A Guide to The Adventure Zone metaplot

So recently, I re-listened to the entirety of TAZ in prep for the ending and took notes; as we head into the finale next week, I wanted to share them! This is a comprehensive look at every plot thread, bit of foreshadowing, and yet-unresolved ideas as we head into endgame. This involves heavy spoilers through the most recent episode (66) and assumes you have already listened or read the content before.

The full is under the cut!

Katsuki Yuuri

Yamamoto: Many of YoI’s skaters were inspired by real-life people, and Yuuri is no exception.
In Yuuri’s case, I’ve heard about someone who is usually timid, lacks confidence and believes to be mentally weak, but once he steps on ice, turns into a competitive skater who wants the audience, the judges, and the viewers from all over the world to   look only at them. I found it to be a really interesting mentality and that’s where I got my idea for Yuuri from.
This Yuuri stands at the edge of the proverbial cliff - and then changes through his meeting with his hero and rival, Viktor. Thanks to this meeting, Yuuri himself starts reaching for more and more, grows stronger.
I find relationships with labels like “lovers” or “family” to be stifling, so I came up with these two characters that are not bound by names like that, who hold each other dear and who share a bond that would be difficult to replace.
As a skater Yuuri has an individual sense of rhythm, his steps his unique weapon, but even on a solid ground, he’s a great dancer. When he was young, Minako-sensei taught Yuuri the basics of ballet, and, as Viktor praises him highly, his skating feels like he is creating music with his body - it moves into dance on its own as he charms his audience.

Kubo: Yuuri is the kinda type of a glass-wearing character I draw often. (laughs) Many skaters have bad eyesight, and Yuuri too skates without his glasses. I though people would love the narrow-eyed, uneasy face he makes when trying to read his score, so I added that element, too.
I aimed for a design that would be easy for Hiramatsu to draw, so instead of deciding every detail, I drew a base that would later spring to life under Hiramatsu’s hands.
“Change” is an important aspect of Yuuri, so I gave him a seemingly ordinary appearance instead of making an easy-to-get pretty boy.
Yuuri is slightly taller than a typical Japanese person - that’s because both the director and I are around 165-170cm, and we though it’d be nice if he was taller than us. Yuuri’s eyebrows are in a  slanted ハ shape, but turn sharp when he competes. Things that are easier to explain via animation, like Yuuri’s hair growing longer as the show progresses, are also present.

Hiramatsu: I made sure he looks different during his chubby and slim phases. His best body shape would be right after “Onsen on Ice”.
We based Yuuri on a typical Japanese body: he doesn’t have long legs, wide shoulders or a spectacular butt, but going with Kubo’s drawings, I gave him long arms and bony hands. Yuuri grows about 10cm taller when he dons his skating shoes, which makes his legs look longer. Yuuri’s Japanese silhouette was influenced by Yasuhiko’s style, who was in charge of many of his scenes.

Viktor Nikiforov

Yamamoto: I think, surprisingly, there are many people like Viktor in the skating world (laughs). Viktor doesn’t care about what people around him think of him, he thinks it’s obvious that he is the center of all the attention. Viktor acts as he pleases and through it, he believes he brings joy to others.
I love it when characters like him appear out of the blue. In this case, Yuuri is the cause of Viktor’s sudden appearance. Yuuri barged into Viktor’s world that he closed himself in without noticing, believing he has to create all the new surprises. Yuuri offered Viktor a possibility he hadn’t thought about - becoming someone’s coach.
Unconsciously, Viktor is lonely, without anyone of similar circumstances, without anyone he could empathize together with. Viktor didn’t yearn for someone to understand him; he didn’t see it as a problem, but also didn’t realize how lonely he was. Yuuri is not the only one who became stronger by experiencing love - through Yuuri, Viktor learned new feelings and grew stronger.

Kubo: I challenged myself to create a character everyone would look at and find handsome, moreso than in my previous works. Viktor’s hair is silver, with some lighter streaks. At first I also thought about giving him a hair that looks silver, but once you see it from up close, turns out to be blond hair with many streaks of white hair. However, I couldn’t find enough information on how white hair grows on blondes so I gave up (laughs).
Thinking of balancing his height with Yuuri’s when they stand next to each other, I made Viktor slightly taller. I wanted Viktor’s face to be recognizable in gag scenes and so gave him a heart-shaped mouth. This is something straight out of the shojo manga era of “Tokimeki Tonight” or “Ohayo! Spank” (laughs).
I wanted there to be something unexpected in contrast to Viktor’s usual handsomeness. That aspect of him where he worries about his receding hairline, you know, where it goes slightly above the sweet spot? I wanted the viewers to watch it with a beating heart and confuse that feeling with falling in love. A suspension bridge effect. (haha)
I took heaps of inspiration for Viktor’s sexiness from Stephane Lambiel.

Hiramatsu: I paid attention to the flow and quality of his hair - and same goes for Yurio. Viktor’s eyebrows are straight, rarely ever turn into a mountain-like shape. Viktor’s posture is beautiful and adds to his brilliance; he sports a magnificent butt and long limbs.
Viktor has a confidence of an adult, but as someone still in his 20s, he can be quite childish. Viktor’s heart-shaped mouth was there in Kubo’s storyboards, which influenced the staff to emphasize that in the show.

Yuri Plisetsky

Yamamoto: Russia is a country where skating can change your life - the country supports its strong skaters. When I learned that some families bet on their children or grandchildren becoming famous and make them learn skating  I thought there must be many children with unrelenting spirit and a will to climb up - and created a deformed version of that in a form of a Russian badboy.
Yurio has many lines with swears, but there’s one in ep 10 that angered Viktor when Yurio implied he is now looking after a “pig”. This line goes back to my 20s - whenever I saw a pair wearing matching rings I’d think, “A pair of pigs tied with rings” (laughs). When I mentioned it to Kubo, she was like “Pigs! That’s good!” and we decided to put it in. Yurio is the only one with a potty mouth in the series, so coming up with his bad boy lines was fun.
Many growing skaters probably understand what Yurio said when he mentioned his time in his current body grows short. Girls change a lot during that period, but boys too have their muscles grow - it’s a big burden on the body that makes it impossible to perform some moves. We tried to put as many things that Yurio can only do now as we could into the show.

Kubo: There are many elements to Yurio’s design that make him popular, such as blond hair and blue eyes. He really does stand out. Looks-wise Yurio is probably most similar to Rabi from Madō King Granzort.
To quote the director, there are many elements from different skaters in Yurio. The base inspiration was Yulia Lipnitskaya. When I saw her at the rink, I realized there are many different kinds of skaters and that a more mischievous character could work too.
Yurio’s visuals were decided on early, earlier than Yuuri’s, as he is very anime-like, easy to animate. As story progresses, Yurio’s hair grows longer. I wanted to express how, when you haven’t seen him for a while, Yurio grows more and  more beautiful. Is it Lilia who styles his hair, or is it Yurio himself?

Hiramatsu: Half of his face is covered with hair, which strengthens his expressions. It was fun to give emotions to that slightly visible eye. Yurio’s body is slim, girlish, with long limbs and not much muscle.
I draw him as I would draw a girl. His looks were heavily influenced by Tatenaka’s style, who was in charge of many scenes as well as the skating of our model Honoka Kawanishi. Yurio has a potential to grow, outgrowing Yuuri and reaching 180cm or so.

Christophe Giacometti

Yamamoto: I wanted to create a character who would share popularity with Viktor, a character overflowing with masculine charm. I wanted Chris to have this showy sexiness in him like an ice dancer, so he’s one of the taller single skaters in the series. It was so difficult to show a sexy man type of a character, as there aren’t many visual symbols associated with it. I am hoping to one day establish a new frontier of male sexiness.

Hiramatsu: Chris has a sturdy body, and the most emphasized butt in the whole series. I poured all of my drawing skills into that scene where Chris grabs and lifts his butt while skating. (laughs) Until halfway both his arms and butt are raised, and then arms go up, butt goes down, which is how I showed the butt’s bounciness.

Phichit Chulanont

Yamamoto: Yuuri is friends with Phichit because even if Yuuri doesn’t go to him, Phichit will come to Yuuri on his own. Yuuri doesn’t have to be suspicious of Phichit’s motives and he doesn’t show customary concern over him like Japanese people do which in turn is less stressful for Yuuri.

Jean-Jacques Leroy

Yamamoto: I created JJ because I wanted a character type that falls into a “mentally a musclehead” category. JJ entered Toronto University as a top student, off season participates in charity activities. His girlfriend is his HS classmate, but as a devout Christian, premarital sex is a no-no - they’re in a pure relationship.
He often says JJ this, JJ that in conversations and in general only talks about himself. Even if he nods with understanding as someone speaks, he soon butts in and changes the topic to himself.
JJ talked to Otabek in ep10 because he found it sad that his old rinkmate was alone - couldn’t leave him out of kindness of his heart. Even when people find him overbearing, JJ believes he is doing a good deed, so it doesn’t bother him.

Hiramatsu: JJ could be considered a good catch if he just shut up. (laughs)

Otabek Altin

Yamamoto: First, I wanted a Kazakh skater to be a dark horse of the GPF and that’s how Otabek was born. There are many Russians in Kazakhstan and Russian is the official language so I thought Otabek could easily be friends with Yurio. Some Kazakh skaters are known to train in Russia, so the bit where Otabek participated in Yakov’s camp and became fascinated with Yurio came to me naturally. We created many qualities that Yurio finds cool in Otabek outside of skating  - such as riding a bike and DJing.

Lee Seunggil

Yamamoto: All Seung-Gil does is training, and has no interest in things beyond skating. To create a contrast with his personality, for his SP, I went with a passionate mambo. The idea to have him count his score as he skates during competition came from Kubo.

Hiramatsu: Because of his personality, I always draw him alone in the back of group images, but he still looks into the camera. (laughs)

Michele Crispino

Yamamoto: To protect his sis, Michele tries to be threatening to scare off others. This doesn’t work on Emil, so they’re on good terms.

Kubo: As an Italian who cares about appearance, I made him look like he visits a hairdresser once every two weeks. But I also wanted to add something non-Italian to him, hence the pretty dark personality.

Hiramatsu: Michele also would be a good catch if he shut up.

Emil Nekola

Yamamoto: Emil is rarely scared and there is nothing two-faced about his personality; he doesn’t feel too down when he makes mistakes which means he can still grow and become strong.

Kubo: I googled “Czech, male” and based Emil on one of the first pictures I found. At the beginning Yamamoto was talking about making Emil the most handsome out of the European skaters, but I completely forgot. (haha)

Yuri on Ice 2017/02/11 all night event report

I’m back from the event and I’ll write a report before going to sleep, mostly because I’m sure I will not be able to decipher my scribbles when I wake up… It’s not the full talk show since you can’t record it and also I couldn’t possibly write down everything, but I tried to take note of most things, especially stuff that has never been mentioned elsewhere. In the end it became quite long so I guess I was able to get most of the stuff down…

Needless to say it’s my notes, so other people might write about parts I omitted, etc. To be honest quite a few of the things they said especially in the beginning, like what the seiyuu think about their characters, is something I’ve read so many times in interviews that I could almost answer in their place, lol… I was a bit disappointed that one of the questions that was answered is the one about Chris’ mysterious acquaintance, because actually Kubo answered that in Pash already (it’s in the Q&A part I’ll be translating later), and I hoped they would feature questions about stuff that hasn’t been explained yet. Well I guess not everybody reads interviews, but still…

Due to the format of the report you can find my comments here and there, mostly in brackets.
Under the cut because it’s long.

I forgot to mention something important: the ones participating in the talk show were Mitsurou Kubo, Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Yuuri), Junichi Suwabe (Victor), Kouki Uchiyama (Yurio).

Ok, so, even after aaaalll this time I’m still seeing quite a lot of people who continue on bashing Sakura and saying how useless she is and how she always cries and how Hinata is much stronger and so on and so forth…

So let’s try to start from the very beginning. I get it, she was hardcore fangirl in the first part but c’mon, you have to admit that at some point in your life you acted the same towards someone you really, really liked…
Sakura was taking care of those two, guarding them and staying awake for hours, keeping them safe.

Then the three ninja appeared and even tho she was very tired, she still fought them and managed to hold them off enough so others can come and help too.

Later in the exams, despite loosing, she showed a nice power against Ino and please bear in mind that Ino is from a powerful clan unlike Sakura who is from a normal family. After that, she showed genjutsu skills, she was one of the few who didn’t get affected by the genjutsu and that’s how she managed to free Naruto and the others from it. Then when they tracked Sasuke, Naruto was scared, he was actually shaking when he saw the monster in front of him and when Gaara sprung ahead to kill Sasuke, Sakura was the one to stand and protect Sasuke which resulted in her getting caught.

She shows concern for her friends and is selfless. She is ready to throw herself in between two of the most powerful attacks only to stop those two idiots. And imagine what would have happened if Kakashi hadn’t come in time.

They say that she placed a big burden on Naruto and that she is using him to bring Sasuke back and yet she realized her mistake the moment Naruto came back from the failed attempt in bringing Sasuke back. She swore to get stronger and take off the burden she placed upon Naruto. She started training with Tsunade and indeed got stronger. She healed a lot of people.

She saved Kankuro’s life. Even Chiyo was impressed by her skills.

Then when they were sent to retrieve Gaara. She defeated Sasori. Yes, Chiyo helped her but Sakura showed incredible skills on her own. Sasori praised her on a few occasions.

After that, Naruto was damaged by the Kyuubi’s chakra. It was Sakura who healed him. Even tho she was in pain, she did everything to make the wounds heal faster.

Then, she had her little moments that I’m going to skip. Let’s concentrate on the bigger ones like the attack on Konoha. She helped a looot of injured ppl uncluding Hinata. If it wasn’t for Sakura, Hinata would have died.

She even saved Karin and cried on her.

After that, war time, I don’t have to mention that she again saved a lot of people and caugh the White Zetsu.

She also activated her seal and managed to do some impressive work on defeating a lot of enemies.

She summoned Katsuyu and healed everyone on the battlefield… quite the amount if you ask me…

Of course Naruto being one of them :))

She also pretty much helped Shikamaru, she kept him alive and gave him chakra until Naruto recovered enough to give them all chakra.

Oh c’mon, I don’t have to say that she saved Naruto’s life.

They say how she was super scared when she encountered Madara. Then again, was Hinata going to be less scared? Or was she going to do that..?

Distract him a little so Naruto and Sasuke can think of sth. And look at her, she is enduring it, pushing the fear away and doing everything in her powers to fight him.

It was thanks to her that Obito was able to find Sasuke, otherwise, they were doomed…

And she also saved Obito. If it wasn’t for her, the acid would have splashed him instead and … bye bye Obi~

If I remember correctly, Sasuke and Naruto were just about to seal Kaguya away but it would have been another fail. If it wasn’t for Sakura, Kaguya would have escaped them once again.

she also healed those two bakas when they fought

And what did Hinata do?

She did helped Naruto by protecting him from Pain. But don’t take Naruto’s rage that deeply ok. He thought that she was dead and she was his friend so it’s only normal to react like that. It would have been Shikamaru or Kiba or someone else from his friends, he would have reacted the same way.

And yes, she has the byakugan and is able to do a lot of things thanks to it but what would have happened if she didn’t have it????

and what the hell is that? Make your own Ninja Way girl, don’t copy Naruto’s

She is cute and compassionate and has decent power but some things I just can’t forgive about her character. Fuck Trollmoto tho…

I have to say that I do not hate Hinata but I at the same time I don’t like her that much. She had the potential to become more confident and strong individual but she was left submissive and with almost no confidence.

Now let’s pay some attention to the NaruSaku and MinaKushi stuff. They say that Hinata is like Minato. Indeed the both of them are on the quiet side but other than that what? Minato often throws jokes and he often smiles and grins and he tends to be a little goofy. He is also pretty smug when torturing Kakashi and Obito in their trainings and trying to make them work as a team. Hinata … errr….

Minato calms Kushina = balance. When did Hinata calmed Naruto?

here??? (lets not mention how Neji was dead in her feet and she was thinking how warm Naruto’s hand was) *CRINGE*

I do know that it is war time and there isn’t that much time for grieving but she could have at least hugged Neji and told him “Thank you for always being there for me” or sth like that. At least a reaction like Rock Lee or TenTen would have been good but she just stood and watched…

And oh well, sorry to disappoint you but that scene is kinda copied..

*cough* *cough*

Say whatever you want but Kushina’s line stays the same
“Find someone like your mother”

And Minato considered Sakura as Naruto’s girlfriend and stated how she was like Kushina. And Sakura and Minato actually worked together.

And they also share some similarities…

If we include the movies. Naruto was saved by Sakura a lot of times. Like in Road to Ninja, she fought Obito/Menma.

The Blood Prison, she kept him alive enough for Ryuuzetsu to help him.

And in The Last (which is the bullshit of the bullshits) she was healing him and transfering chakra into him for days. She saved his life again.

Even in Boruto the movie when they were attacked, she fought and evacuated the people. Later, healed them.

Including Hinata who instead of staying with her children in such dire situation, sprung to help Naruto only to be knocked out instantly and risking her own life against oponent she has NO chance at even scratching. (what would have happened if the enemy injured her more seriously or worse - killed her? the kids would have been without mother. She is too reckless.)

and that shit about Naruto loving her because of the rivalry? Oh well, you still remember 235 ep right? He said how he fell in love with her sweet smile and all those cheesy things. They shared so many moments.

First thing he mutters is “Sakura-chan”

Unlike Hinata, who was placed in Sasuke’s place in The Last. The moment when they were little and she “was with him from day one” Sakura actually was with him when they were little (alongside Shikamaru, Kiba, Sasuke and Choji and even Ino. Yes, they weren’t playing that much but they still shared some moments. Hinata tho, Naruto just saved her once from some bullies…)

And lookie, we even have the red thread of love

And let’s not forget how she cherished the flower and blushed the whole time

All and all

And also not to mention that Naruto and Sakura would have been not only like Minato and Kushina but also like Hashirama and Mito. Hashirama is a sunny guy like Naruto and Mito is Uzumaki and all Uzumaki are loud and cheerful and energetic like Kushina (and therefore Sakura). And we can also add Jiraiya and Tsunade, the way they acted was the same way the other couples act. Even Rin and Obito are the same (despite Rin being a little gentler) and Yaiko and Konan too. So this is going on through generations, ever since the Warring Eras with Mito and Hashirama to the other war stricken eras with Jiraiya and Tsunade, Konan and Yahiko to the more modern era with Obito and Rin and Kushina and Minato to the peace era with Naruto and Sakura.

And here is some amazing fanart, seriously even if I wasn’t a NaruSaku fan, I would have still being able to notice those things. Hinata is cute but she really isn’t that strong. If she wasn’t from the noble clan she wouldn’t have been able to fend for herself. Sakura on the other hand is not from such a clan but she manages to surpass Tsunade who is known as the strongest woman. I’m a person who sticks to facts.

I hope you can agree with me…. :)) I myself want Kishimoto to fuck everyone and just write a special NaruSaku manga where they end up together… no more bullshits!!!

anonymous asked:

What changes happened during ep 28? I binged read the manga so ..

Anonymous said: I would be so grateful if you tell which chapter is the episode 28?

@lumicuous said: I fully agree and I hope so much they’ll animate it the way it is in the manga! Though, I have a question… what changes in Episode 28 do you mean?

I’m putting all of these together again since they are about the same thing ^^.

Like I said in my other post, I didn’t like those changes. The one who got it worse was Mikasa, but the changes weren’t really good for Eren and Levi either, in my opinion.

But well, to make some sense of what I’m saying I need to explain myself a bit more, so let’s start from the beginning!

The scene I’m talking about is from Chapter 37 of the manga, and was animated on episode 28 with some changes.

During this scene, Levi talks to Eren, Armin, and Mikasa and gives them instructions about what to do next, since they’re going to go separate ways. This scene occurs during the cart ride.

Levi first tells Eren he has to succeed no matter what. And just after that he addresses Armin and Mikasa. We got the first part in the anime quite well, so I can’t complain about that.

But in the anime, they moved the other part of the conversation to a scene later on. Levi then talks to Armin in a similar way as in the manga, but when he talks to Mikasa, is when the issues start. This is what originally Levi said to Mikasa:

This dialogue did happen in the anime scene more or less accurately. But in the manga, he continued and told her this:

This part was changed in the anime, and Levi told this to Eren instead.

“And finally… Eren.
Learn how to restrain yourself.
Don’t succumb to rage and lose sight of the goal.
We can’t afford another mistake”.

“Yes, sir!”

This… changes a lot of things.

The reason Levi said this to Mikasa in the first place is because how she acted in the encounter with the female titan in the forest. She tried to attack her even if Levi told her not to. For Levi, saving Eren was the priority. He let this very clear to Mikasa during that time, and he is doing it again now. Because of Mikasa’s actions, Levi got injured. What Levi meant with these words was that her attachment to Eren is precisely what can backfire for her and put him at risk. She has to make protecting Eren her priority no matter what, and for that she has to keep a clear head and avoid getting carried out by her rage.

Mikasa is not going to forget about this conversation, and this exchange is going to be very important to her development. Many people did not like this change, and have explained the reasons extensively since then, so I won’t go much into it, since I’m trying to focus on Eren and Levi here.

Because for me, this scene in the manga was also very important for Eren and Levi’s relationship because it showed how Levi always put Eren first, and how he made sure to let clear his safety was the most important thing, just before they separated. He wanted to make sure Eren was protected properly now that he couldn’t do it himself. It doesn’t matter if you see Levi’s intentions as caused by duty, or by personal feelings; it’s a fact that he puts Eren’s safety as the most important thing.

Also, the way Levi’s face changes in the anime when talking to Eren compared with Armin and Mikasa didn’t help either. He speaks to them very calmly, but when it’s time to talk to Eren, suddenly his face gets… (I’m not going to discuss the animation because, lol) I don’t know what’s that, but he’s not happy! Here’s a comparison:

Of course to anyone who enjoys Eren and Levi’s relationship, these changes will be already a sad thing on itself. But what it personally bothered me by this change, (and the whole reason of this post lol) was the fandom reaction, especially by people who haven’t read the manga and get their vision of Eren and Levi’s relationship from the anime only.

And the reason is simple: Why would Levi say this to Eren? The conclussion many people reached was that this was caused by Eren’s decision in the forest, and the death of Levi’s squad.

I completely disagree with this.

Levi gave Eren the choice to do what he thought was best. He has repeated again and again how no one can know the outcome of that choice. Levi would never blame Eren for the death of his squad this way, he would not refer to it as a mistake, or something that happened because of Eren’s rage. I repeat,

Levi would never blame Eren for the death of his squad!

Even more when this has been already discussed between them. Remember this scene from Chapter 32?

So why then, the anime makes Levi talk to Eren like that? The most likely reason and the theory I agree with the most, is that this is because the anime also changed the final battle with the female titan in Stohess, and made Eren lose control, go into berserker mode, etc. So then, it makes sense for Levi to say this to Eren in the anime. In the context on the anime alone, this change is justified, even if this never happened in the manga.

So in my opinion, if I’m going to judge the changes just by that, they really aren’t a big deal in regards of Eren and Levi. I understand that the anime has to make changes from the manga to be able to adapt it, and it’s not going to be an exact copy of it. But, like I said before, the way some part of the fandom reacted to this is what upset me and why I wished they had never made this change.

There are people who think Levi hates Eren because of the death of his squad. Who think of Eren as just a bundle of rage who can’t control himself, it’s always yelling/crying, etc. The anime exagerates this a lot in many occasions. Levi telling him this, with that expression, did not help at all on that regard. I saw comments saying how Eren “is always messing everything up” and “it’s obvious Levi is fed up with him”. And usually those comments are followed by some remark like “how can people still ship ereri omg”.

So yeah… this is why this change is annoying to me, haha.

In the original scene, when everyone is asking Eren if he’s going to be able to seal the hole, Levi realizes he is uncomfortable, pressured, and he speaks to reassure him, he gives him encouragement and motivation, and he does this calmly, without getting angry at him. He never blames him for any mistakes or talks about his rage. That’s how Levi and Eren’s relationship actually is for me, and I hope more people saw it that way, too.

Okayy so I recently ruined my life by watching like 14 years of a tv show in less than a month. So now, yes, I sold my soul to the one and only supernatural fandom (courtesy of @downworlderss)

I just got a couple of remarks for this show and none of it had any structure or order so here we go.

*MASSIVE SPOILER WARNING IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN ALL THE SEASONS*

  • Just Cas’s relationship w/ Dean (I am neutral ground between platonic and destiel atm) but whatever you think you cannot deny that these two fucking love each other and it’s just so damn beautiful
  • JIMMY NOVAK IS THE BEST FATHER IN THIS THING
  • The Novak storyline just makes me cry
  • Lucifer Cas was genuinely disturbing at times but this fucking line is now my life

  • Actually so many things Castifer says and just the way Misha portrays all of the alter egos. It’s just amazing.
  • When we’re introduced to Levi!Cas Misha freaking Collins wtf how do you do that crazy thing with your eyes that makes you look like a completely different person
  • When Dean calls Cas his brother and says ‘i want you to know that’ is so fucking important to me because this wonderful being has been hunted by his angel brothers and sisters and Dean Winchester does not idly throw around a word like brother this scene was so special
  • Assbutt
  • Castiel’s wings scorched onto the ground just hit me so fucking hard and goddamnit it I can’t deal with that because he’s actually dead
  • Just… Castiel

-I’ll probably think of a load more this show man…

UPDATE:

  • HOW THE FRICKATY FRACK DID I FORGET GABRIEL
  • The car scene with Gabe and Cas and the parallels between them and the Winchester boys
  • BITCH PLEASE YOU’VE BEEN GOD MORE OFTEN THAN DAD HAS
  • I don’t think I stressed Balthazar enough because his death and the fact that Cas did it killed me.. and him
  • Crowley crowley crowley crowley
  • These boys are frustrating as fuck sometimes get your damn feelings sorted out you are brothers for fucks sake love each other always
  • It’s just when they’re like ‘oh we can’t be brothers anymore how could you do that to me’ and I’m sat there thinking ‘YOU LITERALLY DID THE SAME EXACT THING TO HIM LAST FUCKING SEASON COME ON’
  • Alsooo when Cas is Castifer everyone just seems to forget that, hello, CAS IS BEING POSSESSED BY LUCFIER DO YOU WANNA KEEP HIM SAFE IS HE YOUR FRIEND OR WHAT. And then Dean goes ‘what about Cas’ and I’m marginally satisfied
  • This scene
  • LOVED THIS SCENE
  • I always love Lucifer until he goes after Cas and then I hate Lucifer and when he’s doing something else I love him again
  • This is not devil worship
  • Sam’s exasperation and the bitch face is honestly so funny to me I have no idea
  • SASSTIEL
  • The fact that Cas thinks so little of himself that the only way he believes he can be ‘of use’ to the boys is BY ENDLESSLY SACRIFICING HIMSELF
  • STOP CAS
  • YOU’RE FUCKING LOVED
  • Also the way Dean screams Cas’s name and how Sam has to drag him back through the portal to their side in the season 12 finale PFFFH don’t even get me started
  • So is Gabe alive or what?
  • So is Cas alive or what?
  • SO AM I ALIVE OR WHAT

UPDATEUPDATE

  • The storyline with Hannah and Cas was SO uncomfortable
  • Like, they’re literally siblings and the whole weird half-romantic subplot was just… ergh
  • I’m so fucking hyped for season 13, give me scooby-doo spn and I sure hope it’s Gabriel because, honestly, who else would put them in scooby-doo, pleaseeee give me richard speight jr
  • I’ve been reading a ton of fanfic, this has ruined me. There’s this wonderful author on fanfic.net called 29pieces who does amazing fics and they’re my life now
  • Cas’s eyes yes please give me the sky
  • Spn is creepy ass monsters and traumatizing characters and heartbreaking scenes
  • But sometimes they just throw in a crack episode and they keep me sane, honestly. I would be in a limitless pool of tears if not for the crack eps and the gag reels
  • THE GAG REELS
  • THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITES HE GOES FROM CAS TO MISHA IN LIKE A SINGLE SECOND
  • Back to sadness
  • CAS’S FACE AFTER METATRON SAYS ‘he’s dead too’
  • And he sees dean’s blood on the angel blade
  • HEARTBREAKING NO THANK YOU
  • SEASON 9. MAKES. ME. SO ANGRY. HOW DARE SAM AND DEAN HUNT WHILE CAS IS HOMELESS AND COLD AND A L O N E
  • I’m so sad about Cas being homeless because Misha and oh my god
  • Future!Cas also makes me sad because I know it’s funny and all to see Cas high but thinking about the road that led him there is not
  • Thinking about Cas’s depression that led him to drug abuse keeps me up at night
  • I NEED CHUCK TO TELL CAS HE’S HIS FAVOURITE BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY PLEASE
  • My angel feels inadequate and I cannot handle that today
  • Everything about Cas just makes me sad
Talks Machina Highlights: Episode 94
  • Denise message: “MY WORDS ARE A SPELL I’M CASTING ON YOU ALL”
  • Everybody will be in next week’s ep for the continuation of Liam’s one-shot!
  • If Pike had been in the Nine Hells, Percy probably would’ve signed the contract secretly as opposed to up-front. She’s the only one who can actually evoke shame in them at this point.
  • Taliesin was planning the entire time to scry on Scanlan and has been trying to make an excuse to steal the Scrying Eye for weeks.
  • Pike’s moment with the earring, talking to Scanlan, was 100% improv.
  • Laura suspects Sam wouldn’t have been able to pull off Scanlan’s departure if Pike had been there. As it was, after the show went on break, Sam felt so bad that he ran over and gave a hug to everyone. If he’d made Pike cry, according to Laura: “he’d be UNFORGIVABLE.”
  • Taliesin semi-bullshitted the Grey Hunt stuff and Matt rolled with it. Taliesin gave him a ride to the airport the next day and they talked about how much they enjoyed how it worked out.
  • Laura points out that she’s the type of gamer who reloaded the game 20 times in ME3 to try to find a way to get a resolution that would be good for everyone when one didn’t exist, and she had that same sense of frustration when she got home after the game. She was really upset over the resolution of the Grey Hunt, but is feeling a bit better knowing it at least wasn’t failure.
  • Ashley and Travis both briefly thought the Grey Hunt was gonna be a weird proposal. Taliesin: “I feel like in our friends group the proposals have been getting more and more ridiculous. That would be the meta-continuation.”
  • Taliesin points out that Percy has a problem with abandonment and the whole thing with Scanlan is hitting his “really serious anger management issues.” Percy was hoping to get Vex’s vague permission/help over the Scanlan thing, and when it wasn’t forthcoming, he changed his plans to be less extreme. Percy’s also dealing with guilt over not feeling useful in the underwater fight, and is displacing that as anger over Scanlan not being there to mitigate that issue.
  • Pike’s got a lot of lingering resentment over Scanlan leaving.
  • Vex would’ve approached the Hunt differently if she’d known more about the creature ahead of time. Everyone decides that it probably killed a lot of small, cute woodland creatures when it threw the tree at Vex.
  • Percy’s most angry about Scanlan leaving the group and abandoning his responsibilities. Everyone else has to deal with the horrible shit going on, but he’s the one who gets to fall apart.
  • Ashley was disappointed not to be in the Hells—she was wondering if she might’ve had a permanent shift in her personality as a result of staying there. Ashley really struggled with playing Pike as a good character early in the home game.
  • Vex was at 10 HP at the end of the Hunt. Taliesin didn’t think there was a real chance of death there, because Matt’s great at building tests that are terribly difficult but not fatal, but was more worried that she was gonna fail. Laura: “God, I would’ve felt like a loser!”
  • Ashley and Laura have both kept themselves from watching the scene that was just Taliesin and Sam and Matt in the room.
  • The idea of leaving with Scanlan crossed Ashley’s mind when she watched the episode, but it’s tough to tell what would’ve happened if she’d been there, because so much of the show is in-the-moment.
  • Vex thinks of Whitestone as home, more than Greyskull.
  • Pike feels some guilt over Scanlan’s departure because of the pranking. “I never thought he would be mad at something like that, of all people.” Percy didn’t feel bad about it, because that’s not where Scanlan’s anger really came from. Pike still feels bad, knowing that.
  • Poor Brian has food poisoning and had to run off-set midway through the show. Ashley jumps in to take over. “Okay, Laura and Ashley. Uh. Me.”
  • Taliesin says Percy and Cassandra don’t really talk about personal things—she probably doesn’t know about Vex, although she suspects. They love each other and all, but they’re not a very warm family. “It’s cold and we live in a castle, for god’s sake.” Laura sums it up: “Cassandra is no Vax.” Percy and Cassandra weren’t super close as kids. “She was a brat.”
  • Brian judges Ashley for not coming up with a funnier excuse for his running off-screen.
  • Vex and Vax have been growing into their own people over the past few months, but Laura doesn’t know how Vex will deal with being in Whitestone without having Vax around, without the comfort of knowing the person she loves most is nearby.
  • Percy has come up with contingency plans for if the other party members go rogue. Brian: “Tell me about it.” Taliesin: “No. They’re in the room.”
  • Vex has an affinity for nature, and while she’s growing accustomed to Whitestone, she’s more comfortable not being around people, because it lets her keep from putting on an act.
  • Before Pike died, her hair was black (with a purple streak), and after she died, her hair turned white.
  • Ashley gets asked about Pike’s parents and grandparents, and there is a story there, but she refuses to answer in case it comes up in the game.
  • Someone asks about Percy breaking his "honesty streak.” Taliesin: “It’s not an honesty streak, it’s just a period of not being caught lying.” Laura: “People think [Percy]’s much better than he is.”
  • Blurbs on the back of Tary’s book. Percy: “A fascinating addition to the Audubon chronicles of Emon.” Vex: “Don’t believe the lies.” Pike: “I enjoyed the artwork in particular. Great read, but the artwork is fantastic. By the late and great artist, Doty(e), someone whom we used to know.”

Talks Machine in the Dark:

  • If Pike had a companion along the lines of Trinket, it would be a baby snow owl.
  • Taliesin wants fanart of Strawberry Shortcake-esque little animal pets for all of them.
  • Taliesin hasn’t thought about what Grog’s title would entail. “Now that you’ve said it, I’m having thoughts, and they’re all ridiculous and a little mean.”
  • Favorite spells outside their class: all agree that Chromatic Spray is cool. Taliesin misses using Prestidigitation. Brian: “I don’t have that spell because I can’t pronounce it.”
  • Percy smells like sandalwood and gunpowder.
  • After a long debate over which character would win in a Survivor AU, they eventually decide everyone would survive and they’d all do just fine together.
  • Ashley and Laura have matching compass tattoos, along with two more of their friends—they each have a direction.
  • High-school superlatives. Pike: “Best legs.” Percy would have a series along the lines of “President of chess club, president of yearbook club. Most likely to help make the yearbook.”
Yuri on Life: All Skater’s Commentary, Part II (of many)

[All translations copied verbatim from Ahi_The_Geek on Twitter.]

Yamamoto on Yurio:

Russia is a country where skating can change your life - the country supports its strong skaters. Yurio is the only one with a potty mouth in the series, so coming up with his badboy lines was fun.

Kubo on Yurio:

There are many elements to Yurio’s design that make him popular, such as blond hair and blue eyes.

Hiramatsu on Yurio:

Half of his face is covered with hair, which strengthens his expressions.

Yamamoto on Chris:

I wanted to create a character who would share popularity with Viktor, a character overflowing with masculine charm.

Hiramatsu on Chris:

Chris has a sturdy body, and the most emphasized butt in the whole series.

Tatenaka on Chris:

I poured all of my drawing skills into that scene where Chris grabs and lifts his butt while skating. (laughs) Until halfway both his arms and butt are raised, and then arms go up, butt goes down, which is how I showed the butt’s bounciness.

Yamamoto on Phichit:

Yuuri is friends with Phichit because even if Yuuri doesn’t go to him, Phichit will come to Yuuri on his own. Yuuri doesn’t have to be suspicious of Phichit’s motives and he doesn’t show customary concern over him like Japanese people do, which is less stressful for Yuuri.

So Many Spoilers And Yet, Jonsa Is Still Endgame

Okay my loves. Everyone close your eyes and take a deep, calming breath. Better? No? Well then, let’s continue …

It seems that no matter where you turn, the internet has been brimming with GoT spoilers. Some seem plausible, some utterly ridiculous, others written like straight up fanfiction. Since then, my inbox has been flooded with nervous Jonsa shippers, and while I would love to answer each one of you individually, I’m only one person. That doesn’t mean you should stop sending me asks -at the risk of repeating myself, I’ve just decided to compile all of my current thoughts here.

Here’s your warning right now that this post contains SPOILERS. Whether or not they are factual spoilers, remains to be seen.

5x08 review Guillotines Decide

How do you start writing about Guillotines Decide.

Highly anticipated.Murderous.Bittersweet. Emotional.

Some people hated it.Some people got upset. The majority has mixed feelings.

Personally i loved it.

Way too many things happened in only 42 minutes.I felt the episode was 1 hour and a half, not 40+ minutes. All the major ob characters made an appearance and that was lovely. I’m happy to see another female writer getting to tell her story. After 5x05 ( Jenn Engels ) and 5x07( Renée St. Cyr ), 5x08 came with Aisha Porter-Christie .

We’re 2 episodes before the end and 5x08 needed to be the episode that bridges the conclusion of this story with what each character has accomplished so far. Episodes 9 & 10 are gonna be a 2 parter (Graeme confirmed) so Ep 8 was the prelude of the ending.

Guillotines Decide, was more than a farewell to an amazing character. It was an episode about family- the family you choose to be a part of. In the constant battle between  nature and nurture it’s our choices that define who we are and who we want  next to us.

That’s why if i had to pick one quote from this episode that ultimately defines the whole series,it would be this:

We are all mysterious works of chance, of choice, of nature vs. nurture. So, to my galaxy of women, thank you for the nurture.

Fee’s speech was everything.Full of love, support and generosity. His brush  always a doorway through  expression and musing.

Sarah

It was always about Sarah. His gallery-his own house- full of different versions of her.

She was the key of analyzing how liquidable identity trully is, how the same face can have  multiple personalities and traits, how social labels destroy our own complexity , restraining us from cherishing life the way we want to.

Felix’s art night brought Cosima,Sarah and Alison together as one person. The whole 1 person-multiple personas performance was a brilliant way  of getting the sisters together in one night and watching them happy and more importantly free.

-Alison, carefree, happy to help Fee and trying to wake her inner artistic self. Donnie always with her, supporting her, happy to be a part of this extraordinary family.

-Cosima  back in her own joyous self, more dashing than ever. Laughing, dancing having Delphine with her.

-Sarah, finally realizing that DYAD is going down once and for all, getting to chill and enjoy the night.

It was a well deserved night for them and for us the viewers. After all this angst and pain this joy was much needed and justified. After all, they are so close to freedom.

-THE ABSENT SISTERS

  • Helena

I SMELL NEO SHIT

i loooooved this line, so utterly Helena!

Thank god Gracie didn’t betray Helena again even tho she was that close..

when i saw the gun pointed at G i kinda knew she’s a gonner. So the spoiler source was right 3 persons died in 5x08 indeed.

they’re gonna gag Helena with the Hannibal mask in the next ep jfc

i’m really hoping her character/centric episode will be as intense as Rachel’s was…also her journal and memoirs are gonna be a testimony of courage throughout the next generation of sisters…

  • Rachel

god Rachel Rachel Rachel…i was so scared about the way they’re gonna handle her…i was afraid about her backstabbing S but THANK GOD they did it the right way…

Rachel’s “Be careful” to Siobhan was so broken and authentic, like there was a micro/tiny-possiblity of her subconsiously believing S’s words…

-We do everything we can, each of us in our way

-And we do it for each other.

if you look closely to this scene Rachel is crying in here…jfc she’s a mess of emotions…

… is there a chance for her to be a part of this sisterhood after everything she’s done? Does she really wants to? Will she ever be accepted? Is Siobhan her only hope of ever feeling that she belongs to something??

I haven’t seen Rachel as vulnerable and soft as in 5x08…

and i am DREADING the 2 parter cause after Graeme’s newest interview he confirms that there’s a confrontation coming between Sarah and Rachel…

can you imagine the triumvirate  Sarah,,Helena and Rachel in one scene?

omg IT’S COMING AND IT WILL BE GLORIOUS… i wonder if Helena’s “i’m gonna kill Rachel” is foreshadowing or not…

  • FERDINASS

ok i really wanna set some things straight..

Ferdinand never loved Rachel..neither do i believe that the show is trying to sell us that Fernisshole deeply loved her…i don’t know what the writers have said for him in interviews- and i don’t care tbh , cause from the show itself it’s clear to  me that this isn’t love, it’s just a  game of dominance and nothing more…if the writers wanted to glorify him then he would have helped Rachel bring down DYAD because the only thing she wants is freedom…and Ferdinand never listened to her..

what’s really REALLY sad- and that’s where people should focus- is the fact that poor Rachel thinks that’s real love.

imagine how fucking mentally abused  she was all her life that she believes this is love…can you actually imagine it? How distorted is her image about love because she has never experienced it? And when a human being (let’s pretend F/asshole is human being ) doesn’t betray her then she thinks that’s love…PROTECT RACHEL FUCKIN’ DUNCAN

the struggling attemp…i read posts saying that Rachel is crying about Ferdinand?

i mean

?????/ whAT???

Rachel hit rock bottom she doesn’t give 2 shits about Ferd

at this point, she just wants so fucking HARD to die that F is literally doing her a favor…and the reason he left her live is because HE KNOWS HOW MUCH SHE WANTS TO DIE…so he punishes her that way…not even giving her the redemption she desperately seeks in death… it’s literally freedom or death for her..jesus Rachel’s story arc is one of the most beautiful things in season 5….

there’s only one thing that trully disturbed me in ep 8 and that was the “who’s your daddy” dialogue… i choose to believe that Rachel was just playing his game, leting him say whatever makes him feel good in order to continue with the plan and set herself free..especially the “go go ahead, daddy”..she really needed him to kill her jfc

  • DELPHINE FINALLY A PART OF THE FAMILY

at fucking LLLAAAAaaAAAaaast

about bloody time…this episode kept giving and giving i mean?!! I never thought we would have so many Delphine moments jfc

a lot of firsts…first skype call with the ledas…first time that someone openly acknowledged her worth in protecting the ledas in front of others (Ms S in the skypecall)

and then Cosima FINALLY SAID THE WORDS

for YOU, especially you Cos babe..this girl is screaming her love to you for 5 seasons…

she gave everything…her body, her life, her safety, your relationship, EVERYTHING just to keep you safe- is there anything more pure than that?

and not only that even Adele that doesn’t know Delphine at all said it!!

And Delphine, all she did was whatever Siobhan told her too…

However strong and powerful Delphine might seem, in reality she was craving to hear those words and to feel accepted…imagine living in the shadows of doubt and accusations all this time..trying to ignore everyone’s distrust because you fucking love this girl that much..her smile says it all

Cophine was glorious in this episode. And it’s not about the cuteness or fluffiness. What really got me is the sentimentality of their moments. They were finally free.

To talk,to fool around,to stupidly dance  or to do nothing at all.Things that were ruthelessly taken away from them.Things that normal couples do.And now their life together is so palpable they can almost taste it.

-you like it that much?

Cosima darling , after all this time you still don’t have a clue huh?

what really does it for me in this scene, is how Delphine is lost in the painting and her realisation while Cosima’s whole world at this moment is Del..they’re in a crowded place only breathing for each other..at this point i can’t even tell who’s  more in love

and of fucking course she would buy the painting i mean D-U-H

totally loved the

-you own me

joke in regards to the painting.. it’s a too-soon-bad-kind-of-joke aka exactly so utterly Cosima-thing to say

however the ultimate cophine scene for me in 5x08 will be this

unscripted, bittersweet and so very intimate…tears of joy is something that ob doesn’t give us very often and i wanna thank Tatiana for that…i’m in awe with that girl and her performances…she is so.freakingly.good.and.so.devoted.to.her.characters that i have MAD respect for her….and Ebro totally went for it uplifting the scene even more….they are amazing together, their chemistry is magnetic.

imagine for how long did poor Cosima bottled up all those feelings and fears…she didn’t even dare to dream how it would be like to be free..and now it’s happening and she’s not alone, and she gets to share this moment  with the person she needed the most.

Delphine is cocooning her, always the rock and shoulder to cry on.Imagine the sex after this moment (cough COPHINE WRITERS U KNOW WHAT TO DO)

  • LAST CHAPTER

Chicken.

A glorious farewell to a badass character.A bittersweet goodbye to a woman of multiple roles. Warrior, mother, daughter, ally,  the head of the family .The person that glued the Manning household. The invisible pillar.

It fucking broke me that S is dead. But she did it on her terms. Her death was not meaningless. It wasn’t just a “someone had to die” fiasco. Ferdinad needed to die from her hands cause they had unsettled business.I even took pleasure that he died first.Siobhan won in every way possible. She achieved what was the most important task for her : keep Kira safe, her kids alive and bring DYAD down. She did everything she was supposed to do.Killed Ferdinand to get revenge for MK and even gave Rachel a chance to reevaluate her choices/ reengage with her sisters.

S needed to to die cause Sarah needed that final push to transform to the sisterhood’s savior.

Remember episode 4? It was 200% foreshadowing

of what it means to become you.

this is it.That is the moment of Sarah’s transformation. This is how she’s going to take responsibility for everything that’s to come. Her  bonding with S will finally make her realize how is she going to save her sisters and the next generations.

Cause if we go back to s5 ep 1 and Cosima-Sarah’s exchange, Sarah didn’t care about PT or  the implications of his plan to the future generations..she just wanted her family and sisters to be ok…now tho..she knows what’s at stake..she will be stronger, bolder and more ready to fight. She will carry on her mother’s plan.

And i can’t wait to see her arise from her ashes of sorrow and make Beth and Siobhan proud.

anonymous asked:

Thoughts on the bellamy/raven scene at the end of 4.13?

okay, bear with me. it’s late and my mind is not really functional past 3am but i’m going to type this up anyway, because i’m a bit (actually very) emotional.

i was super impressed by it to be honest, especially because I had no expectations as to how some of the character arcs would come around and create this full circle of growth that they underwent in the past four seasons.

there is a lot to be said about raven and bellamy themselves in that scene of course (which i will), as individuals, but its quite fascinating how these two usually develop this triangle unit with clarke too, who plays another key factor in that scene despite her absence now (yea, believe it or not but bravenlarke, narratively, comes in trio writing and that scene is no exception).

on another note, and I’m not sure if i’m the only one who actually thought of it, but the way the scene between bellamy and raven ends (before we cut to the 6 years and 7 days time jump) reminds me a lot of the scene where Finn expresses the line “Always” himself when raven, after forgiving him for the things he has done to her, tells him that they’ll always be family in season two:

the thing with finn and raven is that while this moment brings forth all of their history and makes a point about how far they have come since they landed on the ground while also showing to us that finn is indeed the only person raven has ever actually considered “family” (she is the one reaching out to him upon realizing how affected finn is by the things he has done that happen to be tied to clarke mostly, if not all), it represents the end of their journey together too, as finn decides to sacrifice himself not much later to save his friends from war.

“always” in that sense is a very short-lived moment for them as raven loses finn by the end of the episode (through clarke’s hands no less, and note that 2x08 is a very heavy bravenlarke ep as well) and has to start to find a way to live without him and deal with the fact that she couldn’t stop this from happening.

so, in one way or another you can make an observation about dysfunction in that scene since “always” (the promising aspect of the moment in itself) gets broken when finn says goodbye to raven - “may we meet again” - and gives himself over to the grounders, shredding the physical idea of “always being a family” because his sacrifice means death and death means absence. there is no emotional preparation for this from an in-universe sense, literally none of his friends see his “i’m gonna turn myself over” moment coming, you know… the turn that essentially even manages to drift many relationships apart.

with bellamy and raven we have to whole idea of “always” turned upside down:

it’s interesting to see how clarke’s “death” serves as a catalyst for this moment for sure, but it’s also important to note that bellamy is the one reaching out to raven here and not vice versa, because while i’m sure that many believe bellamy will focus on his head heavily now (with clarke gone) i feel like this scene communicates that he is starting to find balance between his heart and mind himself like clarke told him to. this is not a “i don’t know who i am anymore” moment for bellamy. in fact, he knows exactly which position he needs to take on without clarke by his side (the baton is a really nice visual touch to the whole idea of that new balance), which adds a more hopeful tone to the tragedy overall, since bellamy, even though he tried to fight against it up until it was too late, got emotionally prepared for this by clarke herself - the possibility that she could be dying on this day and that he would have to take over a complete new role without her (mix of head and heart). like, just think about how this scene unfolds and where it heads to: raven is the one questioning whether they can do this without clarke or not while bellamy is the one who happens to ground raven in that thought process and tell her why they can’t let that happen.

yes, he just lost one of the most important people in his life and he is plagued with an immense sense of guilt up until the moment he and all of his friends actually survive on the ark (when they breathe in air again), but it’s also fascinating to see that he makes that one step towards raven when he says “You with me?”. he makes room for teamwork here, room for the fact that he needs raven in this - the other part of the triangle unit - and heal. there is no point made here about “loss of control”. is bellamy affected by clarke’s “death”? absolutely, no doubt. but he is also ready to not let clarke’s death be in vain. he’s been there and has done that without her before and it made him turn to the wrong side, but now he is going to do better than he did yesterday.

and raven is not going to let clarke’s death be in vain either, but will support bellamy after this loss, because she feels the exact same thing he feels - her worldview in terms of family has expanded beyond what raven ever imagined she could have besides finn, but she has found these people and wants to work with them as much as rely on them, too. and it’s that realization she makes here for herself: they all left clarke behind in a situation that was inevitable, clarke died for them “she saved us again”. so, in retrospect, the groundwork for this moment is that the “promise” that comes with “always” brings new life into raven’s character instead of making it die down in her own hands like it once happened. when she so desperately wanted to save her “family” (e.g finn or even sinclair whom she later tells “you’re always with me” in 4x11, coming to terms with his death all by herself).

its as clarke said, survival is a team-sport. and that’s what they all did, together.

raven’s answer, in hindsight, marks down the beginning of a new journey, not the end. while clarke literally rises from the ashes on the ground, raven and bellamy do so in front of the window up in space when they look down earth:

and i think that’s pretty great.

bellamy and raven survive alongside their other friends on the ark, with help from clarke, which just shows that they are all a family, even when she (clarke) is not around to physically be with them anymore. or in other words: she lives on through them the same way they live on through clarke on the ground.

i want a big ass reunion yall.

So I haven’t been watching su since the whole Singing-Slavers-human-zoo debacle, but I’ve been ruminating over a bunch of stuff from the last couple of seasons and how peridot has been handled makes me really mad.

We know the crewniverse loves to “fix” people with relationships (whether or not we see any on screen chemistry). When they slapped lapis and peridot together, they “cured” them of their mental illness/neurodivergance. Sure, lapis gets an episode or two to act mopey and gets triggered by amethyst in another, but other than that, being in a relationship with peridot “cured” her. She’s all better now because instead of facing her problems now she’s just with peridot and that makes everything fine somehow. Everyone talks about that.

What I hear almost nothing about is how lapis has, apparently, “cured” peridot. When peri first came on the scene, she was cynical, analytical, reclusive and on top of all that she showed obviously autistic traits. In the last three eps I’ve seen her in, she’s lost all of her “negative” (read: obviously autistic/neurodivirgent) traits and become a sort of hyperactive art hamster or something.

It’s almost as if the new writers/storyboarders viewed her autistic traits as bad and just threw them away! °o°

the only one I see come up is her scripting/ecolalia and it’s used mainly as comic relief. Other than that, she’s become an upbeat, neon-green popsicle with no purpose other than “try not to say the J word around Lapis, plz” and it fucking sucks.

And we never mention that amethyst threw her limb enhancers (I.e. her accommodations) into the ocean. When it comes up in the show that she needs them, Steven is the only one who cares. Never in the show is any effort made to recover them, Steven just makes her some paint cans and everything is fine because Steven ‘bleeding-heart-liberal" universe can do no wrong. Amethyst also tried to chuck peri’s tablet in the ocean (see a theme here?) But because it made her metal powers work, ame is a big hero.

This show had some kindness to it at one point, but it’s all gone now. Instead of teaching kids to stand up against even the most mild injustice or showing how teamwork and clear communication are what make friendships and other relationships work, now they’re telling kids to listen to the bigot’s side of things and to be sensitive to that “opinion” even if you have the means to help the people it hurts (like why was no one worried about any of the people in the zoo? They had literally all of security on their side and they didn’t try to do a damned thing about those enslaved people!).

TL:DR su has gone rotten. It puts forth bad/abusive relationships as a cure all (especially for things that should never be treated like they can be cured {e.g. neurodivergance}) and espouses straight up racism.

P.S. the new Lars was super fucked up. He puts it best himself: “ I was acting weird all day and everyone just LIKED IT?!” I love how this show teaches kids to violate people’s bodily autonomy because they’re not happy, positive people all the time. It feels like there’s so much eugenics hiding in su and it’s made me really uncomfortable for a long time

how ep 37 ruined chapter 51

This is something that has really been bothering me ever since the last episode of season 2 came out. Episode 37 (12) covered chapters 50 and 51 from the manga, but some changes were made and important details are missing. This is my opinion, and I’ll only focus on the first part of chapter 51 and how much certain details about Eren’s character were affected.

The chapter starts on top of Wall Rose, all the soldiers have just returned from their mission and everyone is hurt and injured. This is important because it shows how destructive these expeditions can be.
Eren brought Mikasa all the way to the wall, took care of her and made sure she was okay until the very end. Eren cares about his friends, he cares about other people, he would do anything for his friends and little scenes like this one show how much he really cares. He isn’t the best at showing these emotions so I’d like to see them giving more importance to this side of Eren more often in the anime.

Then, Eren looks around and he realises how much rescuing him affected everyone. He sees everyone around him in pain and that’s when he starts to blame himself. He sees the look on everyone’s eyes. That’s when Jean comes in. He confronts Eren and gives specific information about how many people were injured and died because that’s just how he is. This is important because this is how Eren and Jean have always communicated between each other. This is what Eren needs to hear. Jean is a honest person, always straight forward, always says the truth, and this has shown to have an impact on Eren before.

Only after hearing all of this from Jean, does Armin come in and tries to comfort Eren. Jean is upfront and what he said was like a slap from reality. This is why Armin reassures Eren that they didn’t lose any soldiers on their way back and then proceeds to make a connection between Eren’s scream and the fact that none of the titans paid attention to them. Everyone is surprised by this, Jean and Connie are confused and Connie even praises Eren for having saved them. Jean does the detailed information thingy again but this time Eren just sighs and lets it all out. This part made the scene so heartwarming and it made Eren feel better and relax a bit. It also shows a bit of Jean’s development as a character (also, Jean taking care of Connie in the beginning was ignored too).

Finally, determined and motivated Eren comes back: “Thanks Jean. Thanks to you I don’t think I have to hesitate anymore. You’re absolutely right. I just have to do this.” That special line in bold is important in this scene and did not take part in the anime adaptation. As Isayama has said before, Eren bluffs, he forces himself to be stronger than he really is, but his core stays true and brave no matter what. I emphasised on that quote because it shows that Eren was hesitating before. Little lines that this one give hints so that it’s possible for the viewers to understand how Eren really thinks and should not be ignored. This is why I think episode 37 completely ruined the whole purpose of this conversation between Armin, Eren and Jean.

In the anime, they’re in the middle of a random hallway (the same one they used for season 1), the mode is wrong, the expedition feels distant and the whole thing itself just feels hollow to me. Eren is just there chilling and out of nowhere he remembers how many people died for him? This doesn’t make sense. He blamed himself because he was faced with all the injured soldiers around him. Jean is ignored and they jumped right into Armin comforting Eren and talking about Eren’s new ability. Armin talks about how he and Jean “sat down and tried to figure it out” while in the manga Jean was clearly surprised to hear about it. In my opinion, there’s such a huge lack of emotion when it comes to Jean too (it literally looks like Jean is about to fall asleep and was just there because someone dragged him out of bed just to scowl at Eren lol).

Last but not least, Historia comes rushing at Eren and begs for him to help her save Ymir. He tries to calm her down and comforts her, he makes her feel better and relax a bit. Again, anime adaptation failed to show how lovely and caring Eren really is. This part itself is super important because it shows how Historia wants to save Ymir, how willing she is and how much she wants to forget about “Krista”. So I hope they bring this part back in season 3. This scene is important too because it sets a+the beginning of the huge development that Eren and Historia go through together during the Uprising arc.

I want to focus this post on the first half of chapter 51, but I’ll also refer how they omitted parts of Erwin, Pixis and Levi’s conversation, how they changed Connie and Hange’s theory, etc.

The very last part of this chapter is kinda irrelevant to the plot itself, but it shows how unique every character is and how they can still enjoy simple yet loving and heartwarming moments. I’m hopeful they’ll bring that small part back in season 3, though.

Regardless of everything, I am genuinely grateful and happy I got to experience and enjoy this season. This show will always have my full support and it will never fail to make me happy. I am very thankful and there’s countess things to appreciate about it. All their work must be admired and respected, and I hope everyone had as much fun as I did watching all these amazing episodes :) Chapter 51 has a special place in my heart, specially because it shows a side of Eren we don’t get to see very often and so I hope no one forgets about it!

We’ll Manage [Jordan Fisher x Reader]

Summary: Reader has to ask Jordan to go with her to a family gathering after they break up.

Word count: 2,682

Warnings: None, I mean… Two swear words?

A/N: This one turned out longer than I expected, but also one of my favorites. Shoutout to @protecting-my-legacy (#strawberriesandcheese) and the anons that requested more Jordan because I! LOVE! WRITING! FOR! HIM! Hope y’all like it too <3

askbox | masterlist

“Just text him, it won’t kill you!” Your best friend handed you your phone, but you denied.

“Are you insane? I can’t just text him! We broke up only a few weeks ago, I can’t just start asking for favors.” You still felt a knot on your throat when saying those words. The break-up wasn’t something you wanted, but it was something you both agreed on: Jordan had a very busy schedule, you were struggling to keep college and a healthy relationship with him at the same time, it was just not working.

“Well, you can tell your whole family you broke up with your grandmother’s favorite son-in-law…” Your look to her was enough for her voice to go lower as the sentence went on. It was true, your whole family loved Jordan almost as much as you did. When you first introduced him on a family reunion at your aunt’s birthday, your younger cousins recognized him from the TV, and soon enough he was giving everyone an acoustic performance of whatever songs your family wanted him to play, your older cousin playing the guitar.

anonymous asked:

Why did they have that long Danielle speech resuming her life to Jon when they didn't do it for anybody else that she met in the whole series? And had Davos to explain Jon's life too so she knows. That's not how you build a romance if their intention is J0n3rys, I've never seen that trope before. Like in a few minutes they get to know each other by someone else and the next episode they fall bc, why not, mutual respect, and then a few eps after they bang bc boy finds girl a goddess. WTF??!!!

They did it because they finally had the last two Targaryens in one scene. It was like they had to start to get to know each other for the final revelation. I didn’t like it though, I hated it.

That whole Danielle’s speech about what she had to go through which is, btw, not any different from something that so many other women have to endure, was so uncalled for. But somehow d&d decided to make her look more entitled than ever in this ep. and had her describe herself as the Mary Sue who suffered so much and only did good in her life. There’s Jon telling her about the WW and she starts with this little monologue of hers about being sold, betrayed and raped and defiled and she survived and built what she has now only because she believes in herself and bla bla bla bla, a speech that was TOTALLY AND UTTERLY OUT OF CONTEXT, because Jon doesn’t give a fuck about her birthright and whether she gave birth to dragons or the dothraki crossed the sea for her, but only about the Great War coming, yet she brags about HOW GREAT SHE IS, in front of a man she doesn’t know. Like girl, wake the fuck up and pay attention instead of only listening to yourself.

The pompous way to describe herself, that apparently gives her the right to assert herself as the rightful Queen of the 7K, that I cannot stand. Sansa Stark had to endure the same fucking shit:

  • Found herself in a foreign place (because fuck, that’s foreign place for her), where she was held prisoner, mistreated and beaten up in public;
  • Forced to marry not one, but TWO men;
  • Being followed around by a fucking creeper that “““loves””” her only for her resemblance to her mother and kissed her when she was still a child!;
  • She witnessed with her own eyes her father being beheaded, heard about her brother and mother murdered and decapitated while in KL as she was prisoner of the family who ordered the massacre and married to one of them;
  • Her aunt hated her and almost killed her for the love of a fucking creeper, instead of loving her for being family;
  • SOLD by the same creeper to the family that concocted along with the Lannisters the murder of her family;
  • RAPED, ABUSED, VIOLATED, DEFILED in her own HOME;
  • Her little brother killed by the man she was forced to marry;

YET SHE SURVIVED ALL THIS. She survived, reached her long, lost brother and convinced him to fight. She gained back her home, she rules the North now and has her OWN PEOPLE following her lead because THEY RESPECT HER AND BELIEVE IN HER.

YEAH DANIELLE, OTHER WOMEN WENT THROUGH SHIT LIKE YOU DID, BUT NOT EVERYONE IS AN ENTITLED BRAT LIKE YOU, WITH THOUSANDS OF TITLES THAT ARE OF NO USE TO THE COMMON PEOPLE.

Anyway, Davos went into full rage mode and described the shit Jon went through and THANK YOU DAVOS, because she fucking needs to be put in her place. I bet Dadvos noticed this brat needs an education of “how being less entitled and more humble”.

But I don’t know why they needed this to build the romance this way. Hyping the struggle they both had to endure to respect each other? I don’t rule out this is the way they want the romance to begin, but I believe it was a parallel between the two last Targaryens, who are similar for certain aspects, yet very different. Danielle relies on her birthright and her dragons, Jon never had any of it, but he gained the respect of his people and of the wildlings nonetheless because he is a leader, a commander. He became KITN without a title, without dragons, without the arrogance to believe to be the chosen one.

Those two representations mark the huge difference between them. She brags about who she is, what she has done and her birthright; Jon doesn’t even want to speak about his accomplishments, Davos intervenes on his behalf because he cannot stand anymore this woman. Hell, Jon doesn’t even want people to know he was resurrected! He could go around and brag about it, but he doesn’t. He’s not like her and never will be.

Two Targaryens, yes. One the opposite of the other though.

And I truly believe that is what D&D wanted to show us.

If they plan on building the romance like this, then no. It’s a big, huge NO for me. I’m tired of seeing men falling for her out of respect for what she did, how entitled she is and just because she’s her. I’m so fucking tired of men falling head over heels for her (see Jorah who is still not fucking over her), they’re making her look like a goddess that every single man worships. They have to stop with this and give her a male antagonist that won’t fall for her in a matter of a day, which could be interesting if it ends up being her last kin.

I don’t think Malec had sex in 02x07 after the cut and here’s why...

Okay so, I’ve stayed pretty quiet on the whole cut and sex scene or lack thereof from ep seven, we all know the one I’m talking about. But I was talking to @seaselkie (again) about this because that’s where my rants about TV shows usually goes, and she hasn’t yet seen season 2 so despite shipping Malec she’s impartial, also some of what I’m writing might have come from her in our discussion so I’m giving credit. So yeah, I showed her Jace’s sex scene, Izzy and Alec’s convo and the Malec “pre-sex” scene.

Her instant response was: “No way are they having sex right there.”

I agree.

I want to acknowledge now, that if they did have sex after the cut, it’s fucked up in more ways than one. It’s homophobic from a viewing standpoint and unhealthy from a relationship standpoint.

Seven Things About Supernatural: 12x15 - Somewhere Between Heaven And Hell

So.  Davy Perez.  We’re still keeping him.

  1. We come into this ep after the boys have been on back-to-back-to-back hunts, and…things are off.  Dean is acting out a bit: not worrying about getting covered in gore or bothering with basic hygiene, doing a kind of amped-up version of his usual snark, playing dumb, being extra crass, etc.

Obviously we don’t have anything direct from him about that, but my immediate interpretation is that he’s using hunts like a drug: to numb the stress and pain associated with Mary joining up with the BMoL.  Sam gets another ping and he’s ready to go, despite the fact that he’s almost certainly got to be exhausted.  The gore?  I’ve got a shiny nickel that it’s somewhere between protective coloration – the grosser he is the less likely people will interact – and passive self-destructive behavior.

TL;DR, Dean’s mental health could be better and it shows.  (Aside: Does getting into Sam’s good shampoo count as self-care?  Asking for a friend.)
  2. Can we just take a moment to enjoy the fact that this is the Crowley Appreciation Episode our King has long deserved?  Not only does he get thanked by both Winchesters (Dean grudgingly thanks him for saving Cas, Sam thanks him for his assistance with the hellhound hunt), but he gets a hug from the civilian of the week.

Oh, and that whole “keeping Lucifer chained up isn’t going to work” thing we were all doing?  Yeah, the payoff there was pretty fucking breathtaking.  I won’t lie: some of my enthusiasm here is seated in my general dislike of Lucifer as a character.  But…well…this just got interesting.  It wasn’t interesting before.
  3. This is a damn good episode for props.  The Negan-style bat, the hellhound glasses (which are badass both on and off the boys – that shot through them after they get knocked to the ground was phenomenal), and even the green cooler gets to be a weapon.  Plus, a couple of GISHWHES shout-outs in the paranoiac’s office: a globe of Mars and Queen Elizabeth II in space, and we see that Sam’s continuing with the Tolkien theme re: the BMoL.  That said, poor Baby.  We knew when Dean made a big deal out of Sam driving her that Bad Things were afoot, but damn.  Cruelty.
  4. As hellhounds go, Ramsey’s kind of unique.  She stalks Gwen, creeps in behind Dean instead of just tearing through the door or crashing through a window.  She seems a little smaller, too, than some of the hounds we’ve seen before.  Selective breeding?  And hey, more lore!  Hounds like dens!  Hell has a kennel!
  5. So we see a shift in who’s interacting with whom when the Winchesters arrive at the death scene.  Sam’s on with Mary, while Dean’s on with Cas.

The Sam-Mary interaction is novel: it’s mostly been Dean and Mary communicating until last week, when Sam is responsive to her calls.  Dean and Cas have maintained communications throughout, but combine that scene of the brothers having separate convos with the fact that Dean catches on that there’s something off about Cas when he calls about Kelly, and this may be foreshadowing for a split/conflict later in the season: Team Sam and Mary v. Team Dean and Cas.
  6. So this season continues to break down the Patented Winchester Betrayal Via Lies And Omission™ thing with Sam coming clean very quickly about aligning with the BMoL.  There was disagreement on the couch with his assessment that they can be thanked for the death of the Alpha Vamp – that was 99% Winchester with the main BMoL contribution being the presence of the tool and Mick’s willingness to take risks as part of the team – but he may be giving them credit for drawing the Alpha out with Project V.

I am still on the fence about his motives, but the way he talks to Dean about this in the ep suggests that he may actually be earnest in his choice, and that he’s giving the BMoL an actual chance.  I can’t think of a reason for him to keep Dean in the dark if he’s infiltrating to destroy rather than working in good faith, and his confession would have been an ideal time to tell Dean if he’s doing it purely for Mary’s sake.
  7. I am worried about Cas.  So worried.  So.  Very.  Worried.

Kelvin’s dangling some pretty enticing things his way – reconciliation with Heaven, the love of his family of origin, etc. – and Cas is appropriately wary.  In fact, I don’t think he’d have gone at all if Joshua hadn’t been mentioned.  As angels go, Joshua has always stood out as a unique player in things.  He stayed out of politics, tended the Garden, spoke to God.

So I can see why Cas is willing to entertain the notion that there is something worthwhile here to consider.  The problem is that I don’t think Kelvin’s being entirely forthright, and that Heaven rarely, if ever, has had Castiel’s interests at heart.

And, given that Cas is supposed to be “powered up” at some point this season…well, it feels like a trap.

Bonus Thing:
Crowley really needs to recruit better help.  These demon minions of the week, and the sheer absurdity of the bureaucracy is killing me.  I miss Guthrie.  Guthrie knew what he was about.

Bonus Thing #2:
Okay, but Dean and Crowley absolutely rubbed off on one another on multiple occasions during his and Dean’s whole Summer of Love, and Crowley’s got the Flickr album to prove it.

Bonus Thing #3:
Gwen Hernandez: self-rescuing and Winchester-rescuing civilian of the week.  Let us all applaud her courage and skill.  Fuck ‘em up, Gwen.

5x09 review-One Fettered Slave

I can’t believe we’ve come to this point.

One episode before the final epilogue and it feels so surreal-i can’t even begin to imagine  how it must’ve been for the people that have sticked to this show for 4 years.

Ep 9 was what i imagined it to be: quick paced, action packed and extremely emotional.

I was scared about the analogy between the Helena moments and the general mythology arc cause they had to show a lot of things- especially after Siobhan’s death- but they balanced it well.

let’s analyze the different thematics:

  • The Funeral

Siobhan’s funeral  started with Sarah speaking . In an episode that is focused on another character i think the writers did a good choice not showing Sarah’s vulnerability.

She’s suddenly the pillar of the family and eveyone is expecting directions from her. She has to be the strong one there’s no other way. Her grief and feelings are not her priority right now  so she won’t break down. Not in front of Kira, not in front of everyone.

Sarah’s grown so much. This moment says it all

what am i supposed to do?

she can’t afford losing her child as well. She’s the reason she’s keeping it together after all. So she stays with her and comforts her. Something Ms S had done all those years when Sarah was absent.

I also adored the symbolism of her wearing her mother’s jacket.

Sarah taking responsibility, lifting the weights of this family

also congrats for letting Tatiana without make up in her  portrayal of Sarah (or rather the “no make up” makeup ya know) cause it made her emotional chaos more humane… her eyes said it all..

also about her breaking down- i believe we’re gonna see her grieve the way she’s supposed to after everything is finally over. Last episode is Sarah centric so it totally fits to have her moment in the epilogue.

What i didn’t like from the funeral scene was the singing at the beginning, which i found anticlimactic..it would be much better if we could just hear Sara and Felix speaking with no other sound in the background..

Also the fact that 4 days after S’s death they could walk and talk in a house that is a murder scene was totally unrealistic..Police had to be all over the place investigating and all…

Unless Art handled the situation in a way..but still a plot hole is a plot hole

  • Team working together

Cosima,Felix, Art, Hellwizard, Scott, Rachel ok what a pleasant suprise to see everyone working together. I loved the fact that supporting actors got the chance to actually help the ledas and be useful. Each one helped in their own field.

Cosima helped with the Dyad information and Scotty-Hell with the security system (even if it was kinda weak to hack the security system with such convienience-i’m bypassing that lol)

Even Rachel helped!! Rachel!!! My only complaint was Alison’s minimum participation in this but i get that given the circumstances her involvement  would be extremely difficult

Should i talk about Art??

Cause everything

screams

SACRIFICE

and all this time i ‘ve been crazy rambling about how his chances of surving are veeeery  low…. ep 9 built his exodus cause the final episode will be Leda/Sarah Centric…so be prepared guys…

i get Ebro’s schedule..i trully do..and i was fine with Sardinia..i was fine with Geneva as well cause there was a reason behind it plotwise but we’ve come to the point where there isn’t even an explanation about this…

they didn’t clarify the reason she left… cause it doesn’t make sense when Siobhan’s funeral was 4 days after the gallery party…there wasn’t a reason good enough to justify her absence that’s why the writers didn’t give one…they prefered to let the fans decide which reason was good enough…let’s be real though that was sloppy..and as much as i love orphan black i’m gonna point out  it’s weakening points as well.

  • Coady+ Mark

So Mark died absolutely clueless…his death matched Ira’s death, both manipulated by their creators, hoping for a cure that never existed in the first place.Too bad that there wasn’t any building up to bring tension and to make us care about those characters… so this scene felt kinda flat at least for me…i believe the reason behind this was cause ob writers didn’t want to make Coady a grey character…. well i for once celebrated her death after this scene

wait it is confirmed that Coady is dead right? I mean Helena beat the shit out of her so it would be  impossible to zombie out ?? or should i be worried??

  • PT + Rachel!Sarah

oh god PT without his wig is like a bulb with ears lmao

anyway so i loved these 2 together…this is the first time Sarah meets John am i right?

also congrats to the props team and the level of detail they use in each scene…i liked that Sarah didn’t wear the same patch Rachel wears…

a++ to the dialogue about PT perving out on Rachel because in that way Sarah put herself on Rachel’s shoes and actually saw for the first time how they were monitoring her sister and what actually means complete lack of privacy…

also both Susan and PT seem to have a perplexed image as to what a father/mother figure looks like

you don’t fuck your ‘son’/ or watch you ‘daughter’ masturbate and then call them “son/daughter” lol

but it gave me pleasure that Rachel never actually called PT “father” and that’s how Sarah got exposed..

the moment she cut him with the knife i was like “yaaaas finish him lol”

HELENA

  • FLASHBACKS

omg??

don’t get me wrong the kid was very good/ super talented and all

but how could they do this???

i mean it was SO.FUCKING.OBVIOUS that this isn’t the face of a leda clone you couldn’t concentrate on anything else!

at least i couldn’t! Especially when 2 episodes before they used canonically Cynthia!

i mean

??????

it defies logic?? there’s no excuse??

they could have dubbed the ukranian parts i don’t care if little Cynthia couldn’t play that good that was so wrong in so many levels… it had the “Spongebob takes a bath in the sea” logic lol

and it was really such a shame cause the flashbacks were so amazing..

first of all i loved the whole “pleasures of the flesh are unacceptable in a religious environment” thematic cause it adresses real social issues like the austerity and fake puritanism of social institutions.

the reason behind Helena’s bleached hair was a nice touch even though little Helena should also have some  burn marks after this…we got to know why she has those pink shades under her eyes as well so that was good..

as far as to why her hair is still blonde after all this time…well i choose to patch this plot hole by believing that Helena did this to herself again and again..she bleached/dyed them as a sign of punishment, self harm  and guilt cause that was the way she was raised- a mouthpiece and killing machine of others..

the art department did a brilliant job with the dollhouse and the correlation between Helena’s fixation with dolls back in her Rachel assassination attempt

Tomas took her and hide her the fact  that she’s a copy..she grew up in the illusion that she was special..that she was the original..in fact Rachel and Helena fantasized about the same thing and it is so fascinating to see how they are 2 different sides of the same coin…

  • Most Heartbreaking moment

Oh god this moment…

what kind of mother could you possibly make?

jesus Tatiana each time you give more and more, i haven’t seen an actor as committed and devoted as you are, you deserve all the praise girl woah

Coady found Helena’s weakness and it is not how she smells, looks or talks…it’s about her capacity of giving a future more bright and beautiful to her children than the one her younger self  had to endure…

and at the end of the day she’s willing to take the bait..  it’s either freedom or death…exactly like Rachel..there’s no middle ground..she won’t leave her children become experiments so that’s why i find super important that we finally get a Rachel Helena scene…there’s a high probability Rachel won’t make it in the finale so at least lets have a last glorious scene with the 3 of them as they try to escape…or so i hope…

  • THE TWINS

YEEEEEESSSSS

all this crazy rambling about this being a Sarah-Helena season finally came true! Everything came full circle and this moment was SO important like you guys don’t understand…

Sarah finally made up for Helena..she gave her her blood to keep her alive…she put each and everyone of her friends and family searching for her, she made her a priority- drowning her grief -cause she couldn’t lose another one..especially Helena.

And now she will help her give birth..she will be there for her, protect her, give her life even..even tho after the obspoilers fiasco my theory now is that Art is gonna save Sarah…because it is super symbolic .. it would be his second chance and his redemption after losing Beth.. now he’s gonna do it right. Idk it is so foreshadowing… i wonder what Rachel’s role is gonna be..i sure hope she’s the one that’s gonna kill PT but who knows at this point.

Ep 9 set the mood for a very powerful ob series finale..Helena’s inner world was raw and pure and it’s going to  parallel  Sarah’s  final  gut-wrenching episode. The twins are going to set the epilogue and i trully hope their journey will be as magical and  satisfying as this show was  for all of us.

TFP has a lot of great eps, but i’d definitely say that Chain of Command is my #2 top favourite episode (second only to Orion Pax Part III). i mean

  • ongoing feud between screamer and shockey
  • “starscream, assume command of my beast”
  • wheeljack: “YEEEHAAA! [jumps off cliff]”
  • wheeljack jumping off the cliff, beheading a vehicon with his swords and ending with a perfect roll
  • Jackie’s sarcastic sword salute to Ultra Magnus omg
  • that whole epic scene where Jackie, Bulkhead and Magnus kick decepticon ass together
  • Ultra Magnus kickin ass with the frickin forge of solus prime like it’s not a special ancient relic or anything  #hammertime
  • miko emerges from her seahorse daddy
  • “yo, can i come with?” “why not”
  • predaking frying starscream’s helm spike
  • wheeljack legitimately considering miko as a Wrecker and being all proud dad
  • Predaking tossing Starscream around in the apex armour like a chew toy
  • Ultra Magnus’s faces. he’s just so done with everything already
  • wreckers vs predaking part 1 ayyye
  • starscream taking off the apex armour, wiggling his body & wings, “ahhh ventilation”
  • wheeljack trying to throw a grenade down predaking’s throat but hE FAILS AND THE FACES HE MAKES WHEN HE REALIZES HIS MISTKAE
  • “oh scrap”
  • Miko having to face starscreamand like not being afraid at all
  • MIKO GETTING INTO THE APEX ARMOUR
