  • Nobby: Have you ever experienced such a match? Being so dominant?
  • Erik: I don't think so, I mean I've only been here for 3 1/2 - 4 years and I haven't experienced something like it in that way. We were clearly the dominant team, we created many chances, even top-class ones, but yeah, sometimes the ball just doesn't want to get in. Sometimes there are matches like that. Nevertheless we have created a lot of chances, which was very important for us, for the team, and like I said we'll turn things around at home.
  • Nobby: You played badly in Darmstadt and lost, you played excellently in Lisbon and lost. Which face will we see on Saturday?
  • Erik: Well, I hope the one we showed in Lisbon only this time we of course want to get 3 points, we want to win. It's important for us to continue our home run and yeah, we feel good. Of course Darmstadt was a slip-up. Unfortunately, sometimes there are such games where nothing works out and the opponents surpass themselves and that was the case in Darmstadt. But it's still our own fault as well. But I think in Lisbon we showed a reaction and I think we'll be at the top of our game against Wolfsburg. We had 4 days to take a break and...
  • Nobby: And the spirit/mood/morale is good?
  • Erik: Well, yeah after Darmstadt we all were dejected, Lisbon as well, but looking at how we played I think we can look forward to Saturday with confidence.
  • Nobby: That's what you have to keep in mind and if you play like that on Saturday we won't lose.

  • Nobby: You're up against Wolfsburg. You usually say you don't look at how the opponent is doing. But we should and have to do that: they have won 2 of their last 4 games and lost the other 2. How do you rate/judge the team at the moment?
  • Erik: It's difficult to say something about Wolfsburg. They definitely have improved during the second half of the season, they have played good games, sometimes it's a bit of a surprise/lucky bag but to be honest, I haven't watched a lot of Wolfsburg matches. I'd rather focus on our team so I think if we follow through like we want to and if we play like on Tuesday against Lisbon we will win and we don't have to talk a lot about the others, just about us and then things will work out.
  • Nobby: Erik, you're free of injuries, you're a regular in the starting XI. Apart from the two losses how much do you enjoy your current situation?
  • Erik: Of course I enjoy it a lot. It's important for every player to be free of injuries and get playing time. I get that at the moment so I'm very happy but as I said my health is currently still my main focus.
  • Nobby: (touches Erik's knee) Is everything alright?
  • Erik: Yes, everything's ok. (both laugh) And yeah our manager is satisfied with our current performance as well and of course I'm always very self-critical. Especially after Darmstadt I was very self-critical and wasn't satisfied with myself but nevertheless I'm fit, I'm healthy and I'm happy about every minute I get.
  • Nobby: Currently, you're playing in midfield as a winger. You played the same position in the U23. Do you feel comfortable there?
  • Erik: Well, the midfield postion is mainly an offensive part, I'm still also playing in the back five in the defense. We always shift around a bit which works pretty well. Obviously, Schmelle and I always have to run a lot but I think we both know how to do that. That's why this position fits us well and yeah, being involved at the front is always fun...
  • Nobby: You were a striker originally, weren't you?
  • Erik: I was originally playing as a 9 so not that much on the wings but-

  • Erik: One can hardly imagine, yeah. (both laugh) I had some inhibitions when I played for the Dortmund amateurs, didn't quite work out with scoring but after that I've become a defender pretty quickly, thanks to Kloppo, but it's still a lot of fun to be able to make a difference in the offense.

  • Erik: Yes definitely! I mean, the atmosphere here in our stadium is always awesome. The süd being behind us is quite impressive. Especially when we play at home they encourage us and spur us on immensely. Yeah... it's such a shame that the Süd won't be there on Saturday.

You sat on your couch your whole body feeling numb and your eyes staring right ahead at nothing in particular. 

You were slumped down and not able to compose yourself as you tried to not cry again. 

Y/b/f paced the living room in anger. You believed her, it couldn’t be her but how did they get to know everything about you and Sebastian? It just was so confusing and everything got screwed.

She tapped different buttons on her phone harshly and tried to stay calm but that didn’t really work. 

Suddenly there was a ring at the door and she immediately went to open it. 

As the door opened your mother walked in laying eyes on you and rushing over to pull you in for a hug. 

You told her everything that had happened since you went into that little café to get something to eat. 

You looked to the ground feeling ashamed for not even once calling your mother. 

She held you close to her and once you were done talking she pulled away and looked at you and held your face in both of her hands. She looked deep into your eyes for a moment before beginning to speak. 

“You love that boy , don’t you” she urged making your best friend and you look at her in confusion.

You put your hands over hers still resting on your cheeks. 

“Yes” you slurred not trusting your voice any further, closing your eyes to hold the tears back.

“Then you have to fight for him.” She stated calmly. She leaned down to look at you as she spoke softly. “We fight for what we love, honey what would love be if we wouldn’t have to fight for it, my dear. 

You would feel it and it would be there but it wouldn’t be special and it wouldn’t mean anything.”

The tears brimming in your eyes fell onto your cheeks and you smiled at her sadly.

“Your love for that boy is so strong (y/n)

All of you went down and into the car riding to a very familiar place.

“What are we…” You looked around only to see smugly smiling faces.

“No… No I won’t go in there… Forget it.”

“You said you were going to fight. Stop being so whiney and get your ass up there! (Y/n)(y/m/n)(y/l/n)!” She said angrily

You stared at your mother in shock for a moment just like your friend “not exactly what I would’ve said but YEAH get your ass up there (y/n).“ 

You and your mother stared at each other for another moment before you closed your eyes and took a deep breath, pushing the door open and stepping out of the car. You stood facing the big hotel Sebastian lives in. 

You took steps forward cautious and slow, not really sure if you want to go in or not. 

You faced the big letters over the door as if they were any danger and about to attack you, your stomach turned and each step felt like a kick in the guts.

You felt dizzy but finally decided you wouldn’t go back now.

Your steps became a little faster and you stepped into the hotel, quietly rounding a corner and slipping through the door to the stairway. 

You walked up the steps taking deep breaths to calm yourself that didn’t work.

“Y/n” someone asked.

You jumped at the sudden sound, not expecting it. You looked up to come face to face with Chris.

“What are you doing here” he asked in concern and confusion.

“I wa… I need to talk to Sebastian I didn’t tell anyone about us, I really didn’t.” You pleaded hoping he would believe you.

He grabbed your arm and dragged you up the stairs, knocking at Sebastian’s door and going in “wait a second” he told you before he disappeared.

Seconds later he came back out and told you Sebastian was okay with you going in.

You felt a little bit relieved and happy about the fact that he still wanted to see you. 

You walked in with a smile which quickly faded as you saw the angry expression on Sebastian’s face.

“What do you want here ?!” He snapped.

You were taken aback and immediately stopped in your tracks.

“I am here to tell you that I never told anyone about us besides my best friend.”

You stated softly but with a new urgency in your voice, standing in the middle of his room.

He scoffed, almost laughing at your statement making you angry.

“Do you really think I did that?” You raised your voice.

“I think this is some game you play, making me fall in love with you just to tell everyone and make yourself look important. How many did you have before me huh?” He shouted with black anger growling in his eyes.

You felt the tears brimming and had to hold onto the little table next to you.

“What?” You whispered softly.

“Yeah how many (y/n) ? Is it fun being the most important person in the media because you laid another celebrity?”

Your anger rose up now and you looked at him the same way he looked at you, with hateful blackness in your eyes.

“You are such an asshole, do you really think I’m a slut like that and just used you for my own good?!” You yelled at him angrily.

“That’s exactly what I think.” He yelled back.

“Surprise for you Sebastian you are not the most important person in the world and I’ve got better stuff to do than to put up with your shit.” You snapped.

“What shit y/n, I have to deal with your shit now do you know ho much struggle I have now?”

“I don’t want to put on with your shitty self anymore Sebastian, you are so selfish, do you think I liked having to look like a fucking Michelin man when I just walk next to you. Everything we ever talked about was you ! You don’t even know how anyone feels because your just thinking about yourself. Don’t try to fool me, you never really loved me and I know that” You yelled at him, not getting the anger away.

“Good for you you don’t have to put up with it anymore, we are gonna make it look like you are some crazy fan who stalked me ! There was never anything and there won’t be anything ever again!“he yelled looking at you angrily.

You looked at him shocked and confused, taken aback, hurt, as you took a step back with a blank expression.

The tears brimming again but this time you gave your everything to hold them back.

” don’t you think it’s sad that you a think so low of me ?“ You asked softly with a cracking voice.

“You think I did all this and that I do that with every celebrity? You don’t even know how much that hurts.“ 

You stated looking directly into Sebastian’s eyes seeing them soften a bit.

"You will never know how much that hurts because everything you care about is you and that won’t ever change Sebastian. It is just sad that I loved you more and that I wasted my love for you, and that I am not able to stop it." 

You watched him look at you in confusion as your eyes stayed on his the whole time. 

"I wish I never would’ve met you.” You croaked And that’s when you saw him loosing it, his own tears threatened to spill but you just took a step back “goodbye Sebastian.”

You said coldly and turned around walking out of the room and out of the hotel, letting your tears fall.

Spain might have gotten blackout drunk at the Christmas party.

Well, no, he definitely got blackout drunk. But he wasn’t sure exactly what he did. That’s what happened when he got blackout drunk, he supposed. Either way, there was a very large gap in his memory.

Gaps are all fine and good, but England was acting… like he did.

“Don’t talk to me,” he said, eyes hard.

He moved his seat next to America. England hated America, so Spain must have really fucked up.

But he had to try.


“Are you really talking to me?” England shuffled his papers, shoulders stiff. “Because you really have some fucking nerve, if that’s what you’re doing. If you’re talking to me.”

hey, beautiful moonbird. i know that yesterday was pretty brutal, and i know that for a lot of people today isn’t going to be much better. sometimes the world is like you looked under your bed and found a tin of rotted, moldy christmas cookies that your grandma gave you no less than five years ago and there’s a whole ecosystem in it.

on those days you’re like, “wow!!!!! i don’t want these cookies at all!!!!! there’s nothing good about these cookies and i hate them!!!!!” and i get that. that’s normal. the thing to try to remember is that the cookies were made with love, and the tin is washable. we can make new cookies to put in the tin. i’ll make them with you. they’ll be rainbow colored.

anyway, here’s a brief story about a time that i had to emergency land with my brother in an airplane.

so before i moved in with my mom, my brother and i would shuttle back and forth from my dad’s house in massachusetts to my mom’s in virginia. we’d fly as unaccompanied minors, which, if you don’t know, is the absolute best way to fly and if i could convincingly play a 10-year-old i’d do it every time. as an unaccompanied minor you are the most important person on the plane, which suited both my constant need for attention and inability to complete very simple tasks without firm guidance. sometimes the captain comes out to talk to you and gives you a sweet pin with wings on it. you get to board before everybody else, which is probably the feature i miss most about no longer being young and vulnerable.

my brother and i are very different people, by the way. i can be best described as “a corgi that is always furious when you aren’t feeding or petting it,” and he’s more of, like, a lizard that wants to be left alone and wishes people would never look at or notice it.

  • “the way you talk about your brother did not prepare me for him being hot,” is something a friend said to me once, which, first of all, that’s a Wrong And Bad thing to say, but also probably very fair considering i just called him a lizard.
  • i just mean, you know. temperamentally.

on these plane rides i would always get out of my seat as soon as we were allowed to and wander up and down the aisles, talking to people. i truly believed that everyone wanted to talk to me, The Cool Kid With The Wings Pin. in hindsight, i am very sure that everyone one of those gentle souls wanted to be left alone to read their john grisham novel, but they were all sweet to me regardless.

all of this is basically to tell you that once, my brother and i were flying from my dad’s to my mom’s–or maybe from my mom’s back to my dad’s?–when the plane, like, malfunctioned. now, i was a wee little butterball so nobody on the plane thought to sit down and explain to me exactly what was wrong, but i remember that the plane started to shake really badly.

the pilot did that Calm Voice Of Authority thing that pilots and headmasters do where he said, “we’re going to have to emergency land at a different airport*, everybody stay chill,” in the same tone of voice you’d ask someone to pass you the salt. 

  • *for some reason, i think the different airport was in connecticut?

my brother, who was born a 90-year-old stand up citizen with the tax code memorized, immediately began to try to comfort me. but i was just a Smol Bean who had not yet been touched by death and didn’t understand the concept of mortality, so i fully Did Not understand why he was being so nice.

  • “it’s okay, molly. we’re going to land and they’ll fix the plane and it’ll all be fine.”
  • “yeah, i know, that’s what the pilot just said.”
  • “there’s nothing to be afraid of.”
  • “of course there isn’t, nothing bad has ever happened to me and nothing bad will ever happen to me because i’m Me and that’s not how the world works.”
  • “we’re going to make it home tonight.”
  • “UNLESS we get to stay at a HOTEL by OURSELVES!!!”
  • “no, that’s–that’s not…..okay.”

i remember that i kept trying to unbuckle my seatbelt so i could get a better look at the window, and my poor brother had to very patiently hold my hands away from the buckle to be like, “FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE PLEASE LISTEN TO THE FIGURES OF AUTHORITY AND DON’T UNDO IT. DO NOT.”

as the plane started to descend, the shaking ratcheted up. like, we went from rocking chair to shake weight in the span of a minute. at this point, all the passengers on the plane are freaking out. everyone was doing that Terrified Adult thing where they were pretending not to be scared by loudly talking to one another about the thing they were scared about.

  • “haha! this plane sure is rattling, isn’t it, nancy?”
  • “it sure is todd!!!!! it’s like we’re in a trashbin rolling down stairs to our deaths!!!”
  • “haha nancy!!!!!!”
  • “haha todd!!!!”

meanwhile, Smol Bean Mozzy thought she was on a terribly fun rollercoaster in the sky and was completely unperturbed by what may have been very real danger. my poor brother,  however, was swept into the hysteria of the woman between me and the window, an older woman. i kind of think she was wearing a really horribly colored shawl, but i can’t #confirm that because i was very young and who knows where the hell that lady is these days.

“the truth is, if we really go down, there’s very little chance of surviving this close to the front of the plane,” she told my brother, almost preternaturally calm. i think she had accepted that death was probably coming. “they tell you to put your seat back up but with where we’re sitting we’ll be the first to go.” 

“um,” said my brother.

  • i want to say up front that we were not crash landing. nobody worry. we were emergency landing for a reason i forget, but very probably it wasn’t actually a life-or-death situation except that every tiny mishap on an airplane FEELS like a life-or-death situation because you are in an airplane.
  • but don’t worry.
  • we were fine.

“we could try getting into crash position,” the old lady suggested, bending in her seat and putting her head between her knees. 

good to know at least SOMEONE is listening to the safety announcements, eh, flight attendants of the world?

“you and your sister should do this too,” she told my brother. “like i said, it probably won’t help, but you never know.”

“oh…..kay,” said my brother, who was young enough to assume that adults were always right but old enough to feel like he was getting some weird advice. 

he got into impact position and made me do it, too. i mean, i was pretty much that gif of elmo on the toilet at this point, fully unaware of the gravity of the situation.

  • “TRALALA I LOVE FLYING AND MILKSHAKES!” - me, while hurtling toward the earth

“these crash landing instructions are probably just to comfort us,” said the Old Woman Ready For Death, blandly. “like putting t-shirts on dogs during thunderstorms. i’ve never understood that, have you?”

“do you think we can get ROOM SERVICE in the hotel room we’re gonna have all to OURSELVES?” i asked, my voice muffled from being between my knees.

“I DON’T KNOW HOW TO ANSWER ANY OF THESE QUESTIONS,” said my brother, distressed and folded in half like an airborne soft taco.

for those of you wondering, we didn’t get our own hotel room. we stopped for like two hours, reboarded, and flew home, where i explained lividly to my father that we didn’t even get FREE FOOD and my poor brother had a quiet meltdown in the backseat, which actually sums up both our personalities back then pretty well.

anyway, for a while after that my brother was NOT a big fan of flying. i never really understood why, because all my memories were of being treated like the Queen of England as an unaccompanied minor, but having just told this story, in hindsight……… seems……….pretty obvious.

"So, Michael, we have a surprise for you", the interviewer announced and your heart felt like it was going to explode. "For me?", he questioned, raising an eyebrow. "Yes, we flew someone here to see you". "You didn't", he smiled widely, your name being the first thing to come to his mind. "Yes we did", the interviewer smiled, "And here she is". You stepped into the small stage and Michael instantly stood up, turning around and running towards you, enveloping you in his arms. He lifted you off the ground, spinning you around, your head buried on his chest. "I missed you so much", he whispered in your ear, putting you down. "I missed you too", you whispered back so only you and him could hear it, "And I'm ready". "Ready?", he asked confused in a hushed tone. "To do it", you explained in his ear. His eyes widened just as much as his smile and he pressed his lips on yours: "I love you".

It turns out Calum was the special person you were waiting for - you both just didn't know it yet.

  • He jumps off the bed and rushes toward Robin taking her in his arms and kissing her. When they break apart there's laughter and tears and they're terrified but really happy at the same time
  • Barney and Robin are on an orphanage, there are kids running everywhere, they are starting to regret their decision and are about to leave when a little girl stops them, she looks about seven and her black hair is tied back with a red ribbon, an employee comes running after her

  • M: Miss, Mister, do you think I'm too young to know if I like girls?
  • Barney and Robin smile in surprise at her question and the employee looks mortified
  • E: I'm sorry, she's always like this, out of control
  • R: It's okay
  • M: Are you gonna answer?
  • E: Mae!
  • Barney laughs
  • B: I think that's something you always know
  • M: See?!
  • The little girl looks victorious but the employee eyes her angrily
  • E: Let's go, that's enough for the day
  • M: You need to get over yourself
  • Barney bursts into laughter then and Robin slaps his arm but she's holding back one of her own
  • E: I apologize, she watches too much TV, hockey games made her agressive
  • That sentence makes Robin freeze and Barney looks over at her smiling in utter amusement
  • B: So you like hockey?
  • M: Yes, and the news, actually aren't you Robin Scherbatsky?
  • Barney pokes Robin's ribs and she comes back to the real world
  • R: Yeah, I mean, yes, I am

  • Mae rolls her eyes and Robin laughs

  • They say it at the same time

  • He's starting to get out of the car but Robin holds his arm to keep him in place

  • Robin gives Barney a quick kiss and they get out of the car and walk toward the house, their second pair of wedding rings gleam under the sunlight

We’re glitzy, we’re flashy, we’re “a hyper competitive” subset of Irish culture. But really, I expected this from some bored and overly opinionated blogger, not from a professional journalist.

As an aspiring journalist myself, I must ask: where did Cahir O'Doherty get his information? Did he actually interview irish dancers while writing this piece or did he blindly search Google for a few hours until he’d had enough? I can guarantee you, if any real member of this community was able to explain to him half of his misconceptions about the sport, I repeat sport,this article would have been written very differently. I mean, I’m no pro, but that’s very basic journalism.

Moving on to the editors. Did any of you care to notice that all his information has gone uncited? Did you care to question what this “underground network” is called or where he got that magical $1K dress price (which, by the way, is off by a considerable amount, further proving my point)? What about quotes? Isn’t the best way of writing an opinion piece using the other side’s argument to prove why your side is more compelling? I, for one, regardless of my Muggle or non-Muggle status, most certainly am not compelled.

Mr. O'Doherty, do you possibly have kids that compete in some sport and have to deal with their anxiety while they train and compete? Better yet, were you an athlete when you were younger? If you were, did you put up with the anxiety because you loved your sport? Did you truly enjoy what you did, regardless of any stupid parts that came along with it? I know my brother hated the constant bad calls in soccer, and my sister could not stand the uniforms she had to wear for track. But hey, it’s part of the sport. You hate it that much, you can quit. 

See that’s why we’re angry. Your violent opinion bashes something we dedicate a great deal of time to and love to dedicate a great deal of time to. Sure the dresses, the wigs, and the makeup are ridiculous, but that is a valued part of our sport because we, unlike other athletes, are athletes and performers. We are a sport and an art form. The crazy attire, in our opinion, looks good on stage, and gets us in the zone for the long and tough competition days. You may not agree, but you’re also not a part of this community so you don’t quite understand either.

In addition, like many things, Irish dance undergoes transformations in competition and in style. You don’t see NBA players wearing those ridiculously short shorts they wore 30+ years ago. Why? Because styles have changed. Similarly, our dresses are far different from traditional dresses because that is how style has progressed. However, most dresses honor the tradition through Celtic design, even traditional Celtic stories, like the famed Academy storybook dresses.

In gymnastics, the tricks in all events have become more and more difficult as the years progress. 30 years ago, an Olympic gold medalist could barely do a full; now, one barely makes the team unless they can do a quad. As in gymnastics, Irish dance has evolved, with wilder tricks and more intricate routines. This evolution is not unique to our dance tradition and will continue to occur as the teaching side of Irish dance progresses to the next generation of retired dancers.

As for the money aspect of your argument, yes, it is very expensive to be an Irish dancer. Some of my best friends have quit because paying for it all is too much of a burden. However, you fail to recognize how this community provides for its members. Every single dress I have bought, custom-made, for $2000, has sold for at least $1800, if not full price. Hotels for competitions always have group rates to make staying there more affordable. Regions often organize stipends for world-qualifiers that need a little help getting the money to go. My school even has parents in the airline business that offer up some of their buddy passes to let dancers go to majors. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve had a friend stay in my room during a competition because it’s too expensive to have one themselves. 

The irish dance community is not the largest, but hell, we are strong and we are united. Most of us are not “impressionable young girls” because of the aspects of our sport O'Doherty disapproves of, and if being this driven is a wrong quality to have, I never want to be right. Irish dance is one of the best parts of my life, and has made me the person I am today. Because of Irish dance, I have learned dedication, I have travelled places my friends could never dream of, I have made friends from all over the world, and I understand the valuable of hard work and good sportsmanship. Our “I-need-to-be-seen-from-space” costumes may not reflect these qualities, but then again, Cahir, a brief Google-search can’t tell you all that. 

So no, Irish dancing has NOT lost its way, and yes, we do continue on changing for the good of our sport. And no “Muggle” has the right to disrespect our community the way that this article has done.

 ”Mia, wake up.” I heard a soft voice whisper as my shoulder was nudged. I groaned and pulled the cover higher onto my body. “No, you have to get up right now or I will throw cold water on you.” I knew exactly who it was now. 

  “Alright, I’m up.” I said, pushing the duvet off of me. I rubbed my hands over my face and sat up letting out a yawn. “Why am I up this early?” I asked Jack as I looked at my phone seeing it was nearly six in the morning. 

  “Because you, me, and the rest of the guys are going to Disneyland!” he exclaimed, making a smile appear on my face. “Hurry up and get dressed. I’ll be in my hotel room.” he said, leaving me to get dressed.

 I wasn’t the type of girl that liked to get dressed up fancy to just go to a carnival. I french braided my hair quickly and slid on my slightly dirty Vans. I slid my phone into the front pocket of shorts and walked out of my hotel room to Jack and Jack’s that was right next to mine. 

 Jack Gilinsky has been my best-friend since basically birth. Our mother’s were best-friends and that’s how we became friends. In kindergarten JJ joined our small “clique”. Now they’re both of my closest friends. 

  “Jacky-wacky,” I said, walking into their room without even knocking, “You know, you shouldn’t leave your door cracked open. Someone might walk in.” I smirked, walking up behind him and wrapping my arms around his waist. 

  “I wouldn’t want that to happen.” he said, looking over his shoulder to smirk at me. 

  “JUST DATE ALREADY.” Matt’s voice made me slightly jump and let go of Jack. He walked into their room and laid on the bed closest to him, pulling his phone. 

  “See, someone annoying walked in.” I whispered to Jack, nudging his side. 

 His adorable laugh rang through my ears making a smile appear on my lips. I heard the click of a camera and my head snapped over to Matt who had a cunning smile on his lips as he began typing something on his phone. 

 A few minutes later, my phone buzzed in my pocket and I pulled it out reading the tweet Matt had posted.

 I sent daggers at him and shoved my phone back into my pocket. I could feel the heat rising in my cheeks as I crossed my arms over my chest. 

 Thirty minutes later, all of the boys and I were loading into a large black van. 

  “I’M SO EXCITED. OH MY GOD!” I exclaimed, bouncing up and down in my window seat. 

 Jack sat next to me and the other JJ sat next to him. “You’re so cute when you’re excited.” Jack said, his eyes widening as he looked down at his lap. 

 Was that a compliment? He acted as if he didn’t mean to say it. 

  “OH.” Matt screamed, pointing at Jack. 

  “Stop.” I said sternly to Matt, swatting his finger away from him. I sent him ‘the look’ and he coward down in his seat, pulling out his phone. 

-at disney cause car rides are to boring to explain-

  “Can we get on the teacups(? i’ve never been to disneyland so i have no idea if they have those?)” I asked Jack, as we walked thrugh the gates to Disney Land. 

  “But, it’s embarrassing. I’m a man. I can’t be seen on the teacups.” he said making me frown. 

  “But Jackkkkk,” I pouted, poking my bottom lip out. 

  “Yeah, Jaccckkkk. Go ride the teacups with your girlfriend.” Taylor said, hitting Jack’s back. 

 At almost the same time, Jack and I sent Taylor a death glare. If looks could kill, “Please?” I said once again. 

  “Okay, fine.” he huffed out an exasperated sigh, but nonetheless a small smile spread out on his pink plump lips. 

So for the rest of the day, that’s how everything went. We literally went on almost every ride in Disney Land. My favorite was the Indiana Jones Adventure. Mostly because Jack kept getting scared at things that popped out and it was completely adorable. He swears that he wasn’t scared at all, but I know he was. 

  “You guys wanna stay for the firework show? It’s in like thirty minutes.” Nash suggested making us all nod our heads rapidly. 

 I may be slightly tired, but I would never miss the experience of the firework show. Everyone says it’s a beautiful sight, but I’d like to see for myself. 

 I stood beside Cam, absentmindedly playing with the end of my braid as I stared at the cement ground.

  “Are you gonna do it?” My eyebrows perked up once I heard JJ’s voice. Who’s doing what?

  “Yeah, I’m gonna do it.” Jack’s voice was the one I recognized next.

  “About time.” Matt.

  “Shut up.” Jack mumbled under his breath but I could still hear.

 What’s he going to do? About time? For what?

  “Oh, they’re about to start the firework show.” Cam said, making me come out of my thoughts.

 I glanced behind me to Jack and seen he was already staring at me. “What are you staring at, weirdo?” I smirked, turning around to go stand next to me.

  “I don’t know. I’m still trying to figure it out.” He smirked, making me scoff.

  “Wow, are you five?” I said, making him send me a playful glare.

  “Shut up.” he answered as a firework going off made me divert my attention to in front of us.

 Pink fireworks went off, then blue, then green. They literally had every single color in the world. I felt a pair of arms wrap around my neck loosely and I immediately knew it was Jack. 

 I relaxed into his touch and placed my hand on his arm. “It’s so beautiful.” I said amazed at the sight in front of me. 

  “Yeah, it is.” he said in a low whisper. “Mia, can I ask you something?” Jack asked, making me turn my head to look at him. 

  “Yeah.” I responded, my eyes looking into his. Our faces were inches apart. I could feel his hot breath on my lips. 

 He let go of me and I turned to face him, “Mia,” he started, racking a hand through his hair nervously, “I’m just going to flat out say it. I’ve liked you for a really, really, long time. I get it if you don’t feel the same wa-” I cut him off id-sentence and crashed my lips onto his. 

  “WOOO, GET IT JACK!” All of the boys began cheering and at the same time, my phone buzzed in my pocket. 

 I pulled it out and seen it was a tweet from Matt. 

 ”@TheMattEspinosa: congrats #mack is real”

Landing in Hawaii, Grace was first to get out of the airport. She didn’t even grab her bags. Chester walked a few steps behind her, carrying extra baggage. “Where are we staying?” Grace asked. “I don’t remember what it’s called but it’s not far from here” said Chester. Grace realized she had left her bag with him. “Oh, sorry. I can carry that” she said reaching out for the bag. Chester moved away from her. “I got it. Have you not seen the muscles on me?” he asked posing. Grace laughed and let him carry the bags.

Mistakes, part 7. (Neymar imagine)

His p.o.v

If i ever thought i had felt pain before, i was wrong. Nothing hurts as much as remembering how it is to kiss her, to touch her and to hold her, and not being able to do it again. Hell it even felt amazing when she called me ‘babe’, even though i know she didn’t mean to call me that. You’d think that her kissing me would make me happy, but i feel miserable. I realize it’s because i know she regrets it. No matter how much she wants me, she won’t give in to me, and that hurts. She feels like a drug. You can’t give a heroine addict who is recovering 10% of what he usually would get, because you know his desire for more will slowly kill him.
I just put Davi in bed, and hugged him a little longer knowing he’s the reason she is still in my life. I need to get her back, i think when i get into my own bed. I need to win her back, and make her mine again, and i will do anything to make it happen. I drift off into a sleep, with dreams about her.

She was the last thing i thought of when i fell asleep, and the first thing i thought about when i woke up. I’m in way too deep. I watch as Davi eats his cereal, and go in instagram. I’m pleasantly surpised when i see pictures of her and Davi ice skating yesterday. I rub my temples and try to think of an excuse to go to her. Instead i text her, but as soon as i press send i regret it.

Her p.o.v

I got sick the moment i stepped into my house. It’s been almost 3 years since i was ill, and it feels like hell. I blow my nose in a kleenex and pull my blanket back to cover me. It’s 57 degrees in my house and i’m still cold. I sneeze and feel my eyes water. This has got to be the worst day ever. I wonder what my friends would think if they saw me like this. They’re used to my perfect make up face, and my prefect outfits and hair. When i think about it like this, i  realize that i don’t really have any real friends. In the show business everyone pretends to be your friend, and you feel like you’re really popular. But at times like these you realize how lonely you are. My only real friend was Neymar, but now i don’t even have him. I could call David or Oscar but they are somewhere far away from me, and busy with their own lives. I get startled when i hear some weird sounds from the kitchen. Is there a robber in my house? I stand up cautiously, with the blanket wrapped around me and go take a look. I freeze when i feel wetness down at my feet, and i see how there’s water coming out of the dishwasher. The washing machines are in the basement of my apartment building, so the dishwasher is literally the only thing that would ruin my house if it broke down. And it did.
'OH GIVE ME A FREAKING BREAK!’ I yell throwing away my blanket. Now i have to call someone to fix this mess and who knows how long it may take? When i pick up my phone to call someone i see that i have a text. Somehow i just know it’s him. I open it.

We need to talk.

I sigh and delete the message.
'No we don’t.’ I say aloud, before calling a plumber. 
About 4 hours later i’m checking in to a hotel, close to my house. The plumber said it would take at least three days to fix my dishwasher and fix the water damage. The people who lived below me came to yell at me and were suprised when they saw a famous person had been living above them. Irritared i give my credit card to the guy at the lobby, and he takes it cautiously. 
'How many nights?’ He asks, and i sigh.
'I have no idea, at least a week.’ Now that people know where i live i have to find a new house, on top of my new movie being filmed and all the problems with Neymar i feel like exploding. I feel like killing him for bringing me all this trouble. 
'Alright, if you don’t check out i’ll keep your room reserved for you.’ He smiles at me and nod.
'You’ve got room 203, which has a nice view on the skyline of London. It’s on the 6th floor, the last room on the right.’ I thank him, and walk towards the elevator with the guy who carries my bags and my two trolleys. I take one from him, and by the time i arrive in my room i’m sweating and puffing. I organize my clothes in the closet, and put my toiletries in the bathroom. After that i’m exhausted, so after i take a shower i collapse on the kingsized bed. I get a text from my agency, telling me that everything had to be stopped at the set today because i cancelled last. Which m minute. Which means i have no choice than to go tomorrow. I groan and set my alarm before drifting off into a restless sleep.

I don’t know how late it is when i hear someone banging on the door. I think it’s a dream, and turn around pulling my covers with me. But the banging continues, and i stand up, irritated and mad. I’m ready to slap the person who’s responsible for disturbing my sleep. But when i open the door, confusion takes over and i forget how to speak. Neymar is standing in front of my door, yelling at the guy who helped me with my bags earlier. 
'Sir if you harass people i’ll have to call the police.’ He says, holding his hands up, but Neymar has stopped screaming and looks at me now.
'What the hell do you think you’re doing?!’ I snap, and his face looks angry again. 
'Is everything ok miss?’ The younger boy asks. He looks a little pale and intimidated by Neymar but i nod and he leaves.
Neymar rudely walks into my room, and i wonder why he’s here.

'Are you gonna answer me or what?’ I ask, crossing my arms. He looks around, and turns around to me.
'YOU’RE STAYING AT A FUCKING HOTEL?!’ He yells, and i flinch.
'My dishwasher.. it-’ I start. 'I KNOW!’ He disrupts me and i’m honestly a little scared of him. 
'Do you know how i had to find out you were spotted in town at 2 fucking am?! I read it on twitter! I had to go to your appartment to find out what happened!’ I shake my head in confusion.
'Why were you looking for me?’ I ask, my voice sounds small and i see how he relaxes a little.
'I’ve been calling you all day, you left me no choice!’ He says, throwing his hands in the air. 
'I was too busy moving all my stuff. You can’t expect me to come running to you everytime you need me.’ I snap.
'And i’m ill, so i didn’t have the energy to talk to you.’ I add. His expression softens.
'You’re ill? How are you now?’ I sigh, and walk over to the bed to sit down. I’m wearing nothing but my underwear and  robe so i pull it down to cover my legs a little.  
'Not exactly great. Considering you just barged into my room.’ I say, looking up to him. He’s wearing jeans, and a tight white shirt and it looks amazing on him. He kneels in front of me. 
'Why didn’t you come to me meu amor? You could stay with us till your house is fixed.’  He says, and something inside of me snaps when he does. The fact that he acts like nothing happened, and we’re besties. Like i’m his puppy, who does everything he asks from me. I stand up, pushing him away and he stands up too.
'Who the fuck do you think you’re talking to?!’ I yell at him, placing my fingers on his chest and pushing him away. He’s startled by my sudden mood swing.
'We broke up Neymar! We aren’t together anymore, and it’s all because of you! Because you couldn’t stay faithfull to me! You ruined everything we had, all because of her and you don’t even care about her!’ I dramatically grab my head. All my anger, my confusion and sadness comes together in one big ball of frustration and i’m glad it happens now. I’m not even finished yet.
'Because of you i had to move out in the middle of shooting a movie after months of hearing no, everytime i went to a casting! Because of you, everytime i see Davi i get reminded of what could have happened! We could’ve been happy!’ My eyes start to water, and i don’t care.
'How could you do this to me?’ I ask, and my voice cracks. Great..
'I loved- love you so much. I would have done everything for you! I would have moved to Brazil just to be closer to you, but you ruined it.’ I finish, with a sob, and Neymar’s hurt look satisfies me in the weirdest way possible.
'I’m sorry i ruined everything.’ He says, and i see the tears in his eyes.
'You gave up everything for me and i threw it away. I just want to ask you for one more chance baby. I miss you so much.’ His voice cracks too, and we’re a mess. 
'I don’t know why i didn’t realize this before but you are the red string in my life that keeps everything together. You were my first girlfriends Davi liked, and i’m so stupid for not seeing it before. Please give me one more chance.’ He says, getting down on his knee for me. He takes my hand, and i get the crazy idea he’s going to propose to me but that can’t happen. He wouldn’t do that. That’s crazy even for him. He can’t do that. I thought.. Because Neymar reaches for something in his pocket, and when he opens the little velvet black box, i feel all the blood drain from my face.
