The river worked against her: thousands of weeping voices whispering in her ears, getting inside her brain.

Life is despair, they saidEverything is pointless, and then you die.

“Pointless,” Percy murmured. His teeth chattered from the cold. He stopped swimming and began to sink.

Nico di Angelo makes a powerful ally, but it’s not wise to get on his bad side

I just felt like drawing Nico ripping the ground apart and it got out of control. xD

His man bun in the latest chapter though… I thought he might be a character who covers their face with their hair no matter what but he actually sees the effort to look nice for the parents. uvu

Hi Cassie! I really enjoy your world, especially Blackthorn's family dynamics (Julian is an hero.) I wonder if in LoS we'll know more about Livvy and Dru's heart. I feel like Livvy's entire world revolves around Ty and she'll feel lost if someone else will come "between" them. Will she find herself a romantic interest soon?

I think that might be underestimating Livvy a little – of corse she’s very entwined with her twin, but she’s also a generous person and wants Ty happy above all things. She has some goals for herself, too, which she shares with Julian in this book.

Remember Dru is very young – only thirteen – and she’s still in the stage where she mostly gets crushes, like she had on Diego; she gets a significant one in LoS though!

there are so many possibilities
of the meaning of life,
but maybe it’s irrelevant.
maybe we’re simply alive.
and now that we are,
we have the power to change
the world, the universe,
baby, i know you’re scared,
it’s a scary world out there,
but maybe we’re heroes.
and maybe we’ll save ourselves.
