.

Qui-Gon is dead.

Qui-Gon is dead and his silka beads mean nothing anymore to Obi-Wan because Qui-Gon, his pridemate and friend is dead.

His pridemate is dead.

“I didn’t know cats could cry.” Obi-Wan looked up at the voice, staring at Anakin, the boy from Tatooine as he stood in the doorway of the room the Queen had given him. The one he had promised to train, regardless what the council said about it.

Obi-Wan pushed of the bed and wiped his face with a paw. “I’m a Servalo. I’m not just a cat. My species were space flying at the same time humans were.” He whispered, his voice coming in low and rough from tears he had tried not to shed.

He can tell the boy is curious. Curious, frightened and sad.

Sad for Qui-Gon.

Curious about Obi-Wan.

Frightened of the future.

Obi-Wan stared at him then slowly walked over to him. “Did anyone help you find food?” He questioned, taking Anakin by the hand when the other shook his head. “I figured, they’re all so busy. I’ll find you some.”

“I didn’t think you liked me…” Anakin whispered while following the feline.

“I don’t know you enough to not like you Anakin. But you’re not a bad kid. And you’re a growing boy and growing boys should be feed.” Obi-Wan offered in return, unknowingly setting a firmer foundation for a close bond.

Anakin held tightly onto the paw and followed the feline.

“…How long has he been doing that?” Ponds whispered as the two Commanders stared at their respective Jedi.

“About an hour now. General Kenobi went up to him complaining about being wet and General Windu just picked him up.”

They continued to stare as Kenobi continued resting on Windu’s lap, soundly purring as his back was rubbed steadily by a broad hand, the Korun absently reading the battle field report with one hand as he continued the steady rubbing.

“To be fair, the first five minutes the General was kind of…smoking. I think General Windu dried him off with the Force or something.” Cody shrugged.

They continued watching as apparently finally the feline had enough and sat up, stretching his body gracefully before standing up and giving Mace cheek a small nose nuzzle, grateful for both the petting and the drying.

Cody was grateful for his helmet and he had a feeling so was Ponds as their jaw dropped.

“…Well he is a feline?” He tried meekly.

“No one is going to fucking believe us.” Ponds hissed.

Of course no one outside of clones and Jedi were going to believe them either when they all saw Obi-Wan furry little body make an orange streak as he threw himself at a magnaguard, toppled it, promptly decapitated the two beside it and then landed with enough force down to shatter the metal that made its head.

The magnaguard even had an odd sort of death flail before it went still as the Jedi continued forward without a backward glance, already moving on to the rest of the droid army. Cody swore as he tried to keep up with the streak of orange and beige.

‘Let no one call him any less of a Jedi for being a feline.’ He was almost amused. Almost.

“…Obi-Wan come on.” The blond tried a coaxing tone as his former master continued stretching out in the sun, his head resting on the ground with his limbs spread out to soak up as much of the rays as possible. “You need to take a look at this please.”

“…Carry me.” Obi-Wan demanded.

“Carry me. I’m not moving Anakin.” The feline huffed.

“I swear old man.” Anakin grunted but obediently moved over to the spot of sun and bent down, picking up the other Jedi under the pits. “I’m tempted to shake you.” He said as he lifted the other to eye level.

And promptly snorted when Obi-Wan licked his nose with a lazy look in his eyes.

“No you’re not.”

“No I’m not.” Anakin agreed, sighing at the others smug tone before he returned to the holo display, ignoring everyone else as he set Obi-Wan down on the projector, the others tail flickering as he took in the plan for tomorrow with a deep rooted purr.

I love the theories, but can we take a step back and appreciate for a moment?

Who Killed Markiplier? is absolutely amazing. There was clearly so much work and passion poured into it.

Mark’s acting abilities are really impressing me though. Don’t get me wrong, I didn’t doubt he could do it, I’m still amazed though. We all knew he could do the Colonel, and Jim… Damien’s character is so intense sometimes though. He conveys a lot of these really deep emotions and Mark pulls it off so well! You know it got to you when he left you at the top of the stairs with that, “you too.”

Everyone’s acting in this is phenomenal though. I love all of the characters for what they are, and how they interact with each other. I love the story, the crazy hints, all of the possible misdirects and all of the crazy jokes.

When he dropped that Jumanji reference in the third chapter, I had to pause the video because I was laughing too hard to see or hear it anymore. I laughed for way longer than I’m willing to admit before I could even finish the video.

We’re not even to the end yet and I’m already hoping so hard that there’s going to be Behind the Scenes, and maybe even Bloopers. We could all use some Jim Bloopers in our lives, couldn’t we? Also is it just me or is Jim a little inspired by West of Loathing’s stupid walking? XD

At the end of all this… whether that’s tomorrow, or who knows when…no matter what theory is right, or if they’re all wrong and he has some big trick up his sleeve, it’s all been amazing. Thank you to all of the theorists and crazy fans for pouring over those videos and giving me all the hints I couldn’t get on my own. He was right… it’s never been about the poker, or about him or his death, it was always about us. ;) I already know I’m going to love however this ends.

I doubt they’ll see it… but if someone from Teamiplier or anyone who worked on the videos does see this, thank you. Thank you for the amazing videos, the great set up, and this chance to just be a crazy theorist with this awesome community.

I hope they’re proud, because I for one am proud of them.

Favorite movie quote: Tears in Rain monologue in Blade Runner (1982)

“I scratched all the dialogue and I kept two lines that seemed to make sense because they were related to a few things in the script. And then I was just looking for one line that would kind of, in a tiny nutshell…you would feel what Roy feels – which of course is impossible. It didn’t come from me, it came from the poet in me. And there was a poet in Roy which doesn’t make sense but there was, right, in the program.”

“For the end line I was hoping to come up with one line where Roy, because he understands he has very little time, expresses one bit of the DNA of life that he’s felt. How much he liked it. Only one life“
