and they have the best daughter

captainhunterman  asked:

Any Ayahina wedding headcanons?

I was recently talking to @ayahinas about Ayato being bitter about being left out of Touka and Kaneki’s wedding so he locks Kaneki out and Kaneki has to watch the wedding from outside. :D

But anyway, some headcanons:

  • Ayato’s probably like “huh? why a wedding? it’s a pain” but Hinami just forces him to have a ceremony anyway and he accepts.
  • Tsukiyama is the wedding planner, of course, like how can he let his daughter’s Hinami’s wedding go wrong? Everything must be perfect.
  • It takes Touka a long time to process everything because wtf how is that immature little brat of a brother getting married to Hinami out of all people????
  • Kaneki is in tears because THEY GROW UP SO FAST
  • Banjou’s like ಠ_ಠ but he’s seen how Ayato is with Hinami so his own personal feelings aside, he wishes them all the best
  • Oh drunk Uncle Yomo part 2
  • Nishiki dealing with drunk Uncle Yomo part 2
  • Hirako telling his kiddos not to be like drunk Uncle Yomo part 2
  • I bet Miza will be partly celebrating (because come on she ships them, no doubt about it) and partly cursing fate because what the fuck why is Naki so dense to the point that they’re still not married.
  • I wonder if they do the biting thing because I can’t imagine Ayato being willing to bite her deep enough to the point it scars her shoulder. But I can imagine him relenting after her prodding.
  • Or maybe they’ll have rings instead, like Arata and Hikari did.
  • When Hinami appears, she’s so beautiful that Ayato just can’t look at her. And so, what he doesn’t notice is the fact that Hinami can’t look at him either because his ikemen levels probably got amplified by 5000.
  • They’re up there, blushing, stammering and looking everywhere but each other and this continues for very long. At most, it’s quick glances and immediately turning away sorts of things.
  • Eventually, they do get used to it and it starts getting hard to look away.
  • They get married in the Ayahina garden of angst. Or maybe the ceremony happens somewhere close to it and when everyone is celebrating, Ayato quietly pulls Hinami away and drags her to the garden for some alone time.
  • She asks him why and he says nothing for a long while until he admits to her how the garden seems to be really important to him because it always reminds him of her since it has all those flowers and plants and how, when she was in Cochlea, he’d come here whenever the feeling of missing her gets too overwhelming for him. It felt like she’s back with him again.
  • He kinda looks a little sad so Hinami starts to get worried. I feel like Ayato will have a lot of insecurities about getting married because it means the start to a new family and clearly, Ayato didn’t have a good experience with his family. But Hinami admits to him that she shares the same worries and that she’s scared of what’s to come as well but she knows things will be okay because they’ll be together and he’s someone she can always trust and count on.
  • They can hear the music from the wedding so Hinami asks him if he wants to dance. Ayato clearly doesn’t know how to dance and she teaches it to him and asks him to follow her lead. There’s a little stumbling, tripping and stepping on foots but eventually, they get a hang of it (kinda like that Soma scene in Soul Eater except Ayato’s Maka and Hinami’s Soul lmao what). But stuff lightens up between them and finally, some heartfelt laughter.
  • I imagine the garden to be some kind of greenhouse-like kind of place so maybe the ceilings are transparent and you can look at the sky (or if it’s not, then they stand by a window and look at the sky) and Hinami admits how she’s always watched him when he looks out that the stars because he looks so beautiful when he’s under the moonlight and somehow, it feels so unreal that’s he’s now a definite part of her life and that he’s officially hers. Ayato teases her saying that she’s being cheesy but then he goes on and says that he’s always been hers.
  • They kinda discuss what’s to come and talk about kids and all that and the topic goes to kid names. Hinami says that if they have a daughter, she’ll want to name her ‘Hikari’ because of how Ayato’s always been some kind of light in her life when she was at her darkest. I kinda not want Hinami to know that it’s the name of Ayato’s mother (and is probably one of the only things he knows about her) and chose it on pure coincidence and Ayato doesn’t tell her anything about it either but instead he agrees to it since he’s mommy’s boy anyway.
  • They’re about to kiss when Touka walks in like what the fuck are the two of you doing here this is your wedding get your asses back down you can have your alone time all you want later at night
  • Somewhere out there in a CCG laboratory, Arata cries in his test-tube because his kids are all grown up.

I am tired of this killing innocents nonsens.

Everytime we get the news that there has been a new terrorist act. And every time the chills run trough my body. People i love are there at the moment of the attack, have been there just before the attack or are traveling to the place just after the attack. And its this way for almost everybody at the moment.

Brussels: just a few days before my hubbie and daughter brought one of our best friends to the airport.
Berlin: the son of a friend has just escaped he was around the corner of that christmas market.
London: My daughter was traveling to England on a schooltrip just 2 days after the attacks. If they have gone 1 week early it would have been her and her classmates hiding at  Borough Market or running for there lives at  London Bridge because all the London sightseeing was at this places.
Barcelona: 3 friends of ours live in Barcelona. I went to bed with the fear. From 1 of the friends we still don’t know if she is oke.

How can people do this kind of things. How weak and what a coward you are if you drive in on people with a car or truck. This people did nothing to you. There is no god who tells you to go out and kill in a coward way and kill yourself or have a suicide by cop after you’ve done this.

Have people learned nothing from a the religulous wars of the past? Let everybody have the religion they want and let everyone live in peace with there choice of religion.

Peppermint: Not one thing, huh? Not even a hint at what your real name is?

Lace: Not at all. I did find a book that was about a town called Sugar Valley. It seemed familiar but, I couldn’t remember anything.

Rune: We have been getting broadcasts recently about a family who’s daughter went missing from there. Vanilla, or something like that.

Peppermint: Oh, yeah! We heard something like that on the radio a while ago, didn’t we?

Lace: Do you think I could be her?

Peppermint: It’s always a possibility. I mean, you do kind of fit the description of her. I mean, not having any memory of who you are? Not knowing how you got here? I’m at least 90% sure already.

Rune: Before we get ahead of ourselves, I think the best thing that we could do, if you want, is for you to come down to the station sometime so that we can do some DNA testing. Find out if you really are this person. Then we can notify your family and tell them you’re here.

Lace: Why not just call them and tell them?

Rune: It’s best not to get their hopes up, just in case. I’ve been in the police force for a few years now, and it’s always hard in missing person’s cases when you think you found the right person, but you really didn’t. It’s better to be sure first.

Lace: Seems understandable.

Heyy, how are you??❤ I love your blog, you, Papa and Hajimama! I follow you and they everyday! *//* I want to ask a curiosity...If levi had a daughter, how would he behave if she knew a guy?? Have a nice day, love from Italy!❤

Hello there. I send all my love to Italy. Thank you for your kind words. To answer your question. Levi is a very cautious person, if he had a daughter and she would be with someone, Levi would observe the person. He wants the best for his child. It might be difficult for him in the beginning, like it is for all parents to realize that their children grows up, but he would trust her to know what she’s doing and to ask for help if needed

Zane was just sitting on the couch along with Izaic. It was a rather lazy day. Zane had no work at this time and Izaic wasn’t having any plans, and of course Alyzza was currently getting some time with her uncle Garroth. (…though letting his older brother taking his daughter might not have been thr best idea, But Izaic assured him that they were going to be fine.) So at the moment, the two men were just being lazy and sitting there quietly in their company.

The Ro'Meave was just on his phone looking through social media and watching a video every now and then. Ear buds hid in his hair as he watched youtube video. Past the audio from his little show, he heard a voice from beside him talk. He perked up, pulling out an earbud to look at his friend… er, partner.. he honestly has no idea what to call Izaic anymore. His thumb taps on the screen to make the video pause.

“Hmm? You wanna what??”

ER

I have to say emergency room visits always sucks. We were there last night for about four and a half hours. The best part of the experience I think is that 20 was able to sit and talk to a woman in her 60s or 70s and hear her story about breast cancer and a double mastectomy. She explained to him how it changed her life and the relationship with her daughter. From what he told me was that they did not have a good relationship until she got sick. I think it made him sad but also think about how close of a relationship we have and that he’s pretty lucky. The woman fell yesterday and had broke her arm but it was her daughter who left work to take her mom to the hospital.
We did not get home from the ER till about 10 PM. They said it is costochondritis which is an inflammation of the cartilage of your ribs. Thankfully it’s nothing serious good round Motrin will help.

What has been your worst "nice guy" experience?

So, possibly one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. I mean you know how you hear the “women want him, men want to *be* him” stuff in old movies? Well I’m a man and by *god* I wanted to be this guy. Anyway!

I’m having dinner with my girlfriend at the time, and behind us are a couple on a date. It is.. not going well. Guy was being rather creepy and making some pretty inappropriate comments, the girl doesn’t look at all comfortable.

The girl finishes her appetiser really quickly, my guess is she wanted to get it over with. Guy proceeds to comment on it and says “well, least I know you can swallow right?”. Loudly.

Girl goes red and tells him that isn’t appropriate, he literally waves his hand in a “shoo” type motion and says “oh calm down I was going to find out in a few hours anyway”.

I missed her exact reply as she moved to a hushed tone, but it was fairly obvious what was being said - fuck no, fuck off, fuck this. He responded with “sweetheart I picked you up, I know where you live”. She lost the colour in her face and said nothing.

No. No. Fuck no. I’m one of those “get involved” type of people and there is no way I’m sitting here watching this go down. I get up. I don’t know what I’m going to do, but I’m 23, fighting fit and happy to put that motherfucker through a wall. I may have had a slight temper in my youth. But anyway.

I was halfway out of my chair when a hand came down on my shoulder and I look up to this mid-50s but super fit guy who says “Easy.. I’ve got this one son”. Absolute, total confidence in his voice.. so seeing as my current plan amounted to “stab him in the neck” and I’m already thinking maybe that’s not the best idea, I sit down.

He walks over, grabs a nearby chair, flips it around and sits down with the couple. Then.. he pulls out his police ID and puts it on the table. Now the guy doesn’t have any colour in his face.

Cop: “So, I’m quietly celebrating my daughters birthday with my family when I distinctly hear you threaten this young lady, would you care to explain yourself?”

Guy: “I, ah, well, um, you see..”

Cop: “That’s what I thought. Now see, we take a *very* dim view of that kind of thing, so right now I’m deciding if I want to have some of my buddies come pick you up.”

Guy: “oh no well that…”

Cop: “But that would disrupt everyone’s dinner, so how about you hand me your ID, because I wouldn’t want you running off on me, then you go see one of the staff here and settle your bill.. the full bill now, this young lady shouldn’t go hungry on account of your poor behaviour. Or we can go with the first option, I’ll leave it up to you.”

Guy: “No no! That’s perfectly fine!” \*hands over ID, gets up and walks very quickly in the direction of the counter\*

Cop: \*while writing down the guys details\* “Sorry about that miss, I hope I’m not intruding it just seemed like you could use some help. Oh and don’t worry, if you want to pursue this further I’ll have some of the boys pick him up on his way home, we can definitely take this further.”

Girl: “No, thank you so much, I wanted to run out 30 minutes ago but he drove me here”.

Cop: \*shifts from hardarse cop to comforting father figure in about half a second\* “Well I’m here with my daughter, she’s about your age, perhaps you’d like to finish your meal with us? We can run you home afterwards if you’d like, unless you’d prefer to call someone else?”

Girl: “Oh.. that would be really nice.. thankyou so much!”

\*guy returns, so does the hardarse cop\*

Guy: “Uh so, I’ve paid the bill, if I could have my ID back..”.

Cop: “There you go.. now I have your details right here so I *highly* recommend you don’t go near or contact this young lady ever again.”

Guy: “Yes yes of course, I’m so sorry!”

The guy pretty much fled the restaurant, the girl went and sat with the cop and his family and by the time we left they were still sitting around talking and laughing about random crap.

It was hands down the best way I have ever seen anybody handle any situation, ever. That cop is my hero.

Y/N Stark always wanted a normal life. She hated being known as Iron Man’s daughter. She hated not being a normal teenager. For her entire life, she was home schooled, being taught from the best in New York. So of course, she wanted to go to a high school, to have the experience of hating her teachers and falling in love.

The first day of freshmen year was strange at Midtown High, most people didn’t know who she was until she told them her name. Rumors had been going around about the infamous Y/N Stark was attending Midtown, but nobody thought of it to be true.

Teachers would kiss up to her, not wanting to face the wrath of her father, Tony Stark. Everyone wanted to be her friend by the Friday of her first week in high school, everyone but one person, Peter Parker. He hated how she got treated like royalty by the teacher and the students, especially Flash, who did anything to get her attention. He hated how her grades were as good as his. The whole school knew about their rivalry quickly into freshmen year.

After Peter got bitten by the radioactive spider that gave him his powers, he knew he had to do something with his ability. Like his Uncle said, “With great power comes great responsibility.” This only convinced him more that he should be out there, protecting the people of New York. He was also happy that he finally got something that Y/N didn’t have.

He would never admit it to anyone, but he thought she was the most beautiful girl in the world. When she was around him, he was captivated by her beauty. They would share glances in the hallway but would both quickly look away from embarrassment.

Y/N didn’t hate him, she tried to be nice to him. She didn’t like how her dad gave Peter all of his attention, but she understood it was for a good reason. The two teens were always battling for first place for everything such as science fairs and debates. They were always neck and neck, him beating her as much as she did him. But, she thought it was cute when Peter did little things like tap his fingertips on his desk when he was nervous or whenever he spoke, she was drawn to his lips. She thought Peter was cute in general.

Most people saw his ‘hatred’ for her as love masked with hate. Everyone thought that by the end of high school the two would be dating. Peter’s friends tried convincing him to talk to her, nicely, but he wouldn’t. Y/N’s friends tried to get the two smartest kids at Midtown High together, but it just failed.

“Hey Dad?” Y/N asked while she sat at the dinner table alone with her father. He looked up from his food, “Hmm?” He mumbled back to her, with food in his mouth.

“Can I go to a-a party tonight?” She questioned, playing with the food on her fork.

“Where is it?” Tony asked, stuffing food into his mouth. Y/N looked up at him, “Queens. In the suburbs. A lot of my friends are going.” She added.

Tony nodded his head, “Fine you can go.” Y/N looked at her dad, eyes wide. “Really?” She exclaimed.

“Yes. But no drinking,” He stated, pointing his finger at her but paused, “Okay. Minimal drinking.”

Y/N smiled widely, nodding her head muttering, “Yeah, yeah of course. Thank you.” She ran up to Tony and hugged him.

She left her chair and went to hug him. “Let me take you.” He said as he hugged her back. Y/N pulled away furrowed her eyebrows, slightly confused at the man, “Why?” Usually if Y/N had somewhere to be, Tony made someone else take her so the act was strange.

Tony smirked, “Come on, you’d be the coolest person there because I have sweet cars.” Y/N nodded her head, agreeing with him. “Okay, well I’m gonna go get ready.” She beamed, running up the stairs.

Tony pulled up to you’re friends house, music blaring and red solo cups already littering the ground. He looked at Y/N, wondering where all the time went. “Ugh, you’re growing up, guess it had to happen sooner or later,” He joked, making Y/N giggle.

“I’m gonna go, I’ll call you when it’s over, or text you if I’m staying the night, alright?” She asked, exiting the car. Some of the teens who were standing outside or just got dropped off were staring in shock. Tony Stark just dropped his teenage daughter off at a party in a, most likely, a very expensive car.

Y/N slammed the door shut, “Bye Dad!” She waved with a smile, waiting for him to drive away.Tony smiled at his daughter, bidding his farewell before speeding away.

“God, she irritates me. She would obviously have her rich daddy drive her here in a cool ass car just to make herself look good.” Peter groaned as he went inside with Ned.

“Or maybe he wanted to take his daughter to a high school party?” Ned suggested, realizing that the statement didn’t make much sense. The boys walked over to the drink table. Booze, booze, booze. Whatever. Peter soon found the fridge and got water, in a red cup so people wouldn’t call him so prude.

Y/N had found a couple of her friends to hang out with. They were already buzzed, she wanted to stay sober just to make sure her friends got home safely.

Halfway through the party, Flash, the host, shouted, “Yo, if anyone wants to play seven minutes in heaven, bring your ass over here!”

About half a dozen people followed him. Everyone at the party was either too drunk to car about his statement or didn’t want to play the game where they were locked in a closet with a stranger. “Come on, let’s go.” One of her friends exclaimed.

“Yeah let’s go.” Herr other friend yelled.

“Um, I don’t think it’s a good idea.” She shouted over the loud music. Her friends rolled their eyes and grabbed either of her arms, dragging her in Flash’s direction. The group of people who wanted to play were already there, sitting in a circle, around a bottle that was resting on a table. She looked at the faces of all the people, and was met with the grimace of Peter Parker.

Her friends found an open spot in the circle so naturally, Y/N sat with them, sitting diagonally across from Peter. “You all should know how the game works. But, to those of you who don’t [cough] Peter Parker [cough].” Flash boomed, making his friends laugh. Y/N felt bad for him, he didn’t deserve to be treated badly. No one does.

“Whoever wants to start, will spin the bottle. Whoever the bottle lands on, you have to go into that closet,” He said, pointing to a closet nearby, “for seven minutes with that person. You can do whatever you want in there cause it’ll be locked. After seven minutes I’ll open the door and yeah. Start the process over again with the person next to you. So, who’s first?”

It was about 4 rounds into the game, and Y/N was getting bored. But she was glad she didn’t have to go in yet. After a pair came out of the closet, with lipstick smeared all over their faces it was Peter’s turn. “Be cool about it, there are a lot of hot girls in this circle man.” Ned whispered when Peter spun the bottle. Peter nodded his head, agreeing with his friend.

The bottle spun slower and slower, Peter’s hands were starting to get clammy. The bottle stopped and he looked up from the green glass. The person sitting in front of it was none other than Y/N Stark. All the teenagers froze, shocked at what had happened. “I-I gotta go,” Peter mutter, standing up from his seat on one of the couches.

“Na-na-na-na no,” Peter felt a hand on his shoulder, turning to see Flash, “You’re gonna go into that closet with your best friend Y/N.” Flash finished sarcastically, pulling Peter over to Y/N, before grabbing her arm and pushing them into the closet. Flash slammed the door closed, making the two flinch.

“Seven minutes starts now,” Flash shouted from behind the door, before walking away towards the group of teens.

It was quiet for about thirty seconds, the two both scared of talking to the other. There was enough space in the closet to leave you both a couple inches apart, but only a couple inches. “Um, I’m sorry you had to do this,” Y/N apologized sympathetically, “I should’ve never come to this stupid party.” She muttered the last part, shaking her head. Peter stayed silent, holding one arm with the other.

“Why do you hate me so much?” Y/N asked, desperate to know.

Peter sighed, “I-I don’t hate you. It’s just,” he paused, not knowing what to say, “I was so used to being the smartest kid in class and suddenly you show up, beating me in nearly everything. I guess I was just, jealous of what you had.” He admitted honestly, slightly frustrated. Looking down in between the two to look at his shoes. “You have everything in the world. You have a lot of money, a rich dad, and a bunch of friends. You’re fucking perfect. I don’t have anything like that.”

“I’m sorry,” Y/N apologized again, feeling bad for him. She started playing with her thumbs, “But, I’m not perfect, I hated what I had. My rich dad gives you more attention now than he gives me because of the whole, superhero thing.” She whispered the last part, not knowing if anyone was listening, “My friends only want to be friends with me because of my name and the money I have. It sucks, ya know?” Y/N finished, a few tears leaking from her eyes.

“I, I didn’t know you felt that way,” He said, regretting the way he has treated this girl for the past couple of years. He moved forward, closing the space between them, moving his hands to cup her cheeks, brushing away her tears with his thumbs.

“You didn’t deserve the way I treated you. I didn’t know what things were like for you. I am so sorry I was so rude to you.” He apologized, leaning his forehead against hers. Y/N reached up and placed her hands on his shoulders, squeezing reassuringly.

“You didn’t know, it’s alright.” She whispered, her breath fanning against his cheeks, and a small, understanding smile on her lips.

“But it’s not alright,” Peter murmured, rubbing one of his thumbs on her cheek. Y/N closed her eyes for a second, “If you kiss me, I’ll forgive you.” He looked at her slightly shocked. But he closed his eyes and tilted his head slightly to the right before leaning in and capturing her lips with his. She closed her eyes once again, putting her arms around his neck and her hands into his hair.

His lips were soft, and hers tasted like candy. Her nose brushed against his cheek, but the act went unnoticed. She started playing with his hair, twirling it around her fingers.

Unbeknownst to Peter and Y/N, Flash shouted that the seven minutes were up. He moved towards the wooden door, not hearing anything coming from the other side due to the loud music. He went to unlock the door. When it opened, he froze. “Holy shit!” Flash shouted making the two kissing immediately pull apart, out of breath.

Peter had a blush rising on his face, mimicking Y/N’s. Most of the people who were playing were curious at what was happening, a crowd forming around the door. “They were just making out!” Flash shouted with a smirk on his lips, making the blush on Peter and Y/N’s face deepen.

“Alright Parker!” Someone in the crowd of people yelled, making Y/N stifle a laugh. Peter glared at her playfully. The crowd of people began to fade away, Flash telling the two to get out of the closet for the next round of people to go in.

Peter and Y/N walked to a place in the house where there wasn’t a herd of people. “So, do you want to go to the movies with me sometime?” Peter stammered, nervous about what her answer might be. Y/N smiled, “I would love too, Peter. Now, go enjoy the rest of the party. I have to go deal with my drunk friends.” She chuckled starting to back away.

Peter nodded his head understandingly, “I’ll text you then. Yeah?”

Y/N tilted her heard to the side slightly. “You better. You don’t want to make a Stark angry.” She said with a chuckle, walking back towards her friends.

Peter fist bumped the air, before whispering to himself, “I have a date….. awesome.”

i have many reasons why i think naruto is sad after sasuke told him to give sakura a message, but i will say the one i think is mostly correct.
Naruto Feels Guilty. Why?
Bc he knows his best friend. bc he knows his best friend hasn’t seen the girl he loves and his daughter in years. bc he sent sasuke out on this mission. bc he knows sakura and sarada misses sasuke. bc he knows sasuke misses his family as well. bc he knows sasuke doesn’t know how tall his daughter has grown, how she dresses, what her voice sounds like, what’s her favorite food. bc he knows sakura’s feelings for sasuke. bc he knows sasuke’s feelings for sakura. bc what other clan treasures love more than the uchiha clan. bc after this conversation, naruto can go home to his wife and kids, but sasuke can’t.

Pillows - Peter Parker

request -  OMG I LOVE YOUR WRITING!!! Can you write a Peter Parker smut where the reader is Tony’s daughter and they’ve dating for a while now and one of the avengers hear them one night and eventually slip it to tony who freaks out because of the funny business in the heardquarters! I hope it makes sense

a/n - i had a lot of fun writing this and this became super duper long i’m sorry if this is a flop like me but don’t forget to request a peter parker / spider - man fic if you’d like and follow!

I was sitting towards the top of my bed, a book sprawled on my lap while the moon was teasing me outside. It was close to one o’clock in the morning, and I found myself not being able to sleep for the second night in a row. My bed was always so cold and stiff at this type of night, and staring at the city view only made me more awake.

I sighed and closed my book, letting out a breath of laziness. It was at that point in the night where my inability to sleep caused me to become frustrated, falling back onto my pillow and staring up at the ceiling.

With my father being the leader of the Avengers himself, I would usually be deprived of sleep since Rogers and Barnes would be talking up a storm at the dining table while my own father and Barton was cracking open a bottle of wine. Everyone within the tower was asleep now, but it was still quite difficult to go to sleep.

I began to think about the other ways I could’ve been passing the time until my eyes became dreary, and then it hit me.

Peter might still be awake.” I thought to myself, heart beginning to pick up it’s pace.

Why Arya threatening to kill Sansa is one of my favorite scenes in Game of Thrones

Growing up, Arya was sure of two things — that Sansa hated Jon, and that Sansa always wanted to be a queen.

  • Of the Stark siblings, Sansa was the only one who treated Jon like a bastard. The others all saw him as one of them. For many years, Arya watched Sansa treat her favorite brother unkindly.
  • Sansa lied about the whole Arya-Joffrey-Nymeria-Butcher’s-Boy affair to avoid hurting her chances of becoming Joffrey’s bride. Arya watched Sansa stick to this lie, even if her retracting it could’ve saved Lady.

Arya reunited with Sansa with neither of the above in mind. She knew they’re not kids anymore. That Sansa’s brattiness has probably faded away. After all, most of their family is dead. Why should she let the past get between her and her only sister?

But then came the lords demanding that Sansa replace Jon as ruler in the North. Arya is right. It is treason for them to even suggest overthrowing their king. And they did it so bluntly too. With utter disrespect in how they voiced it.

Enter Sansa. Her reply to treason… was brief, dull, indifferent. Arya is disappointed. Arya is confused. Then her memories awaken: Sansa always hated Jon, and Sansa always wanted to be a queen. Maybe she hasn’t changed after all… It all began with that. A couple of facts Arya always knew.

Enter Littlefinger fanning the flames with Sansa’s letter to Robb. And just like that, those two facts become cemented in Arya’s mind. She now thinks it’s very likely that Sansa will betray Jon. After all, she betrayed her own father and her trueborn brother before, asking him to bend the knee to the enemy. Why not betray the bastard brother she never cared for, and to achieve a dream she’s always had?

Angry that Sansa betrayed their family and suspecting that she’s going to betray Jon, Arya confronted Sansa. Threatened her life.

There is no way, for now at least, that Arya will accept Sansa’s excuse of having written that letter under duress. To her, Sansa was either a cold-blooded traitor, or a weakling who didn’t love her family enough at best. Either way, she was disgusted with Sansa. Arya is too much like Ned, who chose dishonor then death to save his daughters. Escaping, murdering, dying… Arya thinks these are far better options than cooperating with the enemy.

In Arya’s eyes, Sansa has now become one of the Freys. Someone responsible for the death of her loved ones. Worse, someone who could still betray Jon now. Arya is not a kid anymore. She’s not about to throw another spoonful of food at Sansa. She’s a Faceless Man now. She’s going to throw her a taste of death.

I absolutely loved this scene because of how true-to-character it is. It reminds me of what Arya was like as a child… of how much of a Stark she is… of how important loyalty is to her… of how similar she is to Ned and Lyanna… of how much she loves Jon… of the fact that she’s deadly now.

Many viewers ignore how this scene is a perfect display both of who Arya has always been and who she has become. The Starks are the good guys in Game of Thrones, so they expect nothing but hugs, kisses and smiles from them.

I read the leaks about the whole season even before Episode 1 premiered. Arya and Sansa will reconcile in the end. But I don’t know why people expected everything to be smooth-sailing in Winterfell the whole season. Game of Thrones is a drama series. Of course the writers will always create drama. And this scene was one of the most honest and best-written slices of drama they have given us.

Happy Mother’s Day Women of Bones! 🌸

beccadrawsstuff  asked:

what kinda headcanons? I'll chuck some out see if you like any of them: klance as parents, first paladins, victuuri as an old married couple, hunk and pidge friendship, lotor's generals

BECCA COMING THROUGH WITH THAT GOOD SHIT!

All of these are rad… I think I’ll definitely have to do Hunk and Pidge as friends eventually… but for now have some Klance as parents headcanons.

Lance

  • Fun dad. King of bedtime stories and surprise tickle fights when his kids come around the corner.
  • Performing arts dad - buys all the tutus, bedazzles the tulle, helps his daughters with their makeup back stage.
  • Lets his daughters practice their makeup skills on him
  • *sneaking up on Keith after the girls have gone to bed* “Oh my god, you’ve been attacked” “Am I a pretty boy?” “Do not kiss me with thatLANCE NO! NO NO NO!”
  • Makes sunday brunch every weekend.
  • Fashion dad - “Keith don’t let them dress themselves!” “What, they look fine.” “They’re wearing plaid with polka…! Oh my god! Jeanie come here!”
  • Cries a lot. “I’m just so proud!” “Babe… they’re just graduating to middle school.”
  • Hilarious. So fantastic with kids. All of his daughter’s friends adore him. They get excited every year when career day rolls around and they know Lance is going to come in and tell some awesome stories about space.
  • “Did you meet any aliens?!” “Sure did, and I married the prettiest one.” All the kids laugh. They have no idea.
  • Rubs his scruffy cheek on his daughter’s faces.

Keith

  • Discipline dad. Genuinely terrifying. No one crosses him.
  • Soft and quiet generally. Pulls his daughters on to his lap frequently to talk about their day or lecture them about safety.
  • Lance may help his daughters with their makeup, but Keith always does their hair. Their friends are jealous of their perfect ballerina buns.
  • “Needs more glitter” - Keith, pulling out a can of glitter hairspray.
  • While the other kids might adore lance, they are in awe of Keith. He’s an urban legend. So cool! Did you know Keith rides a motorcycle and wears a leather jacket? That’s nothing, I heard he wrestled a bear with a plastic butter knife and a pencil!
  • No one plays the “My dad could beat up your dad” game with Keith’s daughters.
  • Protective dad - “Macy better watch herself, Mark! If I see her check my kid again…!” “Babe… it’s peewee hockey.”
  • When his daughters are of dating age, Keith gives the boyfriend’s THE TALK.
  • His daughters are armed and dangerous. They’ll kill you in a parking lot with just their car keys. Don’t touch them.

As a pair

  • Really gross. So in love. Will frequently kiss in front of their daughters to gross them out.
  • “Aren’t you glad that your dads love each other?” “Yes but can’t you just… do that in private??” “We do other things in private.” “DAD!!”
  • Birthday parties are a BIG FUCKING DEAL. Lance and Keith throw the most banging parties. Giant birthday cake by Hunk? Check. Petting zoo? Check. Water balloon fights? Check. Bonfires and smores? Check check. Funny ghost stories where the ghosts spook children with farting? … check.
  • Attend every single piano recital, ballet performance, hockey game, and school play.
  • Argue with PTA moms.
  • Whenever their daughters have a particularly awful tantrum. “You know they get this from you. This is your Galra side coming out.” “They’re adopted, lance.” “I stay by what I said”.
  • Halloween family. Lance is really into it and goes out of his way to plan and make everything, but Keith’s quietly competitive nature always gets the best of him.
  • “We’re the best looking family out tonight.” Keith whispers. Lance beams. “DAMN RIGHT!”
  • Always support each other’s decisions. They are a pair united. Their daughters tried to pull the “But papa said…!” On them once. once. It did not go well. “Lance did you agree to this?” “What?! No!”. Cue Keith’s disapproving face.
  • Build treehouses and swing sets together.
  • Fall asleep on the couch every Christmas eve after staying up til 3am wrapping presents.
  • Buy each other #1 Dad mugs.
  • Introduce themselves to their daughter’s teachers every year.
  • Keith takes Lance’s  last name.

How to talk to your daughter about her body, step one: Don’t talk to your daughter about her body, except to teach her how it works.

Don’t say anything if she’s lost weight. Don’t say anything if she’s gained weight.

If you think your daughter’s body looks amazing, don’t say that. Here are some things you can say instead:

“You look so healthy!” is a great one.

Or how about, “You’re looking so strong.”

“I can see how happy you are — you’re glowing.”

Better yet, compliment her on something that has nothing to do with her body.

Don’t comment on other women’s bodies either. Nope. Not a single comment, not a nice one or a mean one.

Teach her about kindness towards others, but also kindness towards yourself.

Don’t you dare talk about how much you hate your body in front of your daughter, or talk about your new diet. In fact, don’t go on a diet in front of your daughter. Buy healthy food. Cook healthy meals. But don’t say, “I’m not eating carbs right now.” Your daughter should never think that carbs are evil, because shame over what you eat only leads to shame about yourself.

Encourage your daughter to run because it makes her feel less stressed. Encourage your daughter to climb mountains because there is nowhere better to explore your spirituality than the peak of the universe. Encourage your daughter to surf, or rock climb, or mountain bike because it scares her and that’s a good thing sometimes.

Help your daughter love soccer or rowing or hockey because sports make her a better leader and a more confident woman. Explain that no matter how old you get, you’ll never stop needing good teamwork. Never make her play a sport she isn’t absolutely in love with.

Prove to your daughter that women don’t need men to move their furniture.

Teach your daughter how to cook kale.

Teach your daughter how to bake chocolate cake made with six sticks of butter.

Pass on your own mom’s recipe for Christmas morning coffee cake. Pass on your love of being outside.

Maybe you and your daughter both have thick thighs or wide ribcages. It’s easy to hate these non-size zero body parts. Don’t. Tell your daughter that with her legs she can run a marathon if she wants to, and her ribcage is nothing but a carrying case for strong lungs. She can scream and she can sing and she can lift up the world, if she wants.

Remind your daughter that the best thing she can do with her body is to use it to mobilize her beautiful soul.

Saw a man refusing to let his pregnant wife off the porch because he “saw a rat the size of a dog and I will NOT let it bite you, please go back inside darling”. Made me wonder how protective the Maheswaran’s were of their baby.
