and what was up with the end of this scene

Fuck I have such a bad feeling that Malec is going to break up :(

Matt said an emotional scene would happen, and Todd tweeted about shit being heart breaking!

Idc if someone saw them outside hugging, that could be a goodbye hug.

Ive read the stupid books I know what eventually comes.

They could just do the heartbreak differently and I am not up for that…

Im tempted to not watch shadowhunters until it ends, and just read a bunch of spoilers before I watch it.

So I know everyone thinks the shooter in the last episode came or of nowhere but there's a ton of foreshadowing for it. I picked up on things when I turned subtitles on, in the scene where BBA is looking in the mirror and feels her neck she is listening to the news and it's about a shooter who shot up a mall nearby but got away. the police never found him. And there's also OA's premonition where she describes being in a room with clattering sounds in the background plausibly the cafeteria

Yep, rewatching the buildup to the shooting they definitely put in some foreshadowing! Also at the end of OAs premonition you can hear what sounds like a gunshot, and it definitely takes place in the cafeteria

Hurting~Jack Maynard

A/N: Sorry for the angst oopsie

I sat in the park, gripping my legs, trying to get a hold on reality. My knuckles had turned white, and my face was red from sobbing. The tears kept coming, the rage building up and tearing itself down. I didn’t know what to do, how to feel. The scene kept flashing in my head over and over.

I had gone a business trip for work, but the seminar I had gone to ended earlier than expected. With this news, I had decided to surprise my boyfriend, Jack. I grabbed a taxi and went to the store where I picked up ingredients for Jack’s favorite meal. I ordered an Uber and balanced my suitcase, carry on, and groceries. The driver helped me put my stuff in and asked, “Why go grocery shopping before or after taking a trip?”

“Surprising my boyfriend,” I told him. He smiled and nodded, clearly impressed.

“Lucky chap.” That rang in my ear like a siren call. That line made me feel sick. I wanted to turn and puke right into the garbage can next to me, but nothing came up. I just continued to stare at the concrete, fixated. I had no energy to move.

I exited the Uber, taking everything in hand. I walked into the familiar lobby and nodded towards the security. I pushed the button to the elevator to go to my home. I stepped in, went up, and walked towards our apartment. But, once I stepped into that apartment I’ve stepped into a million times, something felt off. Something felt out of place and cold. It didn’t feel like home anymore. That’s when I heard it. The squeaking. The moaning. My organs sank to my feet, my jaw dropped. Everything fell from my hands. The pipes in my eyes burst. I felt like I froze, but I felt my legs swiftly move to the bedroom. I opened it to find my boyfriend, my everything, my home, on top of another woman. Ramming himself in some bimbo.

I felt poison fill my mouth, my nose, my eyes, and my mind. I ran out, feeling numb. Jack was calling after me, but I didn’t hear it. Everything was muddled. I began to run once I made it outside. I ran as fast and as far as I could, which led me to the park I was at. It led me to this bench where I was contemplating my entire life. I began to look at all the decisions I made. I revisited my memories with Jack since day 1. My friend’s words swam through my head at a rapid pace. “You don’t meet your soulmate in a club, (Y/N),” she told me. “It just doesn’t happen like that.” I remember just rolling my eyes and telling her she was wrong.

I felt like a fool. I felt like an idiot. I trusted him with my most valuable possessions: my emotions. He knew I was hurt and broken from those in the past, but decided to do this. I refused to blame myself, but it didn’t stop the thoughts from coming in. “What could I have done differently?”

“How could I have made him happier?”

“What was wrong with me?”

I then gathered the strength to get up and go back. I felt like an empty vessel. I had no energy. I walked back to the apartment to grab my things. I opened the door and saw Jack sitting on the couch, head in his hands. He was clearly crying, and I didn’t understand. He’s the one who hurt me. How does he have the right to be upset? “Why are you crying?” I asked him. He looked up and smiled. “(Y/N)!” he exclaimed like I was a present he had opened on Christmas. “I’m so happy you’re back. Listen, I am so sorry I did this and I-” I put my finger up to signal him to be silent. He obliged, and I just stared at him. “I’m here to grab my things,” I told him. “I’ll be staying with a friend for the mean time while I plan to go back home.”

“(Y/N), I’m-”

“No, Jack. Stop. I’m done. You cheated. You didn’t just accidentally flirt with some girl while you were drunk, or just maybe kissed her. You downright, flat out cheated. You deliberately put your vile dick in her. You hurt me so deeply to the point of no return. So no fighting. No debating this. I’m done. It’s over. You fucked up and you need to reflect on your life choices.”

I went to his room, grabbed the belongings that weren’t tied to him in any way, packed them up, and left. I only turned my back to look him in the eyes as I placed my set of keys on the table next to the door.

“Goodbye, Jack.”

“Goodbye, (Y/N).”

What do you make of the fact that Dee and Dennis always team up for anything that's formally competitive? I was rewatching the S5 mortgage episode and at the end in the pool chicken fight the two of them are together too, not just for Chardee McDennis

I love that chicken fight scene!  I think Dee and Dennis team up together primarily because they are both ruthless and will do anything to win.  Also, I think each privately regards the other as the most competent member of the Gang to work with.

A Gintama chapter a day keeps the ending away...Lesson 48

This is my New Years resolution for 2017: to re-read a chapter of Gintama every day starting from the beginning and sum it up thusly…

Favorite Scenes from Lesson 48:

I just love the random mention of Sakamoto by Tae-chan and Oriyou to remind us of what a perv he is.

Even though the situation didn’t really call for it, AT ALL, I still like seeing Tae-chan kick ass.

I loved how sincere Kagura looked, despite the fact that the combination of Nabeyaki and Haagen Dazs Bargain Dash literally made me want to vomit.

I also like to see the aftermath of Tae-chan’s ass-kicking sessions.

Shinpachi’s non-expression gives me the giggles.

Ships Tally:

GinKagu (Howwww does she know how his feet tastes like, I ask you?? Don’t blame me for going there: I just follow the road to hell Sorachi-sama paves for me)

Disclaimer: Gintama is not only about shipping. Gintama is hilarious, clever, exciting, poignant, heart-breaking, loving, brilliant, and just so darn amazing.  It is only due to Sorachi-sama’s generosity that I can enjoy Gintama on yet another level, the shippy level, so I am truly grateful for that. GINTAMA IS LIFE AND LOVE.

Hi I'm sorry if you've gotten messages like this before but I just read through Papyrus Dates a Bird and it was literally so, so incredible... I was wondering if it's on indefinite hiatus, or if you're planning to continue it at some point? If you're not I completely understand! Even what's there of PDaB made me super happy, and gosh, I really fell in love with the story, and I'm glad that you wrote that much at all!

I’m so glad you liked it! At the very, very least, I want to finish Papyrus Dates a Bird, because it’s so close to the ending and the ending was the very first scene I came up with for the story, so it has a pretty special place in my heart. The fact that it’s only had very, very small adjustments made to it as the story progressed should tell you how proud I am of how the story ends. School has just been… pretty busy and exhausting.

Thank you for liking my work! (And sorry for the late reply, haha…)

Time in the Freshman universe is constantly the same! It is always 8:21 no matter what…with the exception of the kappa house where it’s 10:34! Notable scenes are: when Gabriela has her baby, when Kaitlyn drinks too much and end up in hospital, when you go to thwombly’s office for a job, when Vasquez goes to hospital and when James calls you into his office to give MC her character bio!

the worst thing about bad cgi movies is that each one has to cram in a forced tearjerker scene ala every pixar movie ever without the rest of the movie having any hint of character or sentimentality, so you know something like boss baby or the emoji movie is going to have this weird out of place scene where the characters lose sight of their goals or end up hurting each other and they walk slowly to sad music before realizing something about themselves or about what they need to do to make things better, except instead of it being genuinely charming characters you relate to, its alec baldwin the dreamworks baby whose bare ass you’ve been forced to look at for at least 20 minutes prior

i made my self a little sad when i was trying to look into the scene by the Ocean.

why did victor look so angsty? is he thinking of his future with yuri? yurio stop being rude to your dad 8(. what does yurio mean that “Victor nikiforov is dead”? is this a subtle hint to how russia would react to their engagement?  is he and mackachin saying goodbye to Russia at the end credits? VICTOR WHY ARE YOU ANGSTY???????????????????????

ANYWAYS. a quick doodle to cheer me (and a bunch of people) up.

For those who watch @markiplier, you know what video I’m talking about ;D I honestly couldn’t stop laughing and I ended up replaying that scene about 7 times. I originally was going to do a little comic of it but I didn’t have the time so I just made a quick summary of the video in just one picture :,D

For those who don’t know ->
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxMPYgM6Jz8&t=414s it’s at 5:03

Friendly reminder that

this scene happened.

Some people still claim that Victor wants to return to competitive figure skating and I just wanted to remind all of us of this scene from episode 2 because this alone is a good indication of Victor’s intentions.

When Yakov tells him to stay, Victor only smiles

A defiant, but nostalgic smile.

But what happens next is crucial.

Yakov tells Victor in no unclear terms that leaving now means the end of his career.

And what does Victor do?

Yes, dasvidaniya - goodbye. Victor kisses Yakov, his career, his entire life in Saint Petersburg goodbye.

Victor had already made up his mind. He left knowing that he may not be able to come back. He knew the consequences of his decision and didn’t even hesitate.

He really doesn’t care anymore.

To Victor, his career is already a thing of the past.

He moved on in order to find a new path in life.

That path being Yuuri, in more ways than one.

If the anime ever clearly showed that Victor isn’t returning to his competitive career, then it did so here, as explicitly as it was possible.

I went to see Rogue One again (because I have no self control) and I live in Texas where about sixty percent of the population is Hispanic, so a father brought his entire family of four boys and two girls, all ranging between twelve and five to see the movie. The boys were all freaking out because of course its Star Wars, and they loved Cassian, talking about how cool he was and they loved Jyn (especially during her badass scene versus some Stormtroopers) but the greatest part was at the very end when they revealed Princess Leia. I wasn’t expecting it but all of the boys all at once jumped up and went “OMG! THERE SHE IS! IT”S PRINCESS LEIA!!! SHE”S HERE TO SAVE US!!!!”

These boys had been so excited to see Darth Vader, Cassian, and other characters but they lost their minds because Princess Leia was here to save the universe. That is what Carrie Fisher’s legacy is.

What I’m going to pretend is the end of Gilmore Girls

It’s Luke and Lorelai’s wedding reception, everyone is laughing, Luke and Emily dance. And Jess shows up and tells Rory she looks beautiful and congratulates her about writing the book. Then he says he knows a couple of people in New York who can help her once she is ready to publish it. They smile at each other. He takes her out to dance, mirroring the scene of Luke and Lorelai dancing at Liz’ wedding.

Fast forward to a year or two later, Rory comes back home from her book tour, it’s a best seller, there’s even talk about a movie. Luke is super proud, he has copies of the book everywhere and a whole shelf on the diner. Andrew wants to have a book signing, everyone wants to name a street after the Gilmores. Emily is running the spa alongside Michel and surprisingly getting along with Lorelai better than ever.

Rory and Jess have been dating. Lorelai sees how much he’s changed and they get along so well. Most importantly, he makes Rory happy. No games. No lies.

After saying hi to everyone in town, Rory and Lorelai go back home to hang out alone. They’re sitting outside, coffee mugs in hand, looking to their lives. Their house, their porch, the chuppah, the Jeep…

And then

“Mom”

“Yeah?”

“I’m pregnant”

and it’s funny and sad, but only because this life will end, and it’s this secret world that exists right there in public, unnoticed, that no one else knows about. it’s sort of like how they say that other dimensions exist all around us, but we don’t have the ability to perceive them. that’s what i want out of a relationship. or just life, i guess.

what Yuri really meant?

I just watched ep11 and can I just say something?

I don’t think Yuri wants to break up with Victor, why?

let’s leave all the negative emotions throughout the episode aside and focus on the last scene and preview

when he told victor that he wants to end it which could mean many things besides ending a relationship. In fact to break up is a whole different word which is ‘wakare’ and Yuri said ‘Owari ni shio’

what I think is that Yuri meant is either

a. Them being a coach and student but they’d still be together. Maybe Yuri saw the way Victor watched the others skate and felt like Victor wanted to go back to skating? because just look at Victor’s face while he watched them skate! and Yuri probably can understand what Victor feels by now. So, when Yuri said it’s the final event, he meant the final show as them being a coach and student

b. this is a wild guess (but kubo sensei is full of surprises) and maybe Yuri meant coming out as a couple? because look at what he said in the preview

now (if you watched too many animes or jdramas like you had no life like me) this would sound like something one of the couple saying before stepping into a more positive step in their relationship

ps. Victor’s face does not show a shocked expression of someone who was asked to break up but rather is surprised by the request. so It could be both theories

also

idk if I am looking too much into this but the curtains and light are a symbol to opening up to a better future.

I highly doubt the show would end with a break up, kubo had recommended watching the last episode after credits. so I am sure she has a great surprise for us

edit: after coming to more realization, I remembered there is a duet version of stay close to me on the ost so maybe it is for them to skate to on the last episode and they decide to be a pair skating team instead of coach and athlete?

another edit: seems like pair skating for pairs of the same gender is not allowed but I still think that the after credit scene Kubo recommended us to watch is them pair skating to stay close to me. so maybe after GPF is finished and late at night they go in there alone and skate to it?

  • Dean: *ends up being such a needy bottom*
Let’s take some time to analyze this small bit from the episode 10 preview

Not sure if it’s been done already. You guys are hella fast when it comes to analyzing scenes holy wow.

So at the end of the preview for episode 10, we see Yuri and Viktor standing/sitting/whatever face to face, right? Okay, so what I noticed, is that Yuri, at first, is staring down.

Then he blinks and looks up at Viktor. In my opinion, his facial expression makes it look as if he’s surprised. Not in a shocked way, but more like in a shy way, if that makes sense?

He’s blushing harder than we’ve ever seen him blush, too.

Then we see Viktor. Viktor has a really gentle and adoring expression on his face. He, just like Yuri, is also looking down, and still looking down by the time Yuri has focused his own eyes on Viktor’s face.

So what I’m thinking, is that Viktor gave Yuri something. A present, perhaps. Because in the voiceover, Viktor was talking about Christmas presents. Yuri’s birthday is also coming up. So maybe a Christmas present or birthday present.

Looking at their faces, this isn’t just an ordinary present. It’s not some fancy piece of clothing, it’s not katsudon, and it sure as heck is not a pair of socks or an ugly Christmas sweater. I’m thinking it’s something much more intimate. Like a ring.

Or maybe it’s not just a simple Christmas or Birthday present. Maybe it’s a love confession. But if it were, then what could the two be staring down at? Maybe Viktor is holding Yuri’s hands while confessing?

Still, the movements and body language are rather giving me the idea that Viktor is slipping a ring around Yuri’s finger. Realistically, this seems a bit early to be an actual marriage proposal. I mean, it’s totally possible! But despite the whole proposal talk in ep. 9, I’m not sure if their relationship is already at the point where a marriage proposal is the obvious next step. I wouldn’t mind those two getting married already tho lel

Maybe it’s a love confession where Viktor gives Yuri a ring or something as a token of their relationship/love? Not quite like an engagement ring. but more like a ‘this ring will show everyone that we belong to one another’ kinda ring?

Or maybe they’re just talking about a touchy subject and Viktor is too shy/embarassed to look at Yuri, but Yuri feels brave enough to look up at Viktor. Viktor hasen’t ever really shown his vulnerable side towards Yuri, not in the anime at least. So this makes sense imo. Maybe all this is just me doing some good old wishful thinking.

But whatever is happening in that preview, we know it’s gonna be good anyway. I mean c’mon, that body language, THOSE FACIAL EXPRESSIONS.

I can’t wait ‘till next week.

Viktor Nikiforov in Yuri!!! on Ice Episode 9

I’ve said my fair share of thoughts and rants about Yuuri in Episode 9 in this post, but then I started thinking…

What about Viktor? He only showed up in the beginning and at the end, but while Yuuri was struggling in the Rostelecom Cup, Viktor must’ve had his struggles, as well, back in Japan.

At the end of Episode 8 and in the beginning of Episode 9, these are the faces Viktor made.

And then at the end of Episode 9, this is the face he made when he finally saw Yuuri arriving.

Maybe it’s just me, but Viktor seems exhausted in this scene. His pose when sitting may also suggest that he’d been there, waiting for quite some times.

Even though we didn’t get to see what he was doing after going back to Japan, it is a matter of fact that Viktor was dealing with the following problems:

  • He was worried sick about his dog
  • He actually didn’t want to leave Yuuri alone in Russia and was extremely worried about him

And while it wasn’t shown or mentioned in this episode, judging from his expression upon seeing Yuuri arriving, we could safely assume that Viktor must have watched how the free skate went.

He immediately offered a hug without saying a word, because Viktor must have seen the following

…and still despite all these, Yuuri showed his love.

Makkachin was saved, which means that’s one problem down. But it was after this problem had been solved that Viktor was finally faced with his concerns regarding Yuuri.

Seeing how the free skate went, it must’ve made him think how he should proceed from now on, what he could do as Yuuri’s coach, how he could support Yuuri. He was probably thinking about all of these while waiting at the airport and planned to tell Yuuri once he arrived.

But then before he could say anything, Yuuri already went ahead of him

*) Several people have pointed out that Yuuri was actually saying something like “Please take care of me until I retire”

Viktor most likely had been feeling anxious all the while, but Yuuri’s words blew it all away at once.

I don’t know what Viktor was thinking of telling Yuuri, but Yuuri’s determination here was the reason why his exhausted, worried face in the end changed into

To me, this isn’t just a face of happiness, but also relief.

Upon hearing the decision Yuuri has made, Viktor was finally able to make up his mind and came to a conclusion, as well:

…that he wants to stay by Yuuri’s side and never leave him.
